Is Spider Man still a street leveler?

What the title says, is he still a street level character? (I always considered him to be a low mid tier character, but since most people believe he is Street, I'm using that)

I personally viewed him as a "Jack-of-All-Stats" low mid tier.

He's not the strongest, fastest, or smartest hero in the Marvel Universe, but Peter himself acknowledged how his combination of spider powers has got him through numerous fights with Marvel's own heavy hitters.

@blackspidey2099: In all seriousness, Spiderman is a street level 100% of the time unless he is on a mission like infinity war. Street Level really just means around where they operate, Spiderman is street level just like Nova is Cosmic level.

he has had a lot of solo stuff that affected the whole world. i equate street level with a character's power level.

Which I dont blame you for, and what you said is true but he is more on just city/street even more so. They should give a definite definition on the subject instead of people's different meanings of it tbh.

I'd place him as a sort of peak street level, a specimen for lower tiers who can punch above his weight.

If by street level you mean that is how he operates then yes. He is a street level character. If you mean power level, then no. He is low to med-tier and not street level.

He is as high as the street tier goes, but not above without extra gear. Some street levelers can still give him a huge run for his money or even beat him for a small majority. I don't think he has enough hax or destructive power to be called a mid tier UNLESS he is morals off.

It's a slippery slope. Marvel's street level characters tend to have more outlandish powersets or versatility. A character that can withstand being punched through multiple buildings, move tracks with a fingerflick and lift tanks while having precognition wouldn't be considered street level in the DCU where the peak is probably Deathstroke (or current Midnighter), for instance. By design, morals and modus operandi, Spidey is a street level guy at heart, though.

When was Spidey a street level character? He's a low mid, given his speed feats ( leaving afterimages with his attacks, keeping up with Mar-vell's top speed, who could dodge missiles and such easily)

That's not near the level of street level dudes like Daredevil or Wildcat, at least for me.

He honestly hasn't really been on since like the mid 90's; honestly to me he's sorta the gate keeper of the mid tier.

I mean it depends about what you think the limit of a street tier hero is and what a mid tier is.

Hes in that weird place of being high street and low mid. He can have a better fight with characters like deathstroke , black panther, etc then he would someone like The Thing or Carnage. Purley in physicals of course

He acts as a street leveler by choice, he helps the little guy other heroes are too busy to help. That says nothing about his power levels though, and if you look at his stats separately he is a low mid-tier, but they combine into one of the deadliest combinations in comics.

He has light speed reaction, has hypersonic movement speed (has outswing bullets), and possibly the best acrobat in all of comics. That combined with his spider sense leads to him having perhaps the fastest combat speed in marvel. Combat speed is very different than plain speed. So together that is solidly S tier

He is durable to tank an ICBM at point blank range and only be knocked unconscious. So a solid mid tier

He is also pretty strong, and by pretty strong I mean rip a building in half consistently strong. Thats solidly mid-tier. So together he is anywhere from low S tier to high mid tier.

Basically this. I think Spider-Man is just borderline not mid tier(at least if we don't use his millions of PIS feats) due to not being good enough in any of his physical categories. He's probably better than anyone with agility but agility alone doesn't make you a mid tier. His spider-sense is definitely his best asset.

High Street Tier, or Large Cityblock I guess. He got random upgrades and armour. He could be way higher like Reed Richards with his intellect but nobody does anything with that so... He would beat pretty much all the Street Tiers that I can name.
