The sky above Washington DC was bright, the sun keeping it's head above and lighting the day for humanity. The streets bustled with people crowded around an arranged meeting place. Here the U.S. government would escort the Andromedean royalty to the gathering where the fate of their species would be decided. The people of Andromeda needed a home, their ship was low on fuel and quite frankly it was getting old. The mechanics could only do so much with what little they had. This led the Andromedean people to their last hope, a galaxy that mimicd their own before it's destruction. The earthlings had agreed to meet with the empress about the potential colonization of their moon, no doubt they would be suspicious but, perhaps a deal of some kind could be reached.
Mariana sat upon her throne(yes it's portable) standing next to it were the sun and moon sentinels. These fabled guards of Andromeda would serve as her guards on the earth. The ship they flew in was her private vehicle, much like the rich of Earth had private jets, she had a private space craft. It was sleek and sliver, looking like a stealth vehicle of earths air force. It flew just above the clouds, heading towards the capital of the United States(who so kindly offered to hold the meeting). A message came from her pilot, they were approaching their destination. The blonde alien peered out the window, gazing over the now visible city of Washington D.C. It's buildings were primitive compared to their architecture, made of stone and other earthen poor earthen materials. The empress however, admired their dedication and if things went over smoothly she could share some of their people's construction secrets.
The silver craft approached a landing area, it was fenced off from the hordes of people gathered around. They held papers with words on them, the empress could just barely make them out. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BLOW UP, there was no doubt the sign held hostile intent which explains why the people were screaming. These citizens didn't want the Andromedean's anywhere near their planet. Her thoughts were cut short by her diplomatic advisors, they told her it was time to go. She stood up and pressed a button on her throne, it began to shrink and fold. Turning from a white chair into a
gold necklace. She gently picked it up and placed it around her neck, the door to the back of the craft slid open and a walkway extended out.
The crowd began to roar with anger, some people threw things towards the ship. The first thing to leave the ship were the two mecha, the Moon Sentinel stood around 10 ft tall and the Sun Sentinel stood around 11 ft. In their hands they held axe style weapons. They took up positions on opposite sides of the walkway, inside the ship the empress breathed deeply and took her first step into the Earth.
The planet was exactly like her home world, she could breathe the air just fine without equipment and the force of gravity was nearly identical. She strode down the walkway, doing her best to drown out the sound of the people who desperately wanted her and her people gone.
