Biography: Vanette was born to a village which was dedicated to the containment of Valeria, a shadow nymph of long ago. Whatever the Servants of Sol once were, it didn’t really matter. Now they were little more than fanatics. Fanatics, with far too much knowledge. The Servants of Sol are an unusually technologically advanced group but, being little more then a few small groups, cannot put that to use very often without revealing who they are. Vanette like all of them was indoctrinated in their ways. This cult considers its sole purpose to be to stop Valeria and Iullius from ever ruling and to do that, they kept Valeria contained. However as they had grown to the assumption she would never escape and neither would Iullius, they had also ventured into other areas in order to keep utilizing and finding weapons to use against them should that be the case. So they did whatever was necessary without gifting their technology to others. And that turned out to end up being about assassinations, bodyguards, or even aiding in high stakes robberies and other criminal undergoings. Servants of the god of the sun, worked mostly in the shadows. And to them, this was all justified by that they had to keep Valeria imprisoned and take her down if she were to escape.

Vanette was meant to be a part of disciple hunters, who were meant to track down and capture Valeria if the occasion arose, and those skills translated well into the criminal underground. And as a utilizer of some of their weaponry.

She would not get to be one of the foundations of that groups finances for long. For Volokov would come through, destroying whoever stood in his path in order to release Valeria upon being hired by their descendent. In a desire for revenge and in fulfillment of the duty, Vanette plans to try and take down Iullius and Valeria, or at the very least, capture Valeria as they had once done. And emplace her once again within the cage of light.

Armor:

Anti-Shadow: The armor produces light within, and some without across itself, causing it to have no shadow and also allowing it to avoid detection of Valeria through normal means. This can be turned off but is generally not.

Headpiece: The headpiece utilizes an unusual type of technology which grants the user immunity to telepathic/empathic attacks as a side effect of being built to resist Valeria’s ability to become what someone wants or fears. Instead of a visor, it utilizes sensors for most of its detecting abilities offering high-definition vision which can scope in, and utilize night vision or thermal vision. This latter part is especially in order to detect Valeria in a crowd as she tends to be much cooler then most people are. It has mirrors near slits in the helmet just in case the source of power runs out, allowing the user to continue to see without removing the helmet if they flip them.

Rebreather: The helmet is fitted with a rebreather which can transform most gases and even liquids to permit breathing in even the most dangerous of conditions. It can be hooked up to a full on oxygen tank, but this is generally avoided due to extra weight.

Radiation projectors: The hands of the suit are equipped with machines which can project varying types of radiation but with focus on that of visible light. As well as ones on the shoulders and face piece. These can be very high powered and are used to prevent Valeria from escaping should she be found. However they can also be used offensively generating intense heat beams up to nine yards away and are especially useful in close combat, particularly against Valeria.

Additionally, the suit is automatically equipped with four grenades using the same science which last up to four seconds.

Power source: The suit runs on two power sources on its shoulders and back which can store and run vast stores of it. Charging it can take awhile and a lot of energy but it also can last for days on end.

Environmental Resistances: The suit is built to survive a variety of environments but especially has a high resistance to temperatures, radiation (especially since it is designed to be able to produce it, this was a necessity), and is sealed from gases and liquids.

Durability: While there was little expectation that Valeria could pack a heavy hit, if they ran into Iullius they knew they needed at least a little bit of durability to survive a hit or two. And it would aid if they ever used it against others. As a result the armor is designed to handle firearms fairly easily, and is built with a type of exo-skeleton formation which stiffens when it has been seriously hit or when activated, which allows the impact to be spread across the entire body making it so they can take rather serious hits and are mostly just in danger by Inertia.

Exo-skeleton: The armor utilizes an powered exo-skeleton which reacts to the users internal movements allowing them to move with very superhuman speed and strength enough to break through stone easily, and cause dents in most metals (though it would require a weapon to get through most in combative application)

The Sword: The swords used by the Disciple Hunters are extremely durable and sharp using secretive methods in metal hardening and alloys. This allows the sword to stand up to being stabbed into pure titanium repeatedly and then pulled to the side. While fairly stiff, it can still bend. And it is very hard to actually dull the weapon. It has a blade as sharp as an obsidian knife, splitting easily rather then actually tearing into a target.
