Athens, 12:00 PM

The sun shown vibrantly upon the capital of Greece, as bodies, hundreds of them, emerged from the shore. Kai Aurelius, with troops marching behind him, strolled through the streets of Athens, the faces of shock and screams of terror not hindering him as he, and the army of Mare Del Forte strolled to stand behind the Old Royal palace, a historical building and one that housed the Hellenic Parliament. Guards foolishly attempted to shoot the Sea King down, bullets reflecting off of his super-dense skin. A member of the sea viper branch dashed forward, dagger drawn, only to be halted as Kai barked to stand down; "No. Do not harm a single person here. Stun or knock them out but we will not kill." The words reverberated with a firm tone, and the mask-covered face of the aquatic assassin nodded wordlessly, reluctantly slipping back to stand by his leader.

By now a crowd began to form, and with a hand signal from the King, a massive pillar of stone was erected from beneath his feet, and soon the small crowd of people began to to creep forward upon hearing the supposed orders not to kill. News broadcasters watched in the background, watching wearily as the King spoke, a look of determination on his chiseled countenance.

"Hear me, people of greece, for I come not to harm you, but to liberate you from the troubles that plague you!" The words seemingly amplified by the same mages who raised the ground previously; "My name is Kai Aurelius. I am here to restore, no, augment Greece's Glory. As a child I spent a large amount of my youth in this great region, and upon hearing what troubles it is in now I cannot help but act. As you know this country is in a large amount of trouble financially. But to this I say, no more! I possess enough money to not only save Greece from destruction, but I shall take over Greece as a country to see to it that such a crisis never happens again!" Kai narrows his sapphire eyes, camera men in the background shudder as his gaze is seemingly on them now; "And to those watching, I realize that someone marching into Greece with promise of restoration seems dubious, and I hear your concerns, but know that I am firm with my intentions. My orders of no lethality do not apply to those who wish to impede my goals. You have three days to appear." With that, Kai descended onto the ground, and soon dozens of camera men moved forward with microphones and questions, but the King and his army seemingly disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Technically you can still join if you want - the rules say you can't close off an empire claim like this. If you wanna refrain out of niceness, you can, but it's not a hard rule that you can't.

As (almost) always, I'm making MRF forces available to the defenders. We don't have much in the way of naval forces, sadly, but my troops would be happy to secure beaches and other such things.
