The labyrinth of flowers was always a spectacular view for her. It was arranged to resemble the styles of different cultures in their galaxy, and the different tastes of her people. It was always hailed as a wonder to behold for those lucky enough to lay eyes upon it. To her it was her sanctuary, the place she would always run and hide to when she needed to get away from the pressures of the world. Or just the place where she went to to imagine a different life.
Sariaf'ca strolled along the blue flowers of Gugirt, they resembled sunflowers but with a more intricate design. Her soft hands touched along the petals of rare flower. Her head canted as she examined it and spoke to it in her native tongue. She smiled and closed her eyes, losing herself in the silky feel of the petals, but her hands soon retracted and she walked towards another flower.
How she longed for so much in her life. Adventure, freedom, love.... Love. She thought with a deep burning in her heart. Immediately she was assaulted by the images of Jean, his face, his touch, his lips. She took a deep breath and lay her fingers along her lips. Was she mad to feel what she was? Could such a deep emotion truly arise in someone in a chanced meeting? She sighed feeling the deep aches in her heart. Love was something not afforded to a Queen, let alone one who would die when she least expected it. And not to one who dared fall for a stranger. But one that had saved her life. Confusion was written all over her face and she stopped.
"What is happening...." And as the words left her purple lips she heard the voice of the man whom she'd just thought of. His accented voice floating across the air like the notes of a piano. She thought of just turning and leaving, but her body stood still and defiant and her heart beat to look at him. She turned to meet his red glowing eyes, feeling a fire burn deep within her soul. She could not hide it and she knew it. He could probably see it and sense in her.
"Jean..." She spoke softly and gave a soft nod of the head, controlling the urge to fall into this strangers arms. "You look better. I am glad for that.... my savior." Her lips parted in a smile and she walked towards him softly, standing regal infront of the man who she longed for.
