"There have been many theories about which events spawned the birth of our Universe. Was it some sort of massive explosion? Or was it a bored celestial entity? Did it ever really matter? On the grand scheme of things our universe exists as a mere microcosm to what few know as a multiverse. It's a truly fascinating concept hundreds of similar worlds, which coexist parallel to ours.

Universes' that flourish with time, until the same chaotic force extinguishes it's light. Leaving no life to build anew. One of these omnipresent forces is Xiao Zing, she destroys until there's nothing left to destroy; and then she continues on a path of destruction. Then, there is the Phoenix. Another child of the Multiverse, It too arrives with a devastating sense of destruction; but at its finish new life is created. I believe the last time the Phoenix arrived--Humans were created.

I tried to stay away, I tried to keep it under wraps as long as I could, but they kept coming. The same people that plagued me with the curse kept coming to rub it in my face. And now it has completely warped my soul. It's powerful, so much that, it has fully expunged Y-intercept from my system. So much as I am no longer the same person. It has come to feed. It has come to destroy. It has come to Rebirth.

The presence of the cosmic force seared through the fabrics of reality. The fiery winds began to blow, incinerating most of the surrounding local vegetation. Streams, Rivers and Ponds begin to dry. Through the ripples of reality, The Crimson Sorceress emerged surrounded by broken universes trapped in little plates that circumvent her body.

These were shattered worlds, worlds broken by their own champions. Soon this world would join them; it’d become a collective plate for the Phoenix to forever cherish.

“Zeus demanded the creation of Pandora, and when he did he set her upon the Earth. She was given extravagant gifts from all the gods, but curiosities got the better of the beautiful carrier; and when it did all the evils the box contain spread across the Earth. When she finally managed to close the container…only hope remained.

The 5’11 Cosmic Cardinal Goddess extend both her hands to the skies releasing a cataclysmic eruption of energy into the atmosphere. Fragments of the Earth around her swirled into the concoction gated by the universe fragments circumventing the energy.

“What happens if there is no hope”?

Floating to the epicenter of the energy, The Crimson Goddess dispersed 2 major energy beacons worldwide. The first worked more like an alarm clock; it’d awaken the herald’s she’d chosen beforehand. The second was an attack, but not at all a direct attack more like a psychological attack.

Sydney, Australia

It didn’t take long the city felt it instantly. The energy hit the city like a violent hurricane zephyr. People stopped mid-stride with no regards of their surroundings. Dogs stopped barking, Cat’s quit meowing; choosing to instead cuddle amongst their selves with little care. Not even the desire to eat could break the curse—they’d starve themselves to death completely vulnerable to their willingness to relax.

All across the world people were “resting”, but at only 10% of power Maya’s energy didn’t reach everyone, with each herald awakening she’d get stronger by absorbing the negative energy. With each herald a new sin would enter the boiling pot until the seven deadly sins broke this world.

There were certain advantages to being Ethan Snow. One, the fact he could make as many clones of himself as he chose as long as matter existed to support them. Two, he had no emotional connection to pretty much anything. And Three, he was connected to every one of his clones in a special wat creating something similair to a hive mind and something that made him essentially immune to control of his mind or body. Especially considerint he had clones not only in one dimension but many. It was mainly because of these reasons Agent Snow found himself same as ever. That or perhaps his artifficial nth metal if it were magic. But there were few magics powerful enough to effect so many of the same person across dimensions. Or perhaps it was merely his extensive training. But the point was Agent Snow noticed the strange effects. He reported it of course and then decided he'd have to do something.

Since he was already across the globe he just had to find the source. Using Heimdall he located the strange energy signature. Three of him stood below her looking up with emotionless eyes, in a loud but uncaring voice they all shouted, "Desist! You're actions are causing chaos that will not be allowed." He simply waited after that. If she did not desist all three would fire a barrage of artificial nth bullets at her from their pistols, about equal to real nth. He realized he was probably outmatched but heroes would come. They always did.

Apokolips

Everything happened so quickly, she couldn’t figure out what was going on. She was captured, held prisoner by the past version of her sister, Maya, held against her will. Then, she was sent into an alternate dimension. She didn’t have time to assess what was going on, what kind of world she was in, because as quickly as she was banished to this other world, she was brought back. Her mind swirled with confusion. What was going on? What was happening? How did things get so messed up? This was all because of her, she did this, Tassiana Pettis. Once more a Liafador screwed the world over.

No Caption Provided

“Tassiana!” She heard a voice bark out at her over and over again. Her eyes blinked a few times, trying to figure out what the current state of situation was. Her world was in a haze at the moment. Her sapphire blue eyes fixed on her sister and… her brother? What was he doing here? Leo and Maya were now in a battle against each other and their mother, Ziccarra, had been pulled into the battle as well. This was a mess, this was a complete mess. “TASSIANA!” the voice roared louder, in demand, and her attention torn away from the battle and to the White Cardinal, Zeon. She was holding Chance in her arms, who seemed to be just as confused with the current situation at hand. “Tassiana, get Chance out of here, NOW!” It was a command, one that she felt obligated to fulfill. She had to, this mess was because of her.

“What about you!?” Tassi realized what she was asking for, she was asking for Chance to be taken, but not herself, why? Chances eyes widen as well, she spoke something to Zeon, but couldn't hear because of the chaos going on around them.

Zeon’s eyes fixated on someone else who was also trapped in this world. Vinicius Corvo, a childhood friend who also shared the bond of Darkforce with. They had a connection that she was unable to describe, but she couldn’t bring herself to leave him here alone. “I’ll be fine, you just protect my sister, inteso?” <Understood?> Chance began shaking her head furiously at her older sister who's own hands were pressed against Chances shoulders. Her expression softened, for just a moment, gently caressing her sisters face before leaning forward and giving a kiss upon her sisters forehead.

With a hesitant nod of her head she suddenly vanished from the chaos, and teleported to the only place she had ever really felt safe at.

Sicily, Italy: Birth of Gluttony and Greed

Her body appeared in the middle of the vineyard as workers were busy tending to the plants. The white cardinals gasped at her sudden appearance as she forced herself to stand up from the soiled Earth. Looking around frantically she had to be sure nothing threatening was around, as the White Cardinals began questioning her. Was she ok? Was something wrong? She didn’t have time to answer these petty questions. Closing her eyes she held out her hands before her, focusing on the single energy single until… “Got you!” She yelled out, and with a twist of her wrist a blue hue of energy emerged from her palms as petite figure suddenly appeared before her as she ‘pulled’ Chances energy towards her, allowing her to teleport her in the middle of the vineyard with her.

White Cardinals began to gather around, instantly caring for the Matriarchs younger sister. “Take her back to the winery and tend to her.” Tassiana ordered. Without question the Cardinals obeyed as Tassiana closed her eyes once more. She was focusing on trying to find her sister, but she had moved? Where? Where did she- then she felt it. The energy of an entity so powerful that it almost brought completely destruction to the Earth at one point. She had never felt it before, but heard legends of it. Yes, she felt it residing in Maya, but she had never allowed herself to unleash the power, like she did right now. Two waves of Phoenix energy were spreading across the world like a blanket, and no one would be able to hide from it. Not even herself. But then the second Phoenix energy signature, it was moving faster than the other, and it seemed to be moving to a specific location.. “Oh no.” she whispered, but by the time she realized what was happening, it was too late.

The energy came at her like a sudden flash of fire, blinding her as it collided into her body, engulfing her in a fire that didn’t scorch her body or the Earth around her. The power, it was so great that it forced the mighty Liafador-Pettis down to the ground as she grasped handfuls of dirt within her hands. Several White Cardinals began to come to her aid, but in a domino effect, one by one they begun to fall to the ground, laying where they were once standing, the power of sloth had come over them. Even the highly trained Cardinals were no match for the influence of the Phoenix.

“Aaaarrrgggghhh!” she yelled out, trying to keep Cosmic Energy at bay within herself. But she could feel the power of the legendary Phoenix begin to work inside her mind, clashing against her power that she was born with being a hybrid of a Cardinal Goddess and New God. Her jaw clenched tightly, she couldn’t allow herself to be taken over, she couldn’t! But it was overwhelming, even with just a mere fraction of the power inside of her, it was too much for her mind to withstand. How did Maya fight so much of it off for the amount of time she did? Why didn’t she come for help? Why didn’t she- The power began to finally wash over the Darling Pettis, being baptized in the cosmic energy. It was like being reborn. Her mind felt... free. Free of guilt, doubt, confusion, sorrow, anger, bitterness… it was like she was seeing clearly for the first time. Was this what her sister was feeling the entire time? How did she not embrace it sooner?

No Caption Provided

Slowly she rose up from the ground, looking down upon her hands as she could feel the sudden need to spread her own power unto the world. Her body began to rise up from the ground as a soft ember glow could be seen radiating off her body. Her eyes glowed amber as she looked up to the sky, her power would touch all along this region of the world. She outstretched her arms as she looked up towards the clear blue sky. A chaotic wave of energy exploded from her body, causing the vineyard become shredded under the effects of her display of power.

Tassiana’s power swept over Italy within seconds, and minutes around it's surrounding countries. Citizens who were once under the influence of sloth, were now under the control of Gluttony and Greed. People rose from where they sat and without a second thought began grasping at the first edible thing they could grasp upon. Shoving it into their mouth without regard. Those were in restaurants were shoving their faces with their meal, waiters grasping food from the customers plates while the cooks burned the flesh off their hands and the inside of their mouths trying to eat the searing hot food off the stoves. Others who were on the streets began digging in trash, grasping the first sign of food they could get. Animals too began to sniff around for food. Those animals who had no food, began to shift to their savage instincts, going after animals smaller than themselves. Even after someone ate to the fill of their belly, and their stomach ached from the amount of food they ate, they still continued to eat. Regurgitating the food every so often only to dig their fingers into it and eat it again.

Then the greed began to kick in, people grasping food from other people, even though they had enough to feed several people. Like hordes of hungry beasts they began to rush into grocery stores, gathering as much food as they could, stealing food from other people. It wasn’t enough food, they needed more, so much more! Chaos filled the streets no one was keeping law and order, no one was keeping the people safe from themselves. Were there no heroes to stop the people from trying to eat themselves to death? To keep their stomach from exploding inside of them? Was there no hope?

Apokolips

get Chance out of here, NOW!
get Chance out of here, NOW!

“Tassiana!” Zeon roared again and again, holding a confused Chance in her arms as the two sat on the ground. It felt as if everything was beginning to unravel. Leo had made an appearance, but instead of helping the situation, he engaged in combat with Maya. That fool, he was strong, physically strong, but Maya? She was powerful. More powerful than her mother and father combined. The only person who was probably strong enough to stop her? Well she was sitting on the ground in her own haze of confusion before them. “TASSIANA!” Zeon roared out once more, anger in her voice as the Sapphire Cardinal finally turned to her. “Tassiana, get Chance out of here, NOW!” she commanded her cousin from the future.

