Speaking of X-Men, I wonder which X-Men will be in there...
Jean could be likely considering her recent surge in exposure. Still, this game seems like it has been in development for some time, so unless specifically requested by Marvel, Jean might not be a possibility without DLC...
Storm is most likely a given.
Magneto might also be likely, that is if they don’t restrict him to a villain role.
Lol not gonna lie, but the difference breaker for me on whether this is continuing the March toward X-Men Equality or if it's more modern Marvel Avenger propaganda is whether or not we get Cyclops in this.
What koays said. Avengers have been pushed too much. We need a separate team like the new warriors so the industry doesn't get over saturated with avengers.

@jhazzroucher: You saw Wolverine in the announcement trailer. You’re not telling me that you think that’s the entire roster so you? Or that the X-Mansion isn’t a sign of the X-Men being present?
Edit: To be fair to Jean, she has been becoming a more and more common choice these days. (Particularly in her Phoenix form)

The Fox acquisition isn't completed yet so it's not going to be certain.
@payneintheass: Compared to the emotionless animations of MUA2 and the facelessness of the first, ithe third looks like an improvement. In fact, compared to most Marvel games, this is pretty good.
The only top looking visuals I’ve seen of Marvel in recent years have been from:
Marvel Heroes Omega (dead), UMvC3 (Infinite didn’t live up to the previous), and Spider-man PS4. (Good for Spider-Man fans)
@jhazzroucher: I’m positive they will. The X-Mansion is the biggest hint of it. If they showed Wolvie anywhere else, then I’d have agreed, but I highly doubt that they won’t bring in the X-Men if they feel bold enough to bring in the X-Mansion.

Cautious optimism. Its been a Marvel game drought so anything shown is a step in the right direction... however if you been paying attention to the gaming industry there is akways some "hustle" and i wanna know theirs before I'm willing to drop money. The "hype culture" prominent in gaming usually leads people to wildly speculate about what would be cool which is usually what isn't what we get.
Not only that this isn't the same Marvel behind classics like X-Men legends 1/2, ultimate alliance 1/2, Marvel vs Capcom 1/2, etc. They used to put fans first. We are talking post MvC3 Marvel who puts the MCU first. Willingly ignoring fan favorites to push certain MCU characters (see MCU vs Capcom: Infinite) Hearing allegations from behind the scenes about how Marvel told artists to make Capcom's side less "appealing" aka ugly compared to Marvel's side, people who showed the game early couldn't show Marvel characters losing, etc. Disney's version of Marvel have proved they don't care about X-Men fans for the last couple of years...so I'm skeptical having Wolverine in the trailer means they won't shaft X-Men fans as usual.

True and I believe they've learned something from MVCI game that they'll get a backlash and poor sales if there are no x-men characters so they decided to add and include at least Wolverine on the trailer.
@jhazzroucher: most likely because the other tams have !ore hype behind them right now with their movies and what not. They may also still be trying to figure out which X-Men get included and which are left out.
