Artrax 757

It was a primitive world. There was no intergalactic space travel. There was no electro-magnetic railways, or even the combustion engine. There was no need for such thought or invention. The people lived off belief and lived with the other life forms on the planet in a harmonious accord. They would look up amongst the stars, telling tales of their ancestors and their ancestors before them, a continuous tale of life and death which they had long learned to accept. They accepted life as it was given to them. They praised their deity for the air they breathed, for the rain that watered their crops, for fire that lit their eyes, and for the land which nourished their body. It was an Eden.

No Caption Provided

All good things would come to an end though for the Artraxians. It had been foretold that a day would come where the star would fall from the sky. The circle of life would eventually turn to death, an inevitability none could stop That day was today, for in the circle of life the four elements that gave birth to life and nourish it would now bring upon its death and destruction. The skies would darken, the tides would rise and the ground shake beneath their feet killing many and injuring more.

The Artraxians would go to their temples and pray. Pray for forgiveness in righteousness. They did not know that the star that fell wasn't just a sign from the deity, but of a coming. A coming of a civilization called the Nihilo that spanned the cosmos, using up the resources until depleted and then moving to the next planet. They were a virus to the cosmos, spreading their seed of destruction across the cosmos as one lone seed would root with an elemental force causing destruction on the planet.

Artrax 757 would not be alone. Many planets and civilizations would fall under the might of their elemental control. Earth would be no different as a star would fall from the days sky. There would be an earthquake, shaking nearby countries upon their arrival. Scientist and meteorologist would classify the source as an meteor. To people with elemental control, it would be like a klaxon that could not be ignored. The Nihilo had cometh. Who would answer their call.

Deep within a dream, Wilson laid in his bed, with his mind racing through rem cycle. In his city it was in the wee hours of the morning, and as most nights his mind was filled with the most absurd of dreams. In this occasion he found himself sitting at a table naked, with Jessica Alba serving him stacks of pancakes covered in fresh maple syrup. Oddly enough it seemed he was more interested in the food than the vivacious woman, wearing nothing but a cooking apron, as all he could mumble with his mouth full was, “More flapjacks!” But just as the dream was about to delve into erotic food porn, the dream quickly took a dark turn. In the real world he began tossing and turning in bed, almost jerking violently, as in his mind horrific visions took over. Images of a scorched Earth plagued his thoughts, with its natural resources ripped away. In the midst of all the chaos, he stood on a pile of human bones with the planet nothing more than a burnt crust. But between all the horrific images, he could see an Alien race hidden in the shadows orchestrating it all from space, oddly enough, looking back at him.

No Caption Provided

Immediately he awoke, covered in layers of sweat breathing heavily, unaware that his elemental nature was self aware of the oncoming danger, and instead played it off as nothing more than a nightmare. Suddenly and without warning his room began to vigorously shake from side to side tossing him from his bed to the floor, while his shelves toppled over and onto him. Crawling to the window he looked out to see his city falling down upon itself, with the streets cracked wide open and alarms going off in every building. It was beyond horrific, as he was forced to watch his own neighbors running around in the streets fighting for their lives against a force of nature that was beyond even his powers. Wasting no time with a thought, a green wind circled his body and in an instant he transformed from plain simple weather man Wilson Bende, to the wise cracking do-gooder in yellow and green, Windbreaker. With a quick and somewhat sarcastic “Time to break wind” he jumped to the window eager to help those in need, when with the worst timing ever his phone managed to ring. Reluctantly he answered it only to find his boss over at the local news station, yelling at him to get up and go report the biggest event in Earth’s news history, or get fired. With that said all he could do was joke back, “Brother I’m already on it!” after which he immediately hung up and flew out the window in a trail of green. But despite his easy going make jokes about it all humor, there was a deep sense of foreboding as he feared that what ever was going on was far above his pay grade!

The Hall of Justice

The Newly Crowned King of Atlantis sat in the Monitor Womb of the Hall of Justice covered in the Armor of Pallas as if he was ready to wage war with the computer monitors, though he knew that was not to be. His blond hair once neatly done was thrown up in a messy bun, and he stared at the multitude of computer screens that occupied his view. Along with trying to usher a New Age for Atlantis he still had his duties to the Surface to fulfill and lately, his dreams had been filled with tales of foreboding doom of forces above and such things did not sit well well with the King forcing his inquiring mind to spend extra time keeping his eye on the world.