She could instantly feel the looks of concern coming from Chance, her sister's grasp onto her forearm tightened. “I need to do something, but I can’t do it with you here, I need to make sure you’re safe, ACTUALLY safe. Tassiana, is powerful, she can make sure you’re safe until this ends.” Her eyes looked over to Vinicius Corvo, she watched as Maya had just blessed… or cursed him, with the power of The Phoenix Force. Why Vinicius? She couldn’t figure out, but she knew the corrupting power of the Phoenix Force, she needed to try and help him, just like he helped her when the Darkforce had awakened inside of her. “I’ll be fine,” The Cardinal of Rage spoke out to Tassiana. “You just protect my sister, inteso?” <understood?> But then she saw Chance shaking her head. For once, in a long time, Zeon’s expression soften, she felt an almost peace finally being reunited with her sister, even if it was just for a moment. Gently caressing her sisters face, she then leaned forward and gave a kiss upon her sisters forehead. She looked up to see that Tassiana was already gone. It was just moments before Chance would be under her protection, but before she was pulled away, Zeon placed something in her sisters hands, the seashell bracelet that she gave her the day the two met. “Torno per questo” <I’ll be back for that.> In that moment, Chance suddenly vanished from Zeon’s grasp, leaving The Matriarch alone in the chaos.

VINI!
VINI!

Her eyes fixated on Vini as she stood up from the ground, making her way towards him as followers of Maya began to approach her. Pulling out the crimson lightsaber that Corvo gave her, she activated it, the deadly glow of it kissing upon her face as she grit her teeth, the Cardinal Goddess of Rage channeling the power of the Darkside that now resided inside of her. One by one she began to slice them down without any hesitation as she made her way towards Vinicius. “VINI!” Zeon roared out, throwing her hand out as she force pushed another one of Maya’s priests across the battlefield. Her time in the Reality M allowed her to train her Darkfore abilities, helping her develop her skills in The Force. “Dobbiamo Uscire di qui!” <We need to get out of here!> She yelled out in their native tongue, hoping the sound of her voice with the words of his first language would pull his attention away from the battle and to her. She couldn't leave him alone here to die, the Phoenix Force would manipulate his mind if he wasn't careful, she had to try and keep him grounded.

@agent_snow: @maya_liafador:

Outer Space

Space was a cold and frozen vacuum. But at the Edge of the Universe? Where no stars were born and galaxies never formed and spiraled? It was cold enough to suspend time itself. Particles hovered frozen in a blackness that was omnipresent. And Apokolips, the dead planet, remained the only object in sight, a scorched and lifeless rock from which the Phoenix Force had risen to start the universe anew. Farther and farther, Leonel flew, accelerating through the cosmos till he felt space grow warmer, till the pitch blackness gave way to stars closest to the edge of the universe. He saw them, twinkling in the distance, his bio-electric field surging and roaring as an ion beam rumbled and hummed behind him, thrusting him forward.

His wounds had healed now. His battle with Maya, Vinicius and Ziccarra had left him battered... but he'd acquired what he needed; a fragment of the Phoenix Force. His muscle fibers twitching and his eyes flashing bright, the Posthuman God wielded his great power and forged a magnetic monopole that saw a flux of energy burst in front of him as he tore through the barriers of space, collapsing the walls set by the universe's limits and warping the space around him until the fabric of the universe swallowed whole... and spat him out near the heart of the Milky Way galaxy, in a region far too hot, so hot that matter no longer behaved normally. Plasma ran rampant, whipping all about as disks of superheated gas spun about him, molded by gravity and the core forces of a lively universe. New stars were being born... and it was their energy that Leonel commanded. Their radiant energy that he pulled into himself.

No Caption Provided

Streams of the cosmic stuff of stars spiraled towards him, seeping into his pores, absorbed into his cells. He'd need it. Every bit of their energy would be his to command against the Phoenix Force, against Maya. Without the power of stars that would never be, Leonel would stand no chance, not even with his fragment of the Phoenix Force. His muscles swelled, his veins surfaced and pulsed at the edges of his skin. His flesh and hair glowed and his eyes burned with the power of the Posthuman God. More and more energy was poured into him. The power of young stars with so much life to give. They would have spawned planets. Some of them with life. These stars, their energy, their potential for life, came together with what remained of the Phoenix Force inside of Leonel and gave birth to something new.

A new power. One that drew it's vigor and quality from the portion of the Phoenix Force that gave life and didn't destroy it. He was ready now, the Prince of Power. As ready as he would ever be to face the greatest threat of his life.

Perth, Australia, Earth

Entering the Earth's atmosphere, Leonel felt the air flatten against him, burning up at his sides and forming a cone of scorching red. Behind him, sonic booms rippled and tore the sky asunder. Faster and faster, the Prince of Power descended into the Earth, the air's rapid thermal expansion yielding a loud and sharp crack that drew fear from many a culture; thunder. He felt it. His senses flared and went into a craze. He could feel the Phoenix Force, Maya... in Australia. Brow scowled and his spirit determined, Leonel blitzed through the skies. What he'd done was risky. Absorbing even a fragment of the Phoenix Force could corrupt anyone. If not for his super-adaptive genetic component, he too would have been tainted and broken.

Instead he struggled.. but remained sane and in control, for now. All over the world, the Phoenix's energy raged. And Perth? Perth had seen the worst of it. Rubble and debris were all about, and Maya's energy tore through all that stood in her path. From a distance, the Prince of Power spotted her. He sighed. "This is it", he murmured, clenching his fists and tapping into the power he'd stored in his cells. His muscles swelled, his veins surfaced, and his flesh reddened. The concrete pavement cracked under his boots, under the weight of his power. Energy expelled from his pores, first appearing white and transparent as it pushed the winds it passed through. More energy expelled and the edges of his hair glowed white, subtly flowing upward as though floating in air, the heat molecules rising without control. More and more energy expelled from him, whipping and scorching anything around him until he darted into the sky.

No Caption Provided

The aura of energy around his was wild, spiraling like a tornado as cool and warm air clashed, electrical arcs surging all about him as he headed for Maya. There were three men there with her. All of them identical in appearance. All of them confronting her. The Prince of Power's eyes glowed red and shot a colossal beam of red at his sister. A beam that generated no heat, radiation, electrical or magnetic fields. A beam made not from energy but a gargantuan stream of exotic matter. Matter made of only one 'color' of gluon, a quality that made possible it's strange and on-of-a-kind properties. It was a beam whose exotic matter was ultra-dense and extremely heavy, liked the crushed stuff of neutron stars. It wouldn't burn or vaporize her. Instead it would blast into Maya with an unholy amount of god-slaying force. Enough to either punch a hole half the size of her through her.. or blast her into and through the moon.

"Don't waste your time", Leonel told, arriving to hover next to the three men. "Talking to her won't do any good. I've tried before. This is something we're gonna have to stop by force. Diplomacy has failed. And when diplomacy fails, our only choice is war".

@orpheus_knightfall:

Sicily, Italy: The Lampedusa Beach

They stood along the sandy shore of Sicily's Lampedusa Beach, the immoral alliance of Christopher Knightfall, Leonardo Dark, and Orpheus Knightfall. Leon was still, his jaw set, sunlight glinting off his navy blue armor. Volo's yellow cowl was drawn over his vibrating visage, the ghastly luminescence of his eyes starkly akin to red suns, electricity violently crackling about his stocky frame as his iron will and connection to the speed-force warred against the psionic waves of gluttony and greed sweeping throughout Italy, diffused by the Liafador that boiled Leon's blood like no other.

"It's Tassiana," said Leon to his associates, grimacing as raw power surged at his fingertips, as the ground lightly quaked with his resistance, as he just barely asserted his own will over that of his relative's. He clutched his rapidly beating heart with a gloved hand, as though probing it for weakness that would make him succumb if it wasn't purged. He was angry, furious, at both Tassiana and himself. At Tassiana for her weakness, her feeble resistance. And at himself for the remnants of affection that clung like dirt to his soul. "I sense her. Unfortunately, this mind seems to sense her as well... it's making me sick."

Evidently concerned, Christopher turned to his associate, firmly grasping his armored shoulder, like that of an older brother. "It's alright Leon, just breath. Remind yourself of our mission. You hate your niece as much as I do, if not more because of the suffering she causes you now. Be consumed by it. Reverse every ounce of affection into hatred and disappointment. Remember that we're here to save the world, one dead Liafador at a time. Isn't that right, Orpheus?"

Leon swallowed, still clutching his chest, his skin pale. He closed his eyes, gritting his teeth, the ground quaking, cracks beginning to tear it asunder. Dirt, sand, and pebbles rose and revolved all about the trio as the Liafador fought the tornado of emotions within himself. Battled against the funnel of affection that sought to build within his chest as he sensed his niece. He reversed it into enmity, disappointment, and chagrin as he counted her many sins, over and over, in his twisted mind. And then it was done. The dust had settled and the tremors stopped. His eyes burned with the heat of the sun, knuckles whitened as he fixed his stare in the general direction of his bewitched niece. Beside him, Christopher smirked.

"Are we ready to begin?" The Dark Speedster asked, his voice dissonantly serene as he questioned his relative, Orpheus, and his ally, Leonardo, with whom he shared some unknown connection that made him quite confident in Leon's loyalty. "The Zero Liafadors Plan start with the most foolish and depraved of them all; Tassiana."

Almost 2 years (According to Licther's thread) has passed before Tassi's actions on Asgard coupled with The Outlaw Queen in Spain had wrought forth devestating results. Maya Liafador returned to Earth completly intoxicated by the power of the Phoenix Force. She rest her head in her fiancé lap knowing this could possibly be the last time she ever saw her daughter alive. Either Maya was going to kill her, or they'd have to kill Maya for the sake of everyone. Alexis caressed the side of her face; both of them entangled in dead silence with their minds wrapped around different course of actions. "Maybe, I can...(No) Alexis started, but Ziccarra immediatly interjected. "Promise me, you will not get involved." Tears begin to glide down her face once more; she already knew what he was proposing. "I watched you nearly unravel when Catalina killed herself, I cannot allow you to watch Leonel kill his sister, or me my daughter. You may always be the loving father/husband you have always been, but you will never look at us the same. Promise me, you will not enter this conflict. Until you have to do what we could not--Save the World"

How's my baby...
How's my baby...

He didn't say anything, instead the former husband and wife made eye contact and the deal was made. On the outside of their compound things were getting worse. The first wave hit and people begin to relax; relaxing to the point of starvation, to the point where their bodies entered comatose states--until they relaxed themselves to death. The sense of worry that natrually burrowed through a mother's stomach begin to subside when her gold galaxy s7 edge begin to ring, the caller--Catalina.

