History
The country known as Nivaria was a cruel one indeed, one that was so much so that anyone who knew anything about the country would immediately recognize it for its oppressive nature and the dictatorship that reinforced all that was wrong with the nation. Founded in 1635 by various farmers, sailors, tradesmen and the like, the country started off as being a well lead society with a steadily increasing economic value as a result of trade of neighboring countries such as Hungary and Romania. The lives of those in the country were also fairly good and only increased in the quality of life as each year passed by. Unfortunately, that joy would not last.
As time went on, over the decades the the country's government would become increasingly corrupt in all aspects regarding political, economic, social, cultural views and actions relating to those who lived inside of the country. The country slowly became more restrictive with each passing day and each new law that passed with it. People were not allowed to enter certain locations that had once been public property without paying large sums of money to the king turned dictator at the time. Streets had curfews and anyone who was found outside passed it were gunned down on sight. This was only the beginning of a many atrocities the country’s inhabitants would face.
With the country becoming more and more reclusive as well as nationally looked down upon, the government would need to find a way to fund the nation’s endeavors outside of the gross exploitation of those who existed inside of the country. It was shortly after that when the attention of the government was turned to various markets that could prove to be quite beneficial to the country’s status, in particular the human trafficking market. It was then made so that hundreds to 1,000s of children a year would be stolen from their native countries and either brought to Niveria by their forces or sold different human trafficking rings in various locations like the Middle East.
One such catch however would prove to be a fatal mistake by the hands of group of renegade soldiers of Niveria, one that forever change the course of history in the country. A boy under the name Dominion would be captured by the very forces that had previously worked for the Niverian military, only to escape and free others who were unfortunate enough to end up in the same situation that he had been in. Not long afterwards, the boy, now man, would discover the truth behind his capture through those whom he had freed from slavery. A result, he set out to obtain this country and allow those who lived within it to have the peace and happiness that was now faded memory.
This would be done through the manipulation of the government from behind the scenes. Over the course of mere weeks, the political officials had been getting messages from an unknown party that made them aware of the ability that they had to overthrow the dictator who had been keeping even them under his thumb. Each interaction between the political officials the unknown party would include information being provided to the secret enemy as to how the dictator could be defeated, in return they would receive various weapons and such through hidden middleman. In about a two months time, the attack was finally launched.
Dominion would send his soldiers/followers to attack the castle of the countries own dictator, through the gates that had been so willingly opened by the very people who were there to protect and advise the leader. The night’s hour was filled with yells, the clashing of metal against bone and the ever so silent drip of blood in the halls of the castle. When the dust settled, the blade of Dominion was plunged within the heart of the current dictator who had tormented a country for the better end of a decade. And what of the people who had helped this venture? They would be imprisoned or executed. No shred of corruption would defile the new leader’s dominion.

Rise and Rule of Dominion
Being the country’s supreme monarch of the country now named ''Morvaria'', Doctor Dominion was the one who makes the law and settled any and all matters that would occur at any given time in the country. He foresees everything that happens within the country and keeps track of everything that and acts in anyway that he sees fit with complete authority. He is the one who is consulted regarding when anything significant happens within the nation's borders and he is the one who decides the fate of those who do not abide by the rules.
Castle Dominion
Once the lair of every dictator to look down on Niveria and now home of the supreme monarch, Castle Dominion is the home of Doctor Dominion and anyone he sees fit to live inside of it. The enormous structure resisting on the tallest hill is over 6,472 square meters and reaches its greatest height of 14 stories. It oversees the entire capital city of Morvaria and acts as a military base of sorts as well.
Areas
Throne Room: A room in which anyone comes before Doctor Dominion is the main hall in which the supreme monarch sits upon his throne.
Chambers of Dominion: The bedroom of Dominion houses a king sized bed, several tables, a massive wardrobe and a facility for more private affairs such as bathing and relieving himself.
Dining Hall: In one of the rooms is located and table where Doctor Dominion is served a lush variety of meals of his choosing.
Laboratory: A facility beneath the bowels of the castle which Dominion runs various experiments and several practices regarding his work. Various weapons and inventions from teleportation pads to duplication chambers to black hole generators to chemical grenades. This location also serves as a hospital should someone require medical assistance.
Armory: It is there that Doctor Dominion arms himself with various equipment needed to sustain himself and make it so that he does not find himself in harm’s way.
