You've died a hero! Would you prefer quiet admiration & eventual obscurity or have a big ass monument erected in your honor?
If I’m dead, then I don’t really care. If anything I’d like to be remembered and famous while I’m alive to enjoy it. I suppose being famous could benefit my descendants and relatives though.
A monument not to myself, but to the things I stood for.
Maybe an anonymous quote (from me) on a small plaque at its base.
Have my name written in history books. Write in something about me wanting the Philippines to flourish into a better country by teaching and encouraging the youth to dream big and remember to serve others always.

I want the statue.
Gimme eternal glory and allow my vestige to inspire countless generations of heroes.
never let your legacy die, be remembered
y tho?
@mylittlefascist: people are bound to be same until they recognize a higher, much greater force above them. Not only will being remembered give you fame, but also give hope to people beneath you.

Meh, I have more of a preference towards unsung heroes. I don't like attention or high appraisal. A lot of my original characters are out of synch in some way... Speedsters who can't slow down, mystical entities who uncontrollably make everyone forget their existence... that kind of thing.
I don't like attention or high appraisal
Right? Even simply being thanked for something makes me uncomfortable but that may just be the Aspergers.

lol yea... I was a terrible child, because I was never happy with any of the things that made other kids happy. I hated presents, I hated hugs, I hated appraisal, I hated holidays, I was always just kind of a pointless contrarian...

I literally sneaked out of my bedroom window as a child to get out of having to go to a Six Flags amusement park.
@mylittlefascist: I see, but I am looking at it in a way that goes out of my personal preference and more of being a hero. If one was to die as a hero and is remembered for what he/she does, then it will have a lasting effect due to your efforts like making the people stronger. Though some may tremble to the fact you are no longer here, others will rise and learn from what you have done. Not to say unsung heroes made a wasted effort, but as a hero you kinda do wanna strive for fame. A hero is a symbol of hope, make everyone know there is hope.
But yeah writing about unsung heroes is pretty cool concept, makes you think about other factors that made the world what is now or what kept the harmony in place.
@ughwhateverfine: lol I'd have just locked myself in the closet. tbh
@red_ruby_petal: I guess it doesn't really matter if you're already dead... lol
I don't care to be enshrined after I die. A simple yet meaningful tribute to what I stood for is enough for me.
I'd only want it if it makes people know to do good instead of cause trouble for others. Wouldn't care about media adaptations when I'd be too dead to not see or couldn't think of exchanging my soul or something just to see it during said time period.
