Rio de Janeiro , Brazil

People stood on both sides of the small street waving the Brazilian flag, in a show of national pride. Cat’s black stretch limo slowly rolled across the packed cobblestone streets. As much as she wanted to be in Malaga for the start of the world cup; her attention had to be on this conference. She slid her Vuarnet aviators to the bridge of her nose; just to catch a glimpse of the people with her own eyes. “Ew. Are we in the hood?” she snarled, sliding her glasses back on her face. Removing her phone, she sent out a quick tweet before; arriving at the building.

The conference building displayed the flags of all the nations in attendance; Cat’s flag was made by a member of the Missionaries; but it didn’t give off the same illusion that the name “Eden” did.

Stepping out the limo she watched as the Brazilian Soldiers in attendance rendered a salute of honors. “What the eff are they doing?” she whispered, batting the lint from her pinstriped suit. “They are saluting you my queen, you’re supposed to wave and smile.”

“Fck that” Cat replied, giving her advisor a chastising lip curl. Swiftly moving into the building, she was escorted to where she would sit. Typically the leaders of such countries would send ambassadors, but this was a chance to gauge Catalina’s vision of Eden; which many of her peers already opposed. Venezuela was the biggest opponent, which was odd; because it was the Supreme Chancellor who put Cat in power in the first place.

Catalina built Eden on Animus Corp technology, and sat on a significant investment by Thomas himself. These provisions were established, when Southern Venezuela was handed to Cat. This contract alone made her arguably the second most powerful nation in Latin America, next to Venezuela.

For the time being, The U.S hadn’t bothered to comment on Cat’s ascension to the throne; but The White Queen of the Hellfire Club did. In an uncomfortable and embarrassing meeting, the young primer met her former “boss” which quickly turned volatile. Just as the stars aligned and put Cat in power, they were quickly aligning to remove her.

She increased production on 15 different type of chemical weapons, and developed 4 new biological weapons. She sat in her chair awaiting the arrival of the Supreme Chancellor of Venezuela, as her eyes slowly surveyed her surroundings…it became apparent. This wouldn’t go how she first thought.

The roaring of the crowds governed the overwhelming atmospheric ambiance of such a monumental summit, the fate of the entire South American Continent depended upon such a meeting going without rife, maybe, even the fate of the world.

The Chancellor stepped forth from within his white lime, the moment his feet touched the ground, an uproar of noise erupted due to his cardinal importance in the world, people knew the Chancellor was the most important politicians in current affairs. Thoughtfully coming to a standstill out from within his limo, his eyes closed in a moment of contemplative solace.

A flurry of protective VLA Elites encircled his position propagating his unrivaled defense, the chance of assassination was next to void. As he walked in unison so did the Elites, circling his position allowing for nobody to even get in touching distance, his hands idly folded behind of his purely white attire, eyes still closed using his telekinetic sonar sense to guide his transit through the street.

Swiftly making his way inwards into the building, quickly directed to his position momentarily giving an appeasing nod to a few fellow statesmen and ambassadors prior to taking a seat, his placid eyes surveying the surroundings, resting upon Catalina, his hatred manifested itself upon his usually emotionless face, his face contorted into an almost angered frown.

Shaking off his shorty lived emotional rupture before knowingly nodding to himself, obviously being the most prized, and influential member in this summit. He would open with a few word, authoritatively standing up bringing the worlds attention onto his person, his voice echoed throughout of the room, commanding respect and admiration, and even fear...

"Greetings my fellowambassadors and rulers. May I just take a moment to give my admiration to one new member gracing us with her presence today being the advocate of a newly prized nation....the Nation, of Eden" His eyes fixed on point towards Catalina, raising his right palm gesturing to her position, "I wish great Eden prosperity" The words sounding utterly authentic....to the world, to the public, The Chancellor would not openly admit to despising the country. He then took a seat back down, awaiting whatever happened next, "That is all....now let us begin" He idly rested his arms upon the table, analyzing the international opposition.

