How do you feel about Jon potentially replacing his father as Superman?

DC seems to be heading towards Superman dying with Jon potentially replacing him. How do you feel about it?

If is for a couple of stories and explaining in a good way why John is replacing him I don't have a problem.

Maybe John could be Superman in an alternate earth or even Clark himself.

A lot of possibilities, but NO DEATH (TIRED OF RESSURRECTION IN COMICS)

If they do it well then i am fine. I would prefer him to become his own hero and have his own name while Superman is still around though.

Big shoes to fill doubt they can pull it off.

If this fails, Jon will either be the one killed off or they'll deage him

I'm tired of classic characters getting replaced by successors and legacy holders because it's just a cheap ploy by companies to increase sales. I know how this thing goes: sales increase for a little bit, but then the allure of the event wears off and people just want the classic characters back.

Lets give it try

Jon's probably my favorite dc character at the moment so I don't mind the idea of him replacing his dad. But in all honesty it depends on the execution.
