Smoke, poverty, depression and the constant feeling that someone was going to try and shank him in an alleyway filled the atmosphere. The buildings looked as sad as the people and the roads were filled with edginess. He didn't need his tracker to find out he was in Gothic City, the home of gloom, homelessness, and possibly death metal. As he stepped out of the crater, and out of the back alley he was in, the hairs all over him stood up as he realized that it was worse than usual. Homelessness took over the city by force. People held out their hands towards him as he walked by them, he tried to help by conjuring paper money, but failed.
As he continued to his journey, forcing himself to drown out the cries for help, he passed by a construction site with what appeared to be an Asian man and a little girl overseeing the entire site. 'What kind of lunatic would wants to build property here'. The Young Sun thought as he continued on his path through the Dark City. His mind wandered to his home, Valor City, and the unspeakable crimes that happened there. The screamer he heard as he helplessly watched as his mother was killed in front of him. The face of the man who ran away, leaving him to hold his mother's lifeless body.
Now the anger was returning, he wanted to see the culprit again. To wrap his hands around his neck and crush it. To turn him into a flesh cube...a cube. Right, he was here because of some space cube It was a hexah...hexah...hexah..damn it, he couldn't remember the name of it but it was a glowing space cube. He pushed the anger aside, where it will sit until he has a reason to unleash it. Something was telling him that he was in the wrong place, call it a gut feeling, but he ignored it because almost every single power stone fell inside Earth's borders. "Why are the most important factors of the universe always managed by a Stone" He muttered to himself as he continued walking. Why was he walking instead of just warping spacetime? Perhaps he needed to clear his mind and couldn't enjoy the luxury of a park. But what was certain to him was that he needed to find these Space Dice before someone with evil motives did.
Dice flew across the levitating table as crowds of aliens from everywhere surrounded them. Keith was in one of the participants in the final round of an interplanetary tournament known as Armanda (basically an argumentation of Chess and Battleship with objective of destroying the other's fleet and reaching the other side of a 40 foot long battleground). The Miracleson looked into two of the many eyes of his opponent as their arms flared around strategically moving the pieces that were hidden from Pul-Star. As they were revealed to him, he realized that there was no way he was going to win this. He threw in the towel, and his opponent accepted their prize as Keith grumbled about howrigged the game was.
Leaving the room, Keith head out onto the busy roads and sat down. The multiple languages passed through his ears as they were translated towards him. Some of these unusual creatures were talking about everyday schedule, he ignored them and continued to look up at the star filled sky. He closed his eyes and felt as if he was ascending into a higher stage. He heard something whisper, something, no someone, calling his name faintly. He got up and followed the voices, which lead him into a room illuminated by what seemed to be a lone lightbulb in the middle of the room. The voices were strong here, encouraging Keith to enter the room. He stepped inside, and then exact moment the room transformed into what looked like a normal room. A group of humanoids in both or white, were standing in various poses, but all were ready for the Heir of the Universe’s ( a self-proclaimed title) arrival.
*”<>”=Translated from an Innate Language <Welcome Son of Altair, we have called you here to address a problem we have experienced from the planet, you home planet, Earth-> The centermost one spoke, but was quickly interrupted by Keith, who was annoyed by the title and the mention of his home planet. <Listen, I don’t just listen to anyone who just look like a band, and if this being of power is on Earth, you have no problem because everyone there can now suddenly lift mountains, so if you can just get you voices out of my head. I’d be great.>The entirety of the group were unamused by the mocking tone of the Young Sun. Another one spoke, this one from the back of the group <That isn’t us, but the universe helping you seek out your purpose. And your connection to the Universe has made you the best possible candidate for this mission.>
<And what exactly is this mission you wish to send this perfect candidate on?> His ego was now being scratched, making him more prone to listen.
<One of the objects associated with the provenance of fundamental influences of the universe has been found on Earth in the form of a smoldering hexahedron. It is your onus to regain possession of this entity of paramount importance and escort it back to us so we can return it to its proper place>
Keith’s face turned into the embodiment of confusion after the being finished talking. <Say that again so I can understand. I can’t perform a mission if I don’t understand a word you just said.>
<At least one Fundamental Cube (Omega Cube) is on Earth and we need you to get it for us before it breaks the natural balance that is our Universe>The entity repeated, unsure of why he didn't understand him the first time
Keith nodded in understanding, his didn’t entirely trust them with an object of such importance, but he didn’t really have a reason not to. They dismissed him, and turned the room back into it’s run-down state. It seemed like every aspect of the universe was managed by a stone, and that these stones just seemed to grow on Earth’s trees. “What the hell did I agree to”He muttered under his breath as his USTS showed him both the direction and coordination of Earth. “Einstein may be wrong, perhaps God does play dice, and he seemed to have gotten an addiction” After finding the location, he took off through the cosmos, warping spacetime until he got to his destination
