Jurassic World- Day Zero, T Minus 8 Hours to Event.

Chapter One- System Expansion.

The great secret to life, to existence itself is that every system rests on a knife's edge. What we see as order is only two steps away from chaos and the more ordered, the more structure we see, the more of a house of cards lies beneath the surface. Regardless of calculations, regardless of technology, nothing can ever be perfectly controlled. That is why there are some races we refer to as "forces of nature" creatures that simply destroy, spread havoc and chaos and never seem controllable. Take Earthquakes as a wonderful example, we build cities, sky scrapers and pile them on top of seemingly solid ground. Then one day there is enough pressure applied at the right moment in the right place and the whole system comes tumbling down...literally. The most important lesson never learned...we are not in control, at any moment for reasons we don't for-see the whole system can come tumbling down on our heads. Sometimes this happens just as the system is expanding upon itself, just as more variables enter the equation. The expansion of a system, any system, is the point at which it is most vulnerable to collapse.

Jurassic World was open, crowds were flooding in at a rate unheard of in the opening of any previous park. The system was expanding.

Welcome to Jurassic World
Welcome to Jurassic World

Gale Xanders was walking her rounds at the park, she always chose to walk unless there was some sort of significant hurry. Right now there was no such thing. She walked the park, passing the Tyrannosaur paddock where she paused and watched onlookers as they saw their first visual of a live Tyrannousaurs Rex. She cocked her head slightly at the curiosity of it all and ultimately shook her head. Children ran to the glass to watch while their parents approached more cautiously, some looking at the glass wall with trepidation...but most people were simply too excited to care. Here were dinosaurs, real live dinosaurs. Spare no expense.

Something felt wrong, out of place maybe. You're being paranoid, it's a park. The system can fail but it's not going to come under attack, it's not a military base. Stop thinking like you're still in a war Xae. She shrugged the paranoia off as best she could and was stopped by a pair of concerned parents who started asking a thousand questions about the safety of the wall behind them. "I personally had this wall and every wall like it in the park tested." She said. "That T-Rex could charge it at full speed from across the Paddock and it would do more damage to itself than the glass, your hatch...children are perfectly safe. If something did happen we have systems in place to get everyone to safety quickly and carefully." She added. The parents moved away, seemingly satisfied.

Gale Xanders glanced at her chronometer and moved on.

---------------------------------

Elsewhere a man in a cream colored shirt left a visitor helicopter and looked out over the park. Only the truly VIP guests were allowed in via helicopter ride, the sort of people willing to pay extra on a day when everyone else got here for free. It suited his needs just fine.

No Caption Provided

The man was named Carson Delhomme and he was a high ranking member of the World Organization for the Betterment of Nature. The WOBN had paid handsomely to send him here to investigate the park and it was well known that they had a presence here. Many members of the organization were concerned about the treatment of the dinosaurs and wanted one of their investigators to inspect it first hand while the park was open to visitors. They had tried repeatedly to get an investigator on site before the park opened but had been rebuffed at every turn.

Carson Delhomme checked his suitcase and made certain it was securely locked and ready. He moved down from the pad and followed the escort sent to guide him around the park in silence. Carson had been a good man once, a stand up member of WOBN but he had been radicalized by certain extreme sects of the organization. He was not here to investigate. He was no longer a good man. He half listened to his guides explaining the wheres and hows of the park but he was mentally determining where certain measures were to be placed and the best way to bring the whole damn system crashing down. It would be impossible to do during the day of course, too many people might spot him. At night though, at night was a different matter.

For now the system was functioning perfectly even as it expanded with the addition of more and more people. The first day was going smoothly and even the dinosaurs seem to be cooperating. Everything was going according to plan. People would love it here, the park would be a huge success. The owner of the park was already thinking about the months and years ahead and ways to expand the park once it took off. He had sunk a great deal of his personal wealth into the park but he had plenty more.

oc:

First of all, all credit goes to the real creator of this event: @orpheus_knightfall

I know this isn't the usual whiz bang OP where everything hits the fan, but Jurassic Park movies never start that way and I don't want the event to start that way either. Let's get some characters on scene and then I'll poke things in motion. Gale Xanders is waiting at the Arrival Point to greet everyone and answer any questions that might be around. (Not that she'll have much time to ;) )

Hopefully you guys agree that a little build up never hurt anyone =). Remember this park is new, it's awesome and you're here to have fun.

Try not to die later.

@gale_xanders:

Sheng and Kumi

Having prepared for the trip ever since they saw the specialized commercials, Sheng and Kumi were sure they wanted to be among the first on the island. Being lovers of both amusement parks and the prehistoric, the pair was at the front of the boat ride in. With gaping smiles and gazing eyes, they childishly laughed and gleefully spoke of the amazing things that would be there. So much so, they built up the excitement of the actual children that were around them. Running about, Sheng and Kumi couldn’t wait to see the surely amazing park.

Large and covered with misty air of fresh moisture, the park was beautiful and clear. The blue sea sparkled with the sun’s waves of heat. The island was wonderfully topped with trees and prehistoric jungle, as the ship drew closer.

Arrival

=====================================================================================

Lillian

No Caption Provided

Invited to join the two excited fighters, the blonde bomber was calmly following them. Not exactly a dinosaur admirer or a lover of nature, like her two companions. As they hopped through crowds of people, with thrilled enthusiasm, Lillian slowly bought her time. She thought about the island, and how it seems very odd how the Jurassic period was somehow resurrected. The secretive blonde believed something was happening behind the curtains.

As she strutted though the crowd, she looked over to see the two grown children celebrating the sight of a dinosaur peeking out of the lush forest. The yelped in joy and glee, paying no attention to the cautious parents that were swarming the area. As Lillian slithered towards them, she stepped close to Sheng. “…don’t you two think it’d be better suited to not stand close to the glass?”, she worried, as the olive man turned to her. Holding a tub of popcorn, he smiled, “Why…like, life holds no caution…”.

=====================================================================================

Grey

No Caption Provided

Stepping of the ship, the wild cowboy was in awe of the sight. “I’s never seen a dino…..I suppose it’d be a sight to see…”, he thought, as he passed bystanders. Steering clear of speeding children and cruising elders, Grey made his way into the park. He mind flushed out the many worries of being on an island of prehistoric killing machines. The outlaw kept his thoughts focused on having a good time. The sandy blonde looked through crowded windows of onlookers. Seeing overgrowth of trees, he smirked at the idea of being out in the midst of it.

Grey eventually turned to see the rest of the park’s visitors. “I’d bet a T-Rex would love to be in here”, his mind bounced to the terrible thought of the wildlife getting loose. With that, his eyes immediately darted to the exits and quickest ways out, in case he would have to use them. “I’s just might need a map…”, the country boy looked for a pamphlet.

@superstay:

Gale Xanders was in the area, making rounds and speaking to people concerned about their own safety. She kept an eye particularly on all the "hatchlings" running around. She smiled a little watching a pair of children stare in awe at the dinosaur with their noses pressed against the glass wall. When she overheard the conversation between Sheng, Kumi and Lillian she decided to interject. She approached them and clasped her hands behind her back.

"The glass wall is perfectly secure against anything that dinosaur can do. I test the glass myself, if the Tyrannosaur ran head first into it at full speed it wouldn't even crack the glass. To further improve the system the pane itself is charged with more than ten thousand volts of electricity on the dinosaur side of the viewing area. That's not enough energy to cause it any harm but it is enough to dissuade it from adventure. The Park designers once considered engineering more docile animals but decided on a more natural animal for everyone to see." Gale Xanders said.

@maverick_6:

"Hey Nemaz you were able to get you know what in right?" Alex remarked meeting up with the field opperative she'd be getting direct training from. She'd left her gear with him expecting her have better luck getting contraband luggage onto the boat. Security was pretty tight they weren't going to let some twenty year old bring pistols arrows and a bow. However a decorated Maverick opperative could likely bring in gear without question and if there would be question he likely had other ways of getting stuff into the compound.

Instead Alex brought her laptop clothes and a variety of pop tarts, she'd avoid that ration garbage if she could help it. With her was also a variety of survival gear, simple stuff that could help her get by if things went south. The suitcase she dragged behind her was strictly for souvenirs should things not go south. All in all it was a mix of field agent and someone on vacation. She was prepped for the worst but really couldn't contain her enthusiasm.

"Amy Argo and Aria were made three years ago, how long do you think this was under construction? We have files on that?" There were some small parts of the globe that had dinosaurs. Those were mostly unknown however and hard to reach. If you did find a dinosaur it was likely made in a lab but those projects were few and hard to fund. This meant few leads to be followed until Alex found the ones responsible for her own pet raptors. And while the triplets were the highlight of Alex's life she intended to give thanks not with money or a hand shake but an arrow through the eye.

Of course Alex was compelled to take off and see the island as soon as possible. Despite being jittery however she would let the commanding officer take point. She'd only just goten out of the brief boot camp. She was skilled in all the physical parts well coordinated stealthy and strategic. She however needed work on her aggression she was quick to action and quicker on the triger. She also was a bit rough in the tech department, her report said she could survive in likely any climet and condition indefinitely. She couldn't hack a computer however if her life depended on it and while she could fix and drive most vehicles she wasn't going to diffuse any bombs.

Mathias, after experiencing all he has, has learned that anything could become a threat. That was especially true where massive beasts that the world hasn't been fit to deal with for millions of years were concerned. Yet, Mat was here on vacation. He would occasionally set out analyzing every part to an exhibit, seeing hundreds of ways things could go wrong. Leaning against the glass and just losing himself to the beauty of these beasts (He has always been able to see the beauty in things almost nobody else would), was a much easier way to spend his day though. So that was what he did.

He saw creatures he had dreamed of as a child, but then it was out of an ignorant ideal that they were all vicious and as a young boy vicious was cool. Now he saw them for what they were, and he had a different appreciation. He fawned over the hatchlings, he was frozen by shock watching gigantic marine carnivores jump up to eat orcas dangling from a line, he even found amusement through fellow guests' joy. His mind just couldn't let him have any peace, he frequently returned to over analyzing each enclosure for security issues.

Feeling hungry, Mathias once again brushed his worry away and moved on, this time looking for something to eat. He found a vendor and got in line, even in a park where gigantic carnivorous beasts were put on display, parents pulled their children in and some took their kids and hurriedly left for an escape from the winged freak, looking back to make sure he was still in line instead of chasing them down. When he finally got to the front, after dealing with glares and whispers the whole way, the vendor looked him up and down with a disgusted face and sent him away with a "We don't serve your kind here"

"Great, there are ignorant hateful bastards everywhere." Mathias harshly said beneath his breath as he walked away. But then he pulled out a needle, injected "a mystery substance", walked back to the vendor and proceeded to give the man hell. First, Mathias grabbed a hot dog "I'd say I deserve this, wouldn't you" then proceeded to stuff it down his throat. Then Mathias picked up the stand and tossed it into the nearby water "Don't serve my kind, huh? Guess what? Now you don't serve anyone." Then Mathias threw his fist at the vendor's face, breaking his nose and knocking the man down "F**k you a**hole" His wings now fully spread, he took flight. Looking down he saw one of those gigantic marine carnivores reentering the water, the vendor's stand now missing from view.

@mth_:

Gale Xanders couldn't help but see the commotion while she was speaking to the others @superstay. She looked up into the sky at Mathias and made eye contact with him. She pointed down at the ground directly in front of her, essentially ordering him to land. There was something about her persona in that moment that was far more commanding than it had been a moment before. After her gesture she made a similar gesture to the surprised Vendor. Waiting for those two she resumed paying attention to the others @superstay.

From his aerial view Mathias could see much of the park, it stretched far across the island and there was even an avian dome of some sort made from glistening glass and gleaming steel. Up there where he was provided a nice view of everything, there were tens of thousands of people at the park and all manner of activities for him to enjoy if he were to calm down.

@gale_xanders: Mathias's little temper tantrum was cut short when a woman on the ground gave him a glare and commanding motion to land that reminded him of his mother. It had been so long since anyone had treated him in such a way, but it's effects were the same if not more drastic. Mathias's smirk was replaced by submissive shame, without any thought Mathias just naturally followed the implied order. When he touched down in front of the woman he didn't speak, he didn't even look up. Mathias stared at the ground, realizing that his childlike behavior was still with him and that he had done something terrible. No Mathias didn't attempt to defend himself or even try to analyze his surroundings for a way out, Mathias waited for his well deserved punishment. As if it wasn't already bad enough, memories of his mother flooded his mind, bringing on tears as he had to think he'd never see her again....and he knew the reason why he wouldn't see her was his father. Tears now cascaded down Mathias's face uncontrollably, not that Mathias was trying to.

Sheng, Kumi, and Lillian

No Caption Provided

With an assuring smile, the olive toned fighter glanced at the informative lady, before peaking at Lillian’s expression of doubt. With the gleeful cheers of the petite Kumi, Sheng rejoined her in enjoyment. The two optimistic pacifists were enjoying the view, and the ferocious animals that roamed the large tree range; “This is awesome”, the athletic dude thought, as he pulled the blonde into the middle of Kumi and him. As they both hugged her in friendship, with huge smiles across their face, the shaggy haired bro cooed to her, “…just enjoy yourself”.

No Caption Provided

As the slender blonde wiggled out of their tight embrace, she flurried her brows, “I don’t know…..something doesn’t seem right. Haven’t you thought about how weird it is that they have just brought these creatures out of a billion years of extinction?”. Questioning the positive man, he looked into her eyes, “That’s the magic of mysticism…the wonder it the beauty, Miss Lillian…”. Before she could reply with more of her worry, Kumi interjected, “…and, they’ve been extinct for 65 million years…”.

As the two ladies smiled, Kumi’s being one of helpful assistance and Lillian being one of friendly sarcasm, Sheng spoke up. “Don’t you ever wonder about the beautiful magic that lies behind a child’s smile?”, he melodramatically toyed with the cautious blonde. Playfully pushing his corniness away, they all started laughing.

=====================================================================================

Grey

Walking around, the cowboy swaggered through crowds. With a smirk of amusement of his face, he felt like a child in a candy store. He moved with contained excitement. He quickly spotted a window displaying more dinosaurs. So, stepping towards it, he chuckled at the content creatures. As the ridged man stared, he couldn’t help but hear one of the bystanders. “…yeah, whatever…but, if something goes wrong, we’re going to be a full course dinner to an island worth of killers”, he looked over to see a blonde squeezed between to presumably tan Asians.

With a announcing laugh, the country boy added his two cents. “Yep, I bet they could smell us in here.....like a can of ham…”, he narrowed his view into the forest, before turning to them. “Hello, the name’s Grey Silver”, he cockily shook Sheng and Kumi’s energetic hands, before noticing the blonde, who paid little attention to him. “…forgive her…she doesn’t take too kindly to strangers…”, the brunette bro stated. Stand equally as tall and broad as Grey, the man gave a friendly tone of voice. The cowboy continued smiling, as the four mingled about little details of their interest in visiting.