Library: A vast dwelling and books and texts from every corner of the globe that has been assimilated over the years by Doctor Dominion on his travels with his followers.
Castle Siege: Along the wall of the castle lays formation of guards with an adornment off turrets, lasers, missiles and many other weapons ready to be fired at any opposing force.
Dungeon: Underneath the entire fortress lies a Dungeon that holds many hundreds of chambers for each person found to be in violation of a serious crime. There is the place where they wait for sentence if their punishment isn't the prison itself.
Catacombs: The lowest point of the place is where each fallen servant is put once their lives have ended. It is a large and spacious section where all those who rest there are honored for as long as they remain there.
Security and Defense
The castle being the place that it is will always be a major target for anyone who disagrees with the rule of Doctor Dominion, for that reason it is one of the most heavily guarded structural locations in not only the world but the entire solar system. While barbaric in appearance, the location is quite technologically advanced. Each inch of the fortress is kept track of by surveillance that is on 24/7 that can see on all wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, Accompanied with motion sensors that can detect kinetic energy from a moving object that has as much mass as one gram. Surpassing this would require either of small enough mass or quantum tunneling. Another obstacle is the sleeping agent released from the vents with enough potency to put a herd of elephants to sleep.
Each passage is layered with electromagnetic pulsers (EMPs) that will be shot down in beams are designed to nullify the electrical charge of matter and rip apart any intruder of physical being on the subatomic level, regardless of durability. Concussive will activate should someone manage to evade the EMPs, the result frequency ranges from the ability to mildy confuse a person to having enough force to liquefy the bones of a being with 100x times more tensile strength than that of a human being. All doors within the castle are covered in force-fields not unlike the ones on Doctor Dominion's armor. If advanced security measures were activated they would link and make it as if there was no slit between the wall but instead and wall that could withstand the force of 5 tons of TNT.
On the castle siege a line of photonic canons is placed for the use of the dozens of guards to use, all of which can used to disintegrate objects with as much durability as titanium. Different weapons there like turrets, lasers, missiles are also used in the event that there is an attack made from the top of the castle. The guards themselves are geared up with armor made of kevlar, throwing knifes, blow darts, tasers and batons. Last but certainly not least, the final protocol would be to cover Doctor Dominion, anyone he chooses and the outside of the castle with a protective force-field that could withstand the explosion of the self-destruct sequence. The resulting blast would activate in the next 5 minutes and release of host of energized particles equivalent to that of 10 atomic bombs.
Needless to say, the task of successfully infiltrating and carrying out a mission inside of the fortress would be something that could only be fulfilled by someone of immense power, skill or intellect.
Nirvana
The capital (and only) city of Morvaria is the center of all the trade, business, education and every other daily practice that takes place in the country. Located in the valley below Castle Dominion, the 1,265 square kilometers city is home to approximately 99.8% of the people who live within Morvaria and for very good reason. Despite having an architectural design that mirrors that of neighboring countries like Romania, the city is one of the most technologically societies on the face of the Earth. The city is a lush paradise that is the most diverse (known) country on the planet Earth both ethnically and culturally. Because of this the country also one of the most socially, politically and economically advanced cities ever established. As the name would suggest, it is a true utopia.
- Schools: There are 62 known schools located inside of the city. Each of the teaching identical curriculum that has been approved by the Good Doctor of course.
- Hospitals: Within all the streets of the are 62 hospitals layed out in equal proximity from each other so that anyone who seeks medical attention is more likely to make it in time before succumbing to their condition.
- Homes: There are roughly 857,246 homes inside of the city. This includes places such as apartments, semis, condos and any other kind of living area.
- Businesses: There are approximately 17,481 businesses inside of the city. This includes markets, pharmacies, garages, law firms, banks, etc, all of which are owned by Doctor Dominion but manages by others. People are paid based on how hard they work and are would be well taken care of in the event that they don't make enough money to support their needs.
- Public Locations: Many public areas exist so that people may do something as simple as enjoy the environment. This includes parks, forests, recreational spots, sporting events and numerous others are scattered throughout the vast city.
