Amazing Spider-Man 1 vs 2 games?

Which one is better and why?

the only good thing about 2 was carnage idk why but 2 looked worst then 1 ironic

Yeah 1 was better but both are pretty terrible to be honest

I preferred 1. The H2H combat in that game was so beautiful that I had to shed a tear lol

2 would have been perfect if they replicated 1 but with better swinging mechanics, and that's it

TAS2 is a glitchy mess with horseshit swinging mechanics and a pointless wanted system. And it's ugly af.

@g2_: The combat mechanics, story mode, and bosses make TASM 1 a little better than TASM 2 in my opinion. The only thing that TASM 2 did better than TASM 1 is web swinging (which still isn't even that good) and graphics

@g2_: Ehh that doesn't really matter that much to me because that's basically only for free roaming. That has no effect on story mode. Oh I forgot to mention, the arcade mode in TASM 2---when you go into the Comic Stan(d)---is actually SUPER fun. Gives you more to do once you finish the short story mode, and it's so satisfying to just style on the bad guys

I liked the first one better, Pete moved like a mixture of an mma fighter and a pro-wrestler.

In the second one he scuttles more if you understand what I mean. It looked cool in the movies but in a game it falls kinda flat, the arcade mode makes up for that and the addition of additional abilities and gadgets was pretty cool. TASM1 was a solid 8/10 Tasm2 is more like a 7/10. Not a bad game, just falls flat in a lot of areas.
