A Necessary Evil (Territory Claim, Open OOC)

Icy wind howls as a huge, hulking robotic figure stands among an army of smaller androids. Glaring, the huge one raises it's hand to point a finger at the camera, where a small robot is desperately holding it up. The huge figure speaks, the voice menacing and metallic like the banging of a hammer on an anvil.

"Number 18. Is the broadcast ready?" The small one nods. "Good. Play it... now." And with that he begins to speak. "People of Earth." He begins, as televisions across the world change from their regular programming to the monstrous suit of armor speaking to them. "I am known among my servants as Destructrix. And I shall soon rule you all." It says coolly.

"My armies are vast, despite what you may think. These bots are made of adamtantium. As am I." It says. "However, I do not mean to rule you all for the sheer ability of power. That, I already have. No, I plan on doing something much greater- I wish to help you." Beside the robots face, a screen begins to show starving children in Africa. Homeless, in the streets of Gothic. Child labor in China. "These horrid conditions are still around, even in the twenty first century. And why? So that the rich can hide in their homes, pretending their lives revolve around champagne and cologne?" It snarls.

"I am to march on Africa. From Sudan to the southernmost coast, Nigeria to Botswana. Food and medicine shall run through the streets as the blood of my enemies do as well. Surely I will be met with resistance. However, to those who decide to aid me- to help, the world- I shall be awaiting in Madagascar for a week. Be there. Share in my spoils, and help the men and women who cannot help their children."

The message scratches out, and the screen goes back to the regular programming people were watching beforehand.

From a computer, thousands of miles away, Thomas Bastion pulls off his headpiece and smiles, sipping a cherry icee nonchalantly.

WHATS WRONG WITH YOU ATOMIKILL!?

• This is a territory claim. But it isn't the d!ckish, 'rar i'm evil' claim, it's like a 'hey i'm here to help but i can't do that without ruling over you' claim.
• Destructrix is owned and operated by Atomikill, but this is super duper secret.
• If you are willing to help, say so, if you are opposing, say so.
• I am attempting to conquer the bottom most portion of Africa- simply known as South Africa.
• Standard rules. Street levelers are not recommended.
• The average bot that builds up the backbone of Destructrix's army are made of an artificial adamantium. It'd take a strength level of like 5 to slice through em. But they have weak points, under their arms and at the neck. They are knowledgeable in like 6 different styles of martial arts, and have stats of a peak human, save for durability.
• The point is, sell my robots.
• Have fun!

Same here. The idea, concepts, even the acting (for the most part) are all on point. There's just something missing. Not enough action for one. Its like its trying to be Game of Thrones with its drama/action blend but its SyFy channel so it doesnt have the same spark.

@the_vatican_assassin: I think personal it's the GOT part of the show that ruin's it a bit.I like the visual part of the show like the angels for example . Plus they have some good actors and actress but it needs a bit more action in it like you said.

Victor sat nonchalantly in his chair, spinning around ever so slowly as he sipped from a small glass of champagne. He had tuned out the tele-screen on his desk, preferring instead to contemplate his next objective. Growing bored with his thoughts, he re-activated the screen, only to encounter a message he inferred was televised globally.

There's no unheard of space canon orbiting above Africa that has gone unnoticed until the precise moment you need it in the rpg ;) Just getting that out of the way now.

@alister_vonce: John doesn't need any back up besides his girlfriend. @lord_johnathan is pretty much meant for battles like this, against a horde of Primary Adamantium robots most others won't be able to damage.

The mook robots would be cannon fodder for him, but I'm assuming the main one has something up it's sleeve.
