Heroes RPG

Ok, if you've ever seen Heroes, then you'll understand.

In New York, there is a man named Sylar, and he is killing super heroes, cutting out their brains, and stealing their powers. He must be stopped. Start off in New York somewhere, and try to find Sylar, and eventually stop an exploding man.

All normal RPG rules apply, and I will make the accounts for the characters in the story.

Nate recently had his whole body turned into a metal substance and his family was keeping him indoors so noone could see. He had been like this for a couple weeks now, and the only way for him to spend his time was to see reports on TV about killings where people are having there heads cut up and brains taken. One night while he was going to go to sleep Nate started feeling weird and his hands started flashing.

*"Oh no. What is this?!" His hands stared flashing brighter and faster. "NOOO!" His whole body bured brightly and his house explode.

Several hours later the police showed up on a report of a homemade bomb. When they arrived only Nate was there on his knees in the middle of is burned down home. "What the hell are you?! Put your hands in the air!"

Nate lifted his hands slowly and said, "I didn't mean to..." A police officer handcuffed him and took him in.

Akwa waited in an alleyway in New York. He had to hide himself because water men are not exactly indiscreet.

He walked out and was startled by a bright light.

Oh crap, I've walked onto the street he thought but it was too late as everyone had seen him.

He ducked back into the alley as people started to scream.

Waiting at the cafe' script in hand Melvin thought to himself

" This time they seem interested. I don't know if I can handle another, wellll, Mr. Jux we were thinking if you change the main character into a Bostonian uppercrust type and change the school from Howard University to something in the O.C. we can do business."

Interrupting his daydream of dissapointment was mention, by the attractive anchor woman in the overhanging t.v.screen, of yet another bizarre murder where the victim's crown is removed from their skull.

getting lost in his own thoughts Melvin focused on the smoldering eyes, full lips and cafe' au lait cheeks of the anchorwoman, when the name Sylar thrust him back into his chair at the cafe' and the realization that his coffe date with studio's agent had ran 30 minutes past plan.

He also realized that his script had pencil thin striations of glass radiating on the paper from where he gripped it.

Reacting almost overdrammatically he 'subtley' scanned the room before sliding his script into his backpack, hoisting it over his shoulder adjusting his pirates cap low over his eyes and gliding out into the New York night air.

cap was in an alley way he saw a strange man on the otherside who stepped out and went back in he ran across the street to him and said"you got the same problem, huh? scott wallace" he said and put his hand out to shake it.

Dark eyes were scanning the strange behavior down on the street, the falling rain did not even make him blink.

Akhbour knew there were strange things going on in this foreign land, but one of his friends had disappeared and he was going to find out who had stolen Mike's brain.

With one hand he was checking for the third time the cutting edges of his axe when suddenly he sensed the vibrations of his communicator.

Incoming message!

Peter and his brother sat in the office in Nathan's election base. "Nathan, you know we can fly, why can't we go out and save people? Why can't we use these powers for good?" Peter stood up, and looked Nathan in the eye. "What if there are more like us out there? Are they hiding in the corner? I want to get out there, and try to help people."

Nathan looked at Peter. "Peter, I'm in the middle of an election, I'm not going to spoil it by flying all over down town New York. And if there are others like us out there, they will be hiding their abilities as well. You see Peter, the public eye won't accept us. We're changing the world Pete, and the world isn't ready for change. We can fly, but we won't. You are to stay grounded, you hear me? I can't have you ruining this election. You got that?"

Akwa turned around as a stranger introduced himself as 'Scott Wallace'.

'Oh, hello. Say, I'm new to this planet, why are people screaming and running away?"

Peter turned in disgust. "Sometimes I wonder if he really has good intensions." Peter thought to himself. He walked out the door, and down the steps, and into the street. He looked up in the sky, and saw the black sky. He sighed, and decided to go home.

Matt sat in his office chair, and waited for the other policemen to bring in his suspect. Someone knocked on the door, and he looked up to see his partner open the door, and push a man inside. "This is the one that blew up his house on 15th street. Says he didn't do it on purpose." Matt looked at the young man, who seemed scared and confused. "Give me your profile son. Where did you live, family, details about yourself. Or if you want, I could pull them out of your head. So we might as well do this the easy way. Did you blow up your house son?"

"Are you watching?" Clair yelled down to Scott. He pulled up his camera and focused it on her. "Yeah, but what're you doing on top of the cat-walk? You're going to get yourself hurt!" Clair payed no attention to Scott, and jumped off the cat-walk from 60 feet in the air. She fell, and hit the ground with a large thud, and Scott came running, screaming for help. He got to Clair, who was standing. She popped her shoulder back into place, and looked into the camera. "This is Clair Bennet, and that was attempt number one."