Suddenly and without forewarning, the Alarms in the Monitor Womb began going crazy as a city began tearing itself apart. John's eyebrows rose in confusion as he looked upon this spectacle, this wasn't the Earthshaker Poseidon's doing, these earthquakes were from foreigners doing...which meant that his dreams had indeed been visions as he had suspected.

Rising quickly to his feet John would undo the bun in his hair and grab hold of his trident as he strode to the teleporters that rested near the Womb.

Then he was gone.

The "City"

John's feet clasped tightly on the ground as chaos sprung around him, Buildings rattled like the god of freight trains just passed, Then all at once the ground is thrown up and down with such force civilians were thrown head over heels into the air, The Earthquake is relentless as the very ground shakes with more noise than a quarry detonation, releasing the tension of eons. Screams are lost under the deafening noise and as the shaking retreats as strangers reach out for one another's hands. As their skin touch they look around. Chaos, wreckage, death.

Or so it would seem.

No Caption Provided

Suddenly the air grows chilled and misty with moisture and the next moment the very sky's themself exploded with water, sewer pipelines burst and suddenly the city is filled to the brim with H2o protection.

Gripping his trident tightly the King slams his mighty weapon into the ground with ferocity, The self-made wave crashed louder than the explosions of the Earthquake, and the water washed in the city like it were no more substantial than an architect's scale model abandoned on the sands. But instead of killing the civilians it pushed under its waves it gently surrounded them forming little vortexes under their feet keeping them from sinking under and if by some point they were forced underwater air bubbles would allow them to breathe.

With a single push, the water was sent careening towards the ocean like a bullet from a gun, and in minutes the ruined city was as dry as a desert leaving John standing in the middle of a small circle of water like a beacon. Confidence oozed from the one Atlantean wrecking machine, the golden Armor of Pallas shimmered and the prongs on his trident hissed with power prepared to fight these beings by himself.

"Let Them Come."

The surface would illuminate with twelve abnormal symbols, intertwined with entangled circles as if they were designed to do such an action. Each symbol would blaze brightly, forming a quick burst of light skyward before each symbol began to move in a sequence within a spherical clock pattern until all twelve symbols aligned in a vertical unison. The air itself seemed to crack open like a door, revealing the designer of the event to appear on some grand chair before ground zero.

Magus would arise from he called the Stargazer chair. Once the Celestial Shaman arose with his fine tailored suit the chair itself would disappear out of reality, as if it had never existed. That was the design of the Stargazer chair, a Magi creation designed to transverse the cosmos with little effort. A cosmic auto-pilot, integrated with its very own charts of the stars and dimensions while intuned to the desires of the Magi. Specifically, the current Magus which had arrived - Olivier Capel.

He could hear the Magi Source Repository whisper in his head as he stared at the trident wielding warrior.

He is an Atlantean

Definitely Atlantean

The construct is of fabulous design

No Caption Provided

Magus could do nothing more then crack a smile as he stared at the man before him, for the trident he grasped was of exquisite design. Let me guess, Prince of Atlantis?

He would gaze at area before them examining the destruction which had visited the city if not the destruction of the planet. He could see the faults and weaknesses in the buildings before him, an integral structure that needed to be fixed. It was a city saved by the Atlantean might but it would be restored by Magi ingenuity. You do good work, he would utter, but allow me to accommodate the structures.

Magus' mind would tap into the well of knowledge which his power stemmed, and with a thought a blend of telekinetic might and cosmic mysticism would fortify the foundation of the building before them. His hands would move with an unfamiliar flow, concentrating on solidifying metal and cement which made up the foundation which the structure was set upon. With laser focus, his gaze seemed to will the structure to solidify once more, shifting carbon into other elements which would have made an alchemist swoon. With an exhausted breathe, Magus attention could see the design of building after building within his view would suffer the eventual fate of the one he had just preserved, but he knew the bigger threat was soon at hand.

The world as we know it may be ending, Your Highness. His gaze would fix upon the new Atlantean King as he felt the pressure shift in the distance as if he were feeling his pulse after a soft jog. The cause of this destruction is soon to hatch. I could use your help. I could use any help to be honest for the Nihilo are a plague to the cosmos with Earth itself now infected.

