Everyone knows of that fateful day when the Emerald Eyed Assassin and the Star Spangled Hero crossed paths. In the midst of the chaotic attempt to concur Vine City two very different people realized they weren’t so different. War Killer a new comer to earth 616 witnessed the destruction of his whole world losing those cared for, now he strived to fight to protect the new friends he had made, and this new world which was in danger. Talon a nomad stricken from her home world to this one, ever since she had been used but finally after years of being under everyone’s thumbs she chose to be used no longer and made a choice of her own.
These two individuals met for the first time, War Killer now a redound hero and member of Vine Titans, Talon a member of the Order of Sancta Camisia, finally choosing the path of a villain. But when she witnessed the young man’s life about to be snuffed out she couldn’t stand idly by. And so as a villain she saved him.
After that the unlikely happened call it luck, chance, fate or even God they formed a bond stronger than the very powers of darkness. And so they have continued facing many odds, staring death in the face just to be with one another for a mere moment. In this attempt to create something both individuals desired they had sacrificed many things. For Talon it was her life, and the one man she looked up to and idolized; now she was vowed his enemy. For War Killer it was obscurity for now his life would be in constant jeopardy because of her.
But what if there was more to their meeting than chance? What if it wasn’t their first encounter? What if the windows of fate and hands of chance weaved in a bigger picture a much more delicate and elusive web of events that had previously transpired to bring these two unrelenting lovers together? What if these two individuals had deeper ties to one another than could ever be accepted? Ties to one another that not even they knew of but still existed none the less. A bigger picture hidden behind an empty canvas for fear that on discovery something else would emerge? Only time would tell secrets these two lovers held subconsciously.
Present day finally both War Killer and Talon have admitted their feelings for one another. Many a bumpy ride ensured after but things appeared to be calming down. At first the COP and members were relieved that these two teens stopped playing cat and mouse (obviously Talon was the cat in the situation.) but after several months their so called “(perverted) love” could not be tolerated. It was then that Mistress Redhead for the good and innocents of her team paired up to too young heroes and assigned them to investigate odd goings on in the lower part of Manhattan. There had been talk of a villainous gang coming together and even whispers that a city take-over was already ensuring. But this was merely gossip, yet the brave leader of the team would do anything to at least get one day free of these two lover’s continuous banter down the halls.
So the task was set, and individuals present and orders given. What was thought would be a merely simple goose chase would turn into something neither Laura or Charles could have ever seen coming.
