Clarice Michelle Pierce

In this universe, Clarice Michelle was never adopted by the Zeraz family. She instead grew up distant from her adoptive siblings Jonathan and Marissa Zeraz. This allowed Mathias and Evelyn Pierce, founders of the Humanity Now Institute to experiment on their only daughter's genetic irregularity. The discovery of her strange genetic makeup resulted in their deaths. This Clarice's powers were faith based. A call back to the Greek ancestors of the prime universe. The more people that believed in her the more power she had over public perception and her own perceived reality. Coupled with an uncanny telepathic prowess and cunning persuasive use of pheromones, this Clarice Michelle once used her position of power to get inside the White House.

Prime Universe Children: Lionel Zeraz and Sean Zeraz. The new universe never took a liking to kids.

Jonathan Zeraz

In the prime universe, Jonathan Zeraz was the young hero known as Thunderbolt. His unforeseen death brought the family together, but that isn't the case for this universe. The Jonathan of this Earth is the pillar of the Zeraz fortune. He's a former actor turned multimillionaire businessman. Who's particular investment in Dominus International has set the standard for what the country could become if it invested in the Grid. The Grid being the A.I. used in Valor City for security purposes.

Children: Alana Zeraz, Samantha Zeraz and Sabrina Zeraz

Marissa Sampson-Zeraz

Marissa's Doughnut and Pastry Shop is wildly known as the place to chill and chew whenever in Valor City. Even though she's the half-sibling of Jonathan, her place in the family is never questioned. A product of an infidelity, the culinary art major grew up criticized and often ostracized by the general public. She tried separating herself from the family by joining the military during the height of the Iraq War. It took two separate tours in Kuwait and Syria before Marissa returned to her family. She speaks about her feelings through music. Often singing to customers during Saturday's karaoke night at the shop. Marissa's relationship with her family has strengthened recently. Largely due in part of L.A.W. (Law Abiding Warriors), the independent security contractor that Jonathan hired to protect Dominus International's greatest investment: Valor City. She believes it's made the city safer since the initial Grimm attack.

Alana, Samantha, Sabrina Zeraz

Alana, Samantha and Sabrina Zeraz are a telepathic hive mind. Alana can erase memories, Samantha can create memories and Sabrina can heal a fractured psyche. As a hive mind, the Zeraz sisters can infiltrate any mind beyond individual telepathic suggestions. As the product of teen pregnancy, the girls acted as Jonathan's inspiration to leave Hollywood for the board room. They've acted as their father's guiding hand ever since. Their most challenging task was finding Brian Maddox Junior and creating the Newcastle heir. As the Zeraz family legacies, the triplets have acted as Brian's counsel. Their father's stock in Dominus International is dependent on Brian's ascent.

Annabelle Sera

Annabelle Sera left Portugal for the Americas centuries ago. She arrived with her parents, devout Christians who brought the word of Christ into this new land. Annabelle was a widow when she arrived. Her husband died during the voyage. A bit distracted if not completely disassociated from reality, Annabelle once mispronounced her last name to Cassius Grimm and was called Zeraz from that day on. She would meet and fall in love with Thomas Newcastle some time after her family's arrival. He would then pluck her from that point in time and bring her into the modern world. The rest of her story is riddled with a psyche break that made her unfit for motherhood.

Children: Brian Maddox/Newcastle/Zeraz?

Brian Newcastle

Brian is technically the direct ancestor of the entire modern Zeraz bloodline, but how that comes about is unknown. It's why Jonathan and his daughter's have done just about everything to prop the young man up. From organizing the fall of the Force to propelling him into the public eye as the symbol of Valor City. Brian's memories of his mom are few and far between. He's never investigated that part of his life, but the fact remains - he's family. And Valor City is his family's birthright.

Noah Addams

This isn't the same mentally troubled nephew the prime Clarice Michelle helped raise. Noah has no interest in finding closure, because Jonathan hasn't died. Meaning his mother, Cassandra Addams, has never told him the truth. This concerns the prime universe Clarice Michelle immensely, because that means he's still involved with the Future Conquerors. They're a society of ritualistic gangsters bond by the blood of their covenant. Maybe this universe is different. Maybe this Noah is safe if he's been allowed to live unaware of his parent's diabolical histories.

