The 3rd Society
The blue prints of the 3rd Society were created long before The Matriarch Zedora and Aphasic came into being. During the early 1960’s, a group of Europe’s most prestigious families joined together to create a contingency plan to thwart the possibility of another world war. The undisclosed members of this cabal, sought to neutralize specific aggressive countries before they could reach the height of Nazi Germany. The initial schematics saw the satellite being constructed with rudimentary artificial intelligence.
With both the U.S and Russia’s success in space, the Cabal created the schematics for an attack Satellite called Valkyrie. The goal was to arm the satellite with nuclear capabilities to decimate a ruthless country negating another world war. Shortly after 1970, the Cabal had disbanded along with anymore talk of an attack satellite. Around the early 1990’s Sabella Liafador found schematics for the satellite in her family’s home in Malaga, Spain. Convincing her husband Ramon to follow through, the Liafador Patriarch constructed the satellite, but augmented the programming so that the satellite actually began to serve as a surveillance device.
Ramon hoped this would allow him to blackmail important world officials, which would eventually lead him to the head of Spain. The scientist at H.I.V.E equipped the massive satellite with what they thought were a protective energy field to protect from space’s harsh environment, but they actually equipped the machine with the Reapers drives that generate an electromagnetic field, waves of infrasound and ultrasound, or both in order to stimulate areas of a victim's brain and limbic system. Because of this both Sabella and Ramon Liafador were “Indoctrinated” along with the many workers of HIVE, before they launched it into space.
Under orders of the machine now, Sabella and Ramon were instructed to execute a series of events involving their own children, one of which was the mental manipulation of Ziccarra and Kane Liafador, as well as the creation of the Matriarch Zedora.
Project Flamethrower.
Project Flamethrower was a contingency plan adopted by Ramon and Sabella Liafador. The project is a series of protocols that would be initiated in the event that Ziccarra wasn’t receptive to the indoctrination process. The combining of organic DNA with a synthetic processor for a mind, birthed project XD002; also known as the Matriarch Zedora. The Intricate of her genetics were the exact reverse of Ziccarra’s. The grace poise and, mercy usually characteristics for the Cardinal Queen; fall thin on the Brutal Matriarch. Following the deaths of Sabella and Ramon Liafador, Project Flamethrower was activated by Kane Liafador; upon Ziccarra taking on the title of “Cardinal Goddess”.
Zedora (Codename: The Matriarch) was handed the position of C.E.O of H.I.V.E a Research and Development branch of Liafador International that "closed" years after the birth of Ziccarra. Zedora’s main objective was to research and develop the newest advancements in human modifications; a task she has done exceptionally well in.Zedora has the ability to transform into anybody, a skill she’s only used to emulate Ziccarra.
The Synthetic Cell Network The SCN project was developed by scientist deep within H.I.V.E with the Manifest of the Matriarch, to begin mass production of artificial intelligence networks. These networks correspond with the Valkyrie satetillite commands. With the SCN Network established, The Matriarch approved tons of restricted development of Androids, clones and other questionable test. Because of her connection with the SCN the Matriarch has up to date files on everyone Ziccarra, and Kane Liafador has ever interacted with.
H.I.V.E is not known to exist, all of its documented research and development died with Ramon Liafador. This hidden organization is alive; and is run completely by VI’s and AI’s created by the Matriarch. The Virtual Intelligence modules running H.I.V.E are completely unaware of their being; they were created to alleviate the use of complex protocols. H.I.V.E intends to use the VI’s to hack major terminals; this would sync said machines with the SCN rendering them under H.I.V.E control. The AI's or Artificial Intelligence is completely aware of the world around them; however they aren't known to feel or express emotions.
The AI's are H.I.V.E's more lethal use of force because they aren't hindered by emotion. Unlike the VI's the AI all share information gathered from the SCN, making it damn near impossible for another A.I to be kept out of the loop. Indoctrination is the process of taking an organic being, and fusing his mind with that of a machine; the new mind remembers the thoughts and memories of the older self, and can actually feel.
The power of the SCN is so strong that the indoctrinated person cannot act out of programming; this is often used as a form of torture. In recent years, the techno-phallic organization has systematically placed several sleeper agents into high rankings spots throughout society. Because of the large focus on mutants vs. humans, the machine populace tends to go unnoticed. The largely untraceable organization now includes private intelligence agencies, laboratories, research facilities, and the lucrative corporations that provide a front for it all.
Hive consist of multiple splinter cells, this is a fail-safe in case any one cell is compromised. An operative who reports directly to the Zedora leads each cell. HIVE operates many kinds of cells, ranging from military to political to scientific, but all united under the common goal of advancing technological prowess. Each member of HIVE is created (Or indoctrinated) to put the flow of information before there own health. The SCN and Zedora are directly connected with one another, if a person succumbs to indoctrination; it is because Zedora has deemed it.
The Society Dreadnaught
The 3rd Society Dreadnaught is a massive machine that towers above many city skylines. These massive machines have been constructed inside secret HIVE facilities across the globe. These machines have the ability to FTL travel, which has proven to be a valuable resource in society plans, as they have used it to span the cosmos. The dreadnaughts have the ability to decimate entire city blocks with powerful laser fire. Because they operate on the same central network as Zedora, The Matriarch has the ability to directly influence any dreadnaught in her vicinity.
The Society Husk
The Husk are the ground force of the 3rd Society, and are typically used in conjunction with a dreadnaught. Husk aren’t a renewable resource, they have to be created upon capturing an organic species (Mostly Human, though there are alien husk). Because of this, the 3rd Society attack whole cities harvesting humans to replenish its husk supply. Because the dreadnaughts have achieved FTL travel, the Society no longer needs to limit itself to just Earth. Despite being incredibly weak, the husk get stronger and far more strategic when attacking in hordes. This is because their neural stimulation allows them to think as one singular entity.
Society Generals
Though most aren’t quite sure how, it appears as if the 3rd Society has members stretched throughout the multiverse. Though it’s just a theory (For Catalina anyway), it’s believed they gained this ability when they captured Maya Liafador as a child.
Matron is the main general of the society in the power ranger universe, though how she became a general is currently unknown; she has been credited with conquering an entire sector of space through use of her husk. She has shown no link to Zedora or HIVE, but she does have the ability to indoctrinate like Zedora. Matron's goals are currently unknown.