"Darling, thank goodness where are you? How is my baby" She asked releasing a deep sigh.

"It's ok mom, I sensed it coming. We're ok. Tassi is fine"

"Where are you, I am coming to get you."

"No, don't. We're...in the Pit"

Upon the revelation Ziccarra's heart stop, being in the Pit was almost worst than being here and now. Ziccarra's face burned red; she wanted to scream, but she couldn't. Catalina was a genetic replica of herself, and other than Zeon; Tassi was with the woman who had cared for her the most.

"Becareful my love. My the Goddess be with you. The Liafador family pit was a journey in itself. There was only one way in, and one way out. In order to see the light of day again...both Catalina and baby Tassi had to make it out

"Darling. I cannot sit on the sidelines anymore. I Am Joining the battle."

"I shall return" called out in Alexis' direction. He stood in a black tank-top and basketball shorts, his eyes told a different story; he wanted to fight with his family. She couldn't allow him to do it, he was far more emotional than she was; these type of things hurt him to the core. "Trust me. I will bring our children home...all of them."

Downtown

Lightining struck the pavement in a crowded downtown L.A, the major difference was. No one moved, no one cared people casually glance in her direction, but for the most part they ignored the fact that Ziccarra arrived. "Maya what have you done." She murmured. She watched as people literally didn't care enough to breathe. Like Ziccarra there were people actually immune from the effects of the first wave, for whatever reason they stood dumbfounded as love one's immediatly fell victim to the Phoenix's far reaching powers.

Her Cardinal skills kept her mentally aligned, having a mere taste of what full Phoenix meant on Apokolips. But she knew that with each coming wave...her chances of maintaining mental stability was heavily reduced.

The Earth shook for a second time, this was a new wave. With this new wave a few of the people that were so willingly allowing themselves to die, jumped up in an almost rabid manner and began pillaging nearby food stores. "Gluttony....Sloth. She's killing us with our own sins." Ziccarra deduced, but the Phoenix's powers couldn't reach this far could they?

Screams alerted the Goddess, her head veered right, a man was pinned down as a woman tried to eat him. This wasn't like the events of Emerald City; this woman was so blinded by the Sin of Want that she began to eat a man that was still in a slothful state.

Thrusting herself forward, The Malagan Goddess executed a series of piroettes with her bullwhip in hand. Latching on to the arms of the cannibalistic humans, she spun around sending them flying into a nearby window. It was now clear that in massive cities such as this--She was going to need more help.

Gothic city.

Jason felt it. A surge of power. He wasn't sure what it was at first. It made him think of if fire had surged through his body but left him unharmed. And he realized now was the opportunity to speed evolution again. As long as he had this power he could do extra good. He left the building he was in looking at his gloved hands.

Yes. Yes, this power can be used indeed. But not here. Let's go somewhere they won't be expecting me.

He tried to feel what exactly he had gained. It was not just being filled with energy. It was so much more. He felt somehow lighter. A grin formed behind his mask. "Here we go."

He started running towards the bay. "If this doesn't work I'll be soaking wet, and feel like an idiot." He said to himself leaping just as he reached the edge. Flames burst from his feet and he flew into the air like a jet. Whoah! Time to get to work.

He flew towards New York. What better place to attack the more powerful heroes? On the way he tested his other theory. Blasts of energy shot forth from his hands at absolutely any hero he saw that he thought might not absorb it. Heh heh heh. I gotta try something else. He flew downwards grabbing a cars front and flipping it before breaking off two pieces of piping. He used the equivalent to a constant energy blast to form two energy sword blades off of them.

Come at me heroes!
Come at me heroes!

Now armed with energy words and these new found powers he was intent on bringing on the destruction that would serve his goal, "Come at me heroes!" He taunted leaping from building to building wielding his energy swords and wreaking havoc.

OOC: I feel like this was badly done but I had to try.

New powers: Energy blasts. Flight. Energy swords (pretty much just a technique). Enhanced physical capabilities. Mainly Strength, nervous system and brain/mind attack resistance, and surviving seemingly impossible situations.

I do hope I did this right.

Phobos-2

The first question he asked himself was why? His feet dangled over the edge of the massive shaft that lead to the ground below and he still asked himself the question. Why be a hero, why try and save the people of Earth. In all honesty he didn't know, maybe it was boredom, maybe it was a drive to do something more, maybe it was just to have a good time.

The central command room of Phobos-2 was run by a massive supercomputer that harnessed quantum computing to function at the rates he would need to get radio signals from Earth in a reasonable amount of time. The system as a whole still needed some fine tuning to try and shorten the inevitable delay of sending transmissions through space. Today though, it may have saved his life.

The alarm went off alerting him that there was danger on Earth. Police radios, phone calls, news outlets, all their information was fed through satellites. Satellites he had tapped into(illegally on Earth but, he was from Regalius) and was now getting his information from. His algorithms searched for keywords(ie Destruction, Casualties, etc) and filtered them until he had a potential threat. The alarm would then sound and he would investigate the problem. Today he was feeling risky though, there was a good chance that this was nothing. In fact it was around %80 yet, he still felt like checking this one out in person.

“Computer, begin deployment sequence”

“Right away...running deployment.exe”

A green light flashed moments later and his hands pushed off against the ledge. His body plummeted towards the bottom of the shaft, as he moved countless rows of suits raced past. A standard Copper Titan suit powered up and began the descent with him. Once it had caught up to his speed it began to open allowing Ronald Larson to enter the copper colored machine just as he passed through the Z-Stabilizer.

Sicily, Italy

A massive yellow pane formed in the ransacked streets of Italy, from that pane emerged the mechanical master himself Neuromind. This was the name he had decided on for himself when the decision to begin the hero's crusade was first made.

“Fear not Citizens, Neuromind is here”

From his knowledge to Earth heroes saying things like that were very reassuring to the people around. However all they did was stuff their faces, he did a variety of things to catch their attention but, they still simply ate anything in sight. Deduction would prove they were under some kind of effect, either it was a drug or some sort of psychological assault. Either way his goal would be the same.

“Computer, deploy twenty CT’s to my location. Set their protocol to search and rescue.”

Sixty second went by before another yellow pane opened up behind him. From it a group of twenty machines, all identical to the suit he was wearing began searching for civilians. They would try and remove them from the area and keep them contained until a conclusion could be reached on how to solve their current.. affliction.

Larson, on the other hand, set out in search of what could be causing such a situation.

Porto Pino, Italy -- Graydein Estate

Angel Delavigne soaked alone in a flower bath on a private estate of the Italian island of pink sand. She drank Sicilian olde grapes musing over the visual and sonic direction of her sophomore album. Pen, paper and breakout Fraiglais single "Venez" played on her wireless speakers synced with her iPhone. Moodboarding was her organic way of holding creative control over her projects before the suits and ties threw numbers and trends at her. The 4th quarter board meeting was right around the corner and she hadn't even picked a Pantone.

She sifted her stiletto manicured fingers through her raven locks, making note to color her hair a new shade. She rested her head on the marble tub, slinking into an overdue sleep, the burn of the sun had no affect on her rest....

A thunderous rumble awoke her from her lucid dreaming. The view of the foliage below was shaded by the darkness of night. Realizing the time she spent sleeping in her flower bath, she quickly rose letting the water and roses flow off her limber body. "CLAIRE!"she called out grabbing a cream colored towel to dry the calendula oil sheening her body. The estate was pitch dark, the moonlight served as the houses only source of light.

The songstress turned back outside to her rose bath to grab her cellphone. She read five missed calls, one from Shinji Tsukazaki, another from her French playboy Reeves. Three were from Claire. As her suspicions flared off another thunder pounded the islands surface followed by the silent rustle of trees. A cool wind had picked up, pushing Angel into her empty estate for clothes. Navigating the darkness with an intuitive ease, she went upstairs to her bedroom. Her call to Claire went straight to her voicemail. Her concern rose. She grabbed a cropped tank top, running shorts and black ankle high combat boots. She grabbed a tiny backpack and threw her phone charger in. Feeling the wetness of her hair seeping through her top, she tied her hair into a high pony tail.

Once she stepped onto her lawn the sky looked unnaturally dark in stark contrast to the illuminated moonlight. It gave her goosebumps that the cool breeze couldn't. She walked the paved street and saw a flocks of birds flying the opposite direction. She glanced at the Aries full moon one more time before deciding to run towards the beach. Something told her she would find Claire there, she did ask Angel earlier if she wanted to go to the beachside restaurant with her.

No Caption Provided

She ran the route to the beach and arrived more confused than she was prior. People were cavorting as if nothing peculiar was going on. That indicated that someone or something was summoning her in particular to the beach. But who or what?, she thought, dropping to her knees. She cupped the pink sand and let it trickle through her fingers as she performed her divination. Each sand particle tethering her closer to the answer. As the last weight of sand left her fingers another thunder struck the grounds followed by the crash of water.

She looked to the ocean and saw the water rising at the horizon. She could run, but the children, the people on the beach visibly had zero awareness of the natural disaster frothing their way.

"RUN!" she screamed pointing at the oceans horizon. "RUN!"The beachgoers looked at her funny trying to register what she screamed before looking to the horizon. They got her message and ran for the mainland. Claire stuck in her mind and she sprinted for the restaurant navigating her phone. She was able to text and called Claire with no reply before she finally made it to the bar/grill.

"There's a tsunami coming towards us! You have to leave!" she screamed storming into the restaurant. The diners and drinkers looked to the ocean and realized the danger. She pushed through the crowd looking for her friend. "CLAIRE!" she screamed with no reply.

The restaurant had cleared by the time she made it out the opposite side and back onto the beach. Her phone had buzzed in her hand, startling her. She dropped it into the sand and knelt into the sand to grab it. It was Claire. She poked at the touch screen attempting to slide her sandy hand across the sandy screen. Once she finally got through she asked Claire where she was.

"The house? Where are you? I thought you were going to Maluka's with me?"

"what!?" she winced under her breath, dropping into a deeper confusion.

"What's that rumbling in the background Angel?" Claire asked

Angel looked up at the horizon on her knees as a monolithic wave of water towered over her. Inside she was mortified, but her visage showed serenity. She let the tsunami rush her feeling the cool force seize her body completely. She floated away with the wave, feeling a connection to the thousands and thousands of leagues of marine fauna inhabiting the ocean, the unknown included. An orange, torrential and fiery light burst before her before she lost complete consciousness....

"Heralds...hear me. Let your sins cleanse these lands." She called out reaching out to the other carriers via the telepathic link they all shared with one another. She could feel the chaos moving across the Earth, Sloth, Gluttony, Greed; Wrath was on the way followed by Lust--All things Human and Mutants used to subject themselves to an outdated archaic method of living.

