The first action figure of the redesigned Freddy Krueger from the upcoming remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street has come online and it proves what we’ve already heard on numerous occasions: the new Krueger (played by Jackie Earle Haley) looks like a real burn victim.

Definitely the left one if you ask me. The other one has this nice trick with the mismatched eyes but still he isn't so scary.

Englund's Freddy looks way scarier but Haley's does look like a real burn victim and that is what Freddy is. I hope they keep a serious tone to this one and not make it so campy like the originals...

The end of no. 1 killed it for me... The Freddy Mobile... If they would have kept that out of the film, it would have been 100% amazing... from what I remember. "

It's nice to see that instead of reinventing the character they decided to make him almost identical.

The Freddy on the left looks scary as hell. The one on the right looks well,.......dare I say it, "special". I don't see the malice in his face. He looks more sympathetic.

Well I'm pumped as hell for the movie I can't wait but the original freddy look scared the sh!t out of this one....eh not so much. lolz

Although in the original movie Freddy looks scarier... I would have say that this is a more realistic feel to it, and I like that better.. Because First: A burn victim usally looks something like this if they had been burned on the face Second: He looks feaky, but not that scary. And the reason I like that is because just like a person theres some freaky ones, but nobodies just going to run away unless they are going to be harmed by them.... Third: It leaves more room for other emotions instead of just appearing scary all the time... It's freakier not knowing what they're going to do to you than always knowing just by looking at your face....    This kid is a real burn victim and I'd say that this creeps me out, but I'm not going run away from them unless this little boy has blades for fingers and is trying to use them on me... Just think about it... It adds more of a realistic factor that's what I like about it...

The realism of it is what makes it scary, just look at his creepy face.

Wow. Looks similar to Voldemort off of harry potter. lame.

The original looks a bit more frighting. 

The original Freddy didn't look like a burn victim but one where a dude had a couple chunks of his face taken off. The new Freddy actually looks like a burn victim. Let's also keep in mind, THIS new Freddy is an actual pedophile. The original films didn't go that deep into that fact. Fred Krueger liked children...NOT teens.