Flying out the window he looked down upon a city in turmoil, unsure where to begin to help. All around him was trouble. On one side a fire raged out of control and on the other a cloud of smoke and debris filled the streets. But on every side the buildings were falling apart as the very ground beneath them shook from the core. Wasting no more time he flew lower, across the rooftops with both hands back by his sides. Then with a little help from his wind powers, a giant funnel of green wind protruded from each hand. In this case the funnels opened wide at the ends and small around the hands, in effect he created two forces of wind, pulling towards him. Then like a crop duster he soared over the streets pulling the smog away while smothering the fire at the same time. Then for the fun of it he shot up like a rocket, only to hover for a while and wave to the people below, boasting, “Windbreaker 1, City in Turmoil 0!” Aside from the joke, it was his own way of dealing with the tension, and with a city full of people in fear he was in over his head. Still he forged on with busy work, by either helping people out of falling buildings or protecting those below from falling rocks, but no matter how much he tried to help, there was always more in need. It was then he decided the only way to truly help those in distress was to find the source of the earthquake and stop it where it all began!

No Caption Provided

By sheer luck, out of the corner of his eye, throughout all the carnage, he saw a display of light like no other, flickering around in a clock like pattern. Naturally he thought to himself, “Self, That ain’t natural in any earthquake I’ve ever seen.’ and immediately flew towards it to investigate. With a quick burst of speed he shot forth hoping and praying it was a clue to solving this nightmare, until he was close enough to see a man in a tailored suit standing next to none other than the newly crowned King of Atlantis, John Taylors, aka Tempest! “What great luck!” Wilson joked, “If anyone knows what’s going on its a J.L.A’er,” after which he swooped down next to them, just in time to here the man in the three piece suit declare “I could use any help to be honest for the Nihilo are a plague to the cosmos with Earth itself now infected.” Immediately, Wilson introduced himself in what came off more as a bad stand up comedy act, “Ta Da Folks I’m the Windbreaker here to help in any way I can!” He then turns to the well dressed man only to say, “I love the suit, does it come in green? Oh never mind, I could never pull off the look!” Then without skipping a beat he turns to Tempest and says, “My King My King, I don’t know whether to bow or curtsy. I hope its not curtsy because I don’t have the legs for it!” Finally, his face stiffens as he speaks in a stern voice, speaking to the only bonafide hero in the room, Tempest, “Believe it or not I really am here to help, and I don’t know if this helps but I had a feeling that I was, well, drawn here?”

Let me guess, Prince of Atlantis?

John's head turned swiftly at the voice behind him, a man in a nicely pressed suit appeared next to him, The kings lavender eyes swam over him quickly, his trident gripped even harder in his fist, the newcomer didn't appear to be a threat at first glance, but John could feel the magical energy radiating off of him with potency, still John would nod at him "King, but not a bad guess." The Magus continued to speak thanking Tempest for his help before soon the buildings started bending down to his will reconstructing and improving them to what they were before the quakes from skies above.

After he was done he turned once again and spoke admitting to John's own fears,

The world as we know it may be ending, Your Highness.

The King nodded as he had felt such in his dream "A world with lava and destruction. We must avoid this at all c-"

Just then in a flurry of wind another being touched the ground next to him lips instantly going off in a storm as fast as his powers. He introduced himself even going as far as to offer a bow to the king to which John waves off. "We have more important things to do than worry about formalities, if you're here to help you're here to help." Turning back to the Magus he would give him the side-eye "I can sense where the source of the Quakes are coming from but first you need to start explaining more. I'm not leading him and joining you in there with little to no information." A tap of his trident a portal would open for the group to the location of the egg but John wouldn't exit through until Magus started talking.

Olivier would hang his head at the visage which the Atlantean King ripped from the very fabric of space. He had heard of such tales and the constant rumblings of the Magi Suppository only deafened the intensity of the situation. He would exhale slowly, pressing his suit with his hands as if he were preparing a presentation.

That egg is the reason for all this. Magus would step forward, his hand open and raised as he gestured toward the egg. It belongs to the Nihilo, a cosmic virus that consumes the very forces of the planet it seeds. Once fully mature, the Nihilo will take on an elemental trait one which will devastate any planet it infects. It will then move onto the next planet, and the planet after it until no one is left to remember to wash their dang hands.

He would fold his hands behind his back as he looked at the Atlantean King. You yourself have stated a world of lava and destruction. I have felt the same thing if we do not end this now. We have to...

The egg which lay so still outside of the warm glow which radiated through its shell began to crack. The Magus' eyes opened wide, his mouth ajar for now it just became complicated. Its about to hit the fan gentlemen.

His hands would project outward, turning the mechanisms of his magic source, his body beginning to warm until everything they saw was engulfed in fire. Elementals are struck down by elementals. I have seen scrolls of mighty commands of water with Atlantean magic. The newcomer obviously has control of wind and air. I will take the other pillar of life and flame this bastard to kingdom come. It is what I do.