These "sins" have stood the test of time, because the people of Earth used them as a way to hold each other back. It was the reason Maya was the best Candidate, The young teenager's ability to manipulate reality would prove beneficial in the long run.

As the Universal Plates remained in Orbit around her body, Maya's attention turned toward a triplicated man, as far as she was concerned he was the first to make a stand. Her Dark Brown Iris soon burned with hellish flames as one of his rounds went sailing through her shoulder, but just as soon as she was hit two more hit her body, causing the Cosmic Sorceress to stumble. "Fools.." A light whisper left her mouth before her wound begin to heal. Hoping her realized she wanted them to get this close.

It was in that moment she felt another--Thee Champion her brother Leonel Pettis. "I had a feeling you'd join me here." Maya's mouth never opened, it was a whisper that came to be with the blowing of the fiery cosmic winds. His energy force heralded his arrival slamming into a thin crimson field that manifest fast enough to protect her. The collision of forces sent a cataclysmic tremor surging through the ground, but as the debris begin to settle the Maya's fiery glance parted the dust. Her location changed, the sheer force from Leonel attack knocked her several miles away from where she once stood.

Her negation shield wasn't a sure thing, but with the ability to alter probability She could pretty much ensure that it'd work 100% of the time--Only if she didn't know she was being attacked.

"You've gotten stronger" Thrusting her hands downward, The Universal Plates that were once surrounding her, now hit the ground circling both Agent Snow and Leonel. The 5'11 former model entered the circle ready to combat the both of them, but like on Apokolips she was biding her time, Maya wasn't a physical combatant the negative energy being absorbed by the other heralds was being absorbed by a lone plate resting in the sky; once that plate was operation this universe would share the same fate as the ones surrounding them--Dead.

Pushing forward the Power Princess left an ant trail, throwing both her hands forward Maya release two distinct energy based attacks. The first was toward The Triplicated man, she sought to use her energy to gain control of one of the dupes in an attempt to force in fighting between the three of them.

Leonels was a different type of blast, though it was still meant to injure him, It was also meant to read how much more stronger he became sense their last meeting. The Red Princess had sinister plans if what she suspected about Leonel were ineed true.

Teleporting inbetween Leonel and one of Snow's Dupe's Maya crafted a explosive force field with the intent on dealing quick damage, but also to blow a hole in the Earth beneath her for reasons to be revealed later.

@agent_snow: @azure_son: @maya_liafador: @pandorika:

The TARDIS had finally arrived in Australia. He was near Maya’s position, but was several miles away in the sky. Using several alien codes to hack into multiple satellites, he saw that there were five people possessed by the Phoenix Force, its energy signature unique. He also detected a sixth yet unknown energy signature, which had turned out to be Maya. He had also noticed there were huge amount of telepathic activity, thanks to his multiple scans. People were...relaxing? That was all he can tell. He also saw the skirmish between Leon and Maya.

Crap. She’s more powerful than I thought.

“Umm. Pandorika. Stay here. I’ll deal with Maya,” He then gulped, and prepared himself. He pulled one lever that would raise the shields of the TARDIS to maximum. He landed the TARDIS near Maya, and walked out.

“Oi! A bloody mess you made. Ya, you, Maya! What the bloody h*ll are you doing?! I mean, I know I have some personality problems, but, boy, I don’t try destroying the whole Earth.”

Striding about within the confines of his force-field, he had an evident smirk, and a look of disappointment on his face.

“Sooo, this is all you can do? Summon a bunch of rocks. I have to say I’m not impressed.”

It was true. He wasn't impressed. He was worried. Worried about the fact that this was certainly not good. He had faced several threats, but not one like this.

“Oh, but where are my manners. Hello. Salutations,” He then brushed his hair with his hand, which slightly hanged near his forehead,, as he talked, a sign of nervousness, “I’m The Professor.”

Then, a look of seriousness descended upon him, he then faced her, his striding ceased. He then whipped out his Sonic, and began scanning her, a slight buzzing emanating from his long, slender, bronze rod that had a small blue crystal on its tip. He was scanning what type of energy signature was flowing through her or what had possessed her. He knew of certain aliens and beings that could control their hosts while giving them extra energy based abilities.

“And by the decrees of Xenon, I order you to cease your actions NOW! I am 2,400 years old, I’m a Xenonion, and I am the bringer of the light and darkness. I will be the worst enemy you will ever have if you don’t cease what you are doing right now!”

That probably sounded better in my head.

He had just warned her. Now, he had to ready a plan in case she doesn’t stop. His alien mind racing several plans. He didn’t want her or anyone else to get hurt.

“If you hunger for energy or something, maybe I can help you out. Just stop.”

@the_professor__: @maya_liafador:

The clones could not be mind controlled individually. They would have to be controlled all at once to manipulate any one of them. The conveniences of his ability were excellent for countering telepaths and psychics of any sort.

However, they were not invulnerable to physical attacks even if they were enhanced. The explosive blast threw all three of them backwards into the rocks one of them gashing part of his skull blurring his vision. Focusing back on the woman they all three attacked with perfect synchrony. One leaping to kick her with inhuman speed, another sweeping a leg at her knees and the third (the injured one, now squinting to see) running to the opposite side to leap for her and attempt to litterally squeeze the life out of her if she managed to escape the other two.

Unlike many heroes the clones were disposable. Merely dead pieces of a cow reformed to create the cold hearted body of Agent Snow. That was one of the reasons why they had no reason to attempt highly defensive maneuvers, they had no reason to do anything but protect.

"Leather. Why does it have to be leather...?"Thomas asks himself, looking up and down inverted naked flaming soul. No pain, no sensation at all. But for some reason every time he changed he was in a leather jacket and black pants. The Demon's idea of a uniform for a Duke of Hell "Demon...you're a glorified dominatrix with a fetish. Dominato...? Dominatus? Hm...What's the male equivalent?"

"A Master, man." A man asks sitting in a chair outside a Starflux, his coffee fallen over spilling on his lap, burning on his groin but yet he doesn't even flinch. He's in pain. Thomas can see it in his eyes. He just doesn't care.

It was like looking in a mirror, if not for the sloven demeanor, "Lined myself up for that one didn't I?" He says through a lipless mouth, voice like bone rubbing across hot coals holding a flaming chain in his fist and dragging it across the road, clinking as he steps onto the sidewalk and approaches. "Why aren't you running."

"I dunno. Don't feel like it. Can you...stop talking to me...takes too much...effort."

"Look into my eyes...Show me your soul."Thomas grabs him by his polo collar and pulls off his ray bans, piercing the veil of his physical and staring into the virgin light of his soul that hasn't peered outward since it's creation. It's tainted, like oil in milk. Darkness swirling in a once clear stew of humanity, "Jonathan Longfellow...You made a living trafficking child pornography on the under web. There's a special place for you in a Hell."

"Yeah man...I get that alot...get...in line...heh." He says pulling his raybans back up his long pointed prosthetic nose. This wasn't right. He should be paralyzed with the regret of his own actions, begging for his life and redemption. But he simply...doesn't. Letting go Thomas looks up and realizes he's in a sea of sloths. People bent over and listless, cars slammed together, people laying on the side walk staring up at the sun with their raw eyes roasted dry.

"Hn. Why do I see this and the first name in my mind is-"

"Lucifer...?" The slow moving plastic faced man asks, his tongue getting heavier with each word

"Liafador."Walking off Thomas' mind starts reeling with curiosity. It was good to be back, it was good to be...surprised.

"See you in Hell, man."

He stops, his neck twitching, his fist tightening on his chain, "Almost forgot."

@tassania_pettis:

Agiad'coda

A silence filled the room, hanging in the air with the prominence of a force of nature. They couldn't believe it. Not his father, Andres, nor his twin sister, Luciana. They couldn't believe it, and neither could he. And on the many chairs and sofas covered in red velvet, none of them sat. At a moment this severe all they could do was stand. Stand watch as their eyes seemed glued to the wide screen of their living room's television. Try as he might, Kaylen couldn't pry his eyes from the television screen, he couldn't simply dart his gaze towards the nearest painting from the Italian Renaissance and admire the use of the sfumato painting technique. He couldn't because like his father and sister, Kaylen was in shock, his emerald eyes like theirs were widened, and his mouth was gaping.

Fed by the live footage captured from news helicopters and the like, the television flashed image after image of Maya Liafador expelling energies that claimed the world and perverted it's people. And worst of all, for the Knightfall Wunderkind, it seemed that his childhood sweetheart, his girlfriend; Tassiana, had joined her sister. In that moment, Kaylen couldn't help but feel his skin grow warm but the sweat run cold down the side of his face. "Kay.. she's corrupted..", Luciana pointed out, her sweet features wearing their shared feeling of dread so well, her liquid violet eyes searching desperately for any response from her brother. But like his father, Kaylen said nothing. Whereas Andres stood earnest, a quiet intensity oozing from his every pore, the Knightfall Wunderkind seemed possessed by his shock. Finally he reacted, dropping down to sit on the chair behind him. He was speechless.

No Caption Provided

He cast his gaze to the ground, staring quietly at the tiled floor until pulled into Luciana's comforting embrace. Her arms wrapped round him and held him close, "Kaylen", she called out to him, finally drawing his gaze, "This isn't the end. The Phoenix Force has been here before", Luciana reminded, drawing their father's attention now. "I'm going to go help her, I'm going to stop this", Kaylen boldly declared, popping up from his seat and breaking from his sister's embrace. "Wait", Andres began, his arm barricading the door, "I will not allow this, hijo (son). For you to go unprepared", he continued, "The Phoenix Force, it is using both Maya and Tassi as catalysts to spread the energy it uses to corrupt people. Energy that you are not prepared to resist".

"Stay here, hijo (son)", Andres instructed, striding from the living room and into his study. And while Kaylen and Luciana shared an earnest and confused stare, their father returned, tossing the Catalan Cobra a ring. "Wear that. One of the few people I believe would be able to resist these events is Tassi's padre (father), Alexis. And that is because of his power to absorb and store energy in a personal quantum dimensional state. That ring replicates that power. It will allow you to resist the corrupting energy... for a while. Maybe it will be long enough for you to do what you can", the father of many paused, "Be careful".

Sicily, Italy

Soaring from the coast of Agiad'coda, the Catalan Cobra glided across the open sky, channeling his power of typhokinesis and taking the form of fiery smoke. A black stream with flaming bits at the tail, Kaylen sped through the sky, crossing the sea as fast as his powers allowed him to. And in every waking moment his mind thought of Tassiana, the young woman he adored and loved... loved... now, only now that the very core of her being was being usurped did he fully understand the depth of what he felt for her. Sicily, it was what the news footage had shown as the city Tassiana threatened to consume with her power. And it was Sicily that Kaylen soon arrived in, his typhokinetic form yielding as he landed, the soles of his boots thudding against a building rooftop.

