@umbrafeline: Think of a major conflict that America dealt with in the 1800s. The volume is named after the character you found for "scratch" #1. It was released from (2000-2009) Hope this helps!
OMG... that was the most annoying-est quest EVER!!!! Gosh, whoever created this one didn't do a good job!! Well, actually they did a good job because I was stumped... for awhile!!
Glad this quest is over. I had to read through all the comments to piece this quest together. The hardest powers were Scarlet Witch and the first appearance of a power for Supes.

Named after a tragic conflict in the USA during the 19th Century. Don't forget to include this bub's name prior to the volume name. It is a volume like the hint says.
@AlexApprobation: This "first" superhero's issue appears between 1942 and 1944. There are two months out of the year that start with "M". Choose which one. The cover also helps. Look in the volume where this superhero first appears. @GothamRed: It is a volume, not an issue. Don't forget, include the character name. Part of a major story arc in Marvel, plenty of characters associated with it.
@NightFang: Don't feel dumb! I had to re-read this one a few times and check into some hints myself. This Quest sort of waivered in the middle. We just have to read the clues closely!
This quest was really difficult because I looked in all the wrong places for the answers that you know by heart. It's simple so do not over think it. Not proud #267 but so happy it's finally done.
Regarding "You Thought You Didn't Like Him Before" and "'Tis a Scratch", well these aren't issues. Check the Quest hints again, these are Volumes.
What are the names of the two global conflicts the USA has been involved in during the 20th Century? Add the plural of the jade giant's name to this and you get the Volume. Also, search Volumes with the jade giant.