Lord Sturm awaited in his massive ship "Head for new york computer unit zeta and keep the cloaking field on at all times" said lord sturm in a cold calculating voice "affirmative Lord Sturm" droned Zeta unit. Now the behemoth ship has entered the stratosphere and is speeding at mach 25 to new york (it started high above moscow about 30 miles above moscow) Sturm watches the news broadcast on the holographic display "So there is a being called sylar who is stealing the powers of the superheroes hmm well he won't directly face me until I feel it is proper instead he shall face my hordes of robotic vehicles when I get there and I might turn new york into a wasteland while I'm at it" Sturm thought.

Meanwhile in Japan, Hiro sat at his office desk. He stared at his computer, and watched his screen saver go by. Hiro had always felt like he had had great power, but was stuck in a normal world. He looked up to see his clock read 4 o' clock. He consentrated on his clock. He stared into the clock for a long time, and suddenly, the clock slowed to a stop, and went back a second.

Octagon stood in a crowd of people in his human form. He thought to himself, "Who does this 'Sylar' think he his? Going around killing people. This disgusts me." Freak turned around, and walked away. He noticed that there were less and less people on the street. He heard a screaming noise, and some cracking. He pulled the darkness in around him, and became Octagon_freak. He teleported to the building where the noises were coming from. It was an old abandonned apartment building. He began running up the stairs until he found an open door with two people inside.

"I sense a disturbance in the space time continium Zeta unit bring me profiles of all beings on earth that can affect the space time continuim" requested lord sturm "Searching . Search complete 1,000,000 results shall I show them to you sir?" droned Zeta unit "Yes Zeta oh and bring us up to the thermosphere" ordered Sturm "Which half sir the ionosphere or the exosphere?" inquired Zeta unit "Ionosphere the magnetic activity shall thwart detection atempts" said sturm.

Hazard was still confused about what has happened. "I don't know what happened. I-I was turned into this metal like stuff a couple of days ago. I don't...I don't know why it just happened, so my mom told me to stay inside until she could figure out what to do..." He paused and took a deep breath. His hands were shaking with the thought of what happened. "I-I didn't mean to Sir. It just happened. My body exploded blowing up my house I don't know why or how. I just want to be normal again and have my family back."

"Is he telling the truth Parkman?" Matt turned around to see his parner. "Yeah, he is." Matt turned back to Cap. "Ok son, I'm sorry, but you family didn't make it. Can you tell me your name? We have a specialist, a person like you. He's out right now, finding someone for us. He should be back soon. Until then I'm afraid we'll have to put you in a cell."

"Umm...sure you can call me Nate." he was still very nerves. "You mean there is someone else who makes things explode?"

"No, not explode. But he can do things like you and I can. Please, follow me this way." Matt opened the door, and led Cap down a hallway to put him in a cell. "I'm sorry I had to do this, but it's law. You'll stay here until our buddy gets back."

"I understand." He walked into the cell. "What if I start to explode again? I don't want to hurt anymore."

Octagon looked in the doorway to see Sylar and a young girl. "Stop right there!" Sylar stood up. "No time to chat I'm afraid." He jumped out the window, and flew off. "He's stronger than I thought. Poor girl." Just then, Octagon's walkie-talkie went off, "Get back here on the double."

"Don't worry son." Matt walked off. A few minutes later, he came back with another mysterious figure. "This is our friend I told you about, step right in." Matt unlocked the cell, and let Octagon_freak through the door.

Octagon sat down and stared at the shiny man. He offered his hand, "Hi, I'm Octagon. You can call me Freak. So what's your story? What happened to you to make you end up here?"

Hazard looked at Octy's hand and took."Hey, Freak. You can call me Hazard. Becuase that is what I am. I am here because I am a monster. I killed my own family."

"It wasn't your fault. I teleported my girlfriend's head off by mistake. Wasn't my fault. Try and put it behind you now. I know it's rough, but try and hang in there. You'll make it, trust me. I felt the same way, but hopefully you can get a job here, and no one will have to know you did it."

"Thanks, but I don't think I will beable to forgive myself." He walked to the end of his cell and leaned against the back wall. He then slide down into a squating position. "Besides how can I help anyone?"

