Raeyn felt her approach almost as much as he heard it. He sensed her Temporal Line and resisted the urge to coil around it like a boa constrictor. He tightened one hand reflexively into a fist as he fought rather hard to keep the animal locked distinctly into its cage. The Pandora's Box approaches. When she spoke he lifted his hat up and set it down on the table. He smiled a little when she noticed the dust and nodded a bit in answer to her question. So you know me in the future do you? I wonder how many lives I've gone through by then. How many victims? He closed his eyes for a moment and wondered if in the future the being known as Raeyn had done what it set out to do...and was finally no longer conflicted. So much remains unknown, there's a war to win before I can even think about final victory.

He took her offered hand and stood up, shaking it with surprising warmth. The man Raeyn now wore...the man that had been good to her, tended to leave some strange marks on Raeyn's personality...like the ability to affect social graces from time to time. "I know who you are." Raeyn assured her. He picked up his hat and put it back into place on his head. "To tell you the truth, I look different than the last time I saw me. I've lost count, to be honest. Life is long, bodies are short, as they say on Cocytus." He motioned for her to lead the way to somewhere more private. "Did you know I can feel your presence from many miles away?" He asked as they walked. "Time travelers have a way of being more visible to us, especially those that...don't know what they're doing."

He frowned. "I decided to meet you here because I don't think I have the will power to resist both of you at once, the amount of temporal energy would be...well...I've had some people assume that it's just two time lines, their younger self and their older self but it's really not, it's more like a uh..." He frowned again, trying to think of a good description. "It's hard to describe. Think of it this way, every person's Temporal Line is in essence a certain duration of what if's and might be's. That's all well and good and generally limited to a certain set of years. Now take a time traveler though that goes back to say...when they're a toddler..." He said and looked at her pointedly. "Now you have two sets of Temporal Lines with a suddenly larger set of what if's...because now everything is up in the air. What if the older one gives the younger one a piece of advice on how to avoid a problem down the road. Now all of a sudden the younger one's line branches out, it divides itself between the time line that was, the time line that is and the time line that could be."

Raeyn paused in his convoluted explanation of why he was here and shifted into a slightly different direction as Raeyn was want to do in all its incarnations. It made for Time Siphon conversations that were rather confusing at times. "I see everything about a person when I look at them. I see where they are going, where they have been and where they are now. I know when someone will die, and I know how they will die. Out of sheer politeness, I don't tell people what I know about them." He looked at her again. "The end of your Temporal Line is in flux. That's not supposed to happen."

As he touched her hand she could feel not a warmth, but a chill from it, she wondered… how much restraint he was displaying right now before her. Her eyes looked up at him as he easily stood taller than her. “I do know that.” She smiled as she nod her head, motioning him to follow her as the two began making their way to somewhere more isolated for the two to speak more freely and away from curious ears. “You told me once that you can sense time travelers the moment they appear into a timeline they were not from, I think it was you're way of letting me know that you knew I was going to time travel before I even knew it.” Her head turned for a moment looking over at him with a brief smile before turning her attention forward once more as they made their way into the castle itself. “I’ve actually been expecting you to contact me since my arrival, but it seems like you’ve had your hands full.”

She listened as he began to explain himself to why he wanted to meet her here, rather than her home. “I understand Raeyn, and I thank you for taking my safety into consideration.” The two were now standing before a small conference room as Tassi opened the door, allowing Raeyn to step inside first before she followed him inside and closing the door behind them. The room was away from where the guests were and was usually used for business meetings that Zeon would conduct. A large table was in the middle of the room with several chairs all around. Taking a seat in one of the seats directly across from Raeyn she listened carefully.

