Poppy the ghost (character profile)

Poppy was the twin sister of Lydia, a 17 year old American girl. The two were in a car accident which killed Poppy but Lydia survived with grave injuries. When Lydia woke up in the hospital her sister was there with her but something seemed different about her. What the doctors told Lydia was that her sister had died in the accident and she had only barely survived, but the real miracle was that all her injuries had healed in a matter of days. Lydia tried to tell them that her sister was alive and standing in the room but the doctors didn't believe her until Poppy started manipulating the lights and electronics in the room.

Poppy seemed to be even more inseparable from her sister than anyone realized. No one else could see or hear her now but she was always with Lydia. The healing she could perform on Lydia didn't work on anyone else unfortunately. She had another ability now that let her possess her sister's body and control it. When possessed, Lydia's body had superhuman strength and agility and could move in unnatural ways that would hurt a normal person. She could turn her head like an owl's, twist her limbs and way she wanted, and survive serious harm to her body. Unfortunately Poppy would have to heal the damage before giving Lydia control again and couldn't use her ghostly powers while using possession. She also could only speak in a raspy voice that could be hard to understand and could also frighten people, so she only speaks if she really has to. She does use her terrifying scream to intimidate her enemies, though.

With all these abilities the sisters decided that they should be heroes. They might not be your typical vigilantes and they might end up traumatizing some of the people they save, but that won't change the path they've chosen.

@gripper: Thank you. Yes, it's like that. Much better to just scare the enemy into submission without hurting anyone, right?

So is Poppy a Good Ghost or a Vengeful Ghost

@gripper: She's good, a book you shouldn't judge by its cover. I liked the idea of a misunderstood hero who seems just like a horror movie villain.

And what about Lydia, is good or "Misunderstood"?

@gripper: Lydia is good and pretty normal besides having a ghost follow her everywhere. Poppy is normal as well besides her powers and her being dead. She actually still has a normal voice when she talks to Lydia.
