Biography: Keina was a deformed and paralyzed child that Doctor 9B took in and transformed into Experiment 76. A techno-organic being in service of him first, and then the Disciples of Sol. Unlike some of his experiments, 9B had no need to formulate a psychological command over this subject due the already technological aspect to it, allowing him to fit in protocols within Keina’s nervous system and brain preventing 76 from revealing any unwanted information about him, and then about the Disciples of Sol, and forcing obedience. The resistance at the cost of severe pain and an autopilot system kicking in. As a result, Keina is one of the few that actually has the mental capacity to despise the Doctor and the Disciples of Sol. But, there is no choice in the matter of her working for them as an assassin and mercenary. Pulling in money off shadowy streets regardless of if she wants to or not. In the end, she felt it was better to just go along with it, and not struggle through the pain, since it was going to happen anyway.
Personality: Keina despises the Doctor and the Disciples of Sol beyond anything else, she obeys only out of fear of further pain and knowing it’d not do any good. Truthfully, she’d rather just live some other life. She has no idea what life, it just wouldn’t be with them. She hasn’t had the chance to develop anything beyond that disdainful obedience.
Abilities:
Techno-organic body:
Her body is comprised of pieces, her limbs can be removed to be given replacements, in fact most parts of her body can with exception of the head and some organs. Everything else can be attached to these core pieces. The nervous system integrates with them universally, allowing her to control her body almost instantaneously and in a way a human, with their limited joints, cannot. Her brain is connected wirelessly to whichever parts she was connected to last allowing her to control them off batteries if removed during combat. The pieces are reliant upon a battery source, though standard EMP’s could not fry the systems, and the core systems keeping her alive are designed to be especially resistant to such operations, but a close up powerful hit to the system could potentially shut them offline in order to avoid overloading. She can feel what the body feels as a result, a need to be properly fitted is vital for effective operations.
Durability: The body can withstand remarkable amounts of attacks, gunfire being relatively minor but an irritation. Grenades being painful and causing some harm but certainly survivable. There is some reliance on the bodies offensive and evasive capabilities over its defensive ones. The body does have spots in which parts can be more easily displaced from one another, but most of these can be put back on if snapped off as a result (though with more effort then a human body would require still). Even her skull is heavily reinforced by this. It is also highly resistant to temperature variations, but extreme enough ones that last long enough can cause pretty dangerous damage if the cooling and heating systems get shut down. It is water resistant, but not waterproof, and deep enough waters can cause the water to get into the systems and fry motor functions.
Joint capacity: Keina has approximately the same locations of joints as humans do but with additions to allow the more stiff parts of her body to move easily. These joints however are different compared to human joints, in that because there is no nerves or blood vessels to protect and the limbs are controlled by vicinity not just wires, they can twist, rotate, and pop, in many more ways allowing a wider range of flexibility and application.
Speed: The body possesses highly accelerated speed which allow her to even use limbs not unlike a whip, making it so parts of her body can actually pass the speed of sound. She can’t outrun a bullet or anything like that, but her body does operate significantly faster then a human and she could potentially dodge bullets due to accelerated perception and abilities. Though, this is generally unnecessary due to her armoring.
Strength: The bodies strength is very high compared to a humans, allowing her to utilize a truck like a sword if it actually held together. It makes close range combat very efficient and also is rather deceitful with her height and build. This is due to newer motors and better energy transfer as a part of the experimental process he had for her.
Pain: Keina feels the pain of her body, though at a reduced rate (Except when the Doctor chooses otherwise). They do in fact have sensors which transfer data into something her brain can comprehend as if it were from her regular nerves, just at a far faster rate. Having limbs removed can actually be quite terrifying, since her core body is only her had and organs, it can be both unpleasant and scary to be returned to a helpless form.
Programmed superior combat: Keina has a system set to make her inhumanly capable of combat by granting her in depth records of numerous combat styles, strategies, weapons, and tactics from around the world along with the ability to record new combatants or individuals to consider the data and find superior ways of beating them or mimicking them.
Remote master: Keina’s cybernetics have a code and a frequency that only Doctor 9B is aware of, and only have receivers allowing them to appear to not have any kind of connection. This allows Doctor 9B to choose to make programming alterations when he finds the need to do so. Some of these aspects even can control her voice box and facial expressions.
Environment regulation: The body can handle some pretty difficult environments from freezing mountains to rivers, but it has limitations. It has heaters and coolers to keep the systems the proper temperature, and they are already designed to retain temperature well, but a maintained system can overheat those systems forcing a shut down, leaving her body open to the elements temperature. It is dust and dirt proof, but not entirely waterproof, and getting too deep under water pressure can force it inside causing motors to fry, which can be extremely dangerous. If it were only a rainy day it can heat mostly just dry itself off, but deep water excursions should be avoided. She also lacks an on board rebreather, further making that dangerous.
Anti-Shadow technology: As an important tool to the disciples of Sol Keina’s entire body is fitted with bright light generators which allow her to not only lacka ny shadow inside her, or outside her, when activated, but to even shine as bright as a flashbang for a time before it overheats.
The sword:
Keina carries a sword like the ones the Hunter Disciples utilize.
The swords used by the Disciple Hunters are extremely durable and sharp using secretive methods in metal hardening and alloys. This allows the sword to stand up to being stabbed into pure titanium repeatedly and then pulled to the side. While fairly stiff, it can still bend. And it is very hard to actually dull the weapon. It has a blade as sharp as an obsidian knife, splitting easily rather then actually tearing into a target.
The firearms: Keina also makes use when necessary of sniper rifles and pistols. The weapons themselves are high quality but no more then the military can get a hold of, it’s the ammunition that may be unusual. While they may be fitted with standard, there are two additional types that she may carry with her:
Lumin shots: These are difficult to keep functioning, as something so small lasting any period of time with a bright light can cause problems. But once fired, these bullets maintain a bright light that can keep a reading worthy room lit for around two minutes, or five for the sniper rounds. They are also not designed as much to penetrate, but can still be very dangerous if someone is hit with them. Rather they’re meant to hit something and stop near enough the hole that the light can shine. If these were to hit something like Valeria which is almost solidified shadow, they’d potentially be like hitting her with a grenade blast.
Consume: These bullets are actually filled of an experiment of their own on microscopic organisms in which Doctor 9B wanted to see if he could program them to obey certain commands. As a result these bullets actually must be kept at a certain temperature to retain their living contents. The high impact of the gun being fired sends a shock to their bodies wakening them from a sort of stasis sleep, and their one command, is to eat. These organisms are entirely steril, so serve only the purpose of consuming a target before they die, as their lifespans after freezing are extremely fast due to being starved before hand for the purpose of eating faster. These organisms as a result will eat absolutely anything and everything they’re near even if they can’t actually digest it. Their size is part of what makes them so dangerous, because these organisms don’t take bites, they grab individual molecules, surround them, and separate them into their atomic parts, this process is what gives them their energy. From bone to titanium they consume almost anything as long as it’s comprised of matter. However, their short lifespans means most of them can only make it around two feet from their released spot. And some of them die on impact, or eat each other. So you end up with a haphazhard sphere of consumed matter, and then a bunch of microscopic corpses.
Usually these are only utilized for breaching a location or against very powerful targets, as keeping them in a proper environment means less of these bullets can be carried. And unless a base or location is set up usually only around 13 are kept on hand because the case is around twice the size of a typical amount.