“In flux?” she asked, showing that part of the conversation she didn’t understand. “Well, I’m sure when I return to my time, it’ll set itself straight. Which will be soon, I’m only here for a short period, to make sure my family is safe. I know you already know this, being able to see the temporal lines of each of my family member, but something is about to happen, something… bad and it seems like it’s worse than the history books have it.” She didn’t want to go into detail about her mother, how she almost killed her younger self, how she physically harmed Maya. How something was... wrong with her, she wasn't herself, she didn't what was going on. But it scared her. “ I can’t leave here without making sure they’re ok, once I’m sure of it, I’ll be leaving and hopefully the others, who I am sure you’re aware of as well, will leave too.”

Raeyn sat down across from her and removed his hat again. He set it off to one side and listened to her story. Funny hearing about the future, it's been awhile since I was entangled with any sort of time traveler. Unlike a lot of people Raeyn didn't take anything the young woman said as an indication of its future, Raeyn knew full well how malleable the future could be. That was the problem, most people thought just because they knew the future that they could travel into the past and it would remain the same.

Raeyn grabbed a notepad and a pen left on the table for meetings and drew a line on the paper. "A lot of people view time this way." He said and showed her the line. "They think they can travel to another point in the line and the line remains the same." Raeyn drew a line going from one end of the line to a point farther back in the line, then drew a giant squiggly mess where the two lines intersected in the past and drew a bunch of lines coming out of that mess. "This is what really happens. This first line, the line you know and come from...it may not exist anymore. You may have already changed the future you know through some action you've taken since your arrival. Even the smallest stone can cast waves in a pond." He slid the pad over to her. "The reason it may seem worse than it was is because it may actually be worse than it was."

He leaned back in his seat and considered the young woman and almost felt guilty for his explanation. He sighed a little. "I'm sorry, I feel like I'm lecturing you. I don't mean to do that. Like you said I've had my hands full lately...the Time Siphons have entered into a civil war. It's only a matter of time before it comes here."

Cold. That's what she felt, more than anything else. The brisk wind blowing against her ivory white skin, Leah stood out on a lone terrace at the Castello Cardinale, a glass of wine in her hands as she watched out over the grassy plains around the huge winery. Wine. Wine wine wine... That's all they seemed to have there. Granted, it was delicious, and brought a slight rosy texture to her cheeks, but still... Leah soon had grown tired of it. Extending her hand over the terrace's wall, she slowly poured it out, feeding the grass below before also dropping the glass itself, hearing it crash below if for no other reason than to break the silence.

Turning around and sitting on the wall, she nodded to the White Cardinals that stood guard beside her. "Don't worry, I'll be sure to pay for that." Sluggishly she apologized, a small wooziness growing in the back of her mind as the servants remained emotionless. Maybe a drink too many. But, nobody was there to tell her what to do... Leah shuddered again as the realization came back to her, a grim thought that always seemed to reform itself.

Nobody was there at all.

The winery was completely empty except for the Cardinals that inhabited it and herself. No other Liafador had made their presence, yet... Thoughts drifting to Zeon, Leah stood and walked inside, the raven-black dress she was wearing billowing in the wind behind her. The Cardinals had been kind enough to escort her to get some new clothes... Although she knew it wasn't kindness. Some form of worship. Rolling her eyes at the thought, Leah went and sat down on a nice satin couch inside, a place where guests usually met. However, now, today of all days, there were no guests, nobody to fill the halls.

Nobody was there at all.

After the panic in Madrid, the Liafador of Temptation had been sent to Sicily, so as to escape arrest, by her sister Zeon. Who... unfortunately... had stayed behind. Upon arrival she had been furious for not staying to fight alongside her sister, and demanded that the Cardinals train with her for combat. And they had- quite decently. But once training was over there was nothing at all but silence, nothing at all but the sounds of wind and wine and a lone woman who just wanted companionship... But no.

Nobody was there at all.

"Bring me a fresh glass of wine," She murmured, one of the more observant Cardinals nodding and rushing off to retrieve it for her. Leah needed some intoxication. Something, anything to get her mind off of the insatiable quiet.

If hes not, sin it.

