@max_morana: Pretty sure it's biologically wired into all nerds to pick at PIS obsessively no matter what.
Writing Confessions
@salvadore: He's pretty great.
@salvadore: He's pretty great.
He is, on one hand he's hilarious, and on the other he's a certified badass. Taking on Drogon during the Dothraki ambush showed that. Plus, he isn't as evil as he portrays himself to be.
Some anime fans irk me to death.
Yet another thing I never got into.
With the exception of Pokémon and Digimon, there is really nothing.
Oh. My. Goodness. I'm gonna make you a fan because you're missing out on so so much.
And I love your av.
Hermione GIF's are the funniest, and don't drag me into an anime if it doesn't involve people beating the sh!t out of each other!
And thanks, though you have Impero to thank for that, he did it first!
If you guys only knew the amount of times I’ve stopped Sha from bringing apocalyptic chaos to CV you all would be crying with thankfulness and name a day of the week after me. You’re welcome.
@rosso: If you haven't already seen it, I think you would like "A Monster Calls."
@aurelio_silvera: Anything involving Emma Watson is absolutely magical.
And I'm gonna start by suggesting DBZ. It's the ultimate beat 'em up anime. If you've seen it already and didn't like it, let's just say we'll have some PROBLEMS. Then there's Naruto, FMA [Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood]. Actually, there are two of them, but Brotherhood follows the source material more than the original and it's seen as better. Kill la Kill, Akame ga Kill, Code Geass, Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, Black Lagoon, Hellsing Ultimate, Neon Genesis Evangelion. That's just off the top of my head.
@mister_surreal: What's it about?
@belrose: I can make you the Gif without any watermarks if you wanted, or I could just crop it!
@max_morana: I suppose you know which one I'm talking about, and I would fully appreciate it if you did! Rather than cropping it from top to bottom (if you did, you'd be cropping out half of his head), you could try cropping it from side-to-side?
@salvadore: Could you point out which Gif you're referring to? lol
@max_morana: The one GIF I used for this post.
@mister_surreal: What's it about?
Without straight up spoiling the plot, the movie revolves around the themes of weathering scenarios full of stress, depression, fear anxiety, anger and powerlessness, but from the perspective of a child's experience with such things. Using one's imagination to learn various life lessons that can be rather cathartic in said scenarios, as well as aiding in the coping and accepting of depressing, albeit, inevitable outcomes.
I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with grief or just the fear of losing a loved one. And I may just be soft, but it had me balling my eyes out in the end, even though I was fine that day.
The character known as Shadowhawk would have made a great alternative look for Hawkshade, IMO. I almost used Shadowhawk for Reaver's alternative look when he stopped being Reaver.
I still remember how disappointed I was with Battle of the Five Armies... At least that isn't the chronological end of the series.
I've always tried getting into those, but I have no idea where to watch them!
@mockingjay: I love Skylar
@salvadore: I'll shape it up when I have a sec ^_^
@nemesis_liafador: She's low-key legendary.
I've always tried getting into those, but I have no idea where to watch them!
Hulu, Netflix, Funimation, Crunchyroll if we're talking streaming services and not the free sites.
@mockingjay: 100% agree. She's phenomenally talented. it's a shame that her penning of Love the Way You Lie wasn't able to skyrocket her.
Wait shit, that's her as Holly Brook on "Where'd You Go" by Fort Minor. She's been iconic for decades.
@nemesis_liafador: She is. Even her rapping is entertaining. xD
it's a shame that her penning of Love the Way You Lie wasn't able to skyrocket her.
Yeah that and her vocals for Coming Home and I Need A Doctor, which are memorable songs especially Coming Home. That song got so much exposure to the point I forced myself to like it until it just came naturally. I don't know why she never took off because everything that makes an artist great Skylar had/have it.
@nemesis_liafador: @mockingjay: I've never loved either of you as much as before now.
@mockingjay: Yeah she's an iconic writer/backer who never achieved solitary A-list pop(?) status and it's a shame b/c she's phenomenally talented. sometimes it's just the time that somebody hits, or a single bad song/feature and the career is tanked. She's doing fine b/c she'll be getting writing royalties until the cows come home but I'd love to see more mainstream projects that hit higher popularity from her.
This is also how I felt about Bebe Rexha for a long time (she penned the original version of The Monster) until she hit major pop status in the last few years.
@rosso: I couldn't remember if your love of Skylar was a fever dream or not or I would have tagged you in.