No Caption Provided

Below him, Kaylen noticed them, the citizens who so openly embraced the primal urge to eat and consume. And almost immediately, as he watched men and women sink their teeth into the flesh of others and snarl hungrily as they feasted on one another, Kaylen felt it.. the sting of the Phoenix's corrupting energy doing it's damnest to enter his mind and body. It was a painful sensation that saw him wince and clutch the side of his head, "Ay Dios mio (Oh my God)... this is really bad..", he murmured, his low voice echoing with the faintest notes of his Spanish inflection. He wondered, what could he do? Above all things, Kaylen was a martial artist. A highly gifted one, a master and a technician whose fighting system of dauntless pressure, Muay Thai and defensive counter-grappling has once seen him best Tassiana's own mother; The Goddess, Ziccarra Liafador.

But that was where it ended. He possessed his father's ingenuity and his mother's killer instinct but he was simply that; a martial artist. What hope did he have against the Phoenix Force? What chance did he stand against his girlfriend? A New Goddess and Cardinal Goddess in one? And yet... Kaylen hardly lost any hope. A free spirit who had always refused the roles that life had tried to force him to play, Kaylen defied the norm. He fashioned his own path and did things with the natural charm and instinctive spontaneity that many abandon with their childhood. He was a dreamer. A young man who embodied the golden paradise that is childhood, he embodied it's heart; the bold and adventurous will to simply believe. To believe that this and that is possible. And as he darted from rooftop to rooftop and took on the form of smoke once more, he sought out the person he believed he could save.

And he found her at an eradicated vineyard. The leaves were scorched and the ground beneath her had caved in from the sheer pressure of her power. The energy that wisped all about her was violent, causing heat and cool air to clash and spiral violently like a tornado. It was like confronting Mother Nature herself as he took on his physical form and landed on the scorched earth with a thud. She hovered several feet from him, her eyes and body glowing with the power that was corrupting her. And to see her like this was heartbreaking. With each step he shook his head at the sight of her, his world losing it's color and fading to grey as his heart, stabbed and shredded, sank into the pit of his stomach. A lump in his throat and his features wearing every emotion known to man, he called out to her.

"TASSI!".

"Hehehe, I admire your theatrical irony, Orpheus," Christopher smirked as Leonardo laughed, clasping his gloved hands together as lightning crackled about his yellow clad physique. The two of them adopted slightly hunched over positions, hands lowered towards the sand as though they were preparing to race.

"Loser buys lunch after this," Leon remarked, grinning.

"You prat, I'd be buying lunch regardless; you have no money!" Chris replied, shaking his head.

A rush of wind, a violent streak of red, and Leon tore his way off the beach, whilst Volo first attempted to take Orpheus by the shoulder to bring him along before zipping after his murderous associate. The trio would speed past the beautiful sights and majestic villas, ripping the sound barrier asunder as they neared the cosmic beacon of gluttony and greed, of nightmarish overindulgence and cannibalism fueled by insatiable desire for food, for more.

The ungodly pull of the phoenix grew stronger as they drew nearer to the vineyard, like a force grinding at their wills in hopes of incinerating it. Chris could feel his heartbeat quicken with every step, and not because of the speed force. Beside him, Leon felt the same. Both of their eyes were narrowed in concentration, their willpower clashing against the pressure that sought to drown them like an invisible tidal wave.

And both of them stopped at exactly the same time, not even a second having passed since they stood upon the beach. Leonardo clutched his stomach, looking pale as though about to throw up. Volo ran a hand over his cowl, grimacing as his head pounded harder than ever before.

He saw her, they both did; hovering several dozen meters away from them, situated within a furious vortex of her own power, her presence heating the air and wind, razing the ground beneath her, reducing the beauty of the vineyard to cinders in her state of immoral godhood.

And then they saw him, whom Leon knew as Kaylen, standing close to his beloved, stricken with immeasurable turmoil that Leonardo once would've shared... when his heart still beat to that particular rhythm. <Has he lost his mind?!>, Leon wondered, but he knew how love so pure twisted one's logic. And he pitied Kaylen in that moment; that emotion wasn't yet lost on him.

"Hold on!" Leonardo hissed to Chris and Orpheus, crouching as to avoid eminent detection and hurriedly beckoning them to do the same. "Let's see how this plays out. May as well let Kaylen have this last little moment with her, right?"

Chris and Leon briefly shared a glance. And then the speedster understood.

"Ohhhh... I see. You little devil you." Crouching down as well, Chris asked Orpheus, "Feel like waiting a little bit longer, Orph? Our friend Leon here's just concocted a little scheme I think. We'll need to let Kaylen do his thing first. We can't attack until hes done playing the hero."

The Phoenix force empowered Red Mask was nearly unhindered in attacking all of the lesser heroes he came across. He had yet to run into one that was truly a threat. At this point he was understanding the true powers he was capable of. All his abilities had been increased as well as being granted the forms of energy generation and flight that he had gained. And all abilities included the one in which he seemed to be able to survive the impossible.

Around the city of New York he went attacking every hero he could find. "You have no idea what you have that I only have distant memories of, heroes. The turmoil in even the worst of your minds is nothing compared to what I have. I envy your innocence. I envy your peace. Now I'm going to strip as many of your from this world as I can." He moved with the skill of a master but the ferocity of an angry beast. Eventually he went and began cutting off the support of buildings causing them to topple. Even if he lost the pheonix force he could claim it had driven him insane, and in a sense it sort of had done that. So he could rampage without major repercussions. Even death would hardly stop him now. The pheonix force had granted him something he'd been needing for some time now. Power.

(OOC: I feel like I did not do very well on this. Sorry. Just knew I had to post again.)

En Route to the Liafador Winery

No Caption Provided

Being the sister of the most powerful woman in the family came with perks...for one The White Cardinals took extra precautions to prevent anything from happening to Chance. But the highly skilled assassins weren't trained enough to cheer Chance up. The Green Eyed Liafador met her older sister over two years ago, and she'd lost so much in doing so. Returning to school was out of the question, at least for now. Her mother had been killed as a result of a 3rd Society attack on her home, she spent time as a Society slave before spending the rest of the year stuck on Apokolips with Maya. This was the first time, the first time she came to terms with what had transpired on that fateful day just a few years ago—She gave up her entire life to meet a sister she never knew she had, and everyone from her old life was gone.

Though there were Cardinals flanked to both her right and left, She shed endless tears in the darkness of night. Tears that continuously proliferate thanks largely to the hidden thoughts she shelved for the majority of her capture. Chance’s lips knew no courage, as much it pained her to think about the fate of her Mother and Grandmother she wouldn’t speak about it; rather she saw fit to allow herself to suffer in silence.

As the local setting shift from rural to urban, she gradually wiped the tears from her eyes; the young teen was so wrapped up in her own emotions, she didn’t feel the Earth shake; rather her eyes rose from the floor once she realized the vehicle had come to a halt.

“W-why are we stopping?” Her voice was hoarse, like someone who had been screaming all day, but from the front of the limo, she received no response.

“G-guys…what’s going on?” She called out again, this time lowering the partition in the luxury sedan. “Don’t feel like driving anymore” The driver replied sitting with his chin resting in his palms.

The Cardinal in the passenger seat appeared to be rather fidgety, grabbing every thing within hands reach. Before Chance could begin pounding on the walls two bullets ripped through the windows finding comfort in the heads of both unsuspecting Cardinals.

On instinct, the green-eyed Liafador pulled back before screaming at the top of her lungs. She moved frantically, trying to unlock the doors in an attempt for an escape; but in the end they were opened for her. Stubbling to make it back to a proper sitting base, Chance's eyes rest on a man; he had a cold stare , one that reek of bad intentions. "I won't tell you where Zeon is?" She asked shying away to the fartest part of the back seat.

No Caption Provided

He released a subtle sigh before wiping his rapier, she presumed he'd manage to kill someone before arriving here. "Oh, I know where Zeon is. I'm her father. Just like I'm your father too Chance. You need to come with me."

"Goddess"

The Goddess was able to subdue a portion of the ravenous people surrounding her, but her heroic efforts were in vain; more and more people were tearing through downtown L.A shifting back and forth between various human vices (Gluttony, Greed, Envy and Sloth)

Her head shook left to right in a successful effort to keep the effects of the powerful external forces from affecting her own mind. The allure of the Phoenix was calling, giving in to it's intoxicating psionic beacon would prove to be catastrophic for Ziccarra, she had to save her children. Flying through L.A, she noticed something that could be of use people affected by different sins still warred with each other. "Interesting..." She murmured mid-flight. All these people were poessessed by the same force, which means the people causing them could be turned against each other too, but how. @azure_son "Leonel darling tis mom, fighting them might make them stronger. Maya's energy signature is getting stronger. I can feel it from L.A but get this, the sins of the Phoenix are fighting one another, there may be a way we can get the heralds to fight one another." She sent out via a static filled telepathic message. "There may be one way to end this...but we will all have to come together" She continued, thinking about an ancient ritual passed down in Tibet from the Bai people. Impractical to the average person, but to people like Ziccarra--A psion it wasn't.

The Thought Bomb, a powerful technique that would take the efforts of the world's most powerful beings. There were tons of potentially fatal outcomes, but with proper planning they could turnback the Phoenix and possibly even save Maya.

Tassi was surging through Itatly, along with the increasing signature of the unknown Essence, Maya was positioned in Australia; but there was also another unaccounted for in New York.@jason_ford

The Former Liafador Family Matriarch prepared to teleport, that's when she saw the demonic chain bearing demonic skull rider. "Goddess..." her whisper was lost in the chains impact on the ground.

"NOW IS NOT THE TIME!" Her voice boomed through the grisly frigid L.A air, Fixing her Raxius Shield in front Ziccarra lunge at the Flaming Specter from nearly a half-block away. Landing in rolling fashion she sprang on her powerful dancer legs into the air bringing her fist down as if she were going to punch him; at the last moment the Goddess Teleported toward the rear attempting to hoist the demon with her divine strength and slam him into the dilapidated streets.

@maya_liafador: @ziccarra_liafador: @_animus_:

There were not enough heroes here for him to do anything. And he'd felt somethig more importantly. Something he was certain he was only capable of feeling by the pheonix force that hastened him to move to L.A. Instead of wasting time here. Whatever it may be he followed it, no big reason not to.

He rose into the air blasting away the swords of energy made by the pheonix force still in hand as he shot away. It was only due to what he was wearing and that it increased his survivability that he was capable of reaching speeds high enough to get there within several minutes. His mask was really what allowed him to still see during his extremely fast flight path to L.A. It would just be a matter of time before they could see him jetting through the sky pheonix force made swords in hands and ready to analyze and try and take down every superhero he could come across. However he wouldn't be too hasty, that would simply be foolish.