Tassi leaned forward in her seat, looking down at the paper as Raeyn began to draw things out on how people, even Tassi, viewed time. But what really got to her, about the whole thing was one line that Raeyn spoke, and it caused her stomach to drop. ‘This first line, the line you know and come from… it may not exist anymore.’. This shook the young Pettis to the core. The changes since her arrival, things that were not in her history books, were becoming part of history in this timeline. Had her selfish ways of wanting to become stronger… actually hurt her family? Would her family even still be around when she returns? Or will these new event’s change history as she knew it. She was already developing memories that weren’t from her timeline, memories that her younger self were developing due to the changes.

Her eyes wondered away from the paper as she sat back in her seat, she was going to have tell Kaylen of this. But because of the changes… she couldn’t leave, not yet. “No, thank you for telling me this.” The Sapphire Goddess thanked her future ally with a subtle nod. “I just… I wanted to-“ she stopped herself, she couldn’t be spilling herself to Raeyn, she couldn’t tell him anything, she might ruin his future as well.

“The civil war?” She questioned. “Here on Earth?” her brows arched. “How soon do you think it’ll reach Earth?”

Raeyn took her hand gently and squeezed it softly. "It's ok, I know. " He looked at the young woman for a moment and was reminded of himself. The best laid plans... "You're not the first person to try and you won't be the last. I...I've done a lot of terrible things in my life but sometimes even the good things have backfired. This whole civil war was never meant to happen, but It did and now I have to do what I can to end it. I like to think of your world as my home now, but I know I'll always be an alien. " He considered her for a moment. "If I could get a look into the Conflux I might able to tell you if your original time line is still available to return to but I can't get to Cocytus right now."

He considered her last question a moment and realized he was still holding her hand. It had been awhile since Raeyn had enjoyed any sort of intimate contact. He withdrew his hand to not be awkward. "I don't know, but sooner than I would like. That's a good example of good intentions gone wrong. I think I've found a cure for our...problem."

I love it when she's singing to the little kid to help them sleep then goes "GODDAMN IT!" really loud And forces the guy who was there with her to sing along xD I can see Zeon doing that while trying to put Tassi down for a nap.

"Come on, one more time. I've got it down. Block with the sword, then just act naturally." Leah assured the Cardinal, as she got ready in a poised position- fists raised in open palms, ready for combat. Sweat dripped down her forehead, her hair completely matted as she watched the Cardinal warily. They had been training for hours, and whereas it had once been bright and sunny outside it was now cold and dark. The two stood facing each other, Leah against the White Cardinal, each one standing ready- the Cardinal simply following the orders of his temporary master.

"And... Go!" She yelled out, running to him and swinging around into a roundhouse kick, twisting around on the toes of her planted foot like a ballerina as she sent the kick crashing down on top of the Cardinal. However, like she had instructed, he blocked- just in time for the next move. Using the strength in her leg, she propelled her other foot upward, kicking the sword from the other direction and sending it flying out of the Cardinals hands, the blade piercing a nearby wall as Leah landed neatly on the ground as planned, a smirk across her face as it worked.

"Ok, that was good..." Nodding her head briefly, Leah stood and walked over to a nearby table, picking up a small notebook and checking off a number neatly. Move number fifty-seven. Opponent: Kendo Swordsman. After the move was diagrammed and explained, she wrote down a few short words before placing the book down- "after disarming, resort to Karate Master's method". The notebook had been filled with dozens of combat moves, some that she had made up and others that Leah had collected from her time in Vegas, each designated to different opponents with expected results. Perhaps one of the only good things she had gained in Vegas, before coming to Spain...

And then, before coming to Italy. "Do you know when Zeon will be back?" She asked abruptly, the words coming out unintentionally. The answer was obvious even before the Cardinal loyally replied. No. He didn't... And Leah couldn't blame him. But she couldn't say she didn't miss Zeon Liafador, the closest thing to a true friend that the Temptation Liafador had ever made before all of a sudden sending her off for protection. Pah. Deep down she still felt bad for not staying and helping... Instead letting her cowardice show and running off like some schoolgirl. "She could be dead because of me," Leah spoke quietly, to no answer.

