@pyrofn: Like a much more complicated version of the psychic daggers. More like the Masterminds elusions. Like how Martinique was able to have all of San Fransisco look like hippie ville even to Emma and things they were holding disappeared after she lost her control.

Just imagine Xavier wheeling up to a chipmunk and going "Jean is that you? What? Wolverines stuck in a well? Assemble the Squirrel scouts....I mean to me my X-Men"

So issue 4 was kind of boring, but it did further the story, so there’s that.

Ok I skimmed through the last issues and....

1. The idea of Legion storing his multiple personalities into the multiple dupes was... ok? With better execution could be even cool.

2. The involvement of X-man as Shaman enforcing the world peace is too damn bland. Not that farfetched as a concept, but totally lacking in execution, again.

3. It seems to be leading towards X-man vs. Legion, and again, this is an idea I always wanted to see, it's just I had a completely different setting in mind...

What else can I say? Well, it's a mess all in all.

Ok, so what does everyone think about Issue 5?

We need more archangel drama?We can never get more of this?

I believe Danger is with Magneto’s Acolytes???? Last we saw her was in Blue and she hasn’t been seen on the roster promotional material, so I suspect she went with Magneto.

Edit: Also, X-Man is sort of in his own bubble.

@koays: That part confuses me. I thought the goal was to focus on left over problems happening. They didn’t mention any goal of looking for X-Man at all. That was the exact reason why the X-kids argues with them to begin with. This is just baffling.

@pyrofn: Lol dont get me wrong this is still shaping out to be the biggest and best X-Event since Second Coming. But the characters are acting kinda dumb in order to get from point A to point B instead of just going taking the shorter route.

It feels like they wanted longer issues to tell move more plot and build to the kids and Legion plot while also keeping the X-Men busy....but Marvel just gave them more issues in a weekly series instead and that just turned them upside down since now every issue needs to stop the plot for a fight and then we get filler issues like this where X-Man Kitty a d Apocalypse get one scene to advance their plot while we get 3 scenes of a Magneto fight that we all know cant lead anywhere.

the x-office applies triangles to the x-men stories and fans create triangles too like x-men trinity, x-men female trinity, love triangles, etc.

@pyrofn: LMAO. That's pretty much the scene I was remembering when I did the first rollout but the Bottom of that first panel is the eyeroll of the century. I may need to cut that and just use on battle threads.

@koays: Not only that, but remind them of what Jean told him the 90’s and him literally saying she was right then because my god the irony is too funny. The fact that Jean didn’t ask for a moment alone with him is such a missed opportunity.

Seriously, I can imagine them all standing awkwardly while Jean is yelling at him while they hear crashing noises and Warrens screams. Lol!

Is it confirmed that Logan and Scott are rejoining this team? From solicits it looks like they’ll be recruiting villains and I’d really like a classic X-Men tream personally and definitely no more freaking in fighting. These are grown ass men and women that should be able to settle disagree,ents amongst colleagues without literally beating the crap out of each other

@jameswayne: They aren't joining the team. The assumption so far is that when X-Man warps reality (possibly in the Age of Apocalypse instead of in the main universe) all of the X-men are caught in it and Cyclops and Wolverine are left in the main timeline where they have to form a team from whoever is left to face a threat. They'll then be starring in Uncanny, while the Age of X-Man titles will be where the reality warper X-men will be at.
