"There is no stopping the Phalanx. Their legions might be defeated in cataclysmic wars, but in the presence of their lords such a thing becomes nearly impossible. Once the Master of the Phalanx ascends to a reality, however, any hope of victory perishes in an instant. I have seen his power. The truth of inevitability is all I have left."

Zer'gar'nuul, Lord of the Rageheart Clan

Promises of power, of omnipotence, form the first extension of communion with the Phalanx. Often, entire worlds crumble once gifted with unnatural strength and energy, unholy blood coursing through the veins of populations turned into crazed killing machines. However, if there is resistance to be found, the full might of the Phalanx will not hesitate to make itself known.

A cruel melding of science, magic, organic life, and technology has made the Phalanx supremely powerful. Telepathic brood lords command massive Obliterator platforms designed to pummel cityscapes into submission. Hulking beasts mutated from the livestock of genetic cesspools lumber into formation, experiments perfected through generations of tortured alien life. Then, the demonic legions proper - the extensions of their Lord and Master Warsman's will. Every inkling of their being dedicated to the hatred he himself feels at all times, the palpable scorn for all conscious thought that does not owe allegiance to him.

Fel battleships carved from the very essence of extinguished stars bring forth apocalyptic salvos, heralding the arrival of one or several of the dreaded Hate-Forges. Behemoth structures built from dozens of planets at once, made into horrifying superweapons each with a singular purpose: to decimate all before them. Nature crumbles at the touch of the Phalanx. The arcane shimmers and dies.

Though, the weapons against the Phalanx are just as myriad as their own ranks. Regardless of how hopeless a situation seems against them, significant resistance movements have been made against the fel legions. If the Phalanx is unable to summon Warsman to a reality, the grinding warfare becomes tedious and ruinous indeed for any potential gain to be had. Given time, and preparation, hope can be fostered into a deadly weapon against the Phalanx.

For hope is all there is to stand behind when all lights die out.