As the group talked, the country man turned to see the redhead lady (@gale_xanders:). Smirking with cockiness, he noticed she was the one informing people on this place. She must work here, or something…“…what type of dinos do you have here?”, he asked with eyes of smooth assertiveness glared on her.

"Utahraptors, Tyrannosaur, Pterradons, Ankylosaurus, Apatosaurus, Baryonyx, Dimorphodon, Edmontosaurus, Gallimimus, Metricanthosaurus, Triceratops...to name a few." She said with a smile. "And something our geneticists...put together." She said. "You'll see that one later, it's farther north on the island." She turned her attention to Mathias and the vendor that had also come over. Gale put a hand on Mathias's shoulder gently. "Jurassic World is a discrimination free zone." She said, directly her eyes to everyone, including the three she had been talking to (@superstay). "Please in the future report problems before you act on them." She said, this time directing her sole attention to Mathias. Gale shifted her gaze to the vendor. "Report to the office for disciplinary action."

"But..." He started.

The exceptional of hearing could pick up a very faint animalistic growl that sounded for all the world like it came from one of the dinosaurs, but it was Gale. "Now." She said firmly, dropping her previously friendly tone to something much more frightening and less human. The vendor scurried away. "Sorry for the unpleasantness." She told everyone."Don't be upset." She told Mathias. "Sometimes these things bring out the harshest reactions in people, I want you to enjoy the park, so please get back to looking around and forget about what happened here." She reached into a pocket and pulled out a sphere of amber with a mosquito trapped inside and handed it to Mathias. "Compliments of the park." They normally sold in the souvenir shop for close to one hundred dollars.

Doing her best to keep up with the group she was talking to Gale shifted her eyes to the cowboy and his friends. "Do the four of you have any questions I can answer while you're here?" She asked everyone.

Carson Delhomme had spent most of his time cruising the park with his unwitting guides. They talked at length about the park's security but he already knew the details. Tonight he would come back and begin the process of tearing down the system...but today he simply watched and looked for the best places to come back to at night. It was at the Indominous Paddock that he got his big idea. He smiled a little as he watched the strange dinosaur in action, it moved through the jungle of its paddock as a master of all it surveyed. The thing was white, a genetic monster in a world full of genetic monsters. You'll fit right in with the crazed mutants and so-called meta-human heroes. Come and see the violence in the system...so beautifully designed.

He put his hand on the glass, looking in on the genetic monster. The world is full of freaks. I see no better way to point out the danger they impose than you my friend. You will be our greatest weapon. A monster created by Man that we will use upon Man to show how dangerous monsters can be. The time has come to preserve nature not just from Man but from the freaks that have come out of the pollution and destruction our society has wrought for over a hundred years. We are to blame for meta-humans. Carson smiled again and carried on.

@gale_xanders:

Leon kept having the same dream every night. Every night, he saw nothing, and felt nothing, but he heard the same mysterious words over and over about an emerald door and a lonely journey. He couldn't wrap his head around it, and neither could anyone else. He, Stella, and her father Maurice had been trying everything they could to piece together the puzzle, but they found nothing more than what they'd started with. Maurice had even called every archaeologist, xenologist, and arcanologist he knew to see what they could come up with, but most of them didn't even know what he was talking about. It was clear to them that they weren't going to find out anything else about the Matter Star for a while. But at least they had vacation coming up.

And this wasn't like going to Hawaii. This was Jurassic World. When the three of them saw the commercial for its opening, they knew they had to come, especially since Leon's birthday was that week. The only thing that could've made it better for Leon would be if he were allowed to bring his sword. Ah well, that's life.

A couple weeks passed, and they were finally there. There were so many people, just getting through the door might have warranted medical attention, but they made it. After walking through thick crowds for what seemed like hours, they finally got some room to breathe. "Ughhhhhh, why is there so much walkiiiiiiing? I just wanna see dinosaurrrrrrs," Leon groaned. "I know right? I mean it's not like we walk to school every day." Stella sarcastically remarked, to which Leon replied, "Yeah, but it's summer now, and I don't like walking." Stella just rolled her eyes, wearing her signature smile, which Leon couldn't help but adore.

After a little more walking, they came to a red-haired lady who seemed to work for the park. "Oooh she's cute, dad, you should ask her out," Stella prompted. Every time she saw a nice looking woman, she would try to put her and her father together. "Stella, we've been over this, I'm happy with," Her father started, but she interrupted, shoving him towards her, saying, "Oh, shut it, you're asking her out." He stood nervously in front of the woman, too nervous to speak, at which point Leon was laughing hysterically. Stella hung her head, and did a facepalm, then she walked over to her father and said to the woman "Hi! This is Maurice, and he's a really nice guy, and he wants to ask you something." She then gave him a look which he knew to mean "Ask her!" He scratched the back of his head nervously, and said "Do you.. Do you know where I can find a bathroom?" Stella hung her head in shame. Leon, now laughing even harder, said, "Nice work, Stellarella!" Once he finally stopped laughing, he remembered he had a question too. "A little birdy told me you guys made a super epic dinosaur called Indominous something? Anyway, if someone were to try to, say, ride that dinosaur, how hard would it be for them to do that? Hypothetically speaking, of course."

@gale_xanders:

As Sheng and Kumi stared at each other, they both recollected the odd sound that rose in the lady’s voice. With their high-functioning senses, they heard the growling snarl that snuck under the radar of her voice. As Kumi’s coldly cool nerves kept the same huge smile on her face, Sheng dropped his head, to avoid drawing attention to himself. Rubbing the back of his neck, childishly, he turned back to the window.

The cowboy would have noticed, being so close to her. However, the pronunciation of the creature’s names seemed more important, in his mind. He paid little attention to the lady, as he thought about the reasoning behind giving them such painfully difficult names. As he mouthed the syllables, with eyes planted to the ceiling, he remembered the word she previously said…“…geneticist?”, he mouth. “…wait, why do dinosaurs need geneticist?”, his southern accent questioned.

“…..You have a science program, here?...”, Lillian asked, as Sheng and Grey turned their head up in wonder. Lillian and Grey continued waiting for an answer, as Sheng turned back to the same forest view that the pleased Kumi was gazing out of. Lillian was very eerie of the park. Something unnerved her, and the discovery of them possibly doing test on these creature made her more curiously alarmed. As she patiently waited, Grey felt a similar feeling of eeriness. A science program?...this park was more that a oversized Zoo, like he expected… “What did they put together?”.

Gale smiled a little, she knew where they were trying to go with their father and it was honestly a bit flattering. Even though he asked the wrong question, she answered the right one for him. "I'm pretty busy right now." She pulled out a card and put it into his hand, closing his fingers around it. "Call me in a week." She turned her attention to the rest of the group with him. "The Indominous Rex, it would be exceptionally unlikely and probably lead to horrible dismemberment and death. Unlike a Tyrannosaur the Indominous has long arms capable of reaching parts of its neck. It's also faster and smarter." She smiled. "Do you guys want to see it first? There's a ride that will take you directly there and you can begin your visitation of the park from the north. We could all go, I've been meaning to get up to the northern section of the park and do my rounds up there anyway."

"Also, yes we do have a science program here. The park brought these animals back from extinction by pulling their genetic material out of fossilized mosquitoes. All of the Dinosaurs here have been genetically engineered female to keep them from reproducing and getting out of control. The people behind the park decided to develop something special to celebrate the opening of the park, which would be the dinosaur I just mentioned, the only creature in the park to not have once lived on the face of Te...Earth."

Gale moved over to one of the numerous information computer stations and brought up a holographic map of the park and highlighted the Indominous Rex. "From there you can reach anywhere else in the park. You could take the usual methods to get there or you could all go with me." She said, gesturing to a bracelet on her arm. "Full access to everything in the park, no lines."

@gale_xanders: (got it, off to death I go....perhaps I can be the first death actually, that would be interesting oh well who knows)

Mat simply remained hunched over in the same spot completely detached from the world until he realized that the woman from earlier had just invited him along with a group of other guests a fast track to in Mat's opinion probably the most intriguing exhibit in the park. At this he began walking with new found motivation and confidence towards where the rest of the group was huddled around an information computer station. As he began analyzing the situation, a general habit, he noticed that the woman from earlier had a sort of primal beauty but she was older and well that tends no to end well, and then there was a girl who was probably around his age but the way she was looking at the boy next to her made it obvious they were together, among the group there was a blonde woman who was with some guys but seemed like she wasn't in a relationship with any however as with the guide he could tell she was older(Mat is....well he is not disinterested in women....let's put it that way). After picking out all the girls in the crowd and analyzing his way to reasons why it was pointless to try with any of them he returned to analyzing the environment. If anyone tried to talk to him he would probably jump higher than brachiosaurus, and with wings that's not a figurative statement.

@gale_xanders:

Sheng and Kumi

The four stood in the middle of the group of bystanders. Sheng and Kumi grew excited with anticipation. They were very eager to see the new creature. So much so that they started happily charting the beast’s name, the two fighters began to mildly jump in joy, “…..Indominous Rex, Indominous Rex, Indominous Rex”. Holding hands, they smiled and laughed. As they did, the blonde agent was stepping away from them, out of embarrassment.

=====================================================================================

Lillian

Listening to the lady, the blonde still felt very uncomfortable about this. “She wants to take us to see some beast in the forest?”, she thought, letting a light scoff slipped from her lips. It seemed like this creature was more of a project, by the way the lady spoke of it. A ‘special’ display, to us early visitors, Lillian grew more and more suspicious. He mind darted with thoughts of the weirdness of this situation. As she thought, she believed that her group would not fall prey to this odd place. However, immediately, her eye darted towards the excitement of the two that she came with.

Hopping and chanting the name of this shady beast, they disgusted her, a bit. Shocked and embarrassed, she slowly scooted away from them. Arms folded, she moved over to the distant cowboy. “…what do you think about this…”, she whispered, as she lean into his. But, looking up to see his shoulder, she noticed he was too busy talking to another lady. As Lillian’s face dropped into a dull face of irritated disbelief, she moved away from him.

=====================================================================================

Grey

Gazing deep into the lime green eyes of a mesmerizing beauty, Grey smirked at the face of one of the many visitors. Standing close to her, he spoke with a mix of flirtation and smoothness. From her modelish face structure, to her long pool of brown hair, she struck his eyes, one he saw her. The charismatic cowboy caught her crystal eyes, as well.

Taking advantage of the charm in his drawling accent, he dazzled her with modest stories of his adventurous life. Though, he was also met with the lovely marvel of hearing her gorgeous British accent. Paying no attention to anything outside the reach of her well-figured frame, he didn’t hear any of the words being spoke to the group.

(since Orpheus is going to start the fireworks I thought I'd get us to where we were going first)

"My name is Gale Xanders. I don't have a name tag because normally I will be behind the scenes but the park operators felt it best if I were a visible presence on the first day." She replied. She led the group over to one of the Trams and off they went. It took almost no time at all to arrive at the big Indomenous Paddock.

Gale Xanders was able to take them through the lines and straight to one of the best areas of the building, the VIP viewing box. There was a luxurious buffet set out for everyone and a table to eat at, as well as the giant viewing window. The entire place was full of people ready to see the latest creation in Dinosaur genetics. Gale picked up a chicken wing and made her way over to the window, looking outside into the viewing area. When she took a bite of the wing the particularly perspective or unusually focused on her would note the crunching of bones.

"There she is..." Gale said quietly as the creature moved into the viewing area.

Its roar was deafening even through the glass and the thick armored pane visibly vibrated. There was also something unnerving about it, like one of those paintings where the eyes seem to follow you across the room. Just looking at the dinosaur it looked intelligent, even brilliant by dinosaur standards. Even Gale seemed distracted by it, putting a hand on the glass and looking out at the creature with the gaze of someone who didn't quite trust what she was looking at.

Something about it feels familiar...the way the eyes look at everything it's a calculating, cold look. It looks...if I only I could place where I've seen it before...

@gale_xanders:

Leon, Stella, and Maurice got off the tram, and followed Gale to the Indominous Paddock. They even got to skip all the lines! She led them to a fancy VIP room complete with food, great seating, and the best view in the park. Leon Immediately went for the food, and there was everything. There was pizza and steak and every kind of seafood you could think of, and chinese food and "Tacos! You guys have tacos? Oh man, best day of my life." Leon said, ecstatically. He'd already filled his plate with way too much shrimp and chicken and even a burger, but he ran to get another plate, came back and put four tacos on it. Stella looked at his plates, and said "Thank you!" as she stole the taco plate from him. "No, my tacos!' Leon said, reaching toward the hijacked tex-mex glory.

The two of them sat down next to each other at the table, facing the majestic beast, the Indominous Rex. It was a sight to behold. Of all the dinosaurs they could've seen, Leon knew he was looking at the greatest. He had to get closer to it. "I'm not hungry. I'm gonna go for a walk." Leon declared, getting up from his seat. "What, you're always hungry! And aren't you the one who begged me to see this dinosaur?" Stella said in a frustrated tone. "I'll be back!" Leon replied. He left the VIP room, and wandered around the Indominous Paddock, looking for some way in.

"Well, I could just fly in, but they'd all see me, and I'd get kicked out. There's gotta be a door or something." Leon said to himself. He looked for quite a while, but he couldn't find anything. Finally he gave up, and made his way back to the VIP room. But when he got there, the VIP room security had a change of shift, and wouldn't let him back in. "Come on guys, I was in there, honest! My girlfriend's in there, come on, let me in!" Leon pleaded. "Sorry kid, this room is for special guests only. And let's be honest, you didn't think that was gonna work, did you?" one of them said. Leon let out a yell "Aahh, this is so stupid!" He sent Stella a text: At the door. Bozos won't let me back in.

Stella was admiring the great beast, when she noticed Leon had been gone for a while. "Where is he?" Stella said, frustratedly. She got up to go look for him, but just then, she got his text. "Ugh, you moron!" She said. Annoyed, she walked over to Gale and asked "Hey, I need to ask you a favor. My boyfriend is stupid, and got himself stuck outside the door, and security won't let him in. Could you let him back in for me?"

@gale_xanders: (YAY!!! Orph is coming!!...)

The four individuals made their way to the displaying creature. Following the group, they stayed in the middle of the park’s crowd. As Sheng and Kumi danced into the front of the pack, into the viewing room, they made their way to the viewing glass. With sparkling eyes, they awed in amazement, as the creature roared. Once done, he bared the stare of a strategic killer. A glace of cold darkness, Sheng’s smile softened as he stared into the eyes of the creature. Black, hollow and cold, the olive fighter quickly felt the grim energy coming from the dinosaur. He felt distant from most life…as if he was cold to the world around him.

