The Pharaoh, born 3001 B.C. was born into royalty becoming ruler at a young age. His people did not respect him, so he sought assistance from his priests to teach him the dark arts. Able to wield artifacts which would strip a human of their very soul, he quickly became feared among his people. A priest among others was always by his side, whispering dark secrets about the artifacts he inherited.
The Pharaoh, found himself surpasses the training the priests could offer. The angered him, causing him to delve into summoning Anubis for guidance. The god, was insulted by a mere mortal using the artifacts. Punishing the Pharaoh, by rotting his flesh. An easy remedy, for his dark training taught mummification rituals which would counter act the flesh from dying. The Pharaoh returned to his throne, summoning all priests to his chamber. Then using an artifact drew out the life essence of each, imbuing the wrappings he wore with it.