Cat’s body began heating up, the effects of her “Molly” quickly set in, placing her in an orgasmic euphoria. The rebellious adolescent slowly slid her fingers between the thresholds of her inner thighs; and quietly began to stimulate herself, in the presence of the most dignified names. The false acclaim from Venezuelan Supreme Chancellor; set the tone; as he and Cat were on course to send passive aggressive strikes back and forth.

She let loose a subtle moan, which caught the attention of her advisor. “My lady, what on Earth are you doing!” She roughly whispered at, the young monarch; temporarily setting her focus back on the meeting.

“One thing we want to avoid is a massive war, a war between any of us would damage the image of our great continent. Wouldn’t you agree Ms.Liafador?” the mediator directed the attention of those in attendance towards Cat for a response.

“heh..I do agree…” She said, with a chuckle; having placed her hidden hand back between her thigh. The mediator stood once again, prepping coat.

“So would you mind telling us, why you’ve been stockpiling, and creating weapons of mass destruction?” She telegraphed the question long before he asked it, this conference was nothing more than a cross examination; of how of a threat she posed.

Cat was brought back to sobriety by the question; and answered as if she rehearsed it beforehand.

“I’ve upped the production of our weapons because; unlike Venezuela; and Guyana, and Brazil; and Columbia; we don’t have a standing army. With the stabilization of Eden not yet complete; a standing Army isn’t a priority. I will say this, if do not intend to use my weapons….unless provoked. Supreme Chancellor, surely you understand my plight. Her tone was tainted with sardonicism, rotating clock-wise looking into the eyes of her peers.

“Since I have the floor, I was wondering what the possibility of contracting citizens of Eden to work on the Eastern and Northern shores; so that we may have access to the ocean. Of course trading and other politics will come with it, but having a position near the ocean; could be a boom in commerce for us.”

“Any objections?” A representative of Guyana, didn’t shoot down the proposal, but he did not openly back it either. Cat’s eye’s shifted towards the Supreme Chancellor; as her proposal also effected him.

Carefully listening on to the current talks with intrigued ears, the Chancellor subtly reclined back into his seat softly smirking at Catalina's almost undoubtedly rehearsed response. Casually nodding all the while keeping up the false pretense wanting the international news and officials to think the two were currently in good relation, regardless of...past events. Leaning forwards, his elbows resting upon the desk his jaded eyes interlocked a gaze with Catalina, never wavering from their disposition of stoicism showing virtually no emotion, yet an almost unnoticeable amount of unmistakable admiration for the womans audacity and wit, "...Ms Liafador, I deeply understand your need to harbor and create such weaponry. This would be an almost negligible piece of information" His eyes temporarily broke contact with the woman, peering into the watchful eyes of the audience before returning back to the previous stare, "However. Are you suggesting we allow you to place citizens of Eden...who are not mutants...onto our lands, in return for shipping and international oceanic purposes?" Smugly shaking his head, almost spitefully squinting his eyes deeply stared at Cat almost looking into her soul, "This would not be something which I am happy with. Considering your current weaponry, chemically based and nuclear. Factoring the conception of the country based upon...less than humane ways, I am uncomfortable with your proposition" He shot the woman a spurious smile, once again keeping up the false pretense.

“The foremost responsibility of us leaders; is to ensure the safety of our constituents, and to maintain peace on the edges of our borders. Commerce between the North and South; is a notion that shows the world we are ready for peace. Protesting Eden because of our means of self-defense is a deterrent of peace.” Catalina locked eyes with the chancellor, as much as she wanted to grimace in his presence; she pushed on to sway the audience.

“Eden is the only country of pure humans; our neighbors in Venezuela are mutants; how are we to defend ourselves? It is when we are backed in a corner; that we, the leaders must make the decisions to defend our people. If we continue to look at how threatened we are by the surrounding nations; then we will always live expecting the worse.”

Eden was stockpiled with a high human constituency, mainly because Cat’s purge; but none of them currently had the strength to defeat Venezuela in a war, if one were to erupt. Cat sent a paralyzing stare back towards the Chancellor; the man who placed her in charge, it now became apparent why he did so.

As their eyes met for the fourth time, a tingling sensation ran through the young Liafador body. “If you stand in the way of peace, than there will surely be war” she said, taking her seat; crossing her legs in a posh manner.
