“You’re not going to lose me.” She whispered, crouching down so that she would be at his eye level. “I’ve survived worse than her, I’ll be fine.” Her hands were still grasped onto his own, his grasp was strong, but she could feel the tremble from the pain. The Knightfall’s heart ached, she wanted to make him better right now. But the healing gel she was working on was still very much in the prototype phase. She was going to have to bring come of the infusions over to the Cave tomorrow. “But, I promise to be careful. I won’t do anything to endanger my staff or my patient’s. OR myself.”
If there was one thing she learned about the Knightfalls of this world, they were not the most trustworthy group of people. So for this woman to already distrust Ashley, wouldn’t be stretching it. A majority of the Knightfalls of this time were only influenced by self-interest and power. It was something she was trying to reverse in the Nightfall image. Because of this, she needed to make sure nothing was going to cause suspicion of this were to work. Bringing Kellan to the Catholicon (even disguised) would draw unwanted attention, no matter how careful the two were. Treating him here at the Cave was going to be the best bet. She gave a nod of her head, agreeing with him about the Catholicon. “I’ll do what I can with the supplies we have here, but tomorrow, I’ll be sure to bring over some cytokines and begin treatment.” She then stood back up, still holding onto his hand. “Train me?” She gave a half smile. “Well, alright, that’ll be… fun.”
“Now.” She released his hand as she positioned herself behind him, wrapping her arm around his torso and under his arms to give him support. “Let’s get you to the med-bay. I don’t like seeing you like this.” The Knightfall Saint would assist him to the med-bay even if he would attempt to oppose. She was on a mission, and that was to fix her love.