As the two fighters stood by the glass, the blonde agent stepped lightly. Still near Grey and his new interest, Lillian watched everything on her way to the location. Trying to remember her way back, incase her grim hunch was true, she looked around for exits and weak points. Then, she placed her sly eyes on the window, to see a terror staring back. She got one good look at the frightful beast before turning away from it. “I think we-”, she started before noticing that the cowboy wasn’t paying her any attention.

Still laughing and chatting with the stunning British bombshell, Grey did catch a bit of Lillian’s halted statement. “Huh, what?”, he turned to her, to see her glimpsing at the window. As he looked into her line of viewing, the southerner curiously broke away from them. “What the…”, he muttered, as he walked up to the window. Stepping next to Sheng, he had the same feeling as the fighter…something didn’t seem right about the creature. It had a stare that was unnatural to him.

Being a man who grew up around the wilderness, he has the pleasure (or displeasure) to have met many animals. And, none of them had eyes so cold and shadowy. “…something’s off about it…”, he muttered to himself, before hearing Sheng’s agreement, “Yeah…”. As they stood, Lillian noticed that she was left with the glamorous brunette, who the cowboy was so infatuated with.

Gale Xanders walked over to the door and motioned to the guards to let Leon in, who immediately acted to do so, apparently slightly afraid of their boss.

"Bit unnerving isn't it?" She asked everyone of the Indominous. "The way it looks at you is unsettling. I'm told the exact genetic mix is a secret but I do know it includes Tyrannosaur DNA. I'm not sure why it's scales are white but it certainly makes it unique. This is the only dinosaur in the park that never existed, it was a way for our scientists to test new methods of developing dinosaurs and extracting genetic code."

Gale let them enjoy the display as long as they liked, but eventually the group moved on. Gale Xanders took them through the park that day, giving them the VIP treatment everywhere they went, no expense spared, they even got to see a few behind the scenes areas. The Dinosaurs of the park were true wonders, genetic miracles of science. Fortunately none of them proved as unsettling as the I-Rex. The T-Rex though had its own mystery, it was clearly old, not decrepit old but old, its showed all the classic signs of age, including a certain "get off my lawn" attitude whenever someone got overly close to the viewing glass. Given that every other dinosaur in the park was young and perhaps only a few years old there was something unusual about it. Some of the attractions allowed them to actually pet the gentler dinosaurs or paddle a lazy river alongside the great beasts. The hamster ball ride also allowed unparalleled access.

Unfortunately the day had to end eventually. That night the park was full of promise and wonder, but something else was going on behind the scenes, something that would in danger the lives of tens of thousands. Devices were planted, an attack was readied...and they waited...until dawn.

Just as the park was getting ready to open again, just as everyone was gathering to board their trams for whatever parts of the park they hadn't seen yet, it happened. Gale Xanders was in the park courtyard where everything came together and where the largest crowd was. A dozen restaurants and souvenir shops were busy with the morning's purchases. Suddenly someone said:

"That's weird, my register lost power."

Gale Xanders turned her head slowly towards the vendor. Oh no. The whole power grid was tied together. Viewing monitors shut off, the trams stopped. Oh no no no. She made her way calmly to one of the monitors and rebooted the computer behind it, at least, she tried to, but it didn't respond. She narrowed her eyes. EMP... She'd seen it before in the war, she knew what it looked like.

"Minor technical difficulty." A Park employee was telling everyone. Gale pulled her blu tooth communication device from her belt and stuck it in her ear. Nothing, no sound.

Enough pressure to the system and...The sonic bombs went off. A vast majority of the crowd heard nothing but gale grabbed the side of her head as her more sensitive hearing was assaulted by sonic waves. "SECURITY!" She shouted. Men and women armed with tranq guns came running out of secret locations. It was enough for what she knew was coming the moment the glass failed, but it wasn't going to be enough for the nearest dinosaur. Fortunately, she could take care of that one. Everything else was going to be a bigger problem.

The crowd gasped and started to tense when a long, obvious crack began to form in the glass of the Tyrannosaur Paddock. Ignoring the sonic attack Gale Xanders made her way toward the paddock, pushing her way through an increasingly dense and worried crowd. Worry became panic when the glass shattered and a furious Tyrannosaur stepped out towards the crowd. People parted like the red sea in panick and several small children were left standing in fear less than fifty feet away from the massive carnivore. Gale moved between the dinosaur and the children, their faces reminding her of her own hatchlings from millions of years in the past. She stood facing the T-Rex, spreading her arms out so the children would huddle behind her. She showed absolutely no fear as the massive beast lowered its head until its huge teeth and mouth were less than two inches from her face.

"We going to have a problem?" She asked the dinosaur calmly. The two stared each other down, a strange battle of wills between what looked to be an ordinary human and a dinosaur...What people didn't know was that it was a pair of dinosaurs staring at one another and it was as much a battle of dominance as it was will.Two species that hadn't interacted in millions of years now stood within inches of each other, the larger one afraid of the smaller one for instinctive reasons...but not afraid enough to back down. It was a matter of time before one of them decided to strike.

Across the island dinosaurs were getting lose, the glass barricades shattered by specialized sonic devices. Many of the dinosaurs were essentially harmless...others...others were not. The Indominous Rex was loose and people were going to die there. The Containment Teams were spreading out to do what they could but the attack had taken the entire system down all at once, it was clear they were going to need help and fast.

@gale_xanders:

Sheng and Kumi

Having left the viewing of the Indominous Rex, the two orient fighters went on to visit most of the exhibits. Having laughter and excitement following them, they had a party whenever they appeared. While having tons of fun, they eventually ended up in the presence of the T-Rex. Huge, scarred, and experienced, the creature looked old and wise. With a ferocious roar and appearance, Sheng and Kumi could feel the energy of the grand creature.

Smiling, they were enjoying the presence of the iconic dinosaur. However, in the midst of doing so, they heard a screeching wave of piercing sound. Loud and irritating, to them, they flinched in pain. Immediately afterwards, the power went out. “oh…this can’t be good”, Kumi stared at the once-lit lights fixtures. With caution in her eyes, she kept herself calm. With her solid-sized mentor standing behind her, she stood still, until the viewing window busted.

Jumping back, Kumi watched Sheng continue standing forward. Turning to her, the humongous dinosaur stepped out of his exhibit. The beast turned to the children, as the olive fighter faced his pupil, “I have a very bad feeling…go find Lillian and Grey…”, he stated, before turning back to the terrifying creature

No Caption Provided

As Kumi vanished in thin air, Sheng started trying to get the creature’s attention. “Hey, bro…tee tee…..over here”, he whistled and called, before disappearing. Noticing that his attempt was not working, he teleported onto the T-Rex’s head; “…hey bro…it’s okay, it’s o-kaayyy!”, he way eventually thrown from the beast. Crashing into the wall, Sheng dropped to the ground to see the dinosaur turning to him. “…Yeah…I can see how mighty you are, bro…”, he hesitantly complemented, as the T-Rex stalked after him. Backtracking through the hall, he noticed how share it’s teeth were. “Uh…..move out the way!”, he yelled, as he continued drawing the beast’s attention. With a wall-shaking roar, the creature charged the passive dude, as Sheng sprinted away from everyone. “…..oh my…I didn’t fully think this through”, he blurred through the halls, with the dinosaur heavily on his tail.

=====================================================================================

Lillian

Seeing the park’s power go out, the blonde knew something went wrong. She stood in the park’s hotel room, overviewing the island. As she made her way to her purse, she noticed the appearance of Sheng’s pupil, in her midst. The petite woman was now wearing a white fox mask. “…something is happening…”, Kumi stated, as she walked up to the agent. Seeing the agent redress into a dark blue full-body suit, Lillian looked at her. “I know…where’s Sheng?”, the cautious blonde asked, before the other lady informed her. “He’s handling a T-Rex”, Kumi nonchalantly stated, to get a dryly curious look in return.

“Where’s the cowboy?”, the fox-masked girl asked, as she glanced out of the window. With Lillian making sure her suit was in good condition, she dawned her sunshades, and was quickly informed about the recent EMP-type blast. Turning back to Kumi, the readied blonde spoke, “I think he took that British girl on a date, or something…”.

=====================================================================================

Grey

On one of the park’s riverside boat tours, the southern cowboy was enjoying the beautiful view of the jungle. He watched the lovely dinosaurs that stood in the water, biting at the river-roofing treeline. His eyes were returned to the lovely beauty that was scooting closer to him. Their small raft sailed through the deep region of swampy water, when they realized to informational guild had started to die out. Going black, the two paid no attention, since they were deep in conversation.

No Caption Provided

But, Grey’s attention soon changed, when he saw a team of ‘containment officers’ running through the jungle. With a rose brow, he watched the team, as the Brit lied on his shoulder. “…what’s happening, there?”, he thought, as the boat continued flowing down stream. Still watching them, he turned his attention to the tree line, before hearing the sound of a monstrous roar, followed by unison of slithering snarls. Darting his head around, he heard gun shots. Then, he suddenly saw a pack of four Deinosuchus slide into the river.

Immediately, he closed the ball-like roof of the round raft. “What’s going on?”, the lady worried, before he tried to calm her. Holding her still, he saw the giant prehistoric alligator completely tipped over an unfortunate couple. He shockingly watched them scream in fright, as terrorist jaws snapped around them. Knowing that that could happen to them, he opened the pod. “Okay…I have to step outside…..lock this, once I’m out”, he instructed the now scared woman, who clanged at him to stay. But, he had to draw attention away from the raft, so he crawled out of it.

Locking it up, he stood over it, staring into the deep water. “…here gator, gator, gator”, he gripped his revolver, before seeing one of the huge beasts leap onto the ball-like pod. With a fury of six shots, he stared the creature in its intimidating mouth, as it bite him and took him under. Fighting and struggling, he cried out in pain, as the beast tried to get a better grip. Surrounded by murky swamp water, Grey ripper out his lengthy bowie knife; And, with a stab to the creature’s jaw, he felt the beast let loose.

Popping up above the water, he gasped for air, as his blood poured into the river. He saw the brunette hugging the edge of the pod, watching him presumably doomed fight. Not seeing his wounds heal under water, she screamed for him to get back to the boat. But, as she did, her pod drifted into a rocky down fall, before dropping off of a small waterfall. With gaped eyes, he started to regain himself, before swimming to the edge. However, as he began to get a hold of the rocks, the same Deinosuchus reimaged. Practically flying out of the water, the mighty monster scooped him up, as both of them soured over the crashing waterfall.

@gale_xanders:

"♫Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, dear Leon! Happy birthday to you!♫" Leon awoke to Stella and Maurice's questionable singing. He didn't like waking up early, but this wasn't the worst thing to wake up to. He remembered one time, when he was 6, he woke up to a fire in his house. Being the only one home, his parents blamed him, even though he had slept through most of it. And what's worse, the scolding they gave him was the last Leon ever saw of them. He never found out if they were dead, or if they abandoned him, but that day, they just disappeared. Today, however was a better day. Today was going to be the first good birthday Leon would have in a long time. Or so he thought.

Leon, Stella and Maurice had already seen everything they wanted to see, so they decided to go to see the T-rexes again. But first, snacks. They all loved cotton candy, so they each bought a blue one from the vendor to munch on as they observed the curious T-rexes, but just as they were about to pay, Leon dropped his, became stiff, and his eyes began changing to every color from red to violet, while his red finger shot foreign electricity out towards the ground. "That's weird, my register lost power." Said the vendor lady. She tried to fix it, but to no avail. "Sorry about that. I guess they're on the house." Stella and Maurice looked at each other confused, and shrugged. They turned around to see Leon completely stiff with brite-lite eyes. "Leon!" Stella shouted, running over to him, grabbing both of his arms, shaking him with no results. "Leon, say something!" Finally, he turned into several colors of light, which spiraled in a circle where he was standing, and he vanished!

The Johnsons

Tyrannosaur Paddock

"Leon!!!!" Stella screamed louder. "Leon!!!!!!" She didn't know what else to do, so she just kept calling his name. Maurice noticed the crack in the Tyrannosaur Paddock's glass, so he said "Stella, it's not safe, we have to go." "No!" Stella said "We can't leave him!" "He's not here! And we shouldn't be either." Maurice replied, but as he was speaking, he noticed Gale heading toward the Paddock. She seemed to Maurice to be very on task, so he figured she might have an idea what was going on. He started following her, saying to Stella "Let's follow her, I think she knows something!" The girl and her father ran through the crowd to catch up to Ms. Xanders, but at that moment, the glass shattered, and they paused. They watched Gale run straight up to a T-rex, and get into a staring match with it. They weren't exactly qualified, but there were children whose lives were at stake, so they ran to Gale to try to help, when Sheng, who was with them the day before distracted it and led it away from the children. Maurice then turned to Gale and said "What's happening? Everythings crazy! All the power is out, that dinosaur is loose now, and Leon vanished!"

Leon

???????

Leon found himself in a strange place, that was clearly not Jurassic World. There were trees, but they didn't appear to be living. Instead, they looked like black bones and not wood. He turned around to try to figure out where he was, and he saw a large grey castle, which was being attacked by thousands of dark-looking ghosts. He held his hand out toward one of the smaller trees, and it uprooted and flew towards his hand. In his hand, it morphed into a white glowing scythe, which he flew with towards the ghosts, cutting them down one by one. He broke into the castle, and found a white ghost. "Who are you, where am I, and why am I here?" He asked the apparition. "I brought you here. Why? That does not matter. Nor does who I am matter." The apparition said. The ghost dissipated, then reformed right in front of Leon. It grabbed him by his powerful finger, held Leon's finger up above its ghostly head, and the finger began to turn black. "Okay, I'll tell you. You're going to do some housework for me." It said, and his finger shot white light all throughout the castle, killing every ghost inside the castle. Once all of the dark ghosts were destroyed, he dropped Leon and said "You've served your purpose. Now get out." He spun the air behind Leon and opened a portal, which began to suck Leon in. He swung his scythe into the floor to keep from being pulled into the portal, but he was unable to hold onto it, and he was taken by the portal, screaming. The scythe was also pulled out of the ground, and followed Leon into it.

The Grasslands

Leon was violently thrown out of a portal in the park opening up in the grasslands, closing behind him, where the dinosaurs should've been mostly calm, but were on edge for some reason. He grabbed his new scythe, which was lying on the ground, and he flew towards a group of Stegosaurs that were chasing an observation orb. They shouldn't be that aggressive, this was wrong. He slashed the ground between the stegosaurs and the guest, who was probably scared out of his wits, and a large wall of rock sprung up from the ground, blocking the stegosaurs from the guest. They roared at Leon for a moment, then they gave up, and walked away. What is going on?" Leon thought. Well, I guess I can't have a good birthday, after all. Wait, Stella! I gotta find her! He flew off, trying to get back to the Tyrannosaur Paddock, but he was intercepted by four pteranodons, who were not exactly here to throw Leon a party. They flew at him, trying to pick him apart, but he just barely was able to dodge them. "You want a piece of me?" he said, "Fine! Come get some!" He flew towards one of the pteranodons, and swung his scythe at it, but it flapped backwards, and flew off, as did the other pteranodons. "Yeah, that's right!" He triumphantly shouted. He didn't know why they flew off, but he didn't care. The only thing on his mind now was Stella, and he flew off to find her, hoping she'd be safe at the Tyrannosaur Paddock, not knowing about the Paddocks being breached. Now if only he knew which way that was...