Right. Now was no time for tears, as she was surrounded by dozens of White Cardinals throughout the Castello Cardinale... Although she did feel moisture in her eyes. "Get me a glass of wine." Briskly she turned and nodded to the one she had trained with, and he obeyed without question, leaving her be. Sitting down, Leah held her head in her hands, covering her eyes and thinking about what could be happening. What damages were being done to the family she almost never had. What she could have possibly done to help... What the hell was wrong with her aunt...

Even after the wine was delivered, Leah did not move. Silence found it's way to her, and for many moments she sat thinking. Zeon could be dead because of me. Now that she was alone, it was different. And Leah Liafador started to cry for the sister she had only just found, sitting alone in the Castello Cardinale and sobbing like a baby from a sheer buildup of anticipation, fear, and regret.

They could all be dead because of me.

In her moment of great despair, a ray of hope lowered down on the balcony outside. Solaris had come from Spain, aware there was nothing more she could do there without getting directly involved in family politics that were not her place to get involved in. She had done what she could to protect the most innocent, but there was still one more area to check, the safe haven in Italy. The Living Star's feet never touched the balcony floor, she hovered an inch above it and gazed in through the window at the scene opening up before her. This is painful to see...Why must humans fight one another? Why must they bring war and death and hatred upon each other for no reason? Look at the result...This is the end game of all wars, someone alone and crying in a darkened room. No good comes from this...none at all.

Solaris reached out and gently pulled open the balcony door. The Cardinals watched her but all were aware of who Solaris was and though they tensed a little they did nothing to interfere. Solaris' morality was known across the world. In many moments of despair and conflict, Solaris had been the only one to openly choose the harder option. She was a being capable of destroying most living matter and yet she had never taken that route. The ancient being floated into the room in silence. The room immediately warmed up, a gentle warmth like the kiss of the sun on exposed skin at a sunny beach. Solaris had replaced her sun glasses, a fortunate thing for Leah if she happened to look up, to say nothing of the Cardinals.

"I would ask what brings such sorrow but I already know." Solaris spoke softly. "Instead I will ask if I can do something to bring you comfort in your moment of despair." Stars had an uncanny ability to cheer people up through warmth and light and it was a trait she happy to try and tap into. "I have ensured the safety of The Champion and his small child, but there is nothing more I can do in combat...so I have come to make sure this place is safe. Here I find you, crying alone in the dark. No one should ever be alone..."

In between Leah's racking sobs, she felt a warmth come in. Peripheral vision showing her the tensing of the Cardinals. She knew that someone was there. Wiping a hand across her eyes to almost no avail, she stood up, workout gear still on, and faced a strange woman that had entered. Tensing up herself, Leah gritted her teeth slightly, not knowing this person, and quickly recalled where the whereabouts of her gun was... Somewhere on a nightstand in the other room. Oh well, if all else failed, she could make this bimbo fall in love with her faster than a-

Wait. "Did you say... The Champion, right... You've come from Spain?" Leah's naivety was clear as she spoke, but the young Liafador was still a little tense. "So are you with that b!tch Ziccarra, or what?" A lip pulled up in a snarl at the possibility. Frankly, Leah was glad that there was someone with her, but... Precautions had to be taken. Especially with the way things were. "Because if you are I'll take you down faster than you can say Castello Cardinale." Albeit the figure seemed nice enough, there was no making sure. As friendly as she seemed, this newcomer could easily slip a knife through her back at an unexpected turn, or perhaps cut her throat in her sleep...

Upon the ideas, Leah's grimace only grew as she watched the woman carefully, awaiting a response.

