How should she be written?

@whathappened: It's on record Superman can't get drunk thanks to his powers. Supergirl is his cousin, so naturally, the same logic should apply to her. But then a comic book writer comes along and writes a story where she's drunk. I wouldn't mind it if Kara were human but she's not, she's a Kryptonian. Alcohol shouldn't affect her.