It was times like these Gale was glad she was a paranoid scientist from a different time. With the power grid down she needed information and a way to restore at least some of the power. Though she was reluctant to reveal any obviously advanced technology, there were the lives of hatchlings at stake. Once the Tyrannosaur was distracted she glanced at Stella and removed a small sphere from her pocket. She pressed her finger to it and the sphere lit up and started to glow blue before she tossed it into the air. The little sphere hovered between them. Even with panic all around them Gale was a sea of calm, as if she'd done this a million times before. Or as if the dinosaurs simply didn't scare her. Gale focused on the sphere. "Access security grid Delta Three."

The sphere projected one dozen holographic windows displaying various actions around the park. It seemed all the dinosaurs were free. She nodded to herself, as if she had suspected just such a thing. "Terrorist attack." She told Stella at last and pointed to several of the images where shattered glass paddocks were visible. "None of the animals in this park are strong enough to break one of those, but if you vibrate glass at the right frequency and for the right duration you can bring the whole system down. I told them to replace it but they didn't view the Park as a likely terrorist target. Even if the Paddock walls had shattered there would normally still be a vast electrical field that would keep the animals from escape...that's why they shut the power off. There are backup generators and they'll start kicking on soon, but it's too late for the fields to stop anything. The containment teams will eventually bring most of the animals under control, which means we need people to focus on the ones they can't."

She pulled one of the windows from the sphere simply by touching it and spread it out...it showed the Indominous Paddock...it was like something out of hell, there was blood and gore everywhere and the creature had clearly escaped. Another window showed it stalking through the jungle. "Like that one...and the Tyrannosaurs. Fortunately the aquatic creatures are still mostly self contained." She looked to another window and expanded it. There were Raptors on it, still contained. Raptors had not been on the map..."Owen will want to deploy the Raptors." She looked over at Stella for a moment. "There are three safety locations we can use immediately if you can help me. If we can get the crowd into the bunkers or into the Raptor zone we can keep them safe there."

Gale removed a rectangular box about the size of a man's fist from her pocket and handed it to Stella. "This is a...don't ask. Take it to the generator bunker south of here and plug it in, it will bypass the fried power relays and restore park wide communications. If we do that, we can direct the crowd." Gale pulled her shirt up above her belt line to expose a pair of sickle shaped knives that looked for all the world like raptor killing claws attached to a handle. The knives were designed so that the claw would fit between the two middle fingers of the hand, like a natural extension of the body. It would be difficult for a human to use such weapons. She slipped the knives off their belt loops and slid one weapon into place on her right hand. The other she held onto for a moment. "Stella, I'm going to find your friend and I'm going to confront the I-Rex." She used her free hand to remove what turned out to be contact lenses, revealing reptilian eyes. It needs to know what it's dealing with. I think I remember where I saw that stare before. She pocketed the contact lenses. "If you don't see me again, get everyone off this island and forget you saw me take these lenses off." She desperately hoped no one would try to aide her against the I-Rex, she didn't expect to survive and didn't want to get someone else killed in the process. (I of course expect people to help out anyway ;) )

"Regardless of anything else." She said after moment. "Protect the hatchlings." She said, too focused to remember to call them children but her tone made it clear she meant the children, not random dinosaur hatchlings.

-----------------------------------------------------

Up in the air Leon soon found a big problem...the I-Rex was loose and was heading straight for the most populated region of the park. The huge creature stalked with the stealth and agility of a raptor and moved with clear purpose. Everything that got in its way it killed without a moment's hesitation.

The T-Rex roared as it ran after Sheng. The huge dinosaur was fast but it was also old, its speed had tapered off over time and all of that would be good news for Sheng. Unfortunately as he ran he had another problem brewing. Up a head of him was a smaller, younger T-Rex intent on challenging the much larger and older one now that it was loose. The younger dinosaur carried itself with the arrogance of youth and would think nothing of stepping on or eating Sheng if he wasn't careful.

@gale_xanders:

Sheng

Speeding with peak pace, the olive bro was surprised by the sight of the elder slowing down. Beginning to grow tired, the Rex stopped in its hulking tracks. It stared at Sheng, as if it wanted to continue, but physically couldn’t. As it started to slump over, the speeding fighter halted in a skidding fashion. He turned to face the dinosaur, which lied a few yards from him. Curiously wondered, he vanished in a cloud of mist. White and damp, the smoke faded as Sheng reappeared three feet from the tyrannosaurus. “…you okay, bro?”, the shaggy hair pacifist stood before the creature, in the middle of a frantic field of fleeing folks.

With a rapidly calming feeling taking hold of him, Sheng walked up to the snout of the beast. Growling in defensive warning, the fighter held out is hesitant hand, before continuing to still the hostility in his person. Drowning out the panicking people, the dude pressed forward, knowing he needed to keep the animal’s attention on him. He made contact with the now weary dinosaur. Using his relaxed spirit to calm the creature into a peaceful state, the T-Rex started to grow sleepy, as it slumped onto the ground.

With a smile, Sheng hugged the creature, “…it’s okay, bro…it’s okay, Rexie…”. With silence surrounding their natural meditational state, they both heard the roar of a fresher aggressor. Followed by a chain of stomping steps that got louder in approaching manner, the olive man was then startled by the assertive growl of the exhausted dino. “no, no, no…”, he muttered in worry, as he turned to face the unknown danger. Eyes widened from intimidation, he gazed upon the furiously aggressive predator. “Stay here, Rexie…I’ll handle this”, Sheng calmly assured the tired tyrannosaurus. Turning his face back to the new monstrous creature, and away from the elderly Rex, the human fighter had a face of scared regret, as he stepped forward.

With a forced smirk, the brunette saw the younger beast start to change them. With a jump of frantic surprise, Sheng took a deep breath, “…okay…”. And, with the hum of a tune on his lips, he sprinted towards the vicious animal. As they drew closer, in an intense game of chicken, the mystic fighter leaped high into the air. He soured straight for the beast’s gaping mouth. “YIKE!”, he yelled as he darted in. In a instance of gripping the rimming teeth, Sheng disappear right before rows of razor teeth could close around him. Reappearing on the head of the creature, he held tightly, as the dinosaur shook his irritated head, in annoyance.

Using his teleportation to keep himself on the strengthful animal, whenever he was thrown from him, Sheng watched the surroundings. “…get to safety!…don’t mind the two creatures, especially this one”, screamed to the running bystanders. Still being slung, he muttered under his overwhelmed breathe, “…even if it could rip you apart”. With a petting rub to the creature’s head, he cooed, “isn’t that right…you could rip them apart…”. Yelping from the force, Sheng found himself swinging around the creature's body, before seeing the old dinosaur continue to try are stand, to defend itself. The fighter knew he had to be more of a pest to the aggressive beast, in order to distract it away from the exhausted animal. "Come on, bro...you don't want that old thing", he tried to negotiate, before noticing he was hang from the t-rex's mouth again. Feeling the heated breath of the monster's roar, he frightful smiled, while staring into the man-sized throat, "hehe...you want a breathe mint...". The dino continued shaking Sheng around, growing more and more frustrated, as his failure of catching the pest.

Grey

Water poured and sprayed throughout the pod that lied at the waterfall’s bottom. With misty moisture sprinkling through the area, the cowboy was staring up at the sky. Watching a group of birds fly around in a haze instinctual flee, the rugged southern boy was stretched across of jagged rock. Soaked from the stream, his body was covered in blood. He couldn’t move or breathe properly, as he lied with a stomach of sharp tooth marks.

Grey grunted in pain, as his body started to heal, rapidly. Although his body had lost enough blood to fatally kill him, the country boy smirked at the comfort he took in his supernatural abilities. With the tremble of death lying near, the scars shrunk and eventually healed. As they did, his energy rose back to a point of movability. So, he slowly gathered himself, and got to his feet. As he stood, his hearing was torn away from the rapid beating in his chest, to notice the painful hissing of his attacker. Grey stared at his former foe with wonder, while seeing that the creature took the majority of the fall.

Stepping closer to it, he knew the beast was too far towards death, to reemerge. Its jaw was broken, and three of its legs were crushed, as it lied impaled by a sharp boulder. “Wow…I bet you wish you were in my shoes, huh?”, he subtly joked, as he stepped closer. Staring the beast in the eyes, he saw the pain that rested behind its instinctual urge to fight. “…well, I’m sorry, friend…..”, he sincerely spoke, as he pulled out his machete. Walking around the whimpering creature, he quickly settled the beast. Raising his sword high, “may you rest in peace, as well as you hunted in life…”, the wilderness man dug his blade into the brain of the creature, ridding it of its pain. Pulling out a cross around his neck, he closed his eyes, in prayer. "Dios guíe tu alma asustada a través de pastos de la leche y la miel. Y, tu corazón va a descansar en el amor y la paz armoniosa dichosa .....", prayed in the native tongue of his Spanish mother, before motioning the cross into a cross symbol, then kissing it and placing in on the temple of the battered animal.

Grey took a few breaths of fresh air, as he shook his soaked hair out of his face. Immediately seeing the pod, he noticed it was empty. He jumped off of the dead body, before making his way through the pond. He found himself at the head of the wrecked pond, to hear a scream come from the forest. Whipping his eyes into the dark abyss of prehistoric jungle, he knew it was her voice. Rushing to her, he grabbed his rifle with worry, and charged the uncertain area. Cluttered with undergrowth that halted most, and overgrowth that shadowed the scene, he stalked the sound. As he hurried, he saw her heels scattered along the green grass. Grey wearily approached them, before hearing her scream again.

Leon

The Grasslands

As Leon scanned the area from the skies, he was horrified when he saw something similar to a horror movie. The Indominous Rex had escaped, and it was killing people left and right, ripping through their bodies like paper, leaving their bodies in pieces everywhere. The False Dinosaur was so focused on carnage, that he didn't even take time to eat. It was as if he was hunting for the thrill, rather than to survive. Leon was even more horrified when he noticed that it was headed straight for the docks! Whatever had happened, it had devastated the park, and everyone was trying to leave. Leon had wanted to find Stella, but he couldn't find it in his heart to abandon these otherwise doomed guests, so hew flew straight towards the Indominous, who had just picked up a child, and threw to the side. Just in time, Leon caught the child, being pushed forcefully himself into the ground. He set the child down, and asked her "Are you alright?" "Mmhmm," the little girl said. "Okay," he replied "Now run! I'll take care of this guy." The little girl nodded and continued running towards the docks.

Leon knew that he couldn't let the great beast reach the docks, so he quickly spun his scythe in his hands, creating a large gust of wind to stop the creature from advancing. But it wasn't large enough. The dinosaur began to slowly advance, and then it advanced more quickly, until it was running at full speed, almost unhindered by Leon. It opened it's monstruosly large mouth, and bit with deadly force at Leon, who quickly moved back, but it caught his scythe between his teeth, and shook it's head, throwing Leon away from itself. It spit the scythe out, and went back to chasing the people headed towards the docks, much further behind now. Leon quickly regained his composure, and flew towards the monster, which had just reached the entrance to the docks, where thousands of people were frantically boarding boats to leave.

The Docks

Leon caught up just in time to meet the foul thing right at the iconic gate which read "Jurassic World". He floated in the air there, in the middle of the gate, pointing his scythe at the Indominous, daring it to advance. Being as vile as it was, it did, and it slashed its deathly sharp claws at Leon, who blocked each slash with his scythe, but was pushed backwards in the air by each strike. The lizard looked back, and noticed two boats that were casting off. He bit the gateway, ripped it out of the ground, and, with its head, threw it at one boat, leaving a huge hole in the side. He let out a mighty roar at Leon, who he hit down to the ground with his claw, and he ran straight for the other boat, and he dug his claws into the concrete ground of the docks, ripping out a large chunk, which he threw straight at the center of the other boat, splitting it in half. Leon got up, and saw the boats the terrible beast had destroyed. "No!" He shouted. He flew straight at the face of the Indominous, slashing his weapon of unnatural light at it, leaving large scars. The Indominous struck Leon with his claws, and roared an unnaturally load roar. It was so loud that Leon lost his hearing, if for a moment. Leon, now temporarily without hearing, got up again, and flew again between the beast and the horrified people. He held out his hand toward the ground, trying to melt it, and cover the monster in molten concrete, but he didn't have the control over his powers he needed. He did however, manage to crack the ground it was standing on, and it fell through the ground, into the water. He started to regain his hearing, and, thinking the beast would drown, he soared towards the sinking boats, picking up all the people he could find in the water.

As he was picking up an elderly woman to take to the remaining ground of the docks, the Indominous Rex leapt out of the water, arms forward, to cut Leon in two. He quickly flew to the side, and then to the docks, and set the woman on the ground. He pointed with his ruby-colored finger at a now empty half of the second decimated boat, and, as his finger began to glow pure white, he lifted his arm, the boat chunk following where ever he pointed, and he threw it into the Indominous, hitting it all the way through a barrier between the docks and the grasslands. He followed the beast, and it landed on the ground, with the half of the boat on top of it. Leon lifted the ground beneath the monster, making a smooth, large ramp, sliding the deadly dino back into the grasslands, where it couldn't harm anyone else.

The Grasslands

Just then, he heard on the intercoms "Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3." "Stella! She's okay!"Leon thought. "Hey, everyone! I know you're all scared, but if everyone cooperates, we'll all be okay! Now listen carefully. If you can, you need to make your way to the docks, and evacuate the island." "No, don't send them to the docks!" "If you're unable to reach the docks, there are bunkers around the island, that park employees will help you find. If you can't reach any of these bunkers either, then make your way to the raptors. Above all, stay calm! We have everyone working as hard as they can to get the park back in order. Until then, do everything you can to stay safe." After the instructions were over, Leon knew there would be trouble. People would be coming in troves to the docks now, and there weren't any boats to take them anywhere! And to make matters worse, The Indominous Rex was right there on the way to the docks, and would kill anyone coming. Leon knew he had to try to lead it away from the Grasslands entirely, otherwise, all the people trying to get to the docks would be in serious trouble. He flew over to the dinosaur, who threw the half of the boat off of itself, and roared at Leon once again, charging him, and biting at him. Leon flew around his head, and cut at its neck, but its scales were tough, and he hardly made a scratch. It turned its head backwards, biting at Leon, and, catching his jacket, threw him on the ground. It stomped at the ground with the force of a falling skyscraper, and nearly crushed Leon, who rolled to the side just in time. Leon slashed at its feet, and it buckled in pain, catching itself with its arms. It got back up, and spun around, hitting Leon with its tail. He bounced several times on the ground, and, now in severe pain, got back up, and flew at its face again, trying to hurt its head again, but the beast was ready this time, and it opened its mouth as Leon got close. Unable to stop in time, he lodged his scythe between his jaws, and cracks of a deep black color started to appear on the scythe. He grabbed the scythe, spun himself around it to the outside of the putrid mouth, and pulled the scythe out. He swung it downwards at the head of the beast, and when it hit the beast between the eyes, it shattered like glass into white shards of light, which faded away, leaving a black scythe of smoke, which quickly dissipated into the air. Leon was now tired, beaten up, and weaponless, and it looked as if the Indominous was only getting started. He knew then that he would not be able to defeat this beast alone.

