Walk-On Banter Thread (IC)

For the Verbal Judo Masters of CV

Similar in essence to the What Does Your Character Think thread, but devoted entirely to ABA-style pre-fight banter similar to what you'd find in just about every 2-dimensional fighting game. Challenge other users to beat your opening, exchange some witty back-and-forth, or just practice writing on-the-fly dialogue. Each post should be made with a specific user in mind, as though your character is about to one-v-one theirs. How good are your walk-on banter skills?

"ABA Style"

What this means is that person A goes, then person B retorts, and person A concludes the "micro interaction." These shouldn't really extend beyond three posts each, to preserve the style of the thread. It's not just an insult fest; it's structured for in-the-moment banter, ideally with comebacks happening under a minute. Sample:

Person A posts, tagging another user and starting with an IC statement

Person B retorts somehow

Person A retorts and concludes the interaction

Remember, it's all IC, or from your character's perspective, and non-canon, of course. Be sure to tag the person you're going after, or they might miss it.
