YouTube used to be about fun and sharing. Now it is about money and fame. The fine brothers trying copyright something that they did even invent. They bully other channels do anything similar. Smoosh make an app with crowdfunding despite being millionaires. The worst one is Anita Sarkeesian because she used kickstarter twice and got over hundred thousand dollars to YouTube series where she talks. You do not need kickstarter to do that.
YouTubers are getting greedy.
@lvenger: I am giving examples because everyone who those people are.
Anita is not but she could of made the series without the money.
I am just afraid that people will copy it.
@linsanel_doctor: No,I think people hate PP too much.
@jonez_: I am glad because they were bullying other channels and people including Ellen.
@sommie7890: Not to mention some Youtubers reacting to other full content video's thats not their's but is still making money from them without consent.
@nerd_of_a_hero: Oh yeah, that is always annoying.
@linsanel_doctor: They tried to censor people who did not agree with them.
They flagged other people's videos.
And that's why I only like Tomato gaming. He is a small youtuber who works hard and doesn't whore himself.
@purple_d_dragon: Yeah companies are now trying to hire YouTuber to review their products.
@jucaslucasa: Anita is example of greedy people on YouTube.
Youtubing is becoming a legit profession, and rightly so, at least when you consider the people who spend as much time on it as any other worker would. The amounts some of the bigger youtubers earn are silly, I agree, but that's just a perk of being so public, in the same way that an actor or sports star will earn millions when a factory worker loosing limbs and bones just barely pull through. It is an issue bigger than youtube.
While im sure some of them are extremely greedy, that is not "youtubers", that is individuals, just like there's greedy individuals in literally every profession out there.
If someone has the option to make a lot of money that's neither unethical, or illegal - why should I judge them for it?
@dadivineking: Everyone is responsible for their own actions.
LMAO.
And who says fhe action of wanting to legally make tons of money in your profession, to further yourself is a bad thing?
@dadivineking: We all have a right to judge and critique.
Judging is what human do.
Does not mean we are always right.
@dadivineking: I put in my own money for my projects.
I don't mind asking about to help some expenses but some people took too far.
I don't mind the site like Patron.

Really? Not everyone has sufficient resources to realize a particular project. Not all projects can be achieved with one's own money.
Crowdfunding has its benefits, it reduces risks for the person raising funds by sharing the risks with everyone who has an interest in the project. And the people who had their interests (And money) in the project can give their feedback.
The word "greedy" and crowdfunding is not even relevant.
@cpt_nice: @donatellorawks: I am pro crowdfunding but some misuse it like Anita and Smosh.
Smosh app is not unique in anyway.
I find the time to work on my projects while working to two jobs, going to school, and dating someone.
I gave notable examples.
I will called out yogscast for the missing 150k, youtubers like Spoony , video game steamers and YouTuber who steal other people videos.
Fine brothers had millions of dollars and TV show.
They decided to goes other channels.
They censor people who did not agree with them.
That is not right.
I do not want to this to start spreading around.
People who made making videos as a means of livelihood would certainly want remuneration for their work. On the up side, this means better quality of videos.
Oh, pipe down. YouTube is a full-time job for many people. If they're doing something they love and want to make the most money they can while doing it in order to make ends meet, there is nothing wrong with that. Also, YouTubers aren't as well-off as you think they are. If you don't like a particular YouTuber for his/her business practices, just don't watch him/her. Simple as that.
That is sadly true. Even AngryJoe disappointed me a few years ago during the Nintendo debacle where fans gave him a WiiU just so he could make Nintendo videos, but since Nintendo woudn't allow him to monetize them, he declared he wouldn't make anymore vids just because he couldn't make money out of them. You know, that is a really sh**ty way to repay your fanbase.