The Johnsons

Tyrannosaur Paddock

Stella grabbed the mysterious sphere, and ran straight down to the generator bunker, putting it in her purse. Her father followed her, saying "Stella, wait! Take this!" He threw her a sleek, futuristic looking gun. She looked at it and said "Where did you get this?" "Doesn't matter." he replied. "Don't worry about ammo, it doesn't run it." "Sweet." She said, holding it out, and pointing it at forward, then to the right a little, then to the left a little, feeling really awesome. Stella and Maurice, who had his own pistol, ran with her to the bunker, where five raptors found them, and started to attack them. "Raptors!?" Stella exclaimed "What are they doing here? And aren't they supposed to be tame?" One of the raptors leapt at Stella, who shot it square between the eyes, and a plasma bolt burn a two-inch hole through its skull, and it fell to the ground where Stella was standing, as she side-stepped it. Then two of them ran at Stella from behind, both of which Maurice shot several times before they could reach her. The remaining two tried to run off, but their shock collars shocked them as they tried. They turned back around, and charged Stella and Maurice, who shot them both over and over until they fell right in front of their feet. Maurice, still on his feet, bent his legs down, and inspected the raptors, and noticed that their shock collars were still online. "That's strange. Why are these on, and nothing else?" He said. He stood up, and said to Stella "Let's keep moving." with a tone like he'd experienced this kind of thing before.

Generator Bunker

Stella and Maurice reached the Generator Bunker, and found the door already open. They looked at each other, and ran inside. When they got to the central room, they found a man, sitting in a metal, fold-up chair, with his arms crossed and smiling. He stood up and said, "Correct me if I'm wrong, but you two are here to fix the power, aren't you?" "That's right." Stella said. "Oh, well I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that." replied the man in a tan shirt. "Why not?" Stella yelled. "Because we need this place to fall." he answered. "My name is Carson Delhomme, and I'm here to show the world what unhindered power and strength can do to it. The devastation it causes, the horrors it creates. And we can't do that if you go fixing everything." "The only one I see causing devastation here is you!" Stella shouted, pointing her plasma gun at him, while Maurice did the same. "It's a shame you can't see it our way. Well, you know what Jesus said; 'The one who is not with me is AGAINST ME!'" He replied, throwing the chair at the both of them. As they dove out of the way of the chair, Stella to the left, and Maurice to the right, he pulled out a six-shooter, and shot one bullet at Maurice, which grazed his hair, just barely missing his head. Stella and Maurice ducked behind computers linked to the currently dead power grid, which were built on stone, and fired back at him. He leapt to his right, just barely dodging the plasma bolts, and he shot two bullets at Stella, who quickly ducked before he pulled the trigger. She peeked her head back up, and shot another bolt, which caught the side of his left arm. He shot again, but at the same time, Stella fired her gun, and her plasma melted his bullet, and, would've hit him dead in the chest, if he hadn't moved to the side as he was shooting. However, as he dodged Stella's bolt, he moved straight into one of Maurice's, which took off his left ear. He grabbed his ear with his left hand, and, infuriated, he shot at Maurice, and shot again, but when he pulled the trigger a third time, he heard a "click" He'd run out of bullets, so he threw the pistol on the ground, and ran out a side door, with Stella and Maurice shooting bolts at him the whole way.

As he left, the two Johnsons pointed their guns up, and stood up. They looked around, and saw that they were incredibly lucky, and that nothing important had been shot. Stella ran to the center of the room, and found what she was supposed to plug the box into. She took the purse off of her shoulder, pulled out the box, and plugged it in. After about a minute, computers started turning back on in the room. Stella found the intercom computer, and hit the button for a park-wide announcement. She took the microphone, which was on the computer desk, and said "Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3. "Hey, everyone! I know you're all scared, but if everyone cooperates, we'll all be okay! Now listen carefully. If you can, you need to make your way to the docks, and evacuate the island. If you're unable to reach the docks, there are bunkers around the island that park employees will help you find. If you can't reach any of these bunkers either, then make your way to the raptors. Above all, stay calm! We have everyone working as hard as they can to get the park back in order. Until then, do everything you can to stay safe." She put the mic back on the desk, and said, "Okay, let's go find Leon!" She ran out of the room with her father, and they went back to the Tyrannosaur Paddock to find Gale, but she'd already left to confront the Indominous.

Tyrannosaur Paddock

The children were still waiting there, with no idea what to do. Stella stood up on the Cotton Candy Cart, and shouted "Okay, children! We're going to get to safety, alright? Everyone follow us to the bunker!" She got down from the cart, and Stella and Maurice motioned for the children to follow them. They were walking back to the bunker with the children, when they ran into a few park employees. Maurice introduced himself to them, and said "These children aren't safe here, can you lead them to the bunker?" "Certainly," they replied. "Come on, children. This way!"

Stella and Maurice, stood there, and watched the children go with them to the bunker. They turned around, and saw Sheng struggling with the T-rexes. They ran towards the kingly lizards, and began to shoot at them, trying to corral them back into the paddock. The older one backed up slowly, and turned around, running back into the large, homely cage. The younger one, however, charged the both of them at full speed. They jumped out of the way just in time, but it stopped just as it passed them, turned around, and was about to snap its jaw into Stella, when Maurice shot at its left eye, leaving it one eye blind. It screamed in pain, and Maurice shot at its head again, and kept doing so until it fell on the ground, dead. The two of the got back on their feet, and ran over to Sheng. Maurice Looked around to see if anything else wanted to kill them, but seeing nothing, he asked Sheng, "Are you alright?"

"But of course. There is no need for concern. Ms Ashworth, let's just worry about our actual luggage, shall we?"

Apex was generally considered one who was very combat ready already, a bit rough around the edges at first but in the end she was smoothed out. Not everyone needed to know how to hack or diffuse bombs, as there were jobs in Maverick for people to do such things and other opportunities to acquire such skills. What made Apex attractive as an employee was the combination of her skills, capabilities and her powers.

Notably, she received something that would aim in discreet communication. A device that allowed for a form of "R-Telepathy." It was essentially an invisible tattoo that sent signals andvibrated the skull, making for completely silent, but discreet communication. This was a key item to allow trained personal to essentially have "Telepathy" through these devices.

"Remember, Ms. Ashworth, this is a mission. Have fun. It looks natural. But don't forget the primary objectives. Particularly if we are called into action. Be alert."

Nemaz says "telepathically", lugging around a rather large amount of their things with him, mostly because he had the strength to do so. It seemed only courteous, and Nemaz himself had packed rather lightly for this trip. Nemaz was completely in civilian clothing, with access to his an Apex's gear, but there was no need for that. To everyone else, they would mostly appear to be any other person, simple tourists.

"But if the park is secure, this can be a simple mission of simply observing the area and verifying it's wildlife. This can be a very simple and potentially enjoyable mission."

The very next day....

"It was rather enjoyable while it lasted."

Nemaz was loading a modified XM-109 Rifle. The weapons and gear of both of them lied within their hotel room already, and Nemaz was practically fully kitted up.

No Caption Provided

"I do regret that this has occured. I really thought that perhaps they could control their wildlife. Fascinating creatures." As a velociraptor attempts to pounce a hapless tourest, the upper half of it's head vaporizes in an instant from the well placed anti-material rifle gunshot. His scope wandering as he picks off target after target. "What a shame." He fires another shot through the skull of a charging triceratops, causing it to fall and come to heavy, dragging halt on the concrete.

"I don't suppose you're up for a little reconnaissance, are you, Apex?"

"Be alert? You know who your talking to right amigo?" She remarked telepathically, the mental comm took some getting used to and hurt at first but she'd been getting the hang of it now. She was disappointed by it's invisible nature however. A tattoo would of been cool and she wasn't the biggest fan of things she couldn't see.

Her eyes were always alert and so keen that she couldn't miss something even when she blinked. Alex could tell who was texting friends and who wanted their parents to think they were. She could spot what staffs did with their hands. Her eye sight was one of her greatest assets and had made the day a joyous one. She'd pointed out where the dinos hid for kids and shown Nemaz where the predators waited for their meals eager to give chase. And of course the soldier who was begging to explore the world was one of the ones who could go on and on about the creatures and their habitats.

She had an empty luggage bag for souvenirs and by the end of the day she had enough to fill it. Clothes mostly. She did however spend a hundred bucks on a remote control raptor that could leap and roar that had to be built but would be about the size of a cat. She was going to have her raptors chase it like a cat with a laser pointed. And then of course the raptors would destroy it and be rewarded with steak. Night came to an end though and the next day the real mission began.

She woke to sirens and distant screams, immediately slipping on shoes and tying a park hoodie around her waist incase things got cold. A touch of her finger and the suitcase was sent back home, while the backpack was once more flung over her shoulder. Her gear laid out was quickly equipped with record time fit for a soldier. "Would of preffered a shower before shit hit the fan but work calls."

She drew her bow and took aim, "stegosaurus eight o clock" an arrow rupturing the creatures eye from hundreds of feet out and up the words said over mental comms. "Raptor pack food court five o clock" three arrows were fired in rapid succession landing three headshots on moving targets. She continued to fire with standard arrows downing what should have been hard to stop titans. It was only after teleporting the arrows back that she realized she had been telepathically saying her targets and where they were.

"Sorry you can tell me to shut up if you want." She remarked casually as the sirens softened enough to be talked over. "Beautiful as they are no zoo can just open the cage doors. Can we look into the labs, see if we can find a clue who did this or if their was alterior motives and plans?" Of course looking after the civilians she knew was also important. She knew however that this was the classic scenario of a target and intel being potentially more important.

Sheng

Kneeling over the head of the fallen creature, the olive martial artist felt the life energy leaving the dinosaur. With sweat pouring down his body, he exhaled a cry of regret. “No, no, no, no, no, no, no…NO!”, Weakly fell on to the creature’s dead face. “WHY!, why did it have to be?...you just had to!”, he yelled to the heavens. Sheng cried a weep of remorse, as the once dominant force was now an empty corpse. “…you messed everything up…oh, oh”, he gasped for air. “Oh…uh, DAMN! You…..damn you all to HECK!”, he shouted into the blue sky, as he muscular body slumped over the poor beast.

With nothing but pain gripping at his heavy heart, he finally heard the call of assurance. The olive boy masked his tearless weeping, as he slighted turned to see his murdering savior. “No…..I’m SAADDD!!!!!”, he dropped his head back in a childish whine, which could only come from the man-child that was him. Feeling the aching pain of its lasting second, the spiritual fighter felt the beast’s agony within him; and, it fueled his emotional release.

=====================================================================================

Kumi and Lillian

Having made their way to the field, the two ladies found Sheng hunched over a hulking creature. With the smell of flesh filling the air, they approached the crying man. As the blonde agent curiously walked forward, Kumi ran to comfort her mentor. “Haidan, haidan…haidan Sheng, are you alright”, he quickly kneeled to hold the weeping fighter. With nurturing in her hold, she cooed an answer for his painful cry. “…they killed it…”, he took a few seconds to gain control of himself. Sniffling a few times, he eventually did, before placing his hand on the rough skin of the dinosaur. As he did, his fox-masked pupil helped him stand.

“…oh, I was trying to calm the beast. So, like, I connected to their spiritual energy force…”, he began to explain to the Kumi and Lillian. As he stood up straight, he continued, “But, the connection went too deep. It got shot, and I felt it unfortunate death…..”. Taking a deep breath of fresh air, he stared at the harmoniously hot sun. As he recollected himself, the blonde agent spoke. “Well…we have to go…..I think someone intentionally did this…”, Lillian quietly stated, as she looked around. Turning back to Sheng, she heard him ask, “where’s the cowboy?”.

=====================================================================================

Grey

Running through the shadowy forest, the readied cowboy stopped once he heard another scream for help. “She’s close…”, he thought, as his rowdy revolver pointed into darkness that lied behind lines of trees. So, he continued running, until he saw a few tiny bipedal carnivores yapping at a thick tree. A pack of small Coelophysis hopped at the lady who fearfully hid in the greenful branches. With head the size of a dog’s, Grey couldn’t help but laugh at the tiny creature.

“Yeah…okay…”, the outlaw stated, as he gripped his rifle. Aiming at the ground, he fire five shots into the dirt, before firing two more rounds into the tree trunk, causing it to bust with wood; ringing loud through the forest, the miniature critters were flooded with the heart-clinching blasts. Upon seeing him, they disbursed in fright, while Grey stepped up to the tree. “Well, I think you might be safe, babe…no more Chihuahuas of the prehistoric world…”, he jested, as he held his hands out for her to jump down. “…shut up, you didn’t have the pleasure of meeting them, alone in the dark”, she pouted before dropping into his arms. With a laugh, he stood her up, “whatever…let’s go, we have together be to the resort.”.

The Johnsons

Tyrannosaur Paddock

Maurice saw the boy crying over the now dead T-rex. He'd never seen someone so sad over something that seemed so terrifying. He thought about something to say to the boy. About how if he hadn't killed the T-rex, it would've killed his daughter. About how the T-rex was liable to hurt all the other children around. And about how it was just an animal, whose time had passed millions of years ago. But he didn't say any of those things. He simply put his hand on the boy's shoulder and said "I'm sorry." Just then, two ladies, who were with them on their private tour the day before, arrived and met with the boy. The younger one consoled the boy, while the older was more concerned with what was going on with the park, expressing her suspicion that someone had done this on purpose, as well as inquiring what had happened to their southern friend. "He did." Maurice said, confirming her suspicions. "When we were restoring power to the comms system, a man named Carson Delhomme was waiting at the generator bunker, trying to kill us. He said he was trying to show the world the chaos that great power can bring. I don't know if he's alone, or if he brought friends, but he did have control of some of the dino's shock collars. I don't know what happened to your friend. Leon's missing, too. I think it's safer if we all stick together to look for them. Up to you, though."