Lussuria [LUST] Porto Pino, Italy

Feeling. It was the only sense that reminded her she was alive. Feeling the exfoliation of Porto Pino pink sand brushing her bare skin. The coolness of the ocean's water sheening her waned body. The crash of the wave had her bones sore and she lie their motionless. Her body rose and fell, breathing in and out. It was all she could do with the exception of think. Gravity would not allow her body to leave that sand.

"Angel oh my god....your hair? Are you okay?" Claire came to her aid, cradling her drained body in her lap. "What happened?"

The singers mouth moved to speak and her mezzo soprano voice cracked with nothing to show for it. She lost consciousness....

Angel woke up three hours later in her Graydein Estate bed restored completely. It was the best rest she had since she was a child running around morning, day and night. Then she thought of the nightmare she had crept into her psyche. She rose up and shook the night terror off. She stepped off into her bathroom.

"AAAAAIEEEEEE!" Angel screamed gazing at the bleach blonde hair cascading her cordovan complexion. "My haiirrr...what...happened to me???"

Her temper took over her shook swiftly. "Somebody's screwing with me..." she said walking for her duffel bag of magic.

She pulled out two crystal skulls, a sheer black cloth, two eggs and a bottle of blood. She layed out the black cloth and sat placing the two crystal skulls before her. She poured the blood on her hands started smacking the skulls with the palm of her hands. "Si ca ne me convient pas, il ne vient pas a moi!" (If it doesn't suit me, it doesn't come to me). She passed a brown egg over her body and cracked the other one over the bloody skulls head.

A pervading spirit was summoned and she felt it's eyes on her. It was somewhere in the room. It's energy was overwhelming. "Si ca ne me convient pas, il ne vient pas a moi!" she repeated the affirmation again passing the brown egg over her one more time before smashing it on the second skull.

"Claire, I'm going to see Julius."

A sharp pain exploded in her chest and she shrieked, letting the pupils of her eyes roll to the back of her skull. An invisible force pushed her body on her back and she blacked out. For only a second. She sat up breathing heavily, an unfamiliar energy crackling within her wholly.

A knock at her door, snapped her back to a normal stream of consciousness. "ANGEL! It's me. Are you okay!" Claire screamed shaking the locked door.

Without a word, Angel cleaned up her work alter placing the skulls stylistically on her dresser and the cloth and blood back into the duffel. She hefted the bag into her closet then crossed the room to open her door. "I'm fine." she said pawing the glass of Liafador wine Claire poured for herself. She walked to her open balcony and let the tropical breeze vitalize her.

Aroused she thought of the British rapper Julius Basquait, she lost her phone in the tsunami, but she knew where to find him through divination. She walked to her drawer and placed his rose gold jesus piece around her neck.

"Julius?" Claire laughed. "You guys broke up, he's engaged to Amelie Saccino. Remember?"

"He's mine." she snapped, looking at her alien reflection in the mirror. She combed her clorox white hair over her shoulder. She liked the look, it was a perfect shade that looked oddly natural. She smugly faced Claire, modeling black lace lingerie. They exchanged silence before Claire realized Angel was serious."What happened to you out there, Angel?"

Dust and chunks of concrete swirled around him, clashing like the hot and cool air that stormed all about him. Their battlefield, the city of Perth, was giving way. Where the Prince of Power hovered, his cape fluttered, and his aura scorched and tore the ground asunder and sky asunder. Hands balled into fists, his muscles swelling larger still, Leonel's eyes glowed redder and his gaze never broke from Maya's. And the shattered universes Maya held in plates, caved in the burnt ground surrounding them. Of the first of Maya's torrent of energy, the Prince of Power paid no mind. It targeted another. It was not his burden. His cells twitching and brought to the limit of their energy-storing qualities, they'd prove unable to absorb Maya's blast, they'd absorbed what they could of the Phoenix Force.

More would see Leonel's body contort and grow perverse, overflown with an energy he'd yet to master. Instead, the Prince of Power's warrior instincts came alive and as his feet touched the ground, the concrete pavement cracking and bending under the sheer weight of his power, he hopped off his front foot and onto his rear foot, darting like a flash of lightning, his body scorching the air, a streak of glowing red trailing him as he pivoted to the side, angling away from his sister's blast. Barely. The heat of her blast, sizzling and cruel, had stripped his battlesuit of the layers that shielded his shoulder and arm, burning bits of his flesh as he gritted his teeth and cringed from the pain. Still, the moment he'd circled away from the blast, he countered, thrusting his palm forward and seizing Maya's brief area of exposure from his angle with a blast of his own.

A torrent of his own; lightning. Hotter than the surface of the sun, and storming through the air as it's loud and sharp crack echoed for all too hear, streaks of lightning flashed, blinding those unable to witness bits of the sun brought to Earth for that brief moment. Surging from Leonel's fingertips, the torrent of lightning threatened to consume, electrocute, and burn the Phoenix from Maya's body. Oh but soon a hole had blown in the Earth and the Posthuman God was flung meters across, his features bruised and battered from an explosion cast by the Cardinal Princess. Wounded but uninjured, the Prince of Power burst into the air, careful so as not to bring the entire city.. the entire planet and the planets nearby to their knees with his power.

His breathing heavy, his chest heaving as his mother's words began to echo in his mind, Leonel listened. "How do we do that? Wait.. I'll be there", his thoughts sent to his mother, Leonel's gaze met Maya's. With new arrivals here to confront her, he need not worry about her being left uncontested. In the sky, Leonel blasted off, blitzing his way over the oceans that separated him and his mother until he'd landed in the City of Angels.

@zeon_liafador

A flash of a horde runs through the temporal lobes of her brain. Blue and purple sparks flicker from her fingertips as vivid images of people lighting torches materialize themselves in her mind. This vibrant memory feels as if it is expelling itself into reality as orange and red streams of energy are pouring itself from the skies above. With one fatal jump the Liafador from another earth descends below feeling the icy wind dance around her skin.

Staring at her reflection through the thousands of windows it transforms itself to resemble someone she knows from her old earth. Her mother, Sabella. As the panels of the glass building race so does the illusion expelling itself into her line of vision. In second intervals the faces of Z, Jessica, Champ, Leo, and Chance are some of the few she remembers from her past world. All of the souls she left behind, to save herself from be chosen by the powers of death. The face of her niece, Zeon brings a dark presence as if she could feel her close by. Looking below to the streets, hundreds of mindless individuals are unaware of her being brought down by the forces of gravity. Glimmers of particles rip open a circle between her and the ground. The tear in the fabric of space has an image of her relative swaying her blades through the air in the midst of disarray.

Stepping through the portal, gravity itself shifts and she ends up landing on her back instead of feet. In the vast area around her there is a multitude of priests in an unorganized frenzy as they are attacking those around. Standing not to far from her is a familiar face, Zeon, as she is tapping in her darkforce abilities; frozen, Xiomaera’s eyes range from her niece to follow the form of one of the priest fixated on their target.

Extending a long blade they aim to attack her from behind as her focus is locked onto Vini. Placing her left hand forward, Xio transfers her attention to the space between Zeon and her about to be killer. Blue and purple sparks extract themselves into reality, swarming into a circle as a hole in the fabric of space appears. As the assailant extends his arm into the portal, Xiomaera’s hands glide to the right to make the portal disintegrate before the Priest could remove his arm. His shriek of pain should alert Zeon so she could finish the opponent off.

Xio slides over in a herioc af pose as her curly strands of brown hair fall onto her face. “Family has to stick together, huh?” Xiomaera extends her right hand offering solace. “I’m from Reality M, and I could sense dimensional residue unleashing itself from your location; though you are not MY Zeon.” The freelance Liafador was unsure of what making a temporary pact would mean, but she did know that it was time for her to stop sitting on the sidelines and let herself known to this earth’s family.

Surrounded they felt the eyes of the priests ready to roast them. “Tell me where, and I’ll teleport you as you wish.” Grasping onto the wrist of her deadly relative, she shuts her eyes as her free hand begins to spark. Fluorescent waves fuse into a portal of static. “Focus on where and it’ll appear, and we'll jump together.” An image slowly forms of a location that Xio does not expect.

"Hn?" He could hear the whistle in the air. Pointed objects slicing through the sky and hissing like a plane rutter. He turns just in time to see Ziccarra Liafador flying towards him in a post worthy of another vogue cover. "I knew it." He whips his chain back and it stiffens, then yanks it forward to grasp her neck and twist the flesh from her bones. But the tip pops against air and drops to the ground. He didn't know she could do that. Had he been gone that lon-

Before he knew it Animus' feet gave way beneath him, pressure on his waist from a tight belt of moisturized arms were there before he had time to react. His back goes into the pavement with so much force a burst of flames escapes his mouth, the wind knocked out of his unsuspecting body. He lays there, hinges of his jaw wide opened. "That's the first time I've been surprised, in a long time." He sits up, his lower back pushing his abdomen and then his upper back, then his neck jerking forward as though he had a magnetic draw to staying standing. Pushing off the ground he wipes his shoulders of dusted granite. "Thank you." He calls his chain inward with a flick of his wrist, wrapping it around both forearms until it was taught in the center, "What do you think this will end with Mrs.Liafador? Will you take me to prison?" He extends his arms that looked as though they were cuffed and tilts his eyeless head, "Do you even know what prison is? I do...I've been there for hundreds of years." Snapping the chains his arms rage with a green fire, melting the metal links that connected the arms as the bindings on his arm melt into uniform metal gauntlets, "Deep Southern standard time. I'm not going back. You should have kept going and never looked down, I'm just a looter in a riot. You should have went to find the show runner. That's a mistake you'll live just long enough to regret. Now, " Stepping back he flings his fingers like a showman magician getting ready to cast a spell " watch my hands closely." He says. No lips on his face, but you could hear his smile. "keep an eye on them...Watch closely. Will He swing with his left," He looks down at his left encased fist "or his right?" He looks down at his smouldering right.

Her brother's energy personifed the rage resting within the pectoral's of the Prince of Power, Leonel attacked the Phoenix with everything he had; It showed as the Cosmic Cardinal Princess skipped across the perimeter until her body came to a rolling stop just on the insides of one of her universal plates. Steam sizzled off her tattered crimson cowl, but as the conflict across the globe continued the Princess of Power would soon be "Queened" Levitating back to a vertical base, Maya wince in pain; her brother's ability to use the cosmic forces were proving to be problematic--moreso now because with each passing second someone new entered the fray.

Offset to the battle a small red public box appeared and from it a man. He seemed to know exactly who she was; though the familarity was not returned. As the winds brush against her tattered cowl, the words of the newly aquainted professor held no merit; until of course he brandished a small rod, similar to a wand. He stood about 5'7, with brown hair and greenish grey eyes. He was not from Earth, it was apparent in his method of travels; and something she eventually found out through word of mouth. For a moment, only a moment, This Professor maintained the full attention of the 5'11 Phoenix bearing Liafador offspring, but the other opposer quicky brought the fight back out of her.

