Young Justice: Invasion Blu-ray Pre-orders Now Available

If only the show was returning. But we won't get into that. We can celebrate the show in glorious high-definition in November!

Warner Archive Collection brings another outstanding Warner Bros. Animation television series to Blu-ray^TM with theNovember 18 release of “Young Justice: Invasion,” the thrilling second season of the popular series. Pre-orders are now available via wbshop.com (http://bit.ly/YOUNGJUSTBLU2).

Taking this release to another level, Warner Archive Collection has added an exclusive commentary track on the series finale episodes “Summit” and “Endgame” featuring creators Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti along with voice actors Jason Spisak (Kid Flash) and Stephanie Lemelin (Artemis). The package also includes a Behind the Scenes featurette.

“Young Justice: Invasion” finds our heroes five years into the future – and a lot can change in five years, as our super heroes are about to find out. First, there’s some new residents to be found at Mount Justice: new team leader Nightwing, Wondergirl, Blue Beetle, Batgirl, Bumblebee and Beast Boy. And Young Justice will need all the help it can get as an alien presence has infiltrated Earth, while certain members of the Justice League are forced to stand trial at the criminal hearing off-world. Watch as The Reach, spearheaded by the quick-talking Ambassador and backed by the muscle of Black Beetle, manipulates a trusting public while maintaining its shadowy maneuvering with The Light. This is a grand 20-episode adventure as the risks have never been greater and the conflicts never so far-reaching – and the epic finale will shatter everything you know!

Please warner bros. do a new 52 version of this show with the teen titans and the legion of superheroes(legion lost) A lot of people miss this show.

Seriously though, It's not on Blu-Ray, which is a bit of a bummer, but you can get the complete first season for twelve bucks on the CN shop.

"If only the show was returning" is all you really needed to type up for this, G-Man lol. Ugh it makes me so sad. It had such potential an even with just 2 seasons it really showed and had promise to it in my opinion. Guess I'll just have to watch reruns until the end of time. :/

Nice, this is something I would pick up since I never get tired of watching the series.

Side note...If they ever did a season 3, it would have been great it they could have had introduced Red Hood since we already saw that Jason was once part of the team. Maybe as first trying to take down the team and later helping them.

This show just makes me infinity sad about Wally when I see it. The end of Wally being pushed out of existence is pretty much what happened in actual DC comics since the new "Wally" is just some guy who runs fast named Wally West and not actually Wally West.

Hopefully this means season 2 will also be coming to netflix.Come to think of it to bad it couldn't continue as a netflix original series.

Every time I see something about this it break my heart a little bit more. I really feel for Weisman who gets screwed on every series, which is a shame because his writing is top tier for cartoons. First Gargoyles, then this, and now he's off Star Wars: Rebels. The guy can't catch a break.

@captainmarvel4ever: I was so depressed when they cancelled it, CN cancels awesome shows, thats pretty lame but since Greg Weisman left star wars rebels I *really* hope we get a continuation or a fresh new start with Vanadal Savage and a Darkseid team-up.

@captainmarvel4ever: LOL I started reading comics after young justice and I was like extremely *corrupt*. I t wnt horrible with the comics, but it was still a good show. Its probably one of my favorites.

@arzix: There is no denying it's good, there's just a lot that bugs me, like Superman being a jerk, Green Arrow being incompetent, Zatanna being waaaaay too young and having a relationship with Dick, and a bunch of other changes they made for no reason. I can ignore this show being called "Young Justice" even though it's a Teen Titans show, but the changes rub me the wrong way. Other then that though it's a really really good show.

I miss this show.

cant the creators open a kickstarter or something to fund production, im sure if the fan base solely funded the money or at least a majority im sure DC/Warner would sign off on it

Agreed, excellent show! Canceled way before its time. State of the art animation. Had some really cleaver dialogue (why isn't anyone just whelmed?). I really miss that show!