Leon

The Grasslands

"Happy birthday to me." Leon thought, sarcastically. He didn't have much success fighting the beast, so he'd resorted to flying around it, and distracting it, while dodging the ferocious attacks of the beast. He could tell that the beast was beginning to lose interest, so he pointed at the ground beneath the Indominous, and, finger glowing, lifted a large amount of the dirt surrounding the area, and spun it in a large circle, effectively serving as boundaries for an arena with the flying young man (18 that day) and the Indominous Rex inside. However, he hadn't thought about the fact that he wasn't sure how to do battle with the monster without his weapon, so hew flew around the cyclonic arena, luring the terrible dinosaur into the dust wall. But the Indominous Rex was too smart to run straight into a dust storm. Instead, it stopped, and waited for Leon, who was flying in large circles, and it clawed at Leon when he came back around. Leon tried to stop, but he was flying too fast, and he was hit down to the ground, the dust falling to the ground with him. The sadistic dinosaur then stepped slowly on Leon, intending to crush him as painfully as possible. At that moment, a black cloud of smoke appeared right next to Leon, and said "You're so pitiful. Well, you helped me out, I guess I should return the favor." It flew straight to the heart of the foul creature, who who stepped back, roaring at the sky. The smoke flew back out, and said "Amazing. I was going to destroy its spirit, but if it even has one at all, the monster would still live, and it would still wanna kill you. Sorry kid, it looks like you're on your own." The black smoke then formed into the shape of the white ghost Leon had seen earlier, spun the air in front of it to create a portal leading back to its realm, when Leon said "Wait! Can't you do anything?" The spirit turned back to Leon, and replied "Well, I guess I can give you this." The apparition held out his hand to the air, and a rod of white light appeared. The ghost grabbed it, and tossed it to Leon, "Catch" he said. As the rod of light flew through the air, it took the form of Leon's sword, which he had left home. The white ghost smirked, and turned towards the portal he'd created, which shrunk inwards and disappeared as he walked into it. Leon was bewildered at the ghost. "One moment, he's handling me like a ragdoll, the next he's helping me. Who is he?"

He didn't have time to sit and ponder it, though, because the Indominous was still raging. While the ghost and Leon were conversing, the Indominous had turned its attention once again to the docks. Leon wouldn't have that. He flew straight to the Indominous, pointed at it with his radiant index finger, and flung the beast back into the Grasslands, where a few viewing orbs quickly drove out of the way of the creature as it fell on its back. Leon met the beast as it got back on its feet, and swung his sword at its head, leaving more scars on its horrid face. He flew high up into the air, then, pointing his sword at the Indominous, he flew as fast as he could downwards toward it. The dinosaur waited for Leon to come down, and as Leon neared the beast, it opened its mouth wide to consume him. Leon adjusted just in time to miss the beast's attempt to eat him, and flew a path that hugged the back of the beast, dragging his sword along his scaly back as he flew. The Indominous whipped his tail to hit Leon, who flew straight into the blow, and hit the ground, sliding several yards. He got up in pain, which went away as his finger glowed again. "This is starting to be fun," he thought, as he got back into the air, returning to battle with the beast.

Gale Xanders walked into the clearing where Leon was fighting the I-Rex. "Hey Tyrant!" She shouted. The I-Rex paused, something in its horribly complex genetic code recognized the word. Made from the genetic code of almost a dozen different dinosaurs, part of its code hailed from something different, the other half of The Truth, the ancient enemy of Xae's race, the Tyrants. The I-Rex turned to face her, forgetting for a moment that Leon even existed. It did not understand the drive burning through its nervous system to crush Xae into as small of pieces as possible.

Xae would have smiled, if she weren't too busy being angry. Stupid humans! You did it, you actually did it. Hey, let's take this DNA we know nothing about and stick it into our biggest Dinosaur, because, you know, it might be fun. I need to smack the hell out of Dr. Wu when this is over.I knew I'd seen that stare before. Xae clutched the sickle knives between her fingers and dropped into a readied stance. Two ancient enemies stared each other down for a moment, the one a full member of her species, the other just a fragment of a much grater race watered down with the genetic code of half a dozen dinosaurs. Gale Xanders showed no fear what so ever, her reptilian eyes, no longer covered by their human contact lenses, locked on the I-Rex's.

"Leon, I'll distract it, you kill it." She said. The I-Rex roared and charged. She charged towards it as well and leaped up at the last moment to avoid it's massive jaws as they tried to clamp down where she should have been. She drove one of her knives into the side of its head and used it as a hook to pull herself up on-top of its head. Gale Xanders wasted no time and jumped off of the furious creature. She dug both of her sickle knives into its neck on the way down, leaving a bloody pair of long slash marks all the way down its neck. She landed in a perfect crouch, unaffected by the long fall.

Grey

Marching through thick tree lines, the cowboy held his machete. Chopping through bushes and plants, which stood as strong as brick, Grey marked a way for the lady that followed him. Holding his revolver in the free hand, which hovered readied and cautious, the southern man stepped with swampy water soaked his ripped clothing. Hearing the shivering of the frail Brit, the cowboy continued walking through the hefty jungle of moisture and water. Stepping through puddles of moss, and over logs of greenery and ivy, the two struggled through the foggy side of the park.

Grey smirked when he saw the sunlight, beaming in from the swamp’s edge. Feeling the rushing overdue warmth of the grassy main lands, the two soaked figures saw the open field. Immediately, the brunette woman ran for the warmth of presumable safety, before the outlaw darted after her, in a hurry. Knowing something wasn’t right, he caught her, “Wait…”. Pulling her back to the side of a huge tree, he held her as a humongous beast pounced out of nowhere. Roaring at an assuming attacker, the cold-blooded creature quickly struck the same cord of Grey’s memory.

“…sh!t, I was hoping they’d had a plan for that thing.”, he muttered to himself, immediately covering the panicked lady, who frantically paced in arisen fear. Turning to her, he whispered, “Okay, ma’am…forgive me for this…”, before holding her by her hips. With a cautious toss, he sent her into the tall tree, to keep her out of danger. “Stay up there, ma’am…I wouldn’t want anything to happen to ya. I’ll be back, to get ya, soon…”, he gave a assuring smile, before turning around. Putting his previous weapons away, he pulled out his rifle. Tracking it at the bushy line that marked the jungle’s entrance, the cowboy watched it ram after a figure of zest. “Well…here we go again”, he thought about the pain of having this beast on his neck, before he shook the nervous idea out of his head. Quickly, he aimed his powerful long-distance gun fired at the monster, which was halted at the sight of the redhead. Firing a few shots of flaming fury, he stepped forward for better aim, as he helped distract the creature.

=====================================================================================

Lillian

Listening to the figure, the agent smirked with a chuckle, as she relished in her hunch being true. “So, someone was plotting some wicked with this park…”, she muttered with a nonchalant sense of gloat. The blonde turned to gloat at the two people who brought her here. However, they were too busy meditating over the corpse of a fallen dinosaur. Staring in doubt, she slowly turned back to the man.

“So…what now?”, she asked, plainly, she stared through her sunshades, which searched the name thy gave her. She faintly listened for an answer, as she prepared her suit.

(Sorry for the small bit of a post...I didn't have much to say, yet...)

Copy/paste ftw! It ate my post, but basic compy functions saved the day!

@superstay: @gale_xanders:

Leon

The Grasslands

Leon saw his opening. Gale had left a large gap in the scales on the beast's neck, and Leon knew that was where to strike. He flew towards the ancient creature's neck, but it snapped its jaws at him. Narrowly escaping its deadly bite, he quickly flew backwards, and slowed to a stop. He tried again, but had no luck when he was met with a large claw which would've taken his head off if he hadn't blocked it with his sword just in time. Struggling, he spun to the side and cut off the dinosaur's hand. He flew away from the beast as it roared in pain to catch a breath and think of what to do. He had to get to its neck, but it wasn't about to let Leon kill it. Once again, he flew at it, but at the last moment, he flew to the right, and dragged his sword along the ground, leaving a dust cloud in his wake. The Indominous still facing the other way, Leon held his hand out at the dust cloud, and it gathered to the exact shape of himself, sword and all. The I-Rex turned and saw the dust Leon, and, thinking it was the real Leon, it opened its mouth and forcefully bit the dust Leon as it charged the dinosaur, which appeared to be attacking the dinosaur. Its teeth cleaved through the dust cloud Leon, making it disperse in its mouth. Quickly turning to the left, to the right, then all the way around to find the real Leon, it roared as Leon was nowhere to be found. On the back of the dinosaur, Leon was sitting and trying not to laugh at it. "Looks like I got to ride you after all," Leon thought. The dinosaur gave up on finding Leon, and made one final charge for Gale. "Alright, I've had my fun,' Leon said. With his left hand, Leon held onto the I-Rex, as he drove his sapphire blade into the Indominous' neck with his right, exactly where Gale had given him a weak point. It roared one last time, and fell on the ground, almost sliding into Gale before it stopped just short.

Leon thought he'd try to show off, and he used his finger to help him jump unto the Indominous Rex's head, where he would slide down, but as soon as he landed on its head, he fell headfirst, and began rolling down instead. He landed on the ground on his face, saying "That worked out a lot better in my head!" He got up, and looked around, seeing more crowds trying to leave via the docks, he looked back at the vile creature, and saw that it was truly dead. Just then, boat horns sounded, as more boats were arriving. Could the timing be any better? Leon took a large breath of relief, and fell on his back, breathing heavily. "Ah, did you see that?" He said, turning his head to Gale and Grey "Another one bites the dust!" Leon jested. He stood up, and said to Gale. "Sorry to probably be the eighth person to ask, but, what's going on? I was.. well, I don't know where I was."

The Johnsons

Tyrannosaur Paddock

"Now we go find our friends," Maurice answered.

The makeshift squad traversed the park, searching for their missing friends. Before long, they found Leon, Grey, and Gale standing by the corpse of the Indominous Rex.

Everyone

The Grasslands

"I can answer that one," Stella told him "Carson Delhomme shut the park down. He tried to shoot us, so we shot his ear off." She walked over to Leon and put her arms around his neck. "Hi," She said, smiling at him. Smiling back, Leon said "Well, hey there!" They kissed, then stood by each other, Stella's arm over Leon's shoulder, and Leon's arm just above Stella's waist. "You know a Carson Delhomme?" Leon asked Gale. Maurice spoke up at that point, and said "Wait, before we get into any of that, what happened to you, Leon?"

Leon thought about telling them what had happened, but he said "I don't know. I just ended up here somehow." Stella and Maurice both knew he was lying, but they decided to leave it alone for the time being. Maurice turned his attention to Gale and said "Back on topic, Carson Delhomme; you know him?"

@apex_: @gale_xanders

Beneath Nemaz's mask, a grin creeps onto his face as she does ask him that question. His response to her question, is simply another question.

"Have you no faith?"

He asks her in a somewhat humorous tone, as he simply jumps out of the window, falling into a rapid descent as he gets nearer and nearer to the ground, descending from roughly 20 stories up. Nemaz then rather calmly opens his wingsuit as he descent slows and then, he sticks a 3 point landing straight towards the ground, uninjured by the mitigated but still rough impact. His possession of a rifle that could down a T-Rex in a single shot, seemingly not hindering his movement a great deal.

Even if she was new, he didn't expect her to simply trust everything he said. Indeed, he was not the type to object to her asking questions. He rather preferred that she would think. He'd assume that she would follow him as he takes out an MP7 and his Maverick "Shrew" assault rifle and begins to spray down the oppositing dinosaurs, him having more than enough than enough firepower and accuracy to take on the threat.

"Civillians are of course important, we are saving as many as we can."

No Caption Provided

Soon behind the white armor clad soldier, 2 more soldiers appeared right behind him in similar armor. Who'd had only arrived in 15 short minutes. Nemaz walked by as they sprinted off at give or take 35 miles per hours and strafed quickly about as they took out dinosaurs with deadly efficiency. To the human eye, it seemed as if ten or so of these men had appeared, and yet, it seemed like either one was an army all on their own. Agile, quick, pragmatic and brutally efficient, these were the shadow company, and they along with the coming forces would help to simply subside the wild creatures who roamed the island.

"Now, Apex. If you could be a dear, we do have a lead for you to teleport us to. Here."

Nemaz pointed to the area on the map and pointed to it in the physical world, giving the location, longitude, latitude to allow her to reach the area through either one port or a series of them.

It was rather soon that they appeared at the lab, where a few men were stationed. "Area is clear sir." "Excellent..." Is Nemaz's simple reply, as he walks over to the scene, the broken glass and takes off his hood and helmet. His eyes look sharply about, as he crouches down on all fours, and begins to smell around the area....seeking a scent, like an animal. Quickly identifying multiple individuals present at the scene. Continuously scanning the area for the target.

"It may be a mutant, or a well trained human responsible. Or perhaps given their apparent dabbling in the data of life, it could be a creation of theirs. Something intelligent. Let us find out."

He stands up right, inhaling the air, seeking a trail of an assailant who does not match the descriptions he acquired of the staff. Though, the culprit could easily be one of the staff, or have achieved this from a distance. All the while footage around the island was reviewed by others who had arrived on the island. If the culprit was still on the island, he'd be found, and likely soon.

"Interesing Research they have here."Nemaz comments on their genetic engineering as walks about, picking up various trails, led by his nose. "Perhaps after we can our science divisions get in bed with one another."

Gale took a breath as everyone rushed her with questions at once. She turned from them quickly and slipped on her emergency sunglasses, she didn't have time to put the contact lenses in and it would be pretty obvious. She looked at the dead I-Rex for a minute, collecting her breath as well. Eventually, once she felt more collected, she turned back to face everyone. "I do not, but I know who he is." Gale said in answer to their question. "The World Organization for the Betterment of Nature has been trying to get inspectors into this place from day one. They were turned down until they opened and sent Carson Delhomme as their investigator."

She walked over to the dead I-Rex and crouched down, running her finger tips over the dead beast's muzzle. "Obviously he had additional plans." Look at what they've done to you. Even a Tyrant deserves better than to be a half-remembered genetic fragment in some monster's DNA.

"We're going to kill him and everyone that works with him." She said after a moment of silence. "Get this park back under control. I will not abide the existence of a man or organization willing to kill hatchlings." She was too upset to notice the slip of the tongue and correct it like she usually did. "From now on, no one kills dinosaurs unless they have to, there a tranq guns available in the armory bunker. The dinosaurs are just animals, many of them frightened as well." With park communications restored she activated the communication device hanging from her shoulder and spoke into it. "All Security forces and would be heroes, this is Gale Xanders. The park has come under a direct terrorist attack. Neutralize but do not destroy the animals unless your hand is forced. You are looking for a man named Carson Delhomme, reportedly with controlled Dinosaurs at his side. Kill him." The message was broadcast loud and clear all over the park. The park generators were online now and security systems began to kick back in. Some of the containment teams were able to place animals back in their paddocks and keep an eye on them.

