I find comedy one of the hardest to rank. These are barely in order...

  1. Team America
  2. Shaun of the Dead
  3. Hot Fuzz
  4. Borat
  5. Superbad
  6. Zoolander
  7. Bruno
  8. Four Lions
  9. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
  10. The World's End

Too many honourable mentions: Alpha Papa, Ali G Indahouse, Pineapple Express, Cable Guy, Deadpool, Lego Movie, Year One, Keanu, The Truman Show, Bad Santa, Anchorman, Me, Myself and Irene, Spinal Tap

I'm hoping to get some inspiration for good comedies to watch.

Too hard to choose, but the Jackass saga and Sasha Baron Cohen's films are all well-deserving.

@general_disarray: Comedies is going to be a hard one. I'm not so much into comedy.

  • The Other Guys
  • The Princess Bride
  • Slither
  • Shaun of the Dead & Hot Fuzz
  • The 'Burbs
  • House
  • Nothing but Trouble
  • Anything with Treat Williams in it. (I'm a huge fan)
  • The Big Lebowski

These aren't necessarily my favorites, just ones I can think of on the fly.

Oh this is a hard one. Obviously I have faves. But a top 10 seems hard to choose from. But I'll give it a go.... there will be more than 10 films on my list, but I'll be counting sequals/trilogy as 1.

1. The Blood and Ice Cream trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World's End)

2. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective/When Nature Calls

3. Step Brothers.

4. Dumb and Dumber/Dumb and Dumber To.

5. Blazing Saddles. (Classic)

6. Tommy Boy. (Classic)

7. Anchorman: The Legennd of Ron Burgundy/The Legend Continues

8. Rush Hour Trilogy.

9. Zombie Land

10. See no Evil, Hear no Evil (classic)

Shaun Of the Dead and Ace Ventura fight for my number 1 spot!...

Honourable mentions: The Other Guys, Napoleon Dynamite, Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin, Animal House, Old school, In Bruges, School for Scoundrels, pretty much all the View Askewniverse films... too much to write. But if you haven't seen any of these films, check them out. You wont be disappointed

I grew up watching about as many old movies as I did current for the time. I developed a love for classic Hollywood cinema and never tire watching the best of its "Golden Age".

Like always, links lead to trailers and this list represents how I feel today.
