What the Battle Left Behind
Hyper-human Traits

During his brief encounter with the Reality Lavaliere, Tarvok managed to copy the strength and speed of Thee Champion in order to better prepare himself for their duel. His ultra-conservative nature while using the most dangerous of the gems perhaps sealed his defeat, but it was not without justified cause.

Any reckless use of the Reality Lavaliere would have unraveled Tarvok just as easily as he could have unraveled all other things. In sparing him victory, it also kept him from another form of disaster - perhaps even a far more permanent one.

Tarvok's Titan gene-infused physiology adapted to the accelerated form of superhuman strength expressed within Thee Champion's copied usage of it. His speed was yet another casualty of the Battle of Ynerax, but ultimately not entirely necessary. The Titan already possessed a great degree of physical durability, bordering on the nigh-invulnerable. But Thee Champion's strength tested the limitations of his own brawn and endurance and even surpassed it on multiple occasions of learning what he could do with it.

With mere gestures, he could erase mountains or flatten continental pieces of land. Compressing chunks of frozen nitrogen in his hands, he could crush them into a gas once more by generating enormous heat through pure intermuscular friction.

Though stripped of his psionic powers, the Titan still managed a dangerous analytical mind. The synapses within could fire at impossible speeds, though without superhuman speed these reaction times were best used with a plan previously concocted.

Perhaps his greatest showing of mental prowess ever since the Battle of Ynerax is his restoration of the Deus Engine. An ancient and powerful gauntlet from his homeworld of Valkna, Tarvok used it in order to defeat his father. The latent energies were released from within when Thee Champion compromised its structural integrity, giving Tarvok a dark clue as to the true intentions of the gauntlet. Thus, he has reprogrammed it to the best of his capability with primitive tools.

His physical durability proved reentry into Ynerax's hostile atmosphere ineffective at killing or even harming him, even while in a broken state following his duel. In the same vein, his ability to live without essentials such as water, food, or even air in the vacuum of space was a testament in of itself. The blows thundered upon him by Thee Champion did nothing but cause insurmountable pain and a rattling in his head, though they were effective at driving him back and thus sealed victory for the Earth hero.

For the first time since he killed his father, Tarvok had found someone who could bleed him white in a battle. Had the Lavalieres not been a factor, Tarvok easily saw the fight going either way. His skull suffered no detrimental harm, merely heavy bruising in the bone that faded with time. His physiology also didn't allow extensive harm to come to his brain, either. Thick mesentery-esque tissues strung his brain to the inner lining of his skull in an almost muscle-like web of impossibly-strong tethers and security measures. Though not common to Valknans or even those of the Titan gene, Tarvok himself long ago hyper-accelerated the growth of these immovable tissues. With the added strength of Thee Champion coursing through his tendons and fibers, concussions are simply a non-factor even during concentrated physical assault aimed at his skull.

Though his physique can lay waste to entire planetary systems in the blink of an eye, it is the delicate nature of his ability to construct and repair that will always fascinate him the most. The Deus Engine is nowhere near its ideal state of operation, and perhaps never will be again. But the dark energies that once resonated within, clouding his judgment, have been dismantled.

He now simply waits upon Ynerax for their invoker to show herself.