Thomas Animus is one of the most valuable members of the 3rd Society, known to be an information and tech god; he represents 1/3rd of the true 3rd Society. His influence has awarded the society with mass indoctrination tools such as the Nano-Swarm and Spore Cloud, as well as enhancing the societies own information cache. Despite being one of the most influential members, Animus is NOT indoctrinated by Zedora and acts on his own accord, because of this they often butt heads and clash during the creative process. Animus being somewhat organic, never wanted to destroy organics, rather to control them.

Zedora is the Matriarch of the 3rd Society; she commands every fiber of the machine empire (Though Autocrat and Animus also have significant control). She is typically seen as a brunette, but Zedora truest form is a blonde—leaving many to believe she had an identity before being created. Zedora also bears the last name Liafador, which suggest she once belonged to the family. Zedora is the living incarnate of Valkyrie, she receives all her commands from the computer and executes. Initially Zedora’s goal was to completely eradicate all of organics, now thanks to Animus and Autocrat; she seeks to integrate machines into society and process the energy needed to create human/machine synthesis. Because she is an android, Zedora still has ties to her human side, which often causes her to develop feelings for Autocrat and at one time Animus.

Autocrat is the final member of the 3rd Society, and is credited with the initial indoctrination of the Andres and Jayden Knightfall husk. Autocrat allowed himself to be indoctrinated by Zedora so that they may understand each other better. Like Zedora, Autocrat initially wanted to bring about the destruction of organics, but then sought to use his powers to control them. After becoming the 1st truly synthesized being; Autocrats goals are to create an entire society of “awakened beings”.

Maya Liafador accidentally allowed her warping powers to get the best of her, in it she pulled Sha, Maya Lopez (Summers), Feral Nova and Azure Son to a “Shattered Dimension” in the dimension both Sha and Maya served as 3rd Society pawns under an indoctrinated Addison Hopewell. Sha’s indoctrination eventually ended, after Leonel defeated Addison.

Like Sha, Maya Summers the creator of Reality-M was pulled into Maya Liafador’s shattered dimension and forced to combat Feral Nova of the Prime Universe and Azure Son of M. Maya’s indoctrination was broke when Addison Hopewell was defeated by Leonel.

Addison fought alongside Leonel and the freedom fighters in the Reality –M war. Having been gravely injured she was captured by the society forces and indoctrinated. During Maya Liafador’s shattered dimension fiasco, Addison tried to use both Feral Nova and Leonel as a way to gain access to the CVNU to further society plans. After being defeated by Leonel, Addison was made an exemplar.

Though not indoctrinated, Leon Newcastle became a general of the society in his quest to resurrect Thomas Animus. He and his on again, off again girlfriend Sophia Liafador aided the 3rd society in capturing Catalina Liafador and Retrofire resulting in Animus stealing Cat’s biokenetic powers.