Gale stood slowly from the dead I-Rex and turned to face everyone again. She put her wicked looking sickle knives, now dripping with I-Rex blood, back on their belt loops. "Thank all of you for helping as much as you have. When the system gets back up and running and this is over, we will rebuild the park with far better anti-terror security. Your help so far has been invaluable, will you help me track down and kill Delhomme?"

Sheng and Kumi

Meditating over the dead T-Rex, the two spiritual figures soon disappeared. They had discovered the whereabouts of Grey and the mysterious dinosaur. The felt the aggressive energy, as they warped into the grassy field of battle, the two brunette fighters witness the falling predator. Finally able to see the beast up-close and personal, Sheng could feel it in the flesh. Feeling the same energy of any other creature, he flinched in disturbance, as the animal fell to the floor in death.

The two fighters, only thinking of the now-dead beast, walked up to it, to feel its fading presence. Kumi took her mentor’s lead, as he kneeled into the windy grass. Heavy with grimness, the olive bro closed his eyes to spiritually comfort the soul’s passing. He scented the unnatural origins of the beast, and an unknown presence. This wasn’t normal to average animals…or at least to Sheng. It felt so alien, and tortured, the two fighters placed their hands on the cold-growing skin of the creature, as it lied empty of life.

=====================================================================================

Grey and Lillian

After recollecting it lady, the cowboy made his way to the lying beast. With his guns still drawn, he saw the two childish fighters presumably praying. Seeing the tension in their face, he slowed into a creeping stalk. “Is it dead?”, he muttered to the lament bro. With a face of relaxing appearance, and eyes set on the once-grand creature, Grey looked at the now standing Sheng. Turning to face him, the fighter spoke, “…unfortunately so”. With an expression of grief, the southern one gave the pale corpse the same prayer of peaceful rest that he gave the dead Deinosuchus, a while back.

As he did, the blonde agent stepped close to the group. “I guess it’s good to see you all”, she nonchalantly stated in relief, as her icy blue eyes lowered to the deceased beast. “…so, we have to find this Delhomme, guy?”, the cowboy muttered, having read the min of Lillian, who was still thinking about the business that needed to be handled. However, his eyes quickly pooped into the realization of him having never told the group of his telepathic abilities. “Sh!t…they don’t know I can read minds…”, he thought as he turned to see the blonder staring back at him in suspecting thought.

“How did you know of Delhomme?”, he questioned, seeing the odd face of Grey’s. As he stood still, he quickly gestured to Gale, “uh…she just said it”. He pointed noticed to the redhead, who just brought him up the target, merely after Grey had mentioned him. The nervous brown haired man shook off the nerves, as he replaced his cowboy hat back on his head. Paying no attention to the fact that his excuse didn’t match up, he saw that the blonde was the only one who cared. “Hey…what’s her name?”, he confidently asked Sheng about his partner. Seeing Sheng look over at brunette, he spoke, “that Kumi…”.

No Caption Provided

“Hey, Kumi…would you mind taking my girl back to my hotel room, please?...she doesn’t need to be in the middle of this.”, he charmingly asked. With a glance at her mentor, she agreed. Stepping up to the British lady, the female fighter held the woman’s frail palm. With a assuring smile to the worried lady, they vanished in a instance. And, in that silence, Grey turned to the two remaining two. "Well, lets get to the hunt...", he smiled, before whistling into the open field. Getting odd stares from Lillian, and a childish smiles from Sheng, Grey stepped into the grassy plain. And, as he did, a majestic stallion of black beauty appeared out of nowhere. Sprinting with stride, it halted before the outlaw, who bared a huge grin, "There you are, brother...we might have some work to do...". Waiting for him to mount him, the wild creature started swaying his way to the group.

Retracting the Vibranium arrow Alex was swiftly able to zipline to where her commanding officer landed. The cord swiftly retracting and making her method of transport almost as effective and only a second behind him. And she took the daring act in perfect stride. "Nope I don't have faith. What I've got is trust." She remarked with a wink and knocking another arrow to provide one of the other Maverick members with cover. Even though it was rarely if ever needed as apart of a team she did her part. That and her unique vision made her ideal for the part.

Her action was less not racking up quite the body count. She'd zeroed in on efficiency and ammo conservation. The fact she used a bow was fine but one could back more assault rifle magazines then arrows. And Alex wasn't going to pretend otherwise she was a leading survivalist and as such a realist. With one rift the pair arrived besides the building. "Blueprints?" She asked with a light tap to the more tech equipped Maverick member. Sure enough he provided and in another flash the team was inside the laboratory. "Thanks."

Dropping to a knee Alex began to look for a clue much akin to her partners use of smell. Impressive vision served her better though. "Labs open a bit later nobodies been in here really in a few hours given that power went down right as the park opened. Making it that of these few foot prints only a few are possible to blame." Her eye sight had a hard time missing anything what was minute imprints most would hardly see let alone distinguish she saw clearly. "Now for labs like this everyone has to wear a more specific design." She gestured to one print and stroke the mark "smooth. No tracking dirt. Then there's this one, groves a good grip. More like what we are wearing. This guy is who we want to follow."

A voice came over the comms Alex handed it over to Nam "sounds like they could use the help of you and the boys. I've no right to call out a game plan but if I may?" She snapped her finger and Aria stepped from a rift playfully snapping her powerful jaw at Nam. "The boys go in lending classic Maverick aid and superior fire power. While the girls track this bitch down and flank him." The raptor sniffing the shoe print and eager to begin chasing the scent.

The Grasslands

"Absolutely." Maurice answered. Turning to Stella and Leon, he said, "You two need to head home. Leon, take Stella and go to the boats." "Wait, no. No sir, I'm staying right here." Stella objected. She wasn't about to let her father march straight towards the deadly terrorists all by himself. Maurice let out a frustrated sigh, and replied, "Stella, you've done good, but you two need to stay safe now." "All due respect, sir, I think I'd be much better equipped to deal with this," Leon said, holding up his hand, and wiggling his ruby digit. "You should take her home," Leon told him. Maurice refused, saying, "But what would happen if they do take you down? I couldn't live with myself. You go, I'll be alright. This ain't my first rodeo."

Leon nodded, and said to Stella "Let's get going. He'll be alright." "You know I'm not going anywhere, right?" Stella replied. Frustrated, Leon said "Stella!", drawing out the end of her name. Stella stared at Leon with raised eyebrows, and he knew she wasn't budging. Leon gave in, saying, "Alright, if you're not going, then I'm not going." Stella smiled as wide as she could, and said probably more loudly than she thought, "Yay!", and briefly kissed him. She turned to her dad, and said, "We're staying, dad." Maurice turned to Leon, who shrugged, raising his hands to about shoulder level. Maurice put his hand on his face, which traveled from the bridge of his nose down to just above his upper lip. "Fine," he conceded, "We're all joining up. What's the plan, Gale?"

Gale cocked her head slightly as she considered what path to take next and everyone else argued around her. "Oh hell, I need a vacation." She said, mostly to herself. "One war is enough for a life time." She added. "Alright, fine." She turned and faced everyone, having apparently decided on a course of action. "Carson Delhomme is human and probably alone. He's trying to turn some of the Dinosaurs against us while using nature to his advantage for the rest. He is relying on chaos to cover his foot steps and he needs the park to completely collapse to get his point across. The containment teams will take care of most of the animals and put them to sleep and in temporary cages. He'll go to the genetics lab and seize as much genetic material as he can, then he'll make his way to the control center and break as many systems as he can and probably kill everyone working there."

Gale ran a finger along one of her sickle blades while she spoke, an old nervous habit. "We need to cut him off near the genetics lab and protect the genetic material at the same time. There are two members of Maverick staying at the park...if I know paramilitary organizations like I do, they will be one step ahead of us and trying to cut him off or find him as well. If we can link up with them that will go a long way. To get there faster we'll cut through the Raptor territories, it's unlikely he collared all of them, if they don't have a collar ignore them, if they do, tranq them but do not kill. Ready?"

@gale_xanders:

Mounted on his black horse, the outlaw stared into the hovering sun. With squinted eyes of wonder, he thought about his home, for a quick second. “I wonder what they’re doing at this moment…”, the southerner thought about his real homeland. Before shaking the thought away, he pulled his 73 Winchester rifle off of his horse’s side holster. With a chuckling smirk, he looked back into the air, while loading the classic gun with tranquilizer darts.

Hearing another gun being loaded, Grey looked over at the blonde lady. Replacing tranquilizer darts and rubber bullets into her guns, she prepared herself. As she did, the Texan turned to see his olive toned companion staring at the corpse of terror. With passion in his pupils, Sheng calmly smiled, feeling a peaceful breeze consume him. “Hey…need a gun”, the fighter turned to see his horse mounted friend generously holding out a gunslinging Peacemaker for him. With a polite smile, Sheng spoke, “Oh no, sorry…guns really aren’t my thing”. As he saw the gapped smile of Grey’s, the outlaw spoke. “…bad shot?”, the rowdy gunman question, getting a signature grin in reply… “Eh, never used one…too erupt for my taste. ”, Sheng looked at the brown haired gunman.

“Okay, uh…I haven’t caught your name?”, he asked. Stepping forward, the shaggy haired bro informed. “Sheng…”, he smiled, as the cowboy stared. Noticing the odd sound of his name, Grey immediately figured it wasn’t of the western world. So, he made an innocent but ignorant guest, “Chinaman?”. Glimpsing at the straight faced Lillian, as if to get confirmation from her. “Yeah…well, part”, Sheng replied before a thought popped into his head. “You speak Chinese?”, he optimistically asked, like a hopeful child. Getting chuckle in response, Grey answered with a question. “I’m a Spanish Scot, with a bit of Apache blood, from Texas…what’d you think? ”, he stared at the two. “…so, is that a yes?”, Sheng asked.

With a laugh, Grey looked ahead, “hehe, sorry…that’d be a no…”. As he gazed ahead, he thought of what they had to do. “So…where to, now?”, he look between the two figured. Lillian stepped between the two men, as she assessed the plan. “I believe we should head to the science lad to protect the genetic material”, she self-elected herself as the decider. However, the heroic fighter had other plans, “I think we should go to the control center, to protect the poor people working there”. As they bickered over their polarizing choices, as Grey looked over one of the park’s maps. “…well, since I can’t find the science lab, on this map. We’re going to the control center…”, he decided, on the whim of him not being able to properly read the map.

Finalizing the decision, the cowboy grabbed the back of Lillian’s suit, using his strength to lift the lady to the level of his saddle. Planting her on the back of his horse, without of consent, he smiled as Sheng before galloping off. As he did, the olive artist sped behind them, utilizing his ability to easily keep up with the running horse. With the pouty face of the irritated blonde, the three made their way to the control center.

(To anyone who finds the use of 'Chinaman' offensive, I'd happily delete it, if you'd wish...)

Armory

Leon, Stella and Maurice headed to the armory to get the tranquilizers and darts. Leon didn't pick up a gun, only several darts, which he placed in a satchel he found laying on the ground. Maurice scanned the room, and found a sleek tranq dart rifle, which he picked up, saying "Hello, sweetie. You ready to hit the town?" Stella, on the other side of the room, found a wall with several tranquilizer pistols on it, and she chose two, sticking several handfuls of darts in her purse, which she still somehow had with her. Stella overheard the others' conversation, and noticed they were headed to the control center, rather than the science lab, where Gale had hoped to cut the terrorist off. She was going to say something to them, but they had already left. She met back up with her father and Leon, and said "Those other people just ran off to the control center, do we need to do something about that?" "No, let's just head over the lab, and try to cut Delhomme off there," Maurice answered.

En Route to Genetics Lab

Leon took to the skies to locate the Genetics lab, and when he did, they headed towards them, unsure of what they'd encounter on the way.

@superstay@apex_@maverick_6@neon_leon

Apex's beautiful little animals tracked Carson Delhomme to where he was standing in the middle of the DNA storage vault. The vault itself was kept at nearly intolerably cold levels because aside from the dozens of storage cylinders containing thousands of strands of recovered DNA, it was also home to some of the world's most advanced super computers that needed to be kept at such cold temperatures simply to stay functional. Delhomme stood with his hands clasped behind his back and a smile on his face. He looked defenseless, but looks were deceiving. The man ignored the wound to his missing ear and the blood that still ran down the side of his head. When Apex and her Maverick ally arrived on scene he removed one hand from behind his back to reveal a small remote control. "Let's not do anything rash just yet." He cautioned them.

---------------------------

The cowboy arrived at a control center under massive assault by half the Raptors on the island. Someone in the center had activated the building's defense systems which had closed thick blast doors and sealed the control room off, but it was only a matter of time before the highly intelligent dinosaurs figured out a way in. Inside were trapped a dozen control experts, the people that kept the island running. One of them was covered in blood that was not his own, the owner of the island lay in a pool of his own blood on the floor, quite clearly dead, gutted by one of the animals his labs had created. The animal lay dead not far away from him, shot in the face by someone with the presence of mind to carry a pistol even though the park was covered in anti conceal-carry signs.

They would need the cowboy's help to survive the rest of the day.

-----------------------------------------

(Meanwhile, back at the gentics lab, our heroes are just arriving!)

Gale Xanders and her team of allies arrived behind Apex and Nemaz. "Ah ha!" Delhomme proclaimed. "I am honored, ladies and gentleman, allow me to introduce to you...The Truth!" He said and pointed at Gale. The terrorist grinned. "It's ok, I felt like a fool at first too. We Humans think we have all the answers. Fifty years ago we thought dinosaurs were stupid, cold blooded animals incapable of fast movement. Then we slowly figured out how wrong we were. Then we said the Tyrannosaur couldn't see anything that didn't move...again we were wrong. Now we think dinosaurs had feathers...Humans, we change our minds all the time, scientific fact is dis-proven all the time. We're stupid really, quite so I'm afraid compared to the beautiful truth that stands among you. This park is a beautiful example of the pathetic attempt by humanity to control nature, we've never controlled nature, it's merely accepted our presence and from time to time reminded us of its power. Of course, it was hiding The Truth from us the entire time, this world doesn't belong to us, it belongs to her people!" He said, placing a finger on the bed red button of his control box. "She's just not certain yet if she should take it back from us."

He reached over to a computer with his free hand and activated a holographic display. The display showed what appeared to be one of the park's raptors but it sported a pair of large leathery wings. "Allow me to introduce to you to reality. The people behind this park had no idea what they found but they did their research after she escaped their silly little raptor pen. From what they were able to piece together they learned Earth was once host to a sentient species that lived during the age of the dinosaurs, a race much older than our own. She's faster than, you, smarter than you and stronger than you. Not only that, but she's a natural predator born with millions of years of killing instinct and combat ability. Think about it, do you remember that little box she gave you that restored power to the park? She gave it out like it was a trinket." He brought up another image, this one an image of the inside of the box. "She invented it in her spare time." The image revealed the box to be an anti-matter reactor. "Gale Xanders was a beautiful disguise, but it's time to take the mask off Gale." He pushed the button. Nothing appeared to happen, but his smile didn't fade. A wave of nano-machines scattered from hidden locations all across the island and manipulated the genetic code of every dinosaur it came across in seconds. Their code was restructured until their base drives to kill and eat or defend territory was multiplied a thousand times, awakening an island of lethal killing machines now intent on destruction and chaos. To Carson Delhomme's twisted mind it was the true nature he was revealing, he was removing the chains.

