and "mjolnir is not real"
@titing2101: that one was special xd
@thor321: well it came from a special person XD
sad that CBR is kinda popular in social media and that new readers and Mcu fans that would like to read thor will see those kinds of posts
@titing2101: so true.
and let's not forget the most epic stuff from JKtheMac.
Gods being afraid of Mangog (and Cul, God of freaking Fear), especially Odin, makes perfect sense and it's an incredible development.

just looks at this shit!!!
Odin being afraid while his wife fights.
absolutely disgraceful.
@thor321: That is really bad.
mangog > galactus.
Odin didnt even showed this when galactus was going for asgard
I very rarely go to CBR, the site itself is full of articles that have poor knowledge in comics and the movie medium, regarding their threads (terrible interface) there are some interesting posts, but i feel that most of that community is older than myself and the majority cv users, and so they are even more defined by the mentality of the Everything is Awesome...
There also is a very predominant lack of fact check, i mean even when other (apparently) more knowledgeable users notice that what some user said is not accurate, if what he said fits the praise narrative he will not be corrected...
As an example of what i said, is the claim that Aaron was the only one that actually explored all the nine realms and made it central to the narrative, well that already happened back in 2011 in a series (not even comics) that was not Thor/Asgard based, i am obviously talking about season 1 of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes episodes 25 and 26... By the way cool stuff...

Odin didnt even showed this when galactus was going for asgard
nor when he fought Celestials.
Mangog rips out the Destroyer with his teeth whose metal is far more durable than Mjolnir.
here comes Jane and breaks Mangog's tooth in one hit

it's not even 9 Realms.
it's 10 now.
Hope that detail (that was only introduced in 2014 and just comics wise) didn't prevent you from getting my point... What i mean by fact check its not really correct someone who doesn't always refers to the realms as 10, since for so many years they were just 9 and they are not 10 in every medium... Its more like for example claim that in Fraction run Gaea, Idunn and Freyja had the Odin-Force where there are panels contradicting that notion, but more importantly this would totally derail what was established in Thor vol 2 by Both Jurgens and Oeming, you have to worthy and actually deserve the Odin-Force.

yeah, I go your point don't worry xd

totally.
I really liked that chapter where Odin was talking to Thor about the Odinforce.
I don't even know who got the idea that All-Mothers had Odinforce.
hell, Gaea doesn't even need it nor did it even make sense for her to be the All-Mother.
the entire concept of All-Mother is one big gigantic bull***.
Jane is currently the All-Mother for... some... reason...
@thor_parker82: Ya i agree i think we will after war of the realms. But im not sure who. Maybe Al Ewing if he can take interest like he has with hulk. I think he could add some good elements and respect back.
Al Ewing could be good I guess.
@thor_parker82: A new writer, how about another Walter Simonson run?? I'm not sure who marvel has I'd trust with Rebuilding Thor again.
Donny Cates
I Iiked hickmans version of thor. even the unworthy one. Very different from aaron
Hickman did write him good. And gave him a good death with Hyperion.
@coolcat4: true Hickmay did well. Anyone other then Aaron for me

That dude is the worst thing I've witnessed on the CBR forums haha, I swear this is Aaron or Aaron's mother in disguise.

lol. he is one of the big three. SnoopDog, JKtheMac and one i forgot.
blinded by aarons greatness
Man, fuck it
Just read hickman, he turns a thor shitted on into a gold even when he kept thor unworthy, it is all about how much consistency and less blitz changes you push into the character
yeah his unworthy is way better than unworthy by aaron up to this god of hammers shit
I disnt have a problem with fem thor however i wish thor was still written as a powerhouse
fem thor is filled with problems tho

Thor is a mantle. magical girl transformation, speech, being a "better" mjolnir user from the start with no experience. taking on odin and mangog, retcons, not following the lore and history. all started with fem thor.
all mother
valkyrie
J. Michael Strazcynski is coming back, hopefully to write Thor.
please please please!
@titing2101: I dont have a problem with fem thor at all and I really dont care about those problems you listed.
Only problem i ever had was how they nerfed odin and thor

those thing leads to odin and thor getting nerfed and a lot has been waiting for the redemption of those two also.
Hopefully another writer comes and do justice to thor comics
The overall problem with the modern writing style is that Marvel turned over their company and characters, under the Quesada regime, to Indie writers and let them basically do whatever. It became more about the creator on the title and less about the character. Characters are used as props for a specific story, rather than the creators using their style to craft a character 'x' story.
Sure, in years past a Roy Thomas Thor story was different from a Simonson one, and from a Warren Ellis one and Jurgens one. But they all, to me at least, "Thor" stories. Not stories from the specific creator that happened to be about Thor. It's part of the slow death of continuity and a major lack of editorial discipline.
Also a lot of writers since the Quesada era until now have adopted the Bendis approach. Tear a character down, strip them away to their base bits, deconstruct. Until the next writer builds them back up and then proceeds to do the same thing. It's why we'll always have a story about what makes Thor worthy, despite 50+ years of development and countless stories portraying the same journey.
It's my overall problem with the comic book medium and why I stopped buying some years ago. The characters and worlds are not allowed to evolve and move into different directions.
As for JMS returning, I doubt it'll be to Thor. I would've preferred Hickman quite honestly. I think he nails the speech pattern and overall timber of the character. JMS would be fine but working with Ed McGuiness makes me think it'll be a different character. McGuiness on Thor would suck, IMO. Besides he left Marvel while doing Thor because of creative differences with them wanting to use Thor for the "Siege" event and he not wanting his story derailed for a crossover.
J. Michael Strazcynski is coming back, hopefully to write Thor.
please please please!
This would be the best possible news if JMS returned to Thor, AND Marvel editorial allowed him to write his story without any interference from ridiculous crossover events.

It would indeed be the best news in the last 4 years.
@titing2101: @antithetical: @titing2101:not to burst your bubbles but all those team ups we were getting are just for some idiotic Marvel Comics #1000.
@thor321: Well, that is why I said "if", I already know better than to get my hopes up when it comes to nearly anything Marvel comics does these days.

We have yet to see Thor in action. All he does is show up towards the ending of the comic. lol. It would have been cool if he utilize the destroyer hand more
Just heard that Odin became Iron-Man.
lol what
@phisigmatau: yeah, they gave him some Iron suit like Iron-Man.
I don't read this Thor crap so I don't know how it looks so it's a blessing.
@thor321:
yeah i think im picking up Old thor comics to read instead, this stuff is trash
Awful issue, Aaron is a cancer to Thor and Asgard.
did Odin die???
yeah i think im picking up Old thor comics to read instead, this stuff is trash
yep, good call.
seems like it. Odin + iron man suit = easy kill lol
@titing2101: LoL garbage.
@thor_parker82: @titing2101: yo is there a difference between Fire Giants and Fire Demons or it's the same thing???
@thor_parker82: @titing2101: yo is there a difference between Fire Giants and Fire Demons or it's the same thing???
surtur and sindr are fire giants.
Got me curious on the fire demons and i've found that this is what they call the beings in MCU Muspelheim and in EMH.
Maybe the ones below surtur are fire demons? not sure

yeah, most likely true.
I guess Sindr is the replacement for Surtur.
Random thought but I'm guessing (even though I've not read a Thor comic in years) at the end of this story is when Thor somehow summons Mjolnir from the sun.
@haveatthee: Mjolnir is destroyed 100%.
It's return will probably be connected to time travel.
@andromeda101: Not that i know of. Aaron has completely changed and ignores how odin should be.
