Children of Omega: CRASH TEST (Dummies) OoC

This is going to be an rp to make our team gel. Not everyone has worked with everybody here and I want to help make it easier so we are prepared for things to come.

We will be dividing the teams into "randomly chosen" (not really, I'll have it done based off of your powers, you'll see why lol) members and they will be fighting artificially created homunculi-robots that will simulate the powers of the ones currently fighting it.

The one it is focused on, will be its current stat-stick. When one member has been targeted, it is up to that member to make it open for the other team mates to attack.

I think I'll make it a point system so basically 1 hit = 1 point.

One robot will have 3 up. The less hp it has. The more it will run berserk.

Interesting. Guess I'll join with a three-man squad of RE:SIN soldiers since Donovan doesn't want to show too much of his hand just yet.

He'll be around to insult his teammates and give orders to the squad though.

@lucius_: everyone can if they want, and I guess we could make special cases for the heavy hitters. Like a three way 🤔 or just have him assist in building his homunculi 🤣 I'll try and think of something. Or maybe we'll do this with restrictions now that I think of it. Like penalty points if you use your powers (not just enigma)

So the robot I will be facing will be another Stomp!

Why would I show my teammates my weaknesses?

@stomp: it's a mold, and interchanges when focusing. Let's say you have it in a clinch, this gives your teammates a chance.

It's not necessarily a weakness of your character, just more of a "laws of war" type weakness.

The robot won't copy your characters weaknesses.

Depending on how things go, I might turn the crash test rp into a KOV since people have been asking for one.

We will however not be fighting eachother but homunculi that copies the teams powers. After the participants are accounted for they will be split in such. The finale will be against a fusioned homunculi harboring all of the previous' powers. It will work off of a point scoring system.

Would anyone be down for this? If not ill keep this in team only. It will be a Canon competition as it all takes place in anonymous Virtual Reality.

The rewards will be a year long pension for the finale, and guaranteed funding for participation. And bragging rights lol

@stomp: let's say you're in a team with me and dc. I try to gain its attention and go in. It focuses on me, you and dc now have a chance while it is mirrored to me. Then it will change and either target you or dc depending on who hit it etc.

Everyone from any allegiance is free to join in, especially if you want some training.

@theengima once you're the Homunculi, you should wait for all teams to make take their turn and then decide who and how to sell. That way you won't be under that much duress. If you feel it's too much pressure i will help.

So who decides the teams?

You can either decide here or write an introductionairy post where you reach sector 24.

People then either decide to tag along with you or you may directly call them out in your introduction.

If there are people left that haven't joined a team, they are thrown together like in dodgeball lol

I'll write my intro post tomorrow and leave myself open for now. Ill basically be standing around sector 24 and waiting for the rest. If there are people who would want to be in a team witj me they can then approach me in theirs.

I needta catch up though after skimming the IC thread the set-up looks dope 👍

Do we get a location for our fights (back alley, warehouse), our is it just an empty area?

@stomp: the first fights will be instanced locations. You can either imagine what your teams instance could look like or make it similar to the final stage, a barren wasteland on the brink of destruction.