Gale snarled, grabbing her head as pain arched through her body, it was the first sign of a weakness in Delhomme's plan, if anyone was perceptive enough to pick it up. While everything around them changed without a fight, the nanites struggled with Gale, who's inhuman snarl had been a revelation that everything Delhomme had said was at least partially true. He had assumed Gale had dinosaur DNA and he was partially right...but not entirely. Her complex triple helix genetic code was unlike anything the nano machines had ever seen, they simply had no idea what to do to restructure her code and remove her inhibitions. Eventually they figured out a small means of doing it, but it would be temporary rather than permanent. They stripped away from her any thoughts of Humanity deserving its place on Terra and replaced it with her natural born instinct to kill anything that threatened her world.

Gale turned to the group and removed her glasses, revealing the reptilian eyes she had been concealing the entire time. With a snap of her fingers she activated armor she had also kept concealed from them, which locked into place over her frame.

"BEHOLD!" Delhome proclaimed. "The TRUTH!"

As he finished speaking the last bit of his plan to rid the island of its defenders fell into place as more than two dozen Raptors entered the area, intent on murdering everything in their path.

@gale_xanders:

Making it to the area of the computer center, the three figures made it to the hall that contained the sealed door. Having hitched his horse, the cowboy walked with his gun readied “I just down understand the reason you have, for hitting me, ma’am…”, Grey shrugged off a reply to the conversation he was having with the blonde agent. Baring a thick purple eye, he looked over at her. “I’ll tell you again, don’t attempt to manhandle me or dictate my decision…you’re lucky I just punched you”, she insisted, as he gun was held cocked. As they turned the corner, still lowly discussing the incident, Sheng stopped them.

“Whow, Raptors…awesome”, the olive fighter smirked. Hearing a ‘Shhh’ from Lillian, the group halted in the sight of the terrorizing team. As Sheng crept an inch closer, the lady’s glasses scanned the creatures. ===============================================================================

“How fast are Raptors?”, the fighter asked before hearing the lady’s nonchalant voice immediately say, “…about a bit over 40 MPH...or faster...”. With a gulp of hesitating fright, upon staring into the shape eyes of the Raptor who just noticed him, he continued creeping. Ignoring his companions questioning of his action, he directed himself at the pack. “Whoa, bros…you dudes look…..hungry…”, he glanced at the razors that they had for teeth. With his firmly soft hands rose in calm surrender, Sheng continued making himself known. Talking and moving, he tried to catch the entire pack’s attention with his appearance of being a venerable prey.

“Sheng, there’s 12 raptors here...they could ri-”, Lillian begin to try to talk him down. “Lils, stop…”, he quickly halted her from reading off more stats of intimidatingly frightful facts, “I’ll handle this, you two get the center under control”. Keeping eye contact, he couldn't turn his focus away without haunting hisses bringing them back. “Could you give me a map?”, ha politely asked, as Lillian rushed the pamphlet into his hand. They all eventually turned towards him, as his gaped eyes stared into the face of a dozen vicious dinosaurs. Shaking of the tense fear, Sheng rushed forward, beginning to sprint down the hallway.

Running for the wall of hungry Raptors, he focused on the predators, as they yapped like a school of bloodthirsty Piranhas. Gaining speed, he hopped onto the cold concrete wall, before the snarling beast could start to run. Dashing across the concrete surface, he catapulted himself clear over most of the hefty-sized group, who kept their eyes on him; Light as a feather, he landing on them, using his quick feet to hop across their head, until he reached the other side. “I’ll, like, run them back to their exhibits!!!”, he fled down the hall and around the corner, as a storm of Raptor instinctually chased down the presumably easy prey.

===============================================================================

Grey and Lillian

Watching the creatures speed after the fleeing prey, the cowboy stared in blankness. It seemed Sheng had ridded them of the mass threat. However, in the two’s sign of odd relief, they were reunited with worry. A few of the Raptors remembered the two figures still standing still. As the circled back, they slowed started stalking the two. “…What now?”, the cowboy turned to get assistance. But, as he did, he noticed the blonde was gone. Filled with nervous confusion, he questioned, “Lillian?”.

“You might want to run…”, he heard the cloaked agent, who stood beside him in full invisibility. “Oh…”, he exclaimed, seeing the four beast return. They hissed and yapped, measuring the southerner, moving in unison. In a instance, as his hands jittered in anxiousness, they pounced at him. “…SH!T!!!”, he yelled, as he nearly stumbled in retreat.

As they sped pass, in a blur of heated movement, the hidden woman soon reappeared. Staring down the hall, she pulled out of multi-used assault rifle. Aiming at the hall ends, she shot wall-planted cameras at the corners of both sides. Keeping a watch her surroundings, she approached the door, to examine it.

===============================================================================

Outside

Blasting out of the compound’s doors, the cowboy hustled into the open field. Empty of people, he whistled for his horse. With his goosebumps hogging the spots of his neck that the honing predators breathed on, Grey called felt them getting closer. Unlike Sheng, the outlaw wasn’t superhumanly fast. And, peak human speed wasn’t going to outrun these things. With sweating speed hitting the sun-covered park, he finally noticed his horse ripping towards him. And, with a leap of faith, the ducked, allowing him to catch it’s neck.

As one of the raptors leaped behind him, it hurled straight over the stallion. As hit the dirt with a thud, the black mustang turn and darted for the opposite direction. With the cowboy grip on by it’s neck, Apache Claw sprinted away from danger. Run into the open field, Grey lead the horse towards Sheng, who was now high-tailing his way towards the Velociraptor cells. “Okay, Pache…on my mark…”, Grey prepared his galloping steed. Leading the four storming creatures for their group, he kept a steady distance, as he eventually drew near the olive bro.

Finally gaining his positioning, he gripped the horse’s command, as it leaped into a graceful jump. Hurling towards Sheng, who was reading his map, the wild stallion flew over the pack. Flying into the thick treesline, Grey disappeared from the sight and consciousness of the Raptors, and the met the rest of their pack, on the pursuit of their shaggy-haired prey. As he read a map, he followed its direction to the creatures’ home. “Okay, okay”, he yelped as he hopped over one’s attempted at snapping at his feet, “…we’ll get there, soon. Thaan, I could get you some milk and cookies…”. Turning to face them, as he began to run backwards, “Wouldn’t you dudes want that over icky flesh?”, he shrug his shouldered in attempt to convince them. But, as one snapped dangerously close to his face, he knew they still wanted flesh…and direly wanted his. Blinded by a lust for blood, the snarling creatures nearly climbed over each other for Sheng’s frame.

@apex_: @superstay: @gale_xanders:

His reply to Apex's comment of faith is a subtle smile as he agrees with her plan, deciding to follow the raptors on foot, as Apex was likely more than able to keep up by teleporting.

Nemaz stared at the man, as he gave a long, villainous monologue. Nemaz's look was that of indifference towards the man, his words and the reveal towards Gale being not human. Her scent was what gave her away towards him, however, this only warranted vigilance as opposed to immediate action.

"Nature, does not care what we do. It does not conceal, nor hide. Nature simply is, and we reside within it to interpret it as we so choose. We could wipe the earth of all life, and "nature" would not care. The only ones we would be harming is ourselves. Matter simply changes form, and even if the earth stops spinning, existence will continue."

He pressed the button and immediately the pair received word of the devices being released into the ambient air of the island, nanomachines. something that he hadn't really encountered since the AI incident. He was almost certain that it would attempt to infect them, but it seemed to be geared to only effect the dinosaurs, otherwise he'd have had Apex teleport away and then purged the area as per protocol.

But indeed, this is salvageable, hope was hardly lost, even if Gale seemed to succumbed to the infection, others throughout the island would fight. Maverick was not a company of any "one" hero.

He watched as the raptors appeared, thinking of not of ways to survive, but of ways to most efficiently kill the beasts. "This reminds me much of the war in Henosha..." He wasn't intimidated it seemed, most likely because during that war, he had killed a Tyrannosaurus in a few moments. However, to make things easier, one of them volunteered to steer away a good amount of the beasts, a majority of them opting to chase after their easy prey and simply leaving the rest of the group behind to deal with the mind controlled Gale and Delhomme.

"Enjoy your revelation while you can, Mr. Delhomme, because we won't be allowing your madness to leave the island." Nemaz put on his helmet took a stance in front of Apex and her own raptors. His feet slid apart, his hands raised extended next to his head. It was the stance of a Muay Thai practitioner as he spoke to . "I'll help keep them off you and engage. Ms. Xanders is the Alpha target. I'll move in to engage in hand to hand. Look for an opportunity to strike. Preferably non-lethal, but if she is too powerful, it may come down to that. The decision is ultimately yours."

With that, a raptor lunged Nemaz, first, jumping through the air in an attempt to tackle him, and Nemaz grabs by it's clawed feet, spins to deflect it's momentum and throws it away back into members of it's own pack. Another comes in it's wake, the African Super Soldier moves swiftly in movement difficult to perceive, driving his fingers through the raptor's chest cavity, puncturing and rupturing the creature's heart as he tosses it aside.

Two more lunge him at once, seeking to pit their ferocity against his, he jumps overhead, flipping rather elegantly and giving Apex a clear shot of one raptor while the other one tackles Nemaz out of the air. The man and beast struggle, as Nemaz hold's the creatures arms as it is on top him, Saliva flying from the creature's maws with every snap towards him. He pushes against the creatures chest with his feet while holding it's arms, lifting it off the ground as he lays down. With great effort, he rips the creature's small arms completely off it's body.

Taking advantage of it's pain, he flexibly shinkicks it, to knock it into the floor, wrestling it to the ground as he simply shoots it once with a shot to the head, as he puts his pistol away and now turns his attention to Gale.

"What lovely eyes you have, Ms. Xanders." He commented, gazing into his opponent's reptilian eyes as from one eye of the helmet, a red glow appears. With that, he simply disappears, leaving the electromagnetic spectrum all together as photons of no spectrum were allowed to penetrate reflect form the matter of his exterior. Sound had briefly left the area, and indeed, one can tell when he was close by the silence that accompanied his approach, the lack of background noise. It was then that he struck.

Nemaz appeared next to Gale, seeking to throw a side kick to her rib cage If the kick actually landed, the strike would feel akin to being hit by a car and intent on sending her flying away 20 feet to bounce off the opposing wall.

"Sir the creatures are more aggressive, are we authorized to use lethal force."

"Disregard her comments. This is a war now, we cannot rely on tranquilizers to take on adrenaline fueled, nanomachine afflicted beasts. Do as you must. End any creature who threatens lives."Was Nemaz's order.

"Roger that." Was the simple reply.

They had before been able to get the animals to retreat, and indeed, most of them were harmless, but the nanomachines had changed everything. It was a war now, eat or be eaten. Man vs Beast. And man was going to have to fight to simply survive. It was was ultimately all about defending themselves.

The casualties were however envitable, but controlled. In concerns to Maverick's own, as most of the deathes were M.O.R.S scouting and overwhelmed by mobs of the creatures. They couldn't stop all the animals from mauling people too far away, but they saved as many as they could on the outskirts, shadow company working like how they did in Hawaii, working to locate and rescue people who were abandoned or strays among the island.

As far as defend went, Maverick was unyielding and would not allow those well into urban, fortified areas to be picked off under their protection. Jets sooned ruled the skies, gunning down Dimorphodons and Pteradons. Ironically, the well trained humans were the most difficult to kill, able to take down T-Rexes in groups or even one on one if they were lucky and working in conjunction with the established security to help contain the situation.

Admittedly, Maverick was much more well equipped, having weapons and training designed to deal with monsters, gods and superhumans alike. And those men who remained to not be replaced by a M.O.R.S were some of the best, their focus was primarily to hold the line and help people safely escape as well as provide medical attention to those forced to wait on the island, to provide safety, hope.

@gale_xanders: @maverick_6:

Sure enough her tracking skill and the raptors had led her and Nemaz to the location of the culprit of the ruining of a good vacation. The room was cold it's smell a bombardment of cleaning products and sterilization. The lighting held an azure and gold tone from liquid filled vats and bright lights over various specimens in various states of progress. Wasn't long before more people showed up to the room, personally Alex would have preffered fewer. More people meant less opening of a clean shot.

Then came the monologue. He talked and talked and then talked some more. It was a miracle she didn't snap an arrow his way to shit him up. However while others were willing to talk as well Alex wasn't here for a discussion. "Truth is earth belongs to those who live on it end of story." Way she saw it didn't matter if you were a turtle or an alien from Uranus, a human or a thought dead species if you were living on earth the planet was 'yours'. And as such nature of a world belonged to no one person it wasn't singular and if anything it'd be easier to argue that it couldn't belong to anybody. But Alex wasn't here to discuss philosophy there was a man that was a threat, and a threat had to be put down.

Realizing nanites was a fortunate outcome of her incredible sight. The signs were few and brief easy to miss but for her they were noticed. This came from her capability of seeing the world at a constant like the finest speedster, rather then the vision of average people. Spotting this the raptors of Apex were teleported away out of harm, a sacrifice of support was fine if it meant they evaded harm. As for the other raptors released into the room they avoided Apex, she was one of them. Alex lived with three raptors their relationship was so intune she was considered apart of the pack. As for assisting Nemaz she wasted no time.

The raptor jumped in pursuit of the fellow Maverick member, Alex stepped toward and to the side as she pulled an arrow free. Rotating the arrow mid pull she plunged the arrow into the creature's side amid it's flight. The arrow slid between the ribs split open the heart and killed the raptor instantly. Pulling the arrow free she rotated drew the bowstring back and released. A clean shot happening with a almost inhuman speed.

The aim was for Carson, the arrow hard steel. Alex could put an arrow into a man in riot gear from two hundred meters away. She didn't intend to kill Carson however her arrow was aimed at a distinct angle. She'd placed her hands more toward her waist in the quick draw. It wasn't the right way to hold the bow but it allowed for the desired shot. She intended to put an arrow through the base of the jaw, through the upper jaw slightly and through the cheek. Essentially piercing the tongue shattering several teeth and pinning the man's mouth shut. Drawing another arrow she turned to take aim at Gale, remembering the previous hologram. From that to the body she was pretty sure she knew where the wing was tucked away. Right now flight wasn't to great a benefit, it was usually a more sensitive part of the body however and could be trouble if the fight was taken outside. And so Alex aimed there looking to stun and limit mobility of the employee turned opponent.
