In a world whose oceans have been infested by Kaiju, and whose lands are ever so frequently threatened by them, humans and metahumans have learned to be wary of these malicious existences, with the warning systems funded by the UN and/or State being set up in and around the waters of respective countries, and certain guidelines and/or evacuation plans drawn up for inhabitants of an area to act accordingly during times of Kaiju attacks.
One of the many measures in a series of defensive measures is the Kaiju Indexing Initiative and the Classifications Initiative. These measures ensure that the general public is made aware of the variety of Kaiju, what to look for and how to act when a certain kind of Kaiju is spotted. It's entirely possible for a Kaiju to come in the size of a bear, but it's also possible that the bear-sized Kaiju is more dangerous than a 3 story Kaiju. For this reason, no matter where you live, it is updated to keep a catalog of this information on hand at all times. It could mean the difference between life and death for you and your family members.

The extremely rare God category Kaiju possess intelligence and can control other types of Kaiju. The God category Kaiju can form an army out of the normal random attacks into a systematic assault for its convenience. It is not advised to face a God Catagory Kaiju by yourself even if you are a metahuman of otherworldly power. |