Solaris held up her hands to show she was not a threat. "I am Solaris, a living star. If I wanted to hurt you I could have reduced the building to bubbling goo from the air. I understand your hesitancy to trust though. I am not on the side of Zicarra, I could never be on the side of someone who would kill their own children. I do not kill, I am against lethal combat entirely and would not fight at all if this planet did not have so many problems and threats against it." To prove her point about being a living star she conjured nuclear fusion around her left hand, a glowing halo of death. She returned the energy to her body a moment later.

"You are brave, but you are also lonely and afraid." She told her. "I do not wish to become embroiled in the politics of a family dispute, but I also do not wish to see innocents hurt or killed for no reason. I have grounded Spain's airforce and ensured the safety of the two I mentioned. I would not say I am friends with your family but only because I have not encountered them in the past. I would like to be friends though..." She said, sounding a touch sad at the last part of her sentence. I had a team once, but it seems i am not very good at holding them together. Now it is mostly just myself and Ryan on The Strip. Solaris was lonely too, but she wouldn't admit it to someone she didn't know.

Her eyes slowly looked down upon Rayen’s hand that was placed upon her own, she could feel the warmth of his energy flow from his hand upon hers as he attempted to comfort her with the recent revelation of that her life as she knew it, could be forever changed. His words actually moved her, about how he saw Earth as his home, but never felt as if he belonged. She felt the same way. She was born here, grew up here, but she was never treated that way. People always knew how to make her feel alienated, anything but an Earthling, even though she had dedicated her entire life to helping people. “Thank you Raeyn, but it’s ok. The way things are looking with my family… I don’t think anything will be the same when I return.” She took in a deep breath, letting out a heavy sigh in return. “I just hope my family will be intact… that’s all I want.”

She couldn’t help but give a small smile as she watched him withdraw his hand, she knew since his most recent change, with the way STRIKE reacted towards him, how difficult things must be for him. “A cure?” Her brow arched with curiosity. “What kind of cure?”

"I'm sure you will be able to keep your family alive and intact." Raeyn said re-reassuringly. "You're sisters will be of big help once you get them all together. You'll turn things around before they get too bad to repair." Raeyn said. Raeyn's expression darkened for a moment as he thought about the family he had once known. There was a deep sense of guilt that would never go away, it was the core of what drove him these days.

"Well my theory is that if you could consistently be fed temporal energy by an unending source...or if you could consume an endless source of the energy, the starvation would go away and your memories would remain stable. For a long time I believed the only such source was immortals who are notoriously hard to find and even harder to keep hold of. Recently I did some research and realized there's another possibility. If it works, I would never need to feed again. I wouldn't...have to fight the urge to feed on everyone I come across. If it works, I think I can make it work for the rest of my species."

Raeyn considered her for a moment. "But we can worry about my problems later. You have your own. Your family and I don't exactly get along all the time, but if I can help you...I will. Just tell me what you need me to do."

Raeyn was being more optimistic about her family’s well-being than herself. The Sapphire Goddess forced a smile on her face and nod her head. “I’m sure you’re right.” Thought she had that sinking feeling in her stomach. Her sisters, brother, cousins even father could be put in danger because of her. Raeyn didn’t know the full situation of her family, he didn’t know that her mother made an attempt at her younger selves life and had already physically harmed Maya. He didn’t know of the storm that was about to hit her family, no one did.

“Endless amount of energy?” Tassi herself held a ridiculously abundance amount of energy that even she, herself, wasn’t didn’t know the amount. But an ENDLESS amount of energy? She was technically an immortal, but to think that she would have an ‘endless’ amount of energy inside her didn’t seem possible. But he quickly attempted to shut down on the subject, shifting the conversation back to her own family.

She lightly shook her head at his offer to help her. The last thing she would want to do, is drag anyone else from this timeline into the issues that she created from time traveling. Plus she hadn’t exactly stated what was going on with her family. For all she knew, Raeyn just thought there was just a little disagreement going on. “Thank you, I appreciate you wanting to help me Raeyn, but I don’t want to jeopardize this timeline any more than I already have by bringing in outside help. I need to figure this out with my family and fix the problem I caused.” She hoped he would understand, and not take it personal. But Tassi had also already asked help from her friends that had already jumped back to this timeline around the same time she did. They would be by her side when the situation would become dyer.