Magus would nod at the two, leaping through the gateway which King Tempus had created. The energy from the egg now pillared skyward, its length unknown as it disappeared within the darkened skied above. Magus would be perplexed by the immense pressure which the creature created, knowing many would be pressed to their knees in the presence of such power. Magus waited, knowing it was not only his duty as a Magi to face such a threat, but also his desire not to face such a creature.

Although Magus’s words were indeed cryptic in meaning, Wilson blew them off as simply details. Therefore as the brash impulsive, jester of the bunch he flew forward through Tempest’s gate before anyone else. Although unwise to the rational, to him he felt overly confident in his skill set, and even more with the added strength of the team. Once through he immediately felt a strong gravitational pull weighing him down even several hundred yards away from the egg. Sitting alone in the middle of a electrical storm, the egg, layered in a crystallized form, was no bigger than a small car, with a blue beam of energy reaching upwards to the sky, causing dark clouds to hover above it raging with an up and coming storm. Already Wilson dropped to a knee from the increased pressure, but as a man who could easily survive the pressure from a class five tornado, it simply took him a little extra muscle to rise back up to a flying position, twelve feet or so above the ground. Impetuously he shouts to his team, “Don’t worry fellows, Daddy’s going to crack this egg like Humpty Dumpty..” as he flew head first straight towards the egg, “..and I’ll be serving omelets to everyone!

Suddenly and without warning, as he was about a hundred yards away, a blue pulse beam surged from the egg outwards like ripples in the water. Raging off in all directions, it seemed harmless until finally hitting Windbreaker, immediately knocking him out of the sky. Like a sack of wet potatoes he fell, lifeless and without motion, as if something had drained a part of him. As the pulse energy would continue on outwards it would most likely hit the others, possibly with the same effects but for now Windbreaker took it the worst. Still falling at a great speed, it was the feel of wind against his face that revitalized him, just in time to prevent him from hitting the ground like a rock. But just as he safely touched ground aside the other members of his team, the blue pulse seemed to have disappeared and instead the egg was encased in a swirl of wind, water and fire. The only elemental not swirling around it was Rock. But just as Windbreaker jested, “You normally don’t see giant eggs like that, do that” as the Earth beneath it began to crumble, then shoot up through the blue beam rising up to the sky as if being ripped away by an unseen force.

No Caption Provided

But no matter what the hero’s were doing at that point, the crystal egg began to break, beginning with tiny fissures that soon turned into full blown cracks. As it did, it fell to reveal a lone figure made completely out of rock, that let out a roar so loud that it nearly deafened Wilson even at a distance. Despite the limited size of the egg, the rock creature was already twice it’s size, with the appearance it could grow larger with the more Earth it devoured. Once again Windbreaker choose to make light of the situation by jesting, “Wemay have to put in a little overtimeinon this one!” as he raised his fists ready to battle. Just then the rock beast seemed to noticed the trio, or perhaps sensed them, and in a fit of rage turned to face them. Already seemingly bigger and stronger, it raised it gigantic arms out to it’s sides, then brought them together with a magnanimous slam, creating a powerful thunder clap. Immediately, a force of wind blew forth, aimed on hitting all the heroes, and in fact did hit Windbreaker head on. It was then as Wilson planned to absorb the attack as only he could, he quickly learned he had been somewhat weakened by the previous pulse wave and instead of being able to protect his teammates, he was forced to tumble back temporarily as he absorbed what he could, while making himself stronger for his next counter attack!

"Then it must be stopped." John would nod to the duo and step through the portal, his entire being pulsating with Atlantean power, his eyes hummed with the blessing of his Ancestor and godly patron Poseidon. The first thing John noticed was the pressure that Wilson himself seemed to be struggling with. The King of Atlantis shrugged off the extra weight with nigh a thought as he was used to the literal depths of the Ocean having survived in the Abyss himself for almost his entire child life.

Taking a moment to peer past the immense electrical storm that surrounded him he would notice the egg lying in the middle of the catastrophe they were in and right as the King was going to suggest their plan Wilson shouted and began flying headfirst towards the egg. "Fool! Do not!-" In moments the manipulator of air was caught in a beam of blue light and sent tumbling out of the air. "Get him." John would command to Magus as more beams shot from the storm towards the heroes.