As she held her side in apparent pain, one of the three triplicated foes sent her reeling backwards with a kick fast enough to rival a flash step; almost in perfect sync with each other the second swept her legs out from under her causing the Cosmic Sorceress to stumble backwards into a back roll, to which she landed in a squated position.

"Hnnh..." Maya grimace as her eyes caught both the telepathic exchange between her mother and brother, prompting Leonel to exit the battlefield in favor of some sort of strategy to bring her down. The thought behind it was interesting, but it didn't seem practical at all to the Cosmic Reality Warper. As pain begin to push through her stomach, Maya's eyes focus back on the tasks at hand--Agent Snow and The Professor. Levitating from her down position the Red Cardinal Princess rose high above her two attackers speaking for the first time in almost 30 minutes. "Hell is coming" From the massive crater she created before hundreds of Maya's Apokolips beast took to the sky, their wings fluttering fast enough to be confused as helicopter blades. On Maya's mental command the damned of Apokolips swarmed her attackers, providing her with the oppertunity to decended into the massive crater below.

Once at the bottom of the almost endless crater, thick energy tendrils begin to feed into the bottomless pit from the inpregable universe plates. From the bottom a massive azure aura filled the Australian skies fitting Maya with enough energy to bring an entire solar system to it's knees. Using both Maya's reality powers in conjunction with the powers of the all mighty Phoenix she stood as one of the most powerful entities on Earth. Probably more powerful than her cosmic brother. But he left, she needed him back here. In order to complete the rest of her plan the Phoenix needed Leonel here in the epicenter.

Bad move. He thought as the beasts came after his clones. Immediately the clones did two things, formed back to back to defend with absolute synchrony. Then they preformed their greatest advantage in close combat, cloning. Each time the beasts got into range one would grab hold of them forcing a grey goo over them that would rearrange its very physiology and make another clone identical to the others while the remaining defended him. Even as he was forcefully using their meat to make more of him this woman had somehow gained massive amounts of power far surpassing what he could do with his clones. This was a problem. And the swarm of beasts, although giving him clones, would still take all his time to protect against unless he managed to get them all. They tried shooting them down with nth bullets and then use the meat (I don't know if that part will work because I don't know their durability) but kept up trying to do it to the ones that simply got close to them. Then they preformed another trick. One of them began creating multiple holograms of agent snow until they seemed to be all over the place in the battle.

Nevertheless. This was turning against him. All he could do was be a bunch of foot soldiers compared to this woman and he doubted he could take control of her as fast as she could just kill each clone that tried. This was a difficult conundrum indeed.

@maya_liafador: @agent_snow:

“Oh, this is not good,” The Professor said as he saw the creatures from Apokolips rising through the massive crater that possibly lead to the inside of the Earth. The very center of it, possibly. He wasn’t sure since he didn’t have time to calculate how deep it was. He had to stop her, but how?

Well, that isn’t my biggest priority. Those things are.

Running, and then diving into his TARDIS, while using his Sonic-tool to close the door. He then dashed about the consoles, he had to follow her and find out what she was doing. Pulling a few levers, turning a few dials and node, and finally pressing a big red button.

I rather do love buttons. Heh.

The shields on the TARDIS were the only thing keeping those creatures from rearing him apart. The TARDIS jerked, and flew up into the air, the shields smacking the flying monsters away. He then decided to think on the problem, and figure out what he was dealing with. He loved solving problems. Re-scanning everyone again, and different countries that were affected, he saw a pattern. The energy signatures with the Phoenix Force were affecting the general population and causing them to sin differently.

The seven deadly sins. Geez.

How was he not affected? Well, he was an alien, so there’s that. He has incredible intelligence and wisdom, and his brain functions differently. It also helped that the TARDIS had its own telepathic field. Anyway, he had to contain this energy, but how? Containers able to contain this type of cosmic energy were rare or hard to get since it required a lot money to buy it, and he wasn’t willing to steal…..yet.

Maybe, Earth’s timeline has something.

He began sifting through the data, trying to find anything to get an advantage. He searched for boxes, containers, that could have been alien, mystical, or whatever in origin. He was getting desperate. Then, he thought of myths that had a similar problem that was solved, since myths could give him a clue. Myths weren’t always just myths. Then, he had another idea. Hacking into his TARDIS’s that could be used for translating languages. Now, he was trying to access her psychic network from when she first shown herself.

Running down the stairs, and grabbing an armful of materials, he laid them out and started building a device that would be able to scan those and read them at any point in time up to a few days. When it was completed in minutes with the help of his Sonic-tool, he then tried to access Maya’s thoughts from earlier, trying to see if he could find a clue. He wasn’t sure whether it would work or not since she was basically in God mode, but he had to try. He activated the device, and attempted to read her mind from earlier, to see her exact thoughts.

The concrete folded, the strength of the Goddess combined with the demon's natrual body mass produced massive splinters on the road where his hellish body landed. Taking a warriors stance with her sword and shield both ready to combat the demon from the depths.

He rose, the noise from his massive chain dwarfing the sounds of the helpless civilians screaming in their local setting. Small embers cackle from his ignited skull, It was truly a hellish site; despite not coming into contact with this sort of being before it seemed to know her. Whatever it was, it knew of her; and it didn't sound as if it was because of her reputation. "I do not believe there is a prison that can hold a demon of your nature. But I do know a wall that can" she replied reffering to the fabled source wall. Slightly irritated Ziccarra propelled herself forward only to be halted by her own curiosity. "I did not think demons played games" She said, hoisting her blade, but the moment she did from his head spew lava. With reflexes that could easily rival a flicker Ziccarra's Raxius shield protected her from what was sure to be a fatal blow. From the close proximinity impact, Ziccarra's body bounce backwards hitting the ground hard; momentum pulled her back over into a crouched position, leaving dent in the cement much like his.

"Fancy" She whispered with a wince. Had she'd been able to scout that attack, she might've been fast enough to manuver around, instead she had to use her shield opening herself up to damage. As her spine and lower back begin to whine in agony, she could hear him moving a sophisticated booms through the atmosphere. Leonel, he was coming. But just as she felt him, she could also feel the energy surge increase with Maya.

@jason_ford With just a glance she caught the sight of another moving through the skies; his signature matched Maya's he was in-tune with the phoenix; which meant her situation went from bad to worse in a matter of minutes. "No more games" Pushing off her legs, The Cardinal Goddess of illusion spinted in the demon's direction, she had to deal with him in order to turn her attention to the impending arrival of the Phoenix Herald.

Once again launching herself into the air, Ziccarra dispatched her conquistador bullwhip in an attempt to snag his left arm. If successful she'd then launch herself to the right to pull the demon's body off balance, Once the left side of his body jerked right, she'd send an explosive psionic trail through the whip in an attempt to incapacitate him.

As Red Mask began closing in he saw better what was going on. He squinted at Zicarra from behind his helmet, "Hero." He whispered loathsomely. He blasted towards her faster swinging his energy swords and sending blasts of the energy towards her with extreme ferocity. He aimed especially at he head, neck, arms, and legs, because of how much harder they were to defend.

I do not like to admit it. But even now I envy you, despite being the fool you are you know nothing compared to what I experience every passing moment. So curse you hero. For being the one people look up to even though you are not truly any guardian of the people. Just another thing in the way of their glorious growth. He thought.

Even with envy in his heart he tried to keep a clear mind, reading her patterns and trying to predict her course of action as well as learning her skills. Curse you and all of your kind! He thought viciously sending a much larger blast of energy in her direction. He hoped with the pheonix force he could stand up against her, and rid the world of one more fool in the way.

@ziccarra_liafador:The Duke of Demons steps forward with a loose and arrogant demure, "And I didn't think a foreigner would suggest a wall. We're both full of surprises." He says, laughing as his jaw pops up and down, his emblazoned carved forehead bent forward, pushing off of his booted heel and rushing headlong at the Spanish Princess with a ferocity like an unchained hellhound. As one arm is thrown forward he feels a vice grip wrap around his forearm, skidding to stop to jerk backwards hoping to yoke her forward with her own attack, but only then did he realize the attack wasn't physical. Like a bolt of lightning that reaching through the realm of real into the mind, he steps backward feeling the intrusion on his thoughts. Then looks up, shaking like a light chill had crept across his neck. "Better telepaths than you have tried, even before I was a Demon, to break my mind. But A for effort Princess. " His left arm jerks back making the rope taught, his right hand spiraling around the spindled conduit of unknown material to wrap himself in it, purposely. His back foot slides in a half circle and he jerks on it with the force of two big rigs that went 0 to 60 faster than a formula 1 car, attempting to pull her into the air and break her on the concrete behind him. If it worked and she didn't let go he'd go for a swing to the right instead, through a crowd of devolved sin infested humans and into a department store.

In an effort to get a reprieve, Maya's tactic proved fruitful as the demons of Apokolips filled the skies, with their wings eliminating all ambient sound. The triplicated man, eventually became many, his amazing ability to duplicate littered the ground with identical versions of himself, the hive minded group of duplicates engage the hellish demons throwing caution to the wind. The cosmic professor took to his extra-terrestrial vehicle to protect himself from the children of Apokolips, but from her position underneath the surface of the Planet the Cosmic Force couldn't accuratly gauge what his actions meant. As Maya's crimson energy begin to filter through the reality plates, and from the plates to the skies. She could fill something tampering with her mind, something foreign this wasn't a mental intrusion via a person to person link, this was some sort of technology...alien technology. That damned professor.

The birth of a new world, a world forged from the Ashes of the Phoenix. A world where disease and corruption ceased. A world at the height of technological advancements, a world where the lines between human and metahuman were obliterated a world free of the seven deadly sins. A world on the other side of the sun. A world where the Offspring of the Phoenix transcend anything the universe could ever birth. But to achieve this...the old world had to burn.

"You now know what I plan to achieve to bad you will not be here to see it." Maya hissed, her boisterous voice personifying on the surface with the fabrics of Reality shattering depositing what looked like an egg in the middle of the turbulent battlefield. As chaos ensued around the new Phoenix offspring, a small crack parted the outward exterior; releasing hellish flames before giving life to newest of Maya's threats.

Her height easily rivaled Valerie Huntington's, she stood with long raven tinted tassles in a black body-suit identical to Leonel's, the only divation was the open clavical for her cape. Through her rare amber eyes, the enemy lines were drawn. "I will not allow you to interfere with my mother's plans!" She hissed, absorbing the ambient energies surrounding them; thrusting her eyes forward the black beams of energy parted the Earth enroute to the triplicated man.