“But… Raeyn… if there’s any way I can help you, please, don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll do what I can.”

Maybe she didn't know, maybe she did, but the impact of those last words were incredible. NO ONE had ever offered Raeyn anything like that before. Help, actual help without questions? Raeyn took in a breath of surprise. Somewhere in his mind he felt the little girl smile, but he tried to ignore it. Why would someone...I don't..."I don't deserve that offer..." He said outloud. "I don't think I ever will, I can never make up for the things I have done, no matter how hard I try, no matter how many lives I go through. I will always owe just a little more on my debt." He lowered his eyes. "I don't even know what to say to your offer. I don't understand why you would make it. You're a good person." He walked over to one of the windows and gazed outside. "I'm..." Not. "I'm a Time Siphon." He said and shook his head a little.

"I won't get in your way if you don't think I should get involved, but if you ever change your mind..." Raeyn told her about her family. A thought occurred to him and he looked back at her over his shoulder. "Do you know what I've done?" He turned around to face her. "Do you know what kind of person you offered to help without any strings attached? You must not, or you wouldn't have said it." He said and for a brief moment one of the many curses of a Time Siphon was visible on his face, the agony of loneliness. Not matter how hard a Time Siphon tried they were always alone in the end, friends were temporary, allies were just useful and other Time Siphons even family members were a danger or temporary mate in the best of times. There were two things Time Siphons felt on profound levels, hunger and loneliness.

Raeyn reached into a pocket in his armor and removed a key. He was making new copies of his previous keys and had made several of this particular one in the past. He tossed it across the room where it landed on the table in front of Tassi. "One day when the sun is darkest and hope is gone, you will need help. You'll find it on the other end of that key. Just uh...try not to use it in doors."

Her heart broke, hearing him speak of himself in that matter. The entire time she had known him, since she was just a child, she knew that he was always striving to do good, always striving to make amends for what he had done. The life of a Time Siphon was not that of mercy, grace or forgiveness. But Tassi had only known Raeyn as a person who was always striving to do good. “Raeyn,” her voice soften with warmth. “I don’t want to give too much about the future… but since the day I met you, you had always had this… energy about you, one made of guilt and shame. You’re always trying to pay some sort of debt. You are one of the few beings I know who are willing to do what it takes to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Even though it’s a struggle for you daily to be around so much energy, doing everything you can to make sure you don’t cause harm to innocents, to carry such a heavy burden on your shoulders. To me, in my timeline, you ARE a good person Raeyn, you just… have to believe in yourself, just like I believe in you.”

Her eyes landed on the key that was tossed upon the table, she could feel the energy radiating off of it. Whatever kind of ‘door’ it opened was extremely powerful. She stood up, taking the key in hand that radiated warmth she tucked it safely away as she slowly stood up from where she sat. Walking over to Raeyn as she stood before him, her eyes filled with compassion. “You don’t have to carry your burdens on your own when there are others wanting to help you carry them.” She lift her right hand up before her as her hand began to give a soft sapphire glow. With a flick of wrist a golf ball sized solidified orb of energy was seen resting upon the palm of her hand as she presented it to the Time Siphon. “If you change your mind Raeyn, and you need help, you just need to absorb this energy, I’ll feel it distribute throughout your body and I’ll be by your side in a matter of seconds, no matter where you are.” She carefully grasped his hand with her own free hand, gently placing the orb into his hand. “You don’t have to go through everything alone, you have allies… you have friends.”

He lowered his eyes. "It's a debt I will never be able to repay." He said very softly. The child's brief scream of agony still echoed in his mind. The little girl in his mind tried to cheer him up, insist that she had forgiven him a long time ago, but he wouldn't listen to her. It wasn't the girl he needed forgiveness from, it was himself. He opened his mouth to say something when she insisted he didn't have carry his burden alone but found he was unable to. No one had ever treated him this way before.