The Humanity Now Institute

Elias Zeraz started the Zeraz Group, a private intelligence agency devoted to collecting information on all types of people. During Reagan administration, the Zeraz Group invested in the Humanity Now Institute as a counterpoint to the president's ignorance to the HIV epidemic. The Humanity Now Institute would develop into a series of clinics across the country meant to assist those afflicted by the disease. Nowadays, it's become a the leading healthcare practitioner for American's afflicted by the mutant genome. The Humanity Now Institute, however, wasn't the first investment made by the Zeraz Group. Elias believed if he withheld the darkest secrets from those in power, he could manipulate them in helping him develop his idea of the perfect world.

In the late 1980's he started working with the Sampson family and their private military company known as L.A.W. Together they began apprehending mutant threats across the globe and returning them to the Humanity Now Institute. These criminals were dissected and studied with the intention of developing weapons that could combat these kind of threats in a more proficient manner. Many years after, Elias would pass before his dream could be realized. His last act before passing was buying stock in Animus Corporation and leaving Jonathan with a target to find. Brian Maddox Junior...the soon to be Newcastle heir.

The L.A.W.

After the fall of Grimm City, Brian Newcastle sold portions of his Animus Corporation stock to pay citizens a wage for helping reconstruct the city, but there wasn't enough money in the world to rebuild the newly anointed Valor City and restructure its police system in a matter of weeks.

That's why Brian in conjunction with the Mayor's office brokered a deal with the Samspon family. The private security company offered their services if they were allowed to remodel the few remaining Force stations in the city and establish "The L.A.W. (Law Abiding Warriors)" within Valor City as a sign of good faith in their efforts to protect and serve. The intention was to create the blueprint for what could become the premiere security force for the entire nation.

After 40% of the population died after Ada Guillaume's sarin gas attack, there are under 12,000 residents currently living in Valor City and only 250 known metahumans. As a result, the Humanity Now Institute's first attempts at using their metahuman tailored weaponry have begun. These type of weapons include:

• Peacemaker: Uses rounds smaller and lighter than the standard 5.56 mm firing solution used by a number of NATO countries. It grants increased ammunition storage per-magazine with no deficiencies on combat effectiveness. The firearm's rounds have much higher muzzle velocity and superior armor penetration compared to conventional ammunition. Instead of conventional rounds like bullets, this firearm uses fin-stabilized hyper sonic darts. With a short barrel, this firearm is best equipped for close-range fire and has a cyclic rate of 900 rounds per minute with a magazine size of 40 and a maximum ammunition of 160.

• Heavyweight: A large shoulder-mounted weapon, the laser cannon is a directed-energy weapon designed to overcome meta humans of significant durability. It generates an initial targeting laser for aim assistance, and following a two second waiting period, the main high-powered laser is fired, hitting the target with a train of short light pulses that cause quick evaporation and expansion of the target surface to generate explosive shock-waves that cause severe damage.

• Microwave: Emits microwave beams that quickly heat the bodily fluids and fat molecules beneath a target's skin. The microwave beam gun can be adjusted to achieve any number of effects ranging from using microwave beams to boil a target from the inside, light flammable objects on fire via continued exposure, and explode sealed objects that contain liquid by increasing the internal pressure by creating steam from the boiling liquids.

• The Stake: Fully automatic, a magazine-fed weapon that uses magnetic fields to hyper-accelerate its' rounds to high velocities. It's ammunition consists of metal rounds that are superheated and elongated into metal spikes. Furthermore, two large tungsten carbide blades are mounted under the gun's barrel to be used for quick melee sequences should a target close the distance. The rounds are fed into the gun by a small drum magazine with a 40 round capacity. It has a maximum ammunition of 320 rounds, a rate of fire of 480 rounds per minute, a muzzle velocity of 76.2 miles per second, and a maximum range of 40 meters.

First A.I.D. Labs

First A.I.D. Labs are a series of sophisticated, state of the art facilities lead by the world's brightest minds. The construction was made possible by Dominus International's majority stock holder, Brian Newcastle, with the intention of creating a stronger, smarter and more adept world.

Each of the First A.I.D. Labs' facilities has a division dedicated to an area of expertise meant to further individual studies. These include mutant biology, the existence of magic, as well as alien technology.

First A.I.D Labs is situated by the Honor Valley River, across the street from Valor City's Children Hospital. As a beacon of intellectual evolution and prosperity, First A.I.D. Labs acts as a boost in morale and economic growth for the city after a heinous attack from criminal meta humans nearly crippled the community.
