We are each granted the ability to shape our own destiny. It is how we use that ability that defines us and others around us - The Professor.
Sitting. Sitting alone. Sitting alone and watching that is and will ever be. That was all the great Professor was doing on top of his TARDIS, a red phone booth. He sat there meditating. It was so peaceful, and he sat their like he was in a perfect trance. He stood at the very edge of space-time for this universe, watching as life went on for the people of Earth through his closed eyes. Celebrations, conquest, friendships, betrayals, heroes, and villains were all happening before his very eyes if they were open, but he just sat there, contemplating as to what to do next. The energies of the universe flowed into and around him pulling him into a deeper trance. The Professor had fought threats so big and grave, all with a smile and his wits about him. He was the bringer of darkness and hope. He had traveled farther than anyone else had, and he had seen the beginning of creation, and understood its meaning. All such were the achievements of the man without a name, the traveler of the stars, the man who stood the test of time.
Everything was still. Oh, so still and yet it flowed with power and beauty like none other.
Then, he was called forth once more into the fray.
His watch that was connected to the TARDIS’s main computer, the computer that analysed all of time, space, and other dimensions. It warned him of catastrophes that were yet to happen. The Professor was the preventer of catastrophe.
The watch beeped.
And The Professor then opened his eyes.
Looks like my vacation is over.
He stood, placing his hands into his pockets and gave the flowing stream of time and space one last look, and jumped down the outer force field of the TARDIS protecting him from falling into space, and at last he stepped into the TARDIS. It was in all of its wondrous glory. The control panel was a bit of a flimsy mess of levers, buttons, wires, nodes, and a retro computer, but he loved it like a creator loving his first invention.
And he flipped those levers, pushed those buttons, and turn the nodes. He then typed the coordinates of his destination, and off he went. His destination unknown even to him, he liked to be surprised.
VWORP! VWORRP! VVOOORRRRRPPP!
Those were the noises emanating from the red phone booth as it suddenly materialized into thin air. The Professor stepped out, bringing his overcoat with him, and stood outside examining his surroundings. He was in the medieval times of Earth, judging by the dirt paths, and wood and stone homes that dominated where he was. He also saw a huge river cutting around the kingdom, a natural border of the kingdom. He then looked at his watch, being careful not show holograms to the commoners, and realized he was in Thoreau, one of the medieval kingdoms of this dimension's timeline. But why was he brought here? He decided to look into his watch one more time, and saw that he was brought here to….help fight a war? He decided to look into all of the information his watch had to offer. If he was going to fight, he better fight for a good reason.
He saw that seven kingdoms were built from seven queens who gave birth to dragons, and one of the queens had attacked another kingdom out of greed for power. That queen was Agatha, and she ruled Quatar. The Professor then understood why he might have to fight as the watch pointed out. Her kingdom was trying to conquer the others. He was in Thoreau, because its queen, Hannah, seems to be at the center of the conflict in some way. This information was retrieved from document that recorded the war, although the documents were in flux because time was in flux now, but they had the same theme. War between kingdoms.
So, basically, I might have to fight in a war between kingdoms with dragon. since one of them got greedy and attacked another. Over my dead body will there be a war. And I hate having to deal with dragons, tough bunch. Ugh. So, how do I help?
Looking about he was trying to see how he could help. He stood looking about when he found a castle that must have obviously belonged to the queen. He patted his TARDIS, locked it with his keys, and off he went. He ran forth through the crowds, and had finally reached the great, majestic castle that dominated the kingdom. At the front gate were several guards, he could pass them easily.
Swaggering over as he usually did, he had confidence in his plan. He pulled out his psychic paper, which would show the guards what The Professor wanted them to see. His watch functioned as a translator, so his words would be heard in the dialect they all spoke in, and, in turn, the words they spoke would be translated into the languages The Professor knew.
“The Professor, on official business with her majesty, Hannah, queen of Thoreau. I have urgent matters to discuss with her.”
The Professor resisted the urge to smile. The guards would see that he had the documentation to enter on the psychic paper, and should let them through. The only problem might be that they might not know what the word ‘Professor’ means and might get confused and suspicious of him. Other than that, he should be easily escorted to Queen Hannah.
