Major SPOILERS for Star Wars The Force Awakens. If you haven't seen the movie TURN NOW! Unless you like spoilers. Anyways what was your reaction when Kylo killed Han? Those who have seen the movie will probably know what I'm talking about. If I was t making this on my phone I would've put it in spoiler block. I'll get to that as soon as I can.
What was your reaction when Kylo **?
Why would you say Major spoilers turn back now then proceed to tell nothing? Interesting
lol
Anyways, I liked him. He was one of my favorite parts of the film. However, they really need to explain why he's trying SO hard to be dark side.

@kgb725: lol i know i just didn't want to be attacked for spoiling the movie. Fixed it now.
I knew it when Leia told him something like
"Go and find our son, and bring him with you"
then the camera focused on Han´s face for a while
also when he said Chewie, we will meet here
you know something bad is going to happen
On hindsight I thought I should have expected Han's death.
When watching the movie I had a slight but genuine shock.
I was happy, cause I thought he was gonna kill Chewie the entire time. So losing Han was better than that at least.
Also it's a really cool/well acted moment.
That would suck! I would have balled my eyes out! Well that is kind of my reaction when Han died but thats not the point!
I knew it was going to happen as soon as Han walked up to Kylo tbh, still I wasn't ready for it.
That scene showed me though, the conviction Kylo has for his cause.....
I was spoiled a day before, so It did not hit me that hard.
damn spoilers...
The first time I saw it, I was generally sad. Like, I didn't expect it and I actually for one brief second thought Ben would go back with Han. But then he did it and at first the weight of the scene felt lost on me until Chewy roared in anger and shot Ben. That and when Ben yelled "Traitor" to Finn. It really hit me then and I was just interested in Ben's character and I wanted to see what had happened to make him like that and how he got to that point. I found this even more interesting because Ben isn't the standard, stoic Sith Lord which is fine, in fact it's a breath of fresh air. We get to see the character arc and development which will culminate in him being a Darth Vader like character. Overall, Kylo Ren/Ben Solo is my favorite character of the new ones introduced, though that is nothing against them, it's just I have a soft spot for this guy and I want to see more.
I read a number of the formerly expanded universe. I know the history of the Solo children. It was not unexpected.
I flipped out-- threw popcorn at the screen and shouted "BOO YOU SUCK".
Seriously?
@jonez120: There may have been more inappropriate words, but yes I did throw popcorn at the screen (well I tried anyway considering I was in the back row). :)
I was upset as hell
I was in the theater with my friends and when it happened I had my hands covering my face because I was so freaking surprised and my friends were like, "Look at Matt" and stuff because they know I love Han Solo and at the end of the movie I was telling them how they are always killing off my favorite characters because I love Darth Vader and all
It was a bad decision to kill Han really it just was

Whoa dude. Expert written all over.
It was spoiled for me at least 6 times prior to my first viewing, so I didn't really react at all, I didn't get a chance too.
I liked him. Although he seemed kinda whiny and he was stalled by a stormtrooper wielding a lightsaber and then beaten by a Jedi noob (despite the injury, I still call BS), he at least went through with killing Han, so I can't call him a complete waste of a villain. His back story also wasn't very good IMO, nor did it really explain his actions beyond "just go with it, we need a bad guy similar to Darth Vader." Nonetheless, I still liked him.
And I'm glad he killed Han BTW. Not because I hate Han, I actually love the character a lot, I'm just glad because Kylo switching sides so easily would've been pathetic for both the character, the scene, and the movie IMO. I'll miss Han, though, if he's really dead (pretty certain he is, but some people doubt it).
