@dr_higgs: Not necessarily. It'd just be a technically different version of Niel Emerson from the one in the CVnU, if you've already started writing him there.

@dr_higgs: People mostly RP with others specifically, rather than choosing specific places to locate themselves. You could make your own location thread within any IRL city and people would probably find a way to make contact with you of their own accord. It's a really active universe, so someone would probably drop by if they were given an IC reason to do so.

@paragonxxx: come by the sanitarium in gothic then ;) I'll be there waiting. Though I doubt how someone with "nigh-invulnerability" in her resume would need a doctor.

New to role-playing and want to do something with metas on the streets. I'm good for anything be it fighting or social stuff.

@cassius_ryder: If you're looking for street-level stuff, this has been a fairly popular thread, over the years. The only caveat is that there is a power cap, to maintain the street-level vibe. Tell me a bit about your character, their goals and such. :)

@nordok: Thank you for the suggestion. My character is just a guy who feels no pain with stats akin to Captain America. He is a twenty something dude who was orphaned(I know a little cliche, but it just makes it easier for me) who grew up on the streets and then started doing jobs for anyone willing to play. Over the years he's learned how to fight quite well and often utilizes a katanna he has. He has a cool exterior who's warm to people he's close to. On the job he can be quite brutal although he hates to kill, harm innocents, or use guns. In terms of goals he just wants to make rent.

@cassius_ryder: That honestly does sound like it would fit the Gothic City vibe. It has a lot of vigilantes, both reluctant and otherwise. And there's nothing wrong with a cliche that works; no sense reinventing the wheel, right?

Hey there! It's a good idea to check out this thread for the basic outline. Welcome to the section.

@cassius_ryder: Generally, what I advise people to do is read some posts in the thread you're looking to start in, to get an idea of the kinds of activity that goes on, there. You can throw up a post and just see if anyone responds, or if you notice someone who you think you'd like to write with, you can always ask if they'd be willing to do an interaction. People are generally pretty friendly in this section and can often help you get a feel for what works.