"As for you!" She screamed turning her head towards The Professor, The Phoenix Offspring shot into the air, the sheer force of her acension tore the parademons to shreads. Eyes red, bearing a mythical whip like Maya's mother Ziccarra; throwing the fables rope over her shoulder the Reality Offspring sought to snare The Professor inside TARDIS, attempting to reverse the flow of energy to lock the professor inside his own vehicle.

Despite the chaos beckoning around them, Maya's use of Reality was causing her body to weaken, the heralds served to keep the would be crusaders off the Power Princess until she was finished constructing the new planet Monarch.

The now numerous agent Snows used their strength and speed to try and escape but it was impossible for all of them. Half fell through into the earth and a few more were pounded by the beams crushing them inside completely or destroying their heads. Nth did a lot of things but it couldn't completely stop the attack, and the sheer force was enough to crush them like pudding.

The remaining ones formed a spread out pattern in squads of three firing the artifficial nth bullets at her like a dozen machine guns. Their movements were ordered but could be changed on a dime to try and dodge a next attack.

Even Snow actually almost felt desperate here. He did not have as much power others possessed even if he could clone so spectacularly well. His only chance here was to try and change her into another clone but that wasn't happening if this kept up. She was just to powerful. Who knows if she could even be changed at this stage.

@maya_liafador:

The TARDIS shook so much, that the Professor almost flew into the control panels. He groaned as he felt some bruises, and was, for the first time, scared by her power. Then, he knew that being scared won’t fix anything. So, he went to work, and decided to ask questions.

“Woah! Woah! Woah! TARDIS, what was that?” The Professor demanded. Nothing had ever shaken the TARDIS that much ever.

“Shields’ integrity is decreasing rapidly , sir. Cosmic energies will be soon damaging the TARDIS at a similar rate, sir.”

Typing at the console, Maya was damaging the TARDIS. She was actually damaging it.

No. No! NO! This is not possible.

Then, all of a sudden, when the Professor tried to wrench the TARDIS out of her cosmic lasso, he heard a beep from his aline device that was reading Maya’s mind. It started to spark, and a blast of light erupted around him. He then had a vision, a vision of a perfect world, not different of his own, Xenon. But he realized that for Maya to achieve this, the old world had to burn. The light ceased, and he was back in reality, but his device was fried. He couldn’t do anything else with it know, but he now had an idea. As crazy as it was, he had no other choice. He sent a message through time, and space as the TARDIS sparked, and blew apart to significant others. He hoped there were others, and he also activated the Paradox machine, which was a huge red, intricately made lever..

Typing further commands into his TARDIS, the TARDIS would now attempt to absorb the energy lasso outside of it to fuel its shields. Second, it would try to bring the shields back if that failed using the emergency generator. Opening his TARDIS’s inside core by a bit, he attached the output-generator to it, and then placed the converter on the floor of the TARDIS, and then holding the input-vacuum, he opened the doors, hoping the shields were up. He also hoped certain people would show up to help if his TARDIS couldn’t protect him. He then spoke, loud and clear, with voice like thunder:

“You want a world full of peace, full of hope, where there is no corruption, hate, or disease. A perfect world. I know all about that. I had one until it was destroyed, but, even though I thought it was perfect, it wasn’t. Why? Because a world, a place, isn’t beautiful, unless it isn’t perfect, unless it isn’t free, and, eventually, it will die. I give you one chance and one chance only, give this up. I can find you a place that is perfect that you can rule. Maybe, one day, you can make Earth perfect, but this isn't the way. You are becoming the evil you want to destroy. Evil only breeds evil, no matter what. But until there is a way to make this world perfect without killing, without sinning, I can’t….I won’t allow you to destroy this world to make a better one. I am the Professor, and this is your last chance to surrender.”

The second she denied to stop what she was doing, he was going to activate the TARDIS’s absorbing capabilities, and absorb all of her energy, and place it into his TARDIS’s core.He had piece of string attached to one of the levers, and when it was pulled, then the TARDIS would absorb Maya's Phoenix Force energy. He had no choice, but it was the best he had at the moment. He could absorb the energy of suns, he had done it before. He was more than sure this would work. He wasn't sure whether her energy would corrupt his core’s ARK energy, but he had to try. He was also worried if his engine might overload and explode. There was also a chance he would fail, and die. He awaited for her answer. He awaited his fate.

Minimal damage, if any; and soon the Malagan Marchioness found herself flailing through the air before being parading through a crowd of the damned and deposited through the front of a department store window. Wincing in pain, she crawled on all fours trying to shake the ringing from her ears. Using the canned meat shelf to assist in taking a vertical base, she rose with a staggered stance ready to go again, but she needed a new strategy. Fighting him close up forced her to combat his quick fire capabilities, and from far away she still had to deal with her own attacks being repelled. Moving gingerly back toward the opening he unceremoniously supplied for her, Ziccarra's shield again fixed to guard her abdomen. Lunging forward sword and shield at the ready, vigilante of the demon's chain. At the moment Ziccarra was fated to strike the smoking skull, her eyes flashes an ornate red projecting another version of herself; using the under/over scheme to temporarily confound him in a manner that only the Goddess of Illusions could.

The "under" proved to be the facade, Ziccarra came sliding under him and vanished as her false blade was meant to strike at his sternum, the real Ziccarra emerged in the "Over" striking with the extra-exterrestial power of her Raxius Shield powered by her natrual goddess strength. Ziccarra pushed her shield toward the demon's fiery jaw in a "superman" punch manner, and then pulled back (In a backhand manner) once her right foot landed. She sought to use her shield's might as an offensive weapon, whilst setting up another attack.

She was not able to do anything else after that, the herald blessed with the power of the Phoenix rained down upon them sending a hellstorm of Phoenix energy plowing into her Raxius shield.

"A phoenix stooge" She grunted realizing that this personal battle between Goddess and Demon, now seemed to be quickly turning into a 2 on 1 affair. Doing a backroll to create some distance between herself, and her two attackers the Mental Mistress moved toward making this fight a free-for all.

It was obvious that her mental instrusions wouldn't work on the demon from the depths, however the Herald boast thick telepathic energies thanks to his newly found affinity to the Phoenix. Amplifying her telepathic output Ziccarra sought to seize mind of the Phoenix warrior, by using her telepathy to boast the Phoenix's effects, if successful whichever "Sin" was effecting him would begin to overtake him forcing him to see them BOTH as threats.

@_animus_: @ziccarra_liafador:

Jason felt it. A surge of envy that nearly over took him. He looked at them both through the beginnings of clouded judgement.

Kill them both. They'd deserve it. They know nothing of suffering and yet they think they deserve to live. It would be so nice to feel that little pain they get to have every day. Rid them of it so they can feel like you.

Said the voice of envy in the ear of his mind. But reason tugged at his soul,

No no. You could not defeat them both! Even one of them might be enough to kill you, even in this enhanced state. You're being tricked. Your emotions are becoming strong because of the pheonix force. Fight it and maintain your goal no matter the reasoning that follows because it will be flawed. Set yourself on a line until the woman is dead or gone, and until all paths for the pheonix have been cleared. Then you must make a decision.

The voices fought one another for what seemed to long. Finally reason overcame emotion, but only just. His willpower was simply to strong for emotion to be his downfall, no matter how strong it was. He would have made a dangerous green light sentinel had he not chosen the path he was on.

With envy fighting against will his focus was becoming difficult to maintain and he squinted to try and get it back into control. Despite it not having the intended effect the mental assault had proven good for the Mistress of minds. Jason was having difficulty gaining his full strategical mastery. While he could still memorize, somewhat, her actions, he still was going to be less of a threat to her until the assault was no longer present. But perhaps still a threat.

Flying over her he began sending blasts of the pheonix energy at her again. This time with not quite as much devastation as it had before but enough to worry about. He also stopped and landed on a building focusing on trying to keep up the fight but not being able to both fight and fly with maximum efficiency. He continued to rain down fire upon her, keeping to the side of her that would not hit the Demon should she dodge it. Although decreasing its efficiency when it hit it would also mean her other opponent would not become his as well. And in this state fighting her and him would be a devastating failure.

Angel's lingerie, messy hair and make-up were all a beautiful illusion she concocted for her pounce onto her ex boyfriend, Julius Basquait. She puckered her bee stung lips in her vanity mirror, polishing with a scrub balm to smooth out her lips. The tsunami drained all the moisture from her body and her lips were the last body part she needed to replenish.

She twirled to the spiraling melody of the music, dancing off the excess energy coursing through her veins. She needed to smolder when she contacted Julius. She lit candles in her room to create a sensual and warm lighting in the background. Performing a quick scan over herself, she fell back into her bed and grabbed her iPhone. She scrolled through her contacts making it to "F" before she just manually typed his phone number in. Pressing the facetime option Angel glowed for the camera. It rang nine times before the line picked up.

Julius Basquait
Julius Basquait

Julius popped onto her screen making a goofy face. Her heart dropped at the sight of him. The fact that he picked up the phone. Her sexy facade crashed down when she laughed at his silly behavior. Words escaped her before she could pick any. She was shook.

"Angel? What do you want?" Julius broke the silence with his British Chelsea accent simmering in her ears.

His question prompted her to place her game face back on. "Where are you right now?" her voice was soft as her Charmeuse silk sheets.

"New York."

"Are you working?"

"Why?"

Something in Angel's mind and body wanted the conversation to carry a different vibe. A more romantic and warm one. Julius came off cordial, but cold. So damn cold.

"I was in town and wanted to visit."she stretched and angled the camera to hint at the arch in her back. "We can play catch up"

"Sure why not, I get off in an hour. We can get Thai."

"You know me too damn well, Julius."

"Yeah. I'll text the restaurant in about ten minutes. Bye, Angel."

The Facetime conversation was canceled before she could reply. It angered her, but that anger just transmuted to an insatiable burn of passion. One she needed to feed regardless of Julius. With that, there was still something alien in her mind telling her he was "The One".

Angel pulled out her Ani Vanis mirror. It was a magical object that was a melange of divination and teleportation. Digging through the memes of her mind, Angel gridlocked onto a bathroom mirror to the Tsukazaki estate in Manhattan. The Ani Vanis gave her a preview into the activity in the bathroom. No one was there as she expected. Shinji was the only one that occupied the place and he was working in Mexico City.

"What are you doing here?"

Within the blink of an eye Angel was in the Manhattan estate bathroom, viewing herself in the mirror. The silence was disrupted with the sound of the shower running. This alarmed Angel and she crept through the bathroom, refusing to call Shinji's name. It could be a squatter or someone more dangerous. Her guards were up. She closed in closer onto the bathroom, which was merely steps away.

Peeking around the corner she saw a young man fully clothed sitting on the shower floor. "Who the hell are you? And what are you doing here?" She brandished a 12 inch knitting needle ready to jab it in his eye....
