@The Dark Huntress: Sure. That's one option. Corpses are easy. No brain function. And who knows what I'd do with a body like this. Or you could take the smarter of two paths and come play tour guide.

Dmitri wanted to stay desperately. But he sees Cass happier with Donnie than she could ever be with him. It twists him up inside, so he wants to relive the life he had on Symaar. Even if it was for just one last time.
Anything but. He doesn't want to be a burden on the family, being a planet-destroying madman and all. He's just going to drift quietly through space now.
@The Dark Huntress:He grabbed the wooden handle again, this time finding it far easier to pull. A door frame was visible now. While not particularly intricate, carved in to it were the girls initials in italic letters. No matter how many times I do this, it always feels like the Matrix.
Sure he's going to try and rebuild Symaar. But remember Emerald Twilight? What he's going to do is find out the hard way that what he creates is just a very complicated light construct.
Not only that, but he's going to trick himself into thinking that he's not worthy of Cass's attention after leaving so abruptly and finding that what he left her and Vis Vires for was a farce. That's why he's going to drift peacefully through space, reliving the memories forever and ever. Like he said, it's just going to be him and his lantern when time ends.
Then that is her path to choose. As far as I'm concerned, the character of Warsman is fleshed out in his entirety. I have nothing more to contribute to him.
Hopefully, I don't leave. I have a tough year ahead of me along with college the next year. Maybe I can find some time between schoolwork to pay a visit. If worse comes to worse, it's at least a five-year wait.

Cradles his lantern like a lifeline and walks around looking for signs of paranormal activity he saw in "Poltergeist." He even turns around periodically, a panicked and slightly crazed look in his eyes.
@Warsman:He'd seen this kind of behavior before, in drug addicts. Rampant paranoia. Possible aggression. That lantern was a bad thing That thing? No chance.
@Warsman: Don't need it. Because I've got something better. ;D Suddenly feels incredibly uncomfortable. He couldn't actually do anything to him, could he?
