• A private investigator currently residing in Chicago, Dirk Drakane learned that he was a mutant at the age of 22. As far as mutants go, this is considered to be a very late age for mutations to manifest.
• Now 23, he's only had a year so far to deal with his newfound spider powers, woefully unprepared for such a burden. Most of his "experience" has come from watching other spider-people on both the news and Youtube.
• Started "patrolling" Chicago after gaining his powers, using his connections from his P.I gig to track down criminals. Originally, his costume was nothing more than his grandfather's pilot suit from WW2, thinking it was perfect for his new role. However, he quickly learned that it was far too baggy for him to properly stick to walls. Since then, he's gone through multiple prototype costumes, until finally using the one he wears currently.
• Has yet to properly name his costumed identity. Between the multiple heroes with spider abilities, and his own terrible naming skills, he's just stuck with "Spider-Person" or "I don't know, think of something and just use it."
• Hates detective shows, especially of the Noir genre. This is mostly due to everyone making jokes about his profession, stemming from the cliches in all the popular classics.
