"Horizon, You know what? - Skip those safety measures I don't like them and put my Mark Five and Four in the containment storage units, I'm going back to classics for a while...Mark Three Plus is going to be my suit again..." Stark sighed heavily, the recent weeks had nearly been harder than losing his parents....at-least then the whole world were not breathing down his spine wanting him dead, people forgot he was actually a human, more than a suit "Horizon, Don't you even try and tell me that is not a good idea dammit, you know I don't care anymore - You know....I am safe --" Before he could continue Horizon had interjected,
Horizon - "Sir, An urgent call from the NATO division requesting a your personal presence in the Sahara desert - More information will come soon"
"Okay, Fire up the Mark Three let's get ready to boogie old friend, When was the last time I actually went on a peacekeeping mission? I don't even remember the last time the Enforcers actually helped anyone conventionally.." Stark rubbed his hands together as his underlying metal came out of the pours in his skin, now for the actual suit.
"Horizon - Let's try the new way of suiting up....you know, the one we thought would end up killing me?"
He chuckled vibrantly to his AI, ironic the only true friend who never judged him once, was a machine. Springing into the air using his impressive jumping skill due to the Peak serum his armor attacked him from all sides, smashing into his arms, legs and chest as it attached itself onto his body. Finally, performing a mid-air cartwheel simultaneously as his mask flew into his face the technological innovator landed in his iconic pose he used to do for crowds back in his expo days...Standing back up with a happy nod he spoke to Horizon "See, No broken bones"
10 minutes later - Above the desert
The clouds were forcefully pushed to the sides while Stark blasted through them accompanied by a sonic boom a second after, Accelerating yet again as his suit performed at near 80% of its safety capacity Peak was now at over triple the speed of sound without any signs of stopping. Previously dismissing the safety measures meant the suit could perform far better than usual but at a great risk, this risk meant it could and did routinely malfunction without its safety mode. Stark was almost using his time on earth now as one giant dare devil type thing, life was not meant to be lived in safety mode. As usual though, Horizon disagreed.
Horizon - "Sir...Why do you insist on removing the safety features THEN insist on going beyond what the suit was made for?...I cannot compute such nonsensical behavior" Start checked the visual data with his HUD before responding to his ingenious AI.
"Okay Horizon I understand! This is the 6th time in the last 10 minutes you have asked me that, clear your cache or defragment something you are stuck on a loop!" Only Stark - ONLY Stark was able to continually piss of an AI to the point it literally broke its programming and stopped talking to the master, indeed this happened again as Horizon did not respond as it should have. "See Horizon, All's well ends well" Flying over the desert he began to encircle the terrorist military camp that he was supposedly meant to destroy. Landing downwards at incomprehensible speeds he shot to the ground, faster than any radar or human eye would have ever visualized..
