The CV OOC

This rpg is a mixture between Smallville and the OC. Were teenagers who go to school in a small town by the coast and one day some of us are given superpowers. How will we deal with the new powers that we find ourselves gifted with. For good, or evil. In this you dont play as your vine character, just an 18 year old (or there abouts) high school student in a small west coast town. We are given powers by a shower of meteors from another galaxy and from that point on we make our own stories.

Yeah so thats the basic idea. The main thread will be up in a few hours.

Not sure yet, would have to think on it and see how we go about getting the powers.

I was thinking that we could have a meteor shower that would grant us our powers. That way it would explain why so many people in the same place suddenly became superhuman. How about one of the meteors cracked open and the symbiote came out?

I dunno. The way I saw it this would take place in a world where people didn't have superpowers, to make the events that occur seem even more sensational and prevent specialist technology from neutralizing peoples powers. But hit me with your idea over pms

I think I have an idea for a character named James Carter. He's a senior who has no social life then when the meteor strom hits the school, he becomes popular because he is one of the only kids who don't have a power or symbiote, but he really has both.

It would be interesting if someone made an Emo character lol. I think my person will just be the not so popular guy, but is happy with his close friends. Maybe a bit of Peter Parker and Jaime Reyes in the mix.

Thats a very good idea...i applaud!

Just a note as well. No reality changing powers and no random powers. You cant do stuff like shoot laser out of your eyes and have a really good healing factor. Your powers should have a theme to them.

Can't wait to start this thing up. I have a feeling I'm going to come into contact with the wrong person, and get seduced by the darkside. LOL