Freak was about to say something when there was a loud crash coming from the back of the hallway. Freak stood up, and teleported outside the cell. Matt and his partner ran up to him. "What was that?" Freak looked back at Hazard. "Stay here, you'll be safe." He turned back, and ran down the hallway. There was a door at the end. Matt walked up, "It's locked, I have the key." Matt opened the door, and a large pipe came flying at him. It pierced through him as he fell to the ground. His partner yelled for help, and knelt down beside him. Freak walked inside the door and flipped the light on. The room was full of boxes, files, papers, and evidence. Who ever was in here, well, they could've been any where. Freak stepped back, and ran back to Hazard's cell. "You wanna know how to help? Now would be a great time to start learning."

"I want to help. What do you need me to do?" Hazard jumped up to his feet and was ready for anything. This was his chance to redeem himself.

Octy broke the lock on the cell. "Follow me, this is bad." He led Hazard down the hallway, and he stepped back into the room. "There's somebody in here, think you can help me clear a path to the back? There's a lot of crap in here, so bombs away. I'll do my best to make sure you don't lose control of it."

"I don't know if I can do that. I have never tried before." He put his hands out and he started focusing. His hands were glowing brightly and the energy exploded from them clearing a path. "How was that?"

"That's great. Now lets see what we can find in here." Octagon heard something near the back corner. A door shut. "Must be another office back there, let's go."

"Better let me go first. I am pretty durable." Hazard ran down to the office door and slamed it open.

Sylar looked up to see a shiny man walk in. "Heh, you seem to be like me. I'd like to see how that works." Sylar stood up, and threw a desk at Hazard.

The desk broke against Hazards durable body. "Now its my turn." Hazard's hands started glowing again and he fired more radiation from them at Sylar.

"Oh my God! Clair!" Scott ran over to Claire, still taping. "Are you okay?" Scott put down the camera after she had finished talking.

"How'd you do that?"

"Screw this, I'm going." Akwa said as the stranger wasn't talking at all.

Akwa walked throught the human city, hiding all patches of his true skin texture to avoid any incidents.

He was walking around when he heard a voice shout something. Akwa hurried over to see what the problem was.

It appeared to be a two young humans, one male, one female. The male was holding a camcorder.

Making sure his disguise was still intact Akwa called out to them.

"Is anything wrong?"

"!! HEY EVERYONE ITS A MUTANT !!" scott shouted pointing at akwa all of a sudden a whole load of people pulled out weapons and started walking over to were he was, Scott pulled a pole from a truck and then started walking over to were akwa was "!! LOOK HE'S HARRASING THOSE TWO KIDS !!" someone shouted, scott pushed through to the front of the crowd holding the pole and then said "come on....BRING IT !!"

"Hey, what!?" cried Akwa. "Im not a mutant!"

Just then, as he adjusted his clothes, he accidentaly ripped his shirt. All could see his watery flesh.

"Look, I know this looks bad but I swear I'm not a mutant. I'm an alien."

Scott walked Claire back home that night. They said goodbye and went their separate ways.

Scott didn't sleep too good that night. He kept pulling his covers up over him more and more until he realized they were already covering his entire body. His windows, door, and AC was off too. He was still cold.

Scott awoke and their was frost on the windows. "Weird....."

Scott arrived at School and went to his locker. It was right next to Claire's. He put hia hand on the lock and opened it, but then looked back at the outside of the locker. Starting from the lock, frost covered the entire front of the locker. It quickly went away, in the Texas heat.

Scott quickly got his books into his bag and shut his locker. He turned and almost ran into Claire. "Hey Claire."

Akwa thought, What I need now is a diversion.

"Hey look over there!"

With those words, Akwa ran for it.

Scott grabbed a pole off a man threw it akwa and then ran after him with the crowd behind him and his own pole in his hand.

Claire turned to Scott from her locker and smiled,"Hey, Scott. You still have that footage from yesterday, right?"

Claire noticed the air was colder and that there was frost on Scott's locker. She pointed to Scott's locker,"What happened?"

A massive ship appeared in front of the school "Now this city shall burn once more Muhahahah" said sturm as troops , tanks ,fighters, bombers, and artillery were teleported out of the ship "You humans are toast".

Akwa dodged the pole and stopped running.

He turned around and sent a tidal wave at the stranger.

Scott just divided it in two making it wash away the homosapiens he then created a gun and shot bullets of fire at akwa.

Femoceanique found herself wondering what was going on in this world.

Ooc: Sturm, please don't come in and bomb everything. This is a delicate storyline, and I can't have it all being being blown to bits. There isn't anyone in Texas that can fend off the attack, so please, back off.

The bullets tore several holes in Akwa, which healed almost imediately.

'Have to try a bit better then that!"

U-Mos flew into texas but stopped before he hit the ground "Ahh what a beutiful country" mused U-Mos as he wandered throught texas.