He took the little orb and cradled it in his hands for a moment. "I...I don't know what to say." He managed at last. He opened a slot in his armor and carefully put the orb inside where it would be safe. "You're a good person, don't ever let that change. Whatever happens to you, stay who you are." Raeyn's ancient eyes were filled with sadness and hunger, the twin companions of a Time Siphon. He wasn't looking at Tassi like food though, more like she was a wonder of the universe. People had been willing to accept him before but no one had even told Raeyn they would help carry his burdens. The child that was the Time Siphon grasped at the vague memories of parents but his memory pane was still fragmented and ghosts of memories were all he could find. He wondered if Tassi was like what parents were.

“You don’t have to say anything Raeyn, we may not be close in my time… but I still consider you my friend.” She gave a small smile as she listened to him, telling her she was a good person. She could be better, there was always room for improvement. But then again, she was still relitivly young still, only 22 years old, and while she was an adult she was still learning much about the world. “You’re a good person too Raeyn.” She softly placed her hand upon his shoulder, looking up at him. “You just need to believe in yourself.” The young New Goddess nod her head at the Time Siphon.

“You should stop by and visit little me sometime; I think the two of us would get along pretty well.” Retracting her hand from his shoulder she gave a light sigh. “I don’t want to be rude but, I do need to get going, my family is going to need me soon, and I can’t afford to not be there.” Her hand gently placed itself over the pocket where the key was currently placed in. “Thank you for the key Raeyn, I’ll use it only if I absolutely have to.”

(THE PUH-PEE! For reals, Tassi would probably freak out with excitement seeing Hound LOL)

Raeyn smiled a little. "You're very kind Tassania. Go save your family. I'll probably stay here a little longer and then there is something I need to go take care of myself. While you go off to war, I'm afraid I must prepare for it. Not everything about that preparation is pleasant, but it will be for the best in the end. You'll find that key a tempting target for people who can see power, keep it hidden. The key is as much a trust as it is a gift." He put his stetson back on. "It was nice seeing you."

As Raeyn's hand placed upon her shoulder, she could feel a strange... warmth fill her body. It wasn't something she was familiar with and it didn't feel as if anything happened, so the hybrid Goddess didn't put too much thought into it.

With a light nod Tassi began backing away to leave the room, but not without one last word. "I'll take care of the key, I promise. You take care of yourself Raeyn, it was good to see you too."

With that she gave a gentle wave of her hand before exiting the room. Now was the biggest challenge Tassiana was going to have to face... her mother.

The 5’11 Liafador Cardinal Goddess sat at the bar of her family’s famous winery sipping her 5^th glass, like her mother, Maya typically wasn’t much of a drinker; in fact this was only her second time. The dark clouds that spread across the Liafador home brought on the recent increase of liquor.

For now, her modeling days were done. She hadn’t made a public appearance in months, in fact most of the public believed her to be dead, but those that knew her knew better.

Her free hand scaled a single photo of her mother and father, it hurt; she knew her mother still loved her father, something was wrong. This wasn’t her, Maya just knew. “Everything I loved is sh!t” she broke, trying to hold back tears. “We’re going to save you mami…” She whispered, sliding her index finger down her mother’s face.

Known to have the ‘purest’ soul in the family, her natural instincts prevented her from believing, her mother, Ziccarra was this way by choice. She couldn’t have been the only one that believed it?

Unlocking her iPhone, she speed dialed her brother Leonel, someone who’d been absent during the entire ordeal. “Please…be on Earth…” she whispered, desperately needing to see him. He provided strength when she had none, much like she provided hope when all seemed lost.

“Leonel, I need to see you. I’m at the Winery…please come.” She murmured, allowing the salty tears to curve down the sides of her olive toned cheeks. “Was this what Cat warned us about…” she thought, continuing to sip her chardonnay.
