The life of Sabrina was nothing short of bewilderment. She was by all means the quintessential American girl, but her mutant ability destabilized whatever upper echelon position she hoped to receive after helping Trevor Donovan's senate campaign. It troubled her senseless. So much so, she wandered about her cell like a puppet when Laughlyn introduced herself. It was fear of change and anxiety of the unknown coupled together that made Sabrina look like a dear in headlights.
"I, I, I hurt a man." She stammered at first, clasping her hands so tightly that her nails could cut her own skin. Her heartbeat skipped like hopscotch as she watched her cellmate curiously anticipate her response. It was the first time she was ever asked about her situation. Neither the Force nor the government's federal bureau questioned her beyond the initial slap on the wrists. With so many troubles in Washington D.C. splintering the focus of this country's guard dogs, mutants and meta humans were imprisoned on prejudices manifested from the actions of the problematic few. As a result, Sabrina became yet another statistic arrested without investigation. "Then they put a collar around my neck."
"What'd you do?" Sabrina sheepishly looked up at Laughlyn and smiled. She didn't want to talk about that day, but she was too afraid to defy this stranger's hospitality. With that in mind, Sabrina deflected for now. She wasn't by any means socially stunted. Truth be told, before her time in power inhibitors, the political science major turned assailant was known for her confidence and ability to work her a room. However, since her entrapment she's been acting very somber as of late. Almost as if she's expecting someone to tell her what to do.
"I imagine something super bad."
Sabrina rolled her eyes as she awaited a response, turning her head ever so slightly to take in her new surroundings once more, but as her eyes scanned the area she noticed Yasaming Ju from across the hallway shaking her head as if Sabrina herself had said something incredibly stupid.
