@james_batsonNot gonna lie man. I straight up didn't like you either and avoided working with you. But I'm cool with you now. We good and I enjoy writing with you now.
RPGers and what you like about them
I always thought that was so and I really can't blame you.
If someone had told me that I would actually miss you when you took your hiatus I woulda laughed.
But I really do appreciate how forgiving and everything you were once I actually started getting used to all of this.
@james_batson: so serious
Key City, you know where I live.
Actually...you don't do you?
Scared.
@james_batson: Man it’s Mari
Sigh.
You're right.
You know where I live...Make yourself at home then...
*LOL* I can't wait. I feel this is pretty overdue.
- Mercy for being, in my estimation, the best pure writer on CV.
- Sha's world-building, and her ruthless determination to get anything she creates to prominence.
- Nova's mastery over character voices. It's insane. None of her characters sound the same, they all have their own distinct voices, and she's written everything from idealistic heroes to more morally ambiguous characters to irredeemable villains and even inexperienced teenagers and children. And they're all believable.
- Lamar improved a lot in a short amount of time. He didn't start out well, though few people do. But he really tried to improve and learn from his mistakes. It wasn't initially successful, but he still kept trying until he finally got it. That desire to improve and correct one's mistakes is something to be admired.
- Zauby for never sacrificing characterization to further a plot point or bring an idea to life. Sometimes, as RP'ers, we'll want to do something different with an existing character, like turning them evil or whatever, but there's often no build-up to those heel turns. They happen out of nowhere. Zauby never ever does this and any change her characters undergo is often from an accumulation of events and experiences that are all sensible, and rarely of her own doing. Her characters react to their environment in the most organic way I've ever seen a character on CV react.
@amin_karrit: thanks Impero, you’re too kind
@amin_karrit: I love you 🥰🥰🥰

I always thought it was August *LOL*
@nemesis_liafador: I love you too <3
@james_batson: @feral_nova: You're welcome!
@amin_karrit: Darling♥
I like the fact that Mockingjay has the guts to consistently talk trash despite the danger that I posses 🤣
@backstabber king
@cutting_edge: no rush but I'd like to meet one of your characters in canon, it would be great.
I love-hate that Nova's so low-maintenance. She's always down to support other people, write a character that they need her to write to progress their plans and ideas...but I also wish she'd be just a little more maintenance sometimes because I feel selfish and guilty.
But she's a darling. ♥

awwww Night Shift Nemesis <3
I’m truly proud of how far Red Jay has come. I liked the guy since day one, and I knew that had he an extraordinary amount of potential, but even then, he surprised me. The guy is one of the quickest studies on here when it comes to developing characters and writing their particular atmosphere, and all of them have them have this quaint, intriguing aesthetic that really speaks to his vision as a creator.
@madam_strange: It'd take me a while to formulate a proper response to this but nonetheless, I appreciate those words!
@billy_kidd: You’re welcome.
Two categories:
Peers: Perhaps one of the most cherished memories on here was writing with these people. Juno, Lamar, Surreal, Ozzy, and SM (though she isn’t really a “peer” per se). Throwing ourselves into the same environment and learning/progressing with one-another was the best. During the Academy days to the creation of the Outcasts was amazing. They helped me grow so much, as I hoped I did for them.
Juno seemed like the pioneer leading the “newbies”. Her writing was spectacular, and coupling that with SM’s was one of the most admirable things I’ve ever seen. And with her and the rest of our little crew it felt like we could do great things on this site, but things fell apart. Though even with some of their absences I still want to be as good as leader Juno was, though I can’t replicate her, she has inspired me in many ways. It’s been two to three years and I still keep each and every one of them in mind. Hopefully we get to write together once more!
Mentors: These people are definitely fifty percent of my growth, the people nearly all of us looked up to. Well, I did. These would be Sha, Paragon, Nova, Gambler, Zauby, and last and perhaps the person I am most thankful for, Impero. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have been confident enough to write any of my own work. Just write off of what others have established, though after seeing all of their great creations and threads, I could just sit idle. They inspired me to try and do my best.
Impero, as I mentioned, was a big help. In my earlier times I completely ripped him off. Plagiarized and pillaged his bio and images. Though instead of confronting me in public, he helped me resolve the issue on his own. He was really scared but I really appreciated his help and criticism at the time, he along with others inspired me to be more creative and confident in myself. And that I can never repay.
All in all, I greatly appreciate these people!
