I personally do not feel that there is really a difference between eating a cow and eating a dog

I bet cows taste better. Who wants to eat a carnivore?

Depends on the way you're looking at it...

Pretty sure there was another thread on the topic recently, but anyhow, from a moral standpoint, there's not a whole lot of difference, from a nutrition standpoint, it's a different story.

Well, dogs are pets and are favored amongst people more than cows are. Weird thread ngl, but there is a difference between eating the two.

Many of us eat carnivores everyday. Pigs lol. Granted, they eat anything, but still.

I feel like dog tastes way worse given that “dog smell” but idk. Wouldn’t mind trying dog meat but since I’ve got two dogs it’ll be kinda weird admittedly

Yes from the standpoint of meat quality and composition there would be a difference. However it greatly depends on how it is prepared.

Depends on the culture.

In some countries they don't seem to care about eating both either way.

In some, Cows are considered sacred religious objects and it is a taboo to harm them.

In many societies, dogs are considered as companion animal and a family member, while cows are considered as a livestock and a source of edible protein.

This arrangement is practical to many people as most of them do not have the means to own a cow and maintain them as pets hence it is economically prohibitive for most people to form a special bond/relationship with cows.