It is believed that Kane has been indoctrinated from a very young age; the society has used him for numerous plans over the course of his life, including impregnating every woman that’d allow him to. It was Kane that eventually indoctrinated Ziccarra, and used his influence over her to push Liafador/Society plans. He went as far as torturing Ellie Knightfall to draw heat from the Knightfalls in order to indoctrinate one of them (Which failed)
Kane was one of the most notorious Society generals because he has crossed many others at every turn. He became an unstoppable forces in the family, especially after absorbing Thee Champions genetic code. He was killed in Malaga during Catalina’s assault during the Liafador War.

The tragedy of Catalina Liafador is no simple tale, created as the genetic replica of Ziccarra Liafador and Kane Liafador; Cat was raised in Belize and Columbia. She had her first run in with the society at the age of 5, when she saw her indoctrinated mother, Ziccarra Liafador kill her creator Kane Liafador. Cat spent the next year of her life living in whore homes in South America.
When she turned 10, She learned of “A Liafador Conspiracy” a plan that would see many Latin/Hispanic nations under the power of Liafador personnel—personnel under the influence of Sabella and Ramon Liafador and ultimately the 3rd Society.
The Red Cardinals raided her village looking for her, but she was ultimately saved by Ashley Emerald Mooreland (Black Solace), in direct retaliation, Catalina crafted her own Cardinal group a sent an assassin to kill both Sabella and Ramon Liafador.
At 18, she found herself under indoctrination of the 3rd Society, in her confusion she managed to kill her mother Ziccarra Liafador ultimately, allowing her to become the goddess.
At 21 Cat found herself deeply in love with a hero named Retrofire, but that love ended with the 3rd Society forced Cat to choose between killing him or putting him in a Coma. Choosing a coma, Cat was once again indoctrinated by the society and went on to destroy the city of Malaga, and plan the events of the Cataclysm. Her indoctrination ended when she committed suicide.

Sabella Liafador along with her husband Ramon are in short, the reason for their family’s woes. Having been among the first to be indoctrinated, Sabella sought to use her daughter as a “Sex-Slave” and her sons as Assassins to obtain power in Iberia and eventually all Hispanic/Latin countries. She was known to be a jealous and abusive mother to her children especially Ziccarra.
She ordered the creation of the Matriarch Zedora, and eventually Catalina. It was a 10 year old Cat that eventually had Sabella killed.

Indoctrinating Ramon Liafador was easy; he wanted wealth. Having secured his family’s winery and launching Liafador international Ramon now wanted power. Ramon was credited for drafting what’s known as the Liafador Legacy and the Liafador Conspiracy, a plan to usurp Spanish-speaking nations with society help. He cared very less about the well being of his family, and only saw conquest of the world. He, like Sabella was killed by Catalina’s hired gun.

It is believed that Ziccarra’s indoctrination was broken once she completed Pit, but to that day it’s still unknown to anyone but her. Ziccarra rose to power in Malaga after she completed the pit, but before then; she was known as a Liafador Assassin, using seductive measures to draw her enemy close. The society once again managed to capture Ziccarra’s mind while she was pregnant with Maya Liafador, this pit her against her husband Thee Champion to which he bested her.
Ziccarra’s initial mental manipulation has seemingly subsided; but Catalina has always mentioned what’s wrong with her mother isn’t mental. It’s physical.

M- Alexis and Ziccarra Pettis
When the 3rd Society rose in Reality –M, Alexis and Ziccarra were the first to be indoctrinated. Alexis and his wife waged a war across reality M that brought the entire world under their grip. Thee Champion scoured the cosmos destroying whole planets and bringing entire civilizations to their knees while his wife lead a war across Earth and enslaved the planet. The two of them crippled their opposition through use of the indoctrination process.
On a fateful day, Ziccarra Liafador and Thee Champion were transported from the CVNU to Earth –M along with Catalina Liafador. The CVNU Champion and Ziccarra bested their M counterparts, killing the both of them. It was this day that the Azure Son joined the Pettis family. Shortly afterwards, the Exemplars declared Reality M a “dead” universe. Because it’s total population was so low, it’d never recover. To date they have provided the biggest victory to the society.

During the siege of Asgard, Isis and Zeon Liafador hurt Zedora’s pride so much; that the society Matriarch retreated from the battle and attack Sifi Morocco to kidnap Chance Liafador, Zeon’s sister. This is the only known incident where Zedora has acted outside of her usual robotic manner, developing traits like pettiness. Since the kidnapping, Zedora has worked through Chance to directly smite Zeon.
