First Image of Jay Garrick on CW's 'The Flash' Teased

During San Diego Comic Con, it was announced that Jay Garrick would be appearing in season two of The Flash, and he would be played by Teddy Sears. Today, the Twitter account for The Flash tweeted out this image of what Jay will look like on the show.

@w0nd: Yup, it was the first DC comic to use the Multiverse, it's because of this the JSA came back, and it all ultimately lead to DC's first Crisis event, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Sweet looks like they're going with classic Golden Age Garrick-Flash not E2 Flash.

First Why couldnt this flash be the one in the movies?

First: This Flash couldn't be in the movies because DC has chosen not to tie their tv and movie universes together. Instead, as Geoff Johns has stated, they are treating them more like different universes in a multiverse.

Second: No way to know for sure at this point but the end of last season most definitely indicated the existence of multiple earths and this is just further evidence that they are going that direction.