Militaristic Power and Protection
Despite being very pacifistic in nature, Morvaria boasts one of the most powerful militaries on the face of the Earth. The vast power and ability of the military comes from not the number of their troops but rather the effectiveness and efficiency that its army contains within its ranks. Quality over quantity as the saying goes. the country itself also utilizes it technological advancement and scientific knowledge to have more natural measures in the ways of offensives and defensive procedures:
Soldiers: While being fairly small with a number of 80,000 the Morvarian soldiers make up for their few numbers with their advanced armor and weaponry. The average soldier wears a suit of 10 mm thick steel and carrying and plasma rifles, each person has go up against the average metahuman (appearance ). For greater arial advantage, other uniforms will have where lighter and less durable flight suits comprised and steel basic bullet proof fabric with air vents installed along with wrist mounted electrical conductors (appearance). Arguably the most impressive of the bunch, are the armors refereed to as "juggernauts". Heavy duty suits comprised of 5 inches of steel titanium alloy, being able to lift 45 tons of weight and withstand 50 tons of force, made for taking and giving out loads of damage (appearance ).
Land Mobiles: Massive tank like 12 meters in length and 5.5 meters in height, massive vehicles serve as the main weapon/mode of transposition for land bound soldiers, being able to hold up to one dozen soldiers at the most. All of them are covered in a thick layer of a chrome-iron alloy and their surfaces covered with a thin artificial diamond like plating. Making then nigh-impenetrable to most weapons such as bullets, canons fire, set explosives and wide arrange conventional weapons. Each fit with 8 metallic tires each 2.5 meters in diameter. They contain energized canons that produce concussive blasts powerful enough to level entire buildings (appearance).
Fleet: With arial assault being a genuine possibility, the Morvarian air force has an assortment jets and gliders used to launch a preemptive strike on their enemies as well as scoping out different locations. Each one can travel at a base speed of Mach 7 but increase it to a maximum of Mach 12 and can fly at an altitude of 50,000 ft. Each one comes a cockpit with enough space for 3-4 soldiers and comes with plasma canons, missiles and or bullet mounted guns inside of each wing. Every version also comes with electromagnetic vibrational panels in order to become invisible. The group is lead by a massive airship that guides all the armies into any conflict great enough for it to be needed (appearance).
City Defenses: What is arguably the most impressive tool is the city itself. Should their be a challenge that would threaten the city from the outside, the cities mostly unused mechanisms would activate. The exact ways of how this works and the extent however are not disclosed to anyone who does not need to have knowledge of it.
Climate and Terrain
The country is one that is covered in a large amount of trees, hills, rivers, ponds and even a few mountains that are all located outside and the city. It has become very popular for those who live in the city and even outside of the country to come and spend a vacation going out and venturing along side the mountain range separating Morvaria from other countries and overlooking the great forest that surrounds the city.It is fairly warm inside of the forest but is extremely cold on the mountain range, as to be expected. Temperatures usually drop from 25 degrees celsius during the day to 10 degrees at night in the forest. The mountains however typically range from -5 degrees celsius in the day to -32 degrees at night.
Rules and Regulations
This thread is open to anyone, and you can choose to do a variety of things here like have a character live in the country or simply visit. Players may even obtain several jobs if you apply. There are however rules that need to be followed if you want to participate.
- Arrival: This country is very protective and is located away from most other CVnU locations. If you have been banned from the country, then please come in by secretive means or by breaking in (if you are powerful or sneaky enough). Also, be sure to explain how you arrived in reasonable detail.
- Destruction of Property: Relatively small amounts of damage like cutting down a tree or blowing a hole into a cave is accepted. However, major damage like blowing up the city or burning down the entire forest needs to be asked for permission before it is done.
- Hostile Takeover: For those who would like to take over the country, get ready for the fight of your life because getting it will require going toe to toe with Doctor Dominion in person. In other words, please do not do such things as conquer or relocate the whole land instantly without my permission. If you want the land then you will have to give a formal notice and challenge me.
- Relocation: Please don't change the location of the of Morvaria or any major locations within the country without my consent.
- Criminal Actions: The law in Morvaria is very similar to that of North America, but far more severe and without all of the corruption. Crimes like theft are fine, but if your character is caught then they will need to pay back what they stole and give even more restitution, unless they manage to escape. Crimes like murder are however punishable by death, so think carefully before you decide to go out and takeout someone. Other crimes like vandalism, kidnapping, assault, drug trade and others are allowed but must be as discrete as possible.