John's trident would spin in a torrent of golden light catching the energy and deflecting them elsewhere, this mission was not going successfully, or smoothly at all and a single angry glare would be thrown Wilson's way. John's attention would return to the egg as it began to crack his brows furrowing in concentration as he tried to deduce the best plan to take the monstrosity out before it could cause to much damage.

Too Late.

In a flash of light and rock a being made completely of Earth would burst through the egg with a monstrous roar shaking the ground with vibrations so deep John could feel it in his core. In mere moments it rose to heights that dwarfed the three heroes and with a clap of his hands PFWOOOOSH John was launched back as the torrent of wind pushed the King of The Seas backward like a ragdoll. With a grunt John would thrust his Trident butt into the ground halting his momentum and causing him to casually stop. He had seen Wilson had also gotten pushed back but he had managed to absorb some of the blow and add it into his own power, before the aerobic wonder could foolishly rush back into battle John would look at him and shake his head "I don't know if you think this is a game but there is time for jokes and time for seriousness. Knowing how to balance the two is hmmp- John would swing his trident in a wide arc to destroy a stone sent his way. Important, and right now billions of lives are counting on 3 men to save them. So get serious. When I tell you too use that added power and push the rock being forward."

Turning to Magus John would point to the giant being, "I'm going to trap that monster, after I do I want you to heat up its shell with as much as you can give, if we can get it into an even semi-liquid form I can end this."

John would rush forward his body lithe and agile, he would rush the Rock monster and slide under his legs "Windbreaker NOW!" If Wilson listened and blew the Nihilo monster John would smash his fist against the ground using the power of the god of Earthquakes himself to open a Chasm to trap the being inside then with a clasp of his hands the chasm would close leaving it trapped, then it was up to Magus.

"NOW!"

@windbreaker: @john_taylors:

The wind manipulator's words caused Magus' face to perk strangely. Before he could speak words of warning, raging winds and pressure increased as did the master of air's bravado took off toward the Nihilo egg. His gaze would strangely lock onto the Atlantean King, his look stating nothing more than, that one is with you. The blue wave would erupt, garnering the attention of Magus and all the Magi before him with the intensity of the wave forcing Magus' mouth to drop in fright.

The Atlantean King spoke while defending against the wave. He would turn to the falling Windbreaker, his hand about to force a spell to catch the falling hero when he caught himself with his own power.

“Wemay have to put in a little overtimeinon this one!”

Magus nodded in agreement. I said the Nihilo were tough. Just then the ground shook beneath them, as the birth of the Nihilo was all but complete. His size would be frightening as much as its famed history. With a clap of its mighty hand, the shockwave began to pick up like a massive storm. The Atlantean King went flying, impaling his mighty trident to anchor from such an attack. Magus himself had to erect a vector shield to displace the force of the blast coming his way. Even with the force dispelled into other points of space, the sheer force of it forced Magus to strain to maintain his shield. It was the force of the Nihilo that made an attacker choose between attack of defense, its pure power making one focus on just one for a group all but impossible. They needed to work together though they were strangers gathered to an unique event.

Magus unleashed a series of energy volleys, each moving with destructive power to eliminate the oncoming salvo which the creature unleashed. The Atlantean King did the same, revealing a plan to maybe stop the creature. It was worth the try, and maybe it was early enough to still take out the infant Nihilo.

Planck temperature is stated to be the hottest temperature guided by the laws of universe. A heat so intense it would burn every star it would come across and reality with it. A calculation of such magnitude would take too long and take out too much collateral damage to attempt such a gesture. The solar system's brightest star, the sun, though smaller on scale its power too immense while reaching 27 million degrees. This was a creature of the Earth, and with its immense destructive power, it still clung to its weaknesses. The Atlantean wanted heat, and as a creature of stone close to 3000 degrees could slag such a creature and still way behind the heat of an atomic blast. It was a good plan. It was the only plan, and with a series of calculations, he would direct the air around the creature to such a creature and see what the John had in mind.

Still falling back from the sheer force of the Thunder Clap, it took Wilson a few seconds to regain his balance. Weakened from the earlier attack, he did not realize that a portion of his powers had been absorbed, and as such he was temporally helpless. But as the living element of wind, the Thunder Clap quickly became a soothing bath rather than a deadly assault. Soon enough Windbreaker was back in fighting mode as wind coursed through his body and before he could jest, “looks like I just caught my second wind,” he got his head back in the game! Immediately, he searched for his allies, and with his enhanced vision he quickly found them both alive and kicking. Tempest alone, had survived the attack by slamming his Trident into the ground, halting his tumbling before being swept away, where as Magus simply erected a shield of his own creation. Happy to see them both alive, especially after being attacked by the one force he should have saved them from, Wilson let out a low, “Thank God!” as he quickly descended from above to stand beside them in battle. But at the moment he touched down, he just couldn’t help himself, and was just about to jest, “So, Where have you two been?

No Caption Provided

But before Wilson could say a word, Tempest abruptly spoke up, chastising Windbreaker and his less than heroic actions. Speaking with true authority, wisdom and concern, he made his point clear by saying, "I don't know if you think this is a game but there is time for jokes and time for seriousness. Knowing how to balance the two is hmmp-” But before he could finish his sentence a cascade of huge stones came rolling in, as a latent effect of the Thunder Clap, forcing the heroes to act or be run-over. Immediately, Wilson raised his arms up, to counter with a powerful gust of wind, but before the green energy surged around his hands, Tempest and Magus were already on top of it, with the use of swinging a trident and a series of energy volleys to clear the way. Not wanting to be out shined, Wilson took care of the smaller few remaining ones, with a wave of his hand, creating a gust of wind that sent the rocks off in a different direction, far far away. But to his surprise, as the last pebble was eradicated, without skipping a beat, Tempest went right back to his verbally assaulting Windbreaker, with the very important “and right now billions of lives are counting on 3 men to save them. So get serious!

Immediately, Wilson slumped ever so slightly, but just enough to show he felt bad for his actions, but for some reason joking is second nature to him. Much like a defense mechanism, but never would he allow someone to die on his watch. But before he could half-heartedly make an apology in a joking form, once again Tempest took command! After quickly telling Windbreaker, “When I tell you to use that added power and push the rock being forward" he explained to Magus his full plan! "I'm going to trap that monster, after I do I want you to heat up its shell with as much as you can give, if we can get it into an even semi-liquid form I can end this." Although simplistic in nature it still was a plan, and Wilson was proud to be a part of it. Instinctively, he placed his hand before him expecting a team bonding moment where everybody puts their hand in and cheers, but he quickly realized now was not the time. “Oh okay, So we’re not doing this thing, alright then” he says while pulling his hand out, then just before flying away he remarks, “Let’s rock, or should I say rock and roll, better yet lets roll a rock, oh you know what I mean, Ta Ta!!!

No Caption Provided

With great pride he soared up and onward, determined to fulfill his part of the plan, and as such the first thing he needed to do was distract the Nihilo. Like a fly he began circling around it, at a great speed, wisping by in an overly annoying manner, barely avoiding it’s massive hands as it tried to swipe him down. But just as planned, as the Nihilo was busy with Wilson, Tempest made a mad dash at the thing, followed by an overly impressive slide between it’s legs! Immediately, the Atlantian King shouted "Windbreaker NOW!" alerting Wilson of his moment to shine and without fail he attacked. With both hands glowing green with energy, he let loose a full blown gust of wind dead center of the things chest. Upon contact the place where he hit chipped away at the beasts hide while slowly it began to teeter and tumble. As it did Tempest then proceeded to slam his mighty fist into the ground, using the power of the god of Earthquakes himself to open a Chasm behind it, where hopefully the Nihilo would fall. If everything was going together as planned, Tempest would then close the crater and then Magus would go to work.

No Caption Provided

But as nothing ever goes according to plan, the idea of trapping a being of Earth, inside the Earth may have been a miscalculation, even if soon to be dispersed by Atlantian magic. Despite the action of Magus, or at least it appeared so, the Nihilo quickly realized it was in danger and as so violently acted out in anger. With another echoing roar, it’s massive frame, even if melting at an alarming and painful rate, it began to merge with the very rock it was trapped in. Perhaps a wave of lava would splatter everywhere, but none the less soon the Nihilo’s massive rock form was gone, as if never there. In the end all you could hear was a god awful scream and signs of battle. But as the Nihilo was both an elemental being and a destroyer of worlds, it was far from done. Once again the ground beneath the heroes began to shake, as several large piles of rock shot out like spikes, large enough to be cocoons. Then just as they erupted they broke open revealing smaller but still massive rock creatures inside. Very soon a small army of hundreds of tinier versions of the Nihilo were surrounding the heroes, each one around eight feet tall weighing in at over 35,000 pounds. But although they appeared a weaker versions of the original, they were each immensely strong and durable, with the added advantage of being able to reconstructed if damaged.
